Went here for a birthday party with a group of 20. We were the only group and had made a reservation prior to. We got there at about 5:30 and ordered at about 6. There were about 4 waiters for our group. Myself and my friend ordered drinks. We saw other friends get their drinks, so we asked for our drinks which they said were coming. Then had to ask again, 20 minutes later, for the drinks. Finally got the drinks. Then people’s food started coming out, but there were four of our group who never got their food, myself included. I waited until 7:30, when some people had started to get their BILLS for their food, and then went over to the McDonalds across the street with another person who hadn’t gotten food because we were starving. It turns out the servers had just never put our orders in, so we didn’t end up getting food there at all. They apologized to the main person for our group but not to myself or my friends directly, and didn’t seem to notice or apologize to us about the mess up. I’ve worked in restaurant as a server and the number one rule is to pay attention to your customers! This was not done at all. Our friends also had to ask for their bills at the end. The wait staff just really didn’t seem to care about providing us with service, and didn’t even seem to care about getting paid. From the food that was served, the quesadillas looked really good and a great portion, and the dancing was really fun, lots of awesome music. However, I would not recommend this place to anyone hoping to eat before 8pm.

I went a couple of months ago and i order a bandeja paisa it was really good, but i went this last Friday and we arrived and they ask me to pay and fee to be there i ask if there were food because the place was packed, when we sit to order we change our mind to be there because it was a big party going on and food was mostly just appetizers available and we went to the main door and ask for the refund, request that was refused they said that it could be possible because we paid with card they offer to give us the value back on drinks or food so we agree to stay, so we ordered the food this time was really salty and greasy we ordered quesadillas, when we ask for the bill and the value of entrance back they refuse to give that back because that was for the dj that was playing , so we ended up paying our food + $22 of music service... Not the best experience.

I don’t like giving bad reviews but I’d never eat here again or recommend it. To start out the ambiance isn’t great. The lighting and seating needs serious adjustments. The glasses that we were given for water had lip prints and were dirty, which is disgusting enough without COVID going around. Half of our tables food was brought out and by the time the second half’s plates came out the first were already done eating. Having your timing right is important. Not pleasant to have to watch other ppl eat while hungry. By the time my food finally came out, it didn’t even come with sides that’s were stated on the menu, although, i don’t think i was missing much. I tried my aunts rice and it was super salty and seemed like it was left out. Don’t know how you mess up white rice. Was recommended to eat here by a friend, but the place seems to have gone downhill. The waitress did mention a change in chef. That could be the cause of it.

Decided to walk in unannounced for take-out. The server was very friendly, and the food I ordered (the gordita entree and a side of yuca fritas) came out quick, hot, and tasty. Pros: + The most authentic latin food I've had in awhile + Server made sure to sit me and serve me water while I waited for my takeout. He was very friendly and approachable. + Food was still hot when it came out + Staff made sure to smile at me and say thank you when I left Cons: - There was some minor awkwardness when I came in unexpectedly for take out, as the server assumed I ordered already. - Server came to ask for my take-out order a little quick for my liking. I wasnt completely decided when he asked if I was ready to order. - The decor is not particularly inviting, and honestly, I wasn't planning on eating there because I felt I would be the only white guy. I decided to take a risk though, and I'm so glad I did!

Great place very friendly in a quiet residential neighborhood. Hubby and I went for Noche Cubano and we’re just there enjoying the music, doing a little dancing and soaking up the atmosphere. We could see some delicious dishes passing by us on their way to some lucky diners. The dishes looked very authentic and had been ordered by what appeared to be authentic Latinos who would know where to find tasty Latin American cuisine. When we go back to dine I’ll update my review. I’m sure we will be back.

Just had lunch at the Latinos Resto-Bar. Experience has been excellent, food is simply amazing! My wife is Colombian and she felt just like home. Great Mexican restaurant! Good food, drinks and dancing. Salsa classes available and great karaoke nights. The owner Idalia is super friendly and the service from all staff is first rate. Tuve una muy mala experiencia anoche, fui a cenar y mi cena tardó 1 hora con 20 minutos en llegar, cuando habían pasado 45 minutos dije que quería cancelarla y la señorita mesera dijo que ya no podía cancelarla sin embargo aún tardó media hora más, pedimos la cuenta y cuando pagué mi cuenta era de 60.dlls y pagué en efectivo, la señorita no me regresó mi cambio.

I love this little, cozy outdoor patio. This came in super clutch for Copa America 2021, as it was the only place where we could watch the game outdoors. The drinks are great and very, very well-priced. The food is tasty, with large portions, and is also very well-priced. The staff is always friendly, and the service is fast. In non-pandemic times, this is a great place to go out and dance.

A fantastic experience! We were served very quickly and the staff was fantastic. We travelled a lot and finally found a restaurant with authentic dishes in Ottawa! The lady that served us our meal kindly offered a dessert after we had paid and we are very grateful (plus it was so good!!). The enchiladas were delicious and we can’t wait to visit again!!

Went there with friends on a Saturday night and the initial impression was great! Lively, salsa laying, people dancing and a happy atmosphere! The bandeja paisa was very good and an awesome bang for your buck! What makes me give them 4 stars is how impatient the server was... Don't rush your clientele to order their things, no matter what time it is.

April 10, 2021 Fantastic experience! We ordered some delicious empanadas and two patacons (one chicken and one beef). Even during the lockdown, the customer service (in English or Spanish) was phenomenal and hospitable. She was very welcoming. Highly recommend! I'll definitely be coming back.

The place is cozy, inviting, great atmosphere, excellent customer service. Delicious, authentic latinamerican food, nicely presented, generous portions. The drinks are cold and the music is hot! Prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend "Latinos Restaurant and Bar"

This is an excellent place to go on a Friday night. Be sure to check their facebook to see what programming there is and what the cover charge is. I highly recommend this place.

Incredible establishment, they gave my friend a free mojito! They also played ABBA for us upon request, I've honestly never been happier to share my culture (and if the service is too slow, there's a McDonald's right across the street!). 10/10 would recommend.

Delicious Latin food specialty the Mexican and Colombian one. This restaurant has a Colombian chef who made any typical Colombian dish with a great taste since they use original ingredients also they do deliver for lunch and dinner for a really good price.

The food was great! Stellar mojitos as well. Fun atmosphere with lots of dancing and Latin music. Would highly reccommend you try it. The owner and staff are very friendly.

This is one of the best Restaurants in town. Amazing food and drinks, but on top of everything the owner Idalia and her crew make you feel at home. If you need a place to eat, have fun and enjoy your time; Cantina is the place to be.

I spent my 34rth birthday here yesterday and what a great time. Amazing drinks and the staff was so lovely and nice! I never knew it existed! What a little hidden gem. Me and my twin will be back for sure!!!! Gracias por todo!
