I recently dined at Italian Street Kitchen, and my most recent visit on June 11th left me with mixed feelings. Despite making a reservation for a table of 7 people, our dining experience was marred by several disappointments. We specifically requested that the pizza be served after the other dishes, but our food took well over 45 minutes to arrive, causing my 8-year-old daughter to grow increasingly impatient for her Kids Spaghetti Napoli. The main issue we encountered was the lack of attentive wait staff. Given that it was a public holiday long weekend, the restaurant could have benefited from arranging additional staff to alleviate the pressure on the existing employees. Unfortunately, we struggled to get the attention of the wait staff throughout the evening. It became necessary for us to approach the manager or supervisor after finishing our meal, as there was no wait staff member in sight to address our concerns. When my brother brought up the delay of 45 minutes for our initial food order and the subsequent wait for the pizza, the supervisor's response was disheartening. She attributed the delay to the pizza being ordered after the other dishes and mentioned having other large tables to attend to, implying that our table was not the only one demanding their attention. While it was surprising to read numerous negative reviews about the staff behavior, I couldn't help but feel that the restaurant management should have taken into account the holiday rush and either hired extra staff or limited the number of bookings to ensure a more manageable workload.

This place was great for a dinner with the family. Had room to park our stroller inside and have some drinks and food. Very nice flavourful dishes which weren't too expensive and decent amount. Will be coming to eat Italian kitchen now compared to crinitis which only had the fresh fig salad we liked.

Loved the food and the service. Went for dinner with my husband on our anniversary (During Xmas NY Dec 2023). The restaurant were very busy that day and the servers were struggling to keep up. Even then they were so kind and lovely. They let us know from the time we arrived that they were exceptionally busy that day but were still doing their best. Their level of service made all the difference. (special shoutout to Lachlan) They even gave us 2 limoncello shots for our anniversary. Food was really good too. Loved their pizza - so fresh. Pasta could have been served warmer but was absolutely delish. The panna cotta was an absolute stand out for me! Very pretty location by the waterside. Even has Messina Gelato right beside the restaurant.

This place is must try. Not only was the service fantastic, it was super fast for a fully booked and busy night. The calamari was authentic but with a twist - soft juicy squid battered simply in semolina flour, but with a squid ink aoli! We also had the best pasta of our lives - the pumpkin rotolini. It was so sweet and buttery and had crunchy amaretti biscuits! Finally the pizza was authentic, the kind you have to fold to eat. We also loved how the menu had the regions of Italy each that dish descended from. Great people and ambience, we’ll be back. P.S. vegetarian friendly!

They have large pizza oven, all the wood fire breads and pizza are freshly baked and they are really something amazing! They regularly update their menus and add new cocktails. They currently have a truffle menu and you have to try their truffle carbonara! Tiramisu cocktail is also very delicious.

Great Pizzas - as thin as they can get. We tried Margherita and Mushroom & Cheese. Off these, we loved the Mushroom Cheese as both the toppings were very flavourful! Would definitely go back for the Pizzas. Pasta - not so much. Probably not to our liking. We had Bologna with Fettuccine pasta. Sauce and the cook was slightly underwhelming. All in all, a good option to try with family and friends, especially with the nice ambiance of this place. We were from interstate for business and didn't book, the restaurant was booked out. Sal still got a table for us outside, under the heater with rugs of needed. Food was fabulous, service so friendly and engaging, atmosphere wonderful. We enjoyed it so much we booked the next night. My family and I had the lunch special. Most of the meals were typically sized for such a cheap special, but the Bolognese was a bigger portion than expected which was nice. The food was good quality, the pasta was lovely, and the beans we had on the side were absolutely exquisite for what they were; a funny statement, but easily the best way to serve a side of greens. Loved it. The only complaint is my Dad's steak was overcooked, but the meat was tender enough it didn't bother him too much.

Wow we were lucky to stumble across this little gem. Saturday is their busiest night and they were packed out but even though we had no booking they still squeezed us in. The atmosphere is fantastic but never set on the tall chair, it's now good and it's uncomfortable. I asked the ladies 3 times to set outside and ill wait but she told me that it was fully booked and she didn't make me set outside even though it's a lot of empty tables and chairs!!!! I was there at 8 pm and they closed at 10! Btw overall it was nice Prices are normal The pizza was yummy Turramesu have a lot of coffee! I didn't like it.

We made a reservation for my mother's birthday. Specified we need an indoor table as we are with older people and the outdoors is too cold for today. When we got there we were rudely told by the manager that there were only outside tables, there are "no notes about needing an inside table", so it's our bad luck. The server who was trying to help us was a little kinder at least. But that manager needs some brushing up on her training. Unfortunately the nicer Italian restaurants in the area are closed on Sundays :)

We decided to get several dishes to try. I could not believe the flavours from each dish. The fettuccine was probably the best I've ever had in my life and I eat everywhere. I couldn't get enough of the calamari. Even the broccollini was full of flavour. The cocktails were delicious. Gabby was an incredible waitress. The service from everyone was very welcoming.

My son brought me to this restaurant for dinner this evening. I had the garlic prawns spaghetti. Honestly, every single bite was so incredibly delicious. Best red sauce I've had in ages. Absolute highest compliments to the Chefs. There were plenty of prawns, cooked to perfection, the pasta was perfect and the sauce to die for. Staff were friendly and helpful, atmosphere is gorgeous. I highly recommend coming here, the food was incredible, staff were extremely friendly and polite, atmosphere is great and the decor is amazing. We ordered two pasta dishes, two pizza’s, several cocktails and a tiramisu and the bill came to $250, such great value for what you get. Really delicious and authentic Italian food in the Bella Vista area. Sauces on pasta dishes were rich and creamy. Pizza was smokey and cheesy. Great service and amazing food. I could just eat a few serves of the cheesy wood fired garlic bread. The Ravioli with burnt butter and sage was beautiful, All the dishes were very good. If the food was hotter that would have been a 5 star rating. Lovely atmosphere and cocktails here too!
