I used homing twice during my stay in Japan and it is also one of the prime reasons why I chose to live here forever. Kudos to the CEO Tamura Hiroko and her team for their endless Omotenashi (hospitatlity) which is warm, affectionate and will make anyone wish to use Homing once again. I will rate this 10/10, and will explain why I chose to do so, compared to the other home-stay experiences I have had in Japan. Here are my top 5 reasons why Homing was the best for me - 1. Firstly, because of its uniqueness. (As far as I know there are no other private agencies specializing in homestay for foreigners ) So bonus points for the concept/idea itself. A novel idea indeed which is unprecedented 2. Secondly, because of the speedy service and communication. Ms. Hiroko Tamura is very quick with replies and does not leave any stone unturned when dealing with her guests. 3. Thirdly, Homing's commitment towards its guests is unparalleled. I have seen them pickup their guest once in the wee hours of the night (3am-4am) when the guest accidentally forgot to ride the last train back home and was stuck in Tokyo. 4. Fourth reason. The host families are all well checked and supervised closely everyday so that there is no miscommunication between you and them. They are all closely known members and therefore there hasnt been a single incident with me or anyone I know , where we wanted something (for example I know a guest who was a pure vegan and had certain religious requests) and the request wasnt met. 5. Lastly , because of the CEO Ms. Hiroko Tamura. She is the pioneer, piloting this venture driven by her love for foreign cultures and her love for her motherland as well. I have never met someone so energetic and accepting of foreign cultures in Japan, and I can bet she will be your best guide in Japan. Sorry for the long post but I think she deserves the recognition . She deserves 5 stars. She deserves to be noticed . Homing should be promoted by the Japanese government.

Staying here means you are going to have one of the warmest welcomes to Japan. I totally recommend applying for this, the private room space is great, the prices are really good and the attention in general is EXCELLENT. The whole family made me feel like i was in my home, even though i was more than 18000 km away from mine. they are lovely. Will totally reach out to them again when i comeback to japan. --------- Hospededarse aqui significa que vas a tener una de las bienvenidas mas calidas a japon que te puedas imaginar. Recomiendo totalmente aplicar. El espacio de la habitacion es genial, los precios son fabulosos y la atencion en general es EXCELENTE La familia entera me hizo sentir como si estuviera en mi propia casa, a pesar de que estaba a 18000km de la mia. He fet homestay dues vegades amb la família de Hiroko i ha sigut una experiència molt bona. És una persona que es comunica molt bé i sempre està disposada a ajudar. L'experiència vivint a la seva casa va ser autènticament japonesa, vaig poder gaudir de molt bon menjar i vam visitar llocs molt bonics a Tokyo i a Saitama. Hiroko sempre vol fer coses amb els seus hostes i això és realment meravellós, va ser una experiència genial. A més a més, també vaig trobar una família per viure-hi tres setmanes a Kamakura gràcies a Homing i l'experiència va ser molt gratificant. Des de Homing sempre es fa tot el possible per intenta-te emparellar amb una família adequada a les teves rutines i a la teva manera de ser, estic molt satisfeta perquè l'experiència va ser molt bona. Recomane 100%, no us penedireu de fer homestay amb Homing.

For my first time in Japan I decided to try a homestay and I applied to homing. This was the best experience I could have asked for! The family was really friendly and they treated me like their son! The food was great, and they also helped me to know Japanese culture more. They traveled with me, helped around with daily tasks and we went out frequently together.
