I left a review detailing my negative experience with Dr.Houston’s practice, and in return Dr. Houston responded to the review revealing details of my personal medical history. Of course, he could just copy and paste his previous response and leave it on this review as well, but I believe that would be in violation of the RCDSO Privacy Code. I still fully expect Dr. Houston to respond to this review aggressively and condescendingly, or to threaten to sue me for “legal defamation” again. Judge that level of professionalism as you will. I had orthodontic work done years ago and was under the impression the work was insured. I explained this to the practice when I called earlier this year and they let me book a consultation, knowing the reason why I was visiting. Once at the consultation, I was told the work was not insured because they always give a retainer and it was my own fault for not using the retainer. When I informed them I was not given a retainer, they said they would have to look at my patient file to verify that. At that time, I asked reception for a copy of my patient file and was told I would receive one. When I followed up with them a couple months later after not hearing from them, I was told that they always place retainers and that reviewing my patient file was only to check if I had been given a retainer and not to determine if I was eligible for a new one. When I expressed, again, that I had not been given a retainer and asked for a copy of my patient file so I could reference it myself, they stopped responding and began ignoring any further attempts I made to contact them.

I moved to Houston Dental earlier this year and I couldn't be happier. Dr Tom is amazing. I thought I was happy with my dentist until I met him. He took the time to explain my issues instead of just treating me and sending me on my way. I have a clear understanding as to what I need now and why I need it. Not to mention he fixed a tooth that I was told would need a root canal in the future after being previously fixed. I've always had issues with freezing and Dr. Tom took the time to make sure I wouldn't feel any pain. His staff is also wonderful. Kind, compassionate and friendly. I have nothing but good things to say about this office. 5 star in my books.

Truly the best best dentist and team I’ve ever been too. They are so accommodating to work schedules, life and everything in between. They are always so happy to help. The girls at the front end and the hygienists are the best and their communication for appointments is top notch. Dr Houston is so wonderful with taking you through each step, and making sure you’re comfortable. The absolute best dental experience every time. I actually don’t hate going to the dentist any more. They all go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. Best team ever.

Dr Houston is an amazing Dentist!!!’I can honestly say he always takes time to ensure you make the best possible decisions for your dental care . My 11 year old daughter had been terrified of the dentist due to an experience at are old office. My Mom is 80 years old, and developed a fear of dentists as a child. She often tells me about her visits with Dr. Houston, which she looks forward to! She reports that he is gentle, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and the staff at the office are an extended family. My Mom trusts Dr. Houston implicitly, and I am so grateful for his excellent care, guidance and expertise. I couldn't imagine my Mom going anywhere else for dental care. He really is the best.

My family amd I started coming to Dr Houston about 6 years ago and he is one of the best dentists I have ever had! My kids love him, he is doing my sons braces and I’m so happy with the results! The staff members are very respectful and friendly. Michelle and Susie in the front are on the ball, the ladies in the back are fantastic. I can not love this place more!!! My family has been going to Houston Dental for 9 years now. They have handled all of our dental needs including my oldest son's braces. You would not believe the before/after pictures. The transformation was incredible. Years after they've been removed and his teeth remain perfect. If you need a dentist for you or your family try Houston Dental. They're in Burlington and about a 17 minute drive from my home in Milton.

Tom has been my dentist since the 1990s. I cannot say enough about his work. He is a technically great dentist. He is also personable, and has an amazing knowledge of his craft. And I appreciate the way he explains everything in detail, both before and after procedures. I have referred many of my medical patients to him, and have only had excellent feedback. He is the best.

Dr Tom has been a very professional and competent dentist to our family. Currently, my daughter is there every 2 weeks for braces and we are very pleased with the progress. She is enjoying seeing the changes in her smile! The staff are kind and friendly, making the visits a positive experience!

I've been coming here since I was a kid. Everyone is pleasant to deal with and Dr Houston always takes the time to explain to me what he's doing (even if I don't understand). Nothing he does is rushed and he does a really good job.
