The place is located in a small, quiet shopping centre. My first time going there was a disappointment. Not from the selections of paint and other offerings but from the lack of attention I received from the people working there. Two men chatting about music behind the counter, one man seemingly busy with some sort of display set up, and a lady at a desk about a corner of the store. After several minutes I was asked if I was looking for something, to which I reply that I was looking around and it was my first time in the paint store. I stayed for 20 minutes looking at everything (paints, brochures, wallpaper books). I wish someone would at least approach and talk about the layout, the types of paints...

I needed a gallon of Benjamin Moore paint and drove from Barrhaven to Bells Corners since the Barrhaven store wasn't open yet. Their website states they open at 7:30, I arrived at 7:45 and the sign in their window stated they open at 8:00. No big deal so I waited. The store still wasn't open at 8:05 so I left. The owner should update their operating times and whoever is supposed to be working at the store should be there on time. The way businesses have suffered the past three years one would think they would be more than happy to get new business, but that's only if the store is open. I will never buy anything from this location in future.

Have had several really great experiences here purchasing BM paints of various formulations and colours. The staff have always also been really helpful answering lots of questions. I repainted my kitchen cabinets with "Advanced" formula and am really happy with the results. I also painted an accent wall in our spare room and was prepared to buy a gallon of paint (being an inexperienced painter) and the salesperson was honest and said I'd probably only need a quart. Saved me a lot of money and guaranteed I was back for my next project. Great selection of tools as well and prices are competitive. Happy to support a small business.

I am primarily a customer of the Hazeldean location, but I needed to grab paint from Bells corner due to the other location being sold out. This didn't bother me at all, especially because when I arrived at bells corner my paint was already being shaken, and all I had to do was pay. The Hazeldean staff called had set aside the needed product and gave the color and sheen I wanted. I was very impressed! I'm glad these 2 locations work so closely together to give their clientele the best service possible even when the situation is less than ideal.

The experience here depends on who you are dealing with from the sales team. Basically from very good to being called a "dumb a.." in the face. Very wide scale of experience! I will never set foot in this place again. I gave one star since

Great place to buy Benjamin Moore paint. The guys were very knowledgeable, friendly and provided fast and efficient service.
