My visit to the Jami Omar Mosque in Ottawa was a truly wonderful and enriching experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and peace. The mosque's stunning architecture, with its intricate designs and soaring minarets, captivated my senses and instilled a sense of awe. The spacious prayer hall, adorned with beautiful carpets and adorned walls, provided a serene space for worship and reflection. The Jami Omar Mosque offered a vibrant and inclusive community, embracing individuals from diverse backgrounds. The congregants were welcoming and friendly, creating an atmosphere of unity and brotherhood. I had the opportunity to engage in conversations with fellow worshippers, sharing stories, insights, and experiences. I highly recommend coming here for all prayers and watching small kids getting trained in salah. So beautiful Mash' Allah!

Jami Omar where you find all the spiritual things, very beautiful, always clean, and the lessons learned from it are many, you always find there are activities for all ages, in addition to the Altarbiya school that is sponsored by Omar Mosque. And it is the best place to give charity, as our society will benefit from it. Just to know, If you are a low-income person, Jami Omar offers free meat to those in need through its refrigerator. Thanks to those in charge of it for everything they offer to the Islamic community.

Best center .... Normally, go to this mosque for Friday prayers. Today, we visited Eid ul Fitr, the first congregation, the parking lot was full, and I had to park on the street, but the management had arranged for the school board parking lot to allow parking for Muslims. Just a suggestion for visitors is that please follow instructions provided by security staff regarding getting in and out of the parking area and don't rush. Great place for Muslims to pray.

Although my house is quite far from this mosque, for the last two years, I prayed most of my taraweh prayers here. I don’t know who the Imams are but MashaAllah their recitation is so beautiful. I also appreciate how much they encourage the youth to lead prayers. And, it’s amazing that they are so concerned about the well being of the neighbours. They always remind us to be mindful of them. Great work ethics!

Went to the annual bbq event and met so many nice people. My store Freshco donated the food for the event but must say the volunteers and total team effort and our partnership now will make all events at this beautiful building a success. Before heading to Montreal stopped by in this masjid and prayed my kasar salat for Dohor and asr. SubhanAllah a very big and beautiful majid close to highway and in a very nice neighborhood. Very well maintained and well decorated, very neat and clean too. May Allah subhana wa taala Marcy on those who manage this wondeful masjid.

Spacious beautiful and peaceful setting. Lots of chairs to accommodate those who need them. Plenty of room at entrance/lobby, lots of shoe shelves, hangers and cubby spaces. Clean wudu and washroom facilities. Basketball gym, separate men's and women's weight room. Spiritually uplifting environment.

Omar Mosque in Kanata is a beautiful and welcoming place of worship. The architecture is stunning, and the community is friendly and inclusive. The services are well-organized and the Friday prayer sermon is thought-provoking. Overall, a great place to connect with the local Muslim community.

I had a chance to pass by this mosque as i was travelling to Otawa. I am very glad to see this spacious mosque and the cleaness. I offered Zuhr and Asar prayer as well. May Allah accept our prayers and good deeds and give Ajer to the people/Brothers/Owners and management of this mosque

I am going to this mosque since childhood. I’ve seen it be built from nothing. Overall is a very good mosque and perfect for community gathering such as Iftar. For the management I have a question? This mosque is Sunni? If so which school does it follow? (I.e Hanafi,)

Salam. Mashallah got the hypest gym. This mosque is down by law. New imam is young, approachable, has good knowledge mashallah and plays ball apparently. So cozy and good washrooms. It's taken ages though for upper level to open. Alhamdulillah

A nice spiritual place, great community center and one of best and large place for Muslim pray in Ottawa. I was their for Eid ul Fitar pray and I was feeling like that I am praying in my country's mosque.

My special needs son attends a drop in on Sundays 2-5 for youth and young adults. They use the gym, do crafts, play games, learn cooking. It's free. Great service, I thank them for having it, so local.

Visited the mosque today for the first time, neat and peaceful. Imam Oways was very caring and helpful. Many thanks to the executives of this masjid who seem to have done everything perfect.

Best masjid in Ottawa mA. Complete with gym, weight room, huge space, Islamic school for kids and trendy, cheerful blue carpets. Feels like a proper community centre. Check it out!

Beautiful mosque, only thing that needs some attention are the exterior steps of the building. I found them little steep and damaged. Inside of the mosque is amazing.

Big mosque with 5 starp facilities. There is also a Islamic school in the same building. Day to day masjid operations seems pretty organized.
