I had an extremely disappointing experience with Jetstar Airways. The customer service I encountered was nothing short of terrible, with condescending agents who seemed more interested in deflecting responsibility than assisting passengers. One of the most frustrating aspects of my experience was the inconsistency in the baggage weight measurements. I meticulously weighed my bags using a Jetstar scale at the airport, and they were well within the airline's specified limits. However, upon reaching the gate the bags were weighed again, and I was shocked to discover that the airline's scales showed my bags as significantly overweight, consistently about 3 kilograms heavier than my measurements. This raised suspicions that Jetstar might be manipulating their scales to charge unsuspecting passengers extra fees. When I brought up this concern with the attendants, their response was not only dismissive but also extremely condescending. They intensely insisted that their scales were accurate and implied that I must have been mistaken or trying to evade fees deliberately. This lack of professionalism and understanding was incredibly frustrating and leaves me feeling deceived and mistreated as a paying customer. The airline's policy of charging $65 for overweight carry-on baggage is a blatant money grab, especially since I paid for a checked bag as well, but now had no option but to pay since I couldn’t transfer “weight” from my carry-on to the checked bag. I would STRONGLY advise any travellers to book with another airline like Virgin Airways, or if you’re desperate enough to take Jetstar I would advise to exercise caution and be prepared for issues or to be scammed when dealing with Jetstar. They’re an awful company.

Today I had an issue with trying to reschedule/refund my travel due to sever weather halting all flights for the next 3 days at Cairn airport. I had a plan to fly in with Virgin and Fly out with Jetstar. Virgin informed me that they expected issues to last until the 3 day and gave me a refund. Jetstar informed me that they only expected the issues to last 2 days and said that even if it was canceled they would only give me a voucher. They said they didn't accept any responsibility because they were not flying me in. But thats not the worst part. The worst part was the blonde customer service agent at the desk who had a very rude attitude. When she was tired of the conversation it seemed like a switch was thrown and she was suddenly super combative and told me "oh youre just trying to be rude and waste my time by talking in circles I have already told you all of this." I asked to speak with her manager who was much more reasonable and finaly managed to explain everything. But it was honestly unbelievable how bad the first lady was. All it requires is a little bit of effort to explain things simply.

Worst worst worst airline in the world. Do not fly Jetstar if you have any respect for yourself because they don't. Today they cancelled our flight and only found out when the automatic teller machine didn't want to print the bag tags. We asked a Jetstar employee to help but said wait in the line and someone at the booths will help. After an hour with tired kids and grandparents there was a guy called Bruce who was at till 4 at 17:30 on the 2nd January 2023 and without giving any shts in the world told us that there were no more flights, no accommodation offered and it was our fault because we should have received a txt message with a link to rebook. He was rude and after offering zero solutions called the supervisor. The supervisor who was an American was even more incompetent and said we will get a voucher and be gone. If we want to check another flight we need to get back to the end of the hours long cue and ask for another till operator to find us another flight. I will never fly Jetstar ever.

Jetstar provides the outmost service for customers who requires a wheelchair and provide a quick check in and a priority service. I can’t fathom how much stress that taken off my chest as it’s stressful caring for an elderly whilst travelling and Jetstar has been extremely excellent! I will always be travelling with Jetstar, they are so assistive from the time you check in to check out with care and I felt so safe with elderly mother travelling. We were given priority transported into the plane first comfortably and safely! 10 stars ⭐️

I can't believe the audacity of Jetstar! It's absolutely infuriating that they have such a complete disregard for customer service. Take a look at this photo, can you see the long line of people waiting? And to make matters worse, there's only one person serving! It took an eternity just to drop off my bag. But that's not all, there was this Jetstar employee who was literally screaming at the customers. It was like being in a different country, completely unacceptable! Jetstar needs to seriously step up their game!

#jetstar is a joke. Our Sydney to Melbourne flight was departing gate 57. Then last minute we were told to go to gate 49 with some delays then while waiting we were told go to gate 57 ! What on earth is this airline company and what kind of communication they are using. I wish I will give them -ve 5 stars. I noted the staff laughing , seriously this is not how you run airlines. I think they may think it is a bus services. What a joke ! I attached pictures and an online apology is not enough

Truly awful excuse of an airline. Cancelled flight at last minute but unable to provide any form of real assistance. Replacement flights are all sold out with passengers stuck in the terminal. Staff are rude, unprofessional, useless and don't know what they are doing other than slacking off. Will give them a ZERO star if I can.

Bullies, unprofessional and absolutely obnoxious. If you have PTSD, this airline will exacerbate your condition and make you feel like you wanna walk to your destination, simply to avoid their terrible lack of humanity. Appalling. The Worst. Worse than Virgin. Worst in the Country.
