My experience at this store began a week before Xmas 2021. I brought a soda stream unit ,one of their upmarket models. The older lady who served me was very helpful and pleasant…that’s where it ends. The unit was Xmas gift to my son and after Xmas when he went to us use it , water everywhere. He’s no fool and it’s not rocket science how to operate these appliances. He rang Soda Stream direct and they emailed him that there is a problem with these units an explained how to operate. Completely opposite to the direction supplied with unit. He tried this new procedure which is same as the base cheaper model. The model my son has is the automatic version and considerably dearer than the base model !! He took it back to this store…..Home and Gift Warehouse at Taren Point and explained and produced what Soda Stream had sent him. We thought no issue for an exchange or refund….. unfortunately we were met we a younger woman ( possibly a relative) who was very rude and refused to do any thing, saying the unit is ok. Probably the worst display of customer service I’ve seen in a while., My son took the unit back and is now unfortunately going down the FAIR TRADING path to deal with situation. Shame, the older lady was very professional.

If I need to fchoose from an excellent range of quality kitchen goods, this has been my first stop for many years, but recently, I was very impressed by their customer service regarding a faulty toaster I had purchased there two and a half years ago. It had a 3 yr warranty. When one part of toaster stopped working and triggered our safety switch, I phoned them and was advised to take it to the shop. Expecting a delay, my husband was surprised to receive a new toaster...with no effort or problems, from a very pleasant staff member. This sort of service is not always the norm these days, so big thumbs- up Home and Gift Warehouse!

Great place. Very well stocked. Definitely lower prices. What impressed me the most, though, is the staff. So attentive and helpful, showing great knowledge of their stock, attending to my queries without then exerting any pressure to buy. Also lady at the desk was so friendly and pleasant. Thoroughly recommend. A voucher for my new kitchen sent me there. So glad as it will become my regular company for such purchases in the future.

Got a frying pan there on Friday. The staff were great, they took the time to understand what I needed it for, and recommended me the best one for the job. If I just went and bought one I would not have found one that worked in the oven too. They even gave cleaning instructions and a free scourer for Teflon pans. It was an excellent shopping experience.

Great selection of homeware and cooking gadgets. Webpage is really disappointing but staff is very knowledgeable and there is sooooo much choice. Surprisingly we bought some kids umbrellas which are very unique. There is a big choice of various knives and potts and you probably spend more money than you wanted.

Huge variety of home goods and cookware and prices are very reasonable. Great for gifts; this is my mother's go-to place and I can see why. They had some standard items and then a lot that are much harder to find, including some specialty bakeware, etc. Easy to park right out the front, too.

We have found the service from this company exceptional. The staff are always willing to assist and go out of their way to do so. We find their product are of good quality and a large variety to suit most needs. We have been going there for many years.

Vast home and gift warehouse that is conveniently located with lots of parking. It offers good pricing for it products and the staff are both very helpful and knowledgeable. Absolutely recommend coming here if you are after any homeware and giftware.

Wonderful friendly service. Great prices. And they have room to actually walk around and see things! (unlike some other places where you feel like it's just owned by hoarders). First visit, but will definitely return.
