Got a waffle with strawberrieson top (kept it simple, that is for sure) and paid 6,25€. Not cheap, considering that the waffle *was not freshly baked*, although I appreciated the fact that I was asked whether I wanted it toasted (which I did, and I enjoyed it), and the only ingredient I added was just...strawberries. But the taste was surprisingly nice and I am pretty sure that the ingredients used are of above-the-average quality standards. To conclude, it is a decent choice if you want to immediately (albeit temporarily, as the portion is a limiting factor here) satisfy your munchies , and the damage to your wallet is not going to be too much, since you cannot really find something cheaper in Amsterdam (unless it is complete trash). 3 stars because I believe there is great room for improvement.

We stopped by at this shop and I ordered hot chocolate. They asked if I wanted large or normal size and I said large. I was schocked and angry when they served me HOT CHOCOLATE IN A PLASTIC CUP with a straw. And the cup was already starting to melt! We took it back to counter and said why did they put it in plastic cup. They said they have no Large Mug and just put another plastic cup over it. I mean are you on your right mind!? You asked if a customer wants Large and you don't have mug and put it in plastic cup!? UNBELIEVABLE. ~This was 3years ago.

Very poor experience. Would not recommend it. Saw the display on my way to the main square and decided to give it a try. I ordered the small pancakes with chocolate sauce. Was not good. The total number of the pancakes was fine but there was no taste. Also, I was expecting them to be prepared on the spot, but it turned out the were pre-cooked and were put in the microwave oven before it was served. Therefore, not fresh. The chocolate sauce was too watery and it all stayed at the bottom of the plate. Very mild flavour. Not worth the extra €1.

Small bakery serving a plethora of sweet desserts and pastries. I ordered the mixed fruit tart and stroopwaffle latte. Both too sugary for my liking. The grapes, clementine and strawberries were coated in a syrup on a custard middle and to my surprise: a chocolate bottom. I wish it wasn’t there. Overkill. And the base was too tough to slice. They only provide disposable cutlery which isn’t even robust enough to eat with. Helpful service but the staff were arguing amongst themselves.

Great location found thanks to Google Maps. Plenty of choice from cakes, to ice cream to coffees. We opted for a few ice creams and a smoothie, with the latter made from fresh. There are about 3/4 tables at the rear of the building which do go quickly, we managed to get one of these. Price wise, very good as it is in a tourist destination. We paid €12 for everything which is a bargain in Amsterdam

Advierto a todo aquel que vaya a este local. Nos han timado, engañado, no devolviendo el cambio de dinero y cobrando de más. Al reclamarlo nos han tratado prácticamente de ladrones, se han reído de nosotros. Las dos empleadas, junto a amigos que estaban de charla en la puerta, se han reído por el mero hecho de ser españoles. Una vergüenza. Reseña negativa totalmente, en Sevilla no somos así.

Os doces são realmente maravilhosos, mas o atendimento deixa a desejar. Pedi por um crepe e me cobraram 1 euro a mais por uma cobertura extra de Nutella. O problema foi que colocaram muito pouca Nutella, sendo que o correto seria não cobrar por isso e servir a todos de maneira satisfatória e não com uma economia que na minha opinião é uma economia porca. Tem que conquistar o cliente e fazer com que o mesmo volte sempre. Uma decepção

Je commande ensuite aussi des churros, le Monsieur plus que désagréable voir impoli m'engueule et me dit que j'avais cas le dire avant. Il sert donc les clients derrière nous sans me servir moi ! Une HONTE ! Je suis partie sans rien. Le pire, c'était IMMANGEABLE !

Essen schneckt gut, natürlich durch den Zucker mit Zucker in dem Zucker ist. Das Personal ist okay, eher solala. Man wird abgefertigt. Aber das ist egal, es kommen sowieso neue Leute. Keine Preise an den super teuren Süssigkeiten. PREISE werden nach Lust und laune vergeben. Handyladegerät in den Shops ist ganz cool. Tische werden manchmal geputzt. Jedoch nicht regelmässig.

This place is a tourist trap with a wild visual identity that doesn’t know where to land. Overpriced, average and default food and drinks, and too informal service that almost feels like teens are attending you. Prices in the menu are the small size by the way, which is not the regular that they’ll bait you into buying.

Les muffins sont bons mais s'effritent trop facilement, J'ai pris un expresso imbuvable ( manque d'eau ) pourtant on a prévenu la dame , elle a répondu "c'est un expresso" Dommage je n'y remettrai plus les pieds . Sinon mes enfants ont aimé le bubble tea et les macarons. Il manque aussi des WC "dommage " Je ne déconseille pas mais je met une réserve.

My son really wanted a waffle so I got one each for us for takeaway. Payed ridiculous 18 euros for them. Took one bite of it and it went straight to the bin. Old,soft oreos on top. The waffle covered in chocolate tasted like perfume!! couldn't even taste the chocolate or waffle. Never again.

Service accueillant mais c'est le seul point positif. Les churros bien trop chers (5 pour 5 euros, 8 pour 7 euros) sont caoutchouc, comme si fait en avance et juste réchauffés. La gaufre nature également très chère pour ce que c'est (3,50€) est tout aussi caoutchouc et servie avec chantilly (supplément 1€) sans goût. Nous n'avons pas fini tellement c'était mauvais. Bref, passez votre chemin !

El local que aparece en las fotos no se corresponde con lo que es actualmente. Es más bien una cafetería con un mostrador atendido por personal bastante atento. A fondo del local disponen de tres o cuatro mesas. Los gofres están bastante ricos aunque no son baratos, 3,5 € el que no lleva nada, pero ¿hay algo barato en Ámsterdam?

Wir waren wirklich zufrieden! Die Bedienung war nett. Das Eis, der Muffin sowie die Getränke (Bubble Tea und Smoothie) waren wirklich lecker. Die Macarons waren etwas zu süß. Aber leider auch sehr viel Plastik Müll, wenn man sich reinsetzen möchte. Da wäre richtiges Geschirr und keine Plastik/ Pappgeschirr schön gewesen

Pastelería con una gran cantidad de deliciosos productos, tardarás en decidirte cuál elegir. Situado a escasos metros de la plaza Dam. Personal joven, profesional y muy amable. Al fondo hay mesas para desayunar. No dispone de baños. Lugar recomendable para desayunar o tomar un café y reponer fuerzas.

No acostumbro a perder el tiempo con este tipo de empresas, pero mejor prevenir a la gente. Compramos (digo compramos y no comimos porque dimos un bocado) un waffle en el establecimiento de plaza damm y ha sido el peor que he comido en mi vida y también el mas caro, vaya paradoja eh!

cute Italian coffee place with great pastry. the have all the classic but also cannabis infused chocolate, candy, lollipops and other sweets. the staff were really nice to us. probably because they know my sister and how wonderful she is. she'll definitely would come here

Typical place in the central square. I took my friends there to eat some waffles, I didnt reccomend it but they insisted. The staff were two kids around 20, with zero experience and my friend found a hair in her ice cream. I didnt expect anything more to be honest!

Sehr teuer, geschmacklich okay. Was mich am meisten gestört hat ist der ganze Müll, der Café wird in Coffee to Go Bechern ausgegeben und die Poffetjes im Pappteller. Dazu wird alles mit zwei Plastikgabeln serviert. Leider alles andere als Umweltfreundlich.

This is a Nice and cosy place to have coffee , ice cream of various variety. you can also order waffles or sandwiches. This shop has nice breakfast or snacks options. Shop is located in front of city palace at dam square. Staff is also nice and friendly.

Die Waffeln sehen alle toll aus, allerdings trügt der Schein. Die von uns gekaufte Oreo-Waffel, die sage und schreibe 10€ gekostet hat, hat alt und muffelig geschmeckt. Das Personal war auch sehr unhöflich. Kann von dem Laden definitiv nur abraten.

Très bonne boisson fraîche. Pas mal de choix et décoration acidulee et appétissante. Un régal pour les yeux.

Het ziet er allemaal heerlijk uit, maar je betaalt de hoofdprijs. Het gebak dat ik wilde nemen kostte € 7,50. Daar heb ik dus vriendelijk voor bedankt. Het personeel spreekt alleen Engels en er is geen toilet voor de klanten. Zeer onhandig.

The churros were terrible and overprized. It wasn’t fresh eventhough I asked. The staff was somewhat friendly but for the patries I will never go again.

Die "Ice Bakery" ist wohl so was wie ne Kette in NL. Jeder Laden ist anders, hat aber ziemlich identische Angebote. Typische Süßigkeiten und Gebäck, wie man sie in Holland bekommt. Sehr sympatisch !

Churros are not cooked fresh, left sitting in a cold tin and just quickly toasted to warm them up before serving. Tasted chewy and dry. We didn't even finish eating them.

Staff has no idea how to make a coffee. It was cold, weak and the cappuccino wasn’t even a cappuccino. Had to pay €4 for one small coffee. Don’t go there.
