Went to HomeSense after they recently re-opened as part of Phase 1 in Ontario. After over a 2 month closure, you think there would gave been more planning on safety for reopening. First, there was definitely way too many people in the store. They were letting everyone in who was in line, with a little spacing at the front for people to grab carts. Second, there were no directions or arrows in the store and customers were walking every direction imaginable. Third, store employees were not practicing social distancing when walking by customers. Fourth, there were no sanitizing stations set up as you enter the store. Although this is not a requirement, the majority of stores are doing this to help prevent the spread of the virus. The amount of people & chaos was enough for me to walk out after 5 minutes. In addition, a large portion of customers were not even trying to practice social distancing, nor were people wearing masks. While I acknowledge that is not the stores responsibility, there are things they can do to increase safety. I will not be shopping here for a long time. As an additional side note, I walked over to Bouclair that shares a parking lot with HomeSense. They were drastically limiting the amount of people in the store (when I was in there, there were approximately 10 people total including store employees and the rest of customers were in line outside). There were hand sanitizing stations at the entrance and exit of the store. Store employees were also screening people before they came in to the store for COVID symptoms. I was happy to take my business there. HomeSense needs to step it up.

My wife and I recently moved to Stittsville (this summer) and have frequented this store many times. Usually, the staff is pleasant/helpful, the store is organized, and the deals are great! However, last night we stopped by, and I was left with a sour taste in my mouth from a rude employee. This is why I am leaving this one star review. I sat down on a chaise lounger, and this employee (older lady, short hair, glasses) promptly walked by and said in a very rude/condescending tone "Don't put your feet on there". No please or thank you when i took them off. For the record I was wearing dress shoes...and the chaise is designed for people to sit like that! Maybe she was having a rough night, maybe she hates her job/life, who knows. Anyway, something so small, I get it, but as someone who has previously worked in the service industry, I just find this type of comment unacceptable.

I always find something in this store and have always experienced helpful, courteous staff. And to respond to a negative review for this store, it is considered rude to put your feet up, with shoes on, on a piece of furniture you don't own! As a formal retail worker, we get sick of people destroying merchandise by mishandling it or making it unsellable. Perhaps this particular employee felt you needed a scolding since you clearly have no respect for an item they hope to make money from someday.

Homesense in stittsville is smaller compared to the other locations I have visited. The inventory is also small and I felt they offered less categories compared to the other stores. The staff is amazing and always help you out with your req. This location has lot of art and craft related stuff to help you get going with your creative juices, help kids and encourage them to create something using their creative ideas. I love this location for being unique.

A great store! One of the most organized home senses I have been too. Great staff as well, I recently bought a Christmas bear that was missing its hat and I was offered a discount for the missing hat. (I was purchasing the one with the missing hat opposed to the ones with hats as I wasn’t in need of the hat) the reason for 4 and not 5 is I find there to be only a handful of items however this may be due to the Christmas display.

Very rude they don’t want to help people ! I called to ask if they could look for an article for me she was rude at the beginning whereas i called 6 others homesense they found the product right away and went to ckeck the lady over there told me that she couldn’t find with the informations that i gave her pffffff BS it was sufficient for others employees in other homesense but not this one First very bad experience !

If you see something you like, buy it because it may not be there the next time you visit. Everything you need for your home plus decor, pet needs, and gift ideas! I always go before christmas to do holiday gift shopping. I have bought pillows and bedding set, picture frames, tablecloths and towels, lovely smelling hand and bar soaps. All quality items plus helpful staff in a clean store in a convenient location

Went shopping @Homesense Stittsville this morning with my dog Nova. We were greeted by the kindest employee (didn't catch the young lady's name) who went above and beyond to get Nova a couple of treats. The store was operating very well, I didn't even realize they were under renovations! This is why I am a loyal Stittsville location Homesense customer. Thanks for making our day -Joey and Nova

This spot is smaller than some homesenses..they had some things i liked...but i went in looking for certain things...like a gold mirror and more than one candle to be baught...but selection wasnt the greatest...other than that....it was clean and very friendly staff and cashier who gave me a points card...so even better....ill check it out the next time...

Love this store! They always have lovely things available. Both beautiful and practical! Their mugs and decor are the best. Wonderful quality sheets and towels at great prices. The only downside to this store, is you must grab it when you see it or it will be gone!! But they have no problem returning if you change your mind ( which you won’t )

so much to see! so much to buy! i truely love homesense, however other locations make it hard to love. this store was by FAR the best one! loved the layout and it’s very clean. great products and the prices are of course very good. if you make the trek out to Kanata for the homesense it’ll be worth it.

Shout out to one of the employees at this location, Ferry. We've been shopping from this location past few weeks and everytime we come across her she is always so helpful, kind and polite. Employees like her are so good for such businesses..

So very disappointed in the service! An item was missed priced and the store did not honor what the sticker said, the manager hardly helped. I'm a long time frequent shoper ,and will now be looking elsewhere for awhile.

I have been to many HomeSense stores in Ontario, and this is one of the best ones! My wife and I shop here frequently because there is always a great selection, friendly staff, and great holiday decor.

If you're looking for items to decorate your home, then this is the place to check out. Lots of wall art, accent pillows and other knick knacks to outfit your home. Prices are reasonable.

Great location with a good selection of items. New items come in pretty often, so it's always nice to make a weekly trip to see what's new. Staff are always friendly. Plus, dog friendly!

Nice store, sometimes prices are a bit too high. Staff is friendly… most of the time. It’s one of the smaller stores. Overall I recommend visiting this location.

Some items can be a little pricey, but worth every penny, if you want quality. Very organized and appealing display of products. Friendly and helpful staff.

Favorite place to go for anything for my home and for gifts. Also love to just browse and relax. You can’t beat the prices and the staff are lovely.

A good selection of home decor with reasonable prices but check the sale items sometime they have the same items both at the regular and sale price.
