I love Hawkesbury and surroundings. It's my go-to place when I need MY TIME. I usually go to Crown Plaza and have for years, but the food is not that good anymore, unfortunately. We haven't been away in a while but decided to try out a new place in Hawkesbury. I have always been a bot cautious about moteks due to bad experiences, but the Hawkesbury race club did NOT let us down! When we walked in the foyer to go up to our room, it smelled so clean. Everything looked and smelled clean. The room was no exception!! We had a king bed and an extra bed in the room. The room was spacious,clean, and had a bath with shower..... you have to pay extra for this in many hotels.... there was a TV in the room, and to my eldest daughters' joy, the tv channels were all shown on a laminated paper. There was a kitchenette with a microwave,cuttlery, plates,glasses, and cups. We could easily stay for a week. The beds were soft, and the kids fell asleep fast and didn't move all night. We had breakfast at the motel. Lots of different cereal, coffee, bread, fruit cups, flavoured milk, and more. This is a self-serve breakfast bar. The staff were extremely nice, accommodating and great humour. The people who run the motel were there and made ud feel extremely welcome. We exchanged a few stories and had a great laugh. We are DEFINITELY going back!!!! Can't wait for summer to try out the outddor pool area!!!! Thank you for a great stay. Will definitely receive to all.

The location of the hotel was great within walking distance to Hawkesbury Races, which was wonderful for me as I used a walking stick and it was all one level from the hotel to the race course. The lady at reception apologised for a small problem we had with our room, which was fixed fairly quickly considering she was the only one on as it was after 5pm and she was busily checking customes in. We had had a great day at the races, and the problem wasn't her fault, so we went into my neices room and ate more and had a wine.

We were on a waiting list for a couple of months for a room. It appears the previous manager wasn't aware of the big event happening next door and didn't alter the pricing until it was to late. The pricing was locked in so a missed opportunity to increase the tariff. The only way they could recoup some lost profit was to hope that people canceled their booking. When that occurred, the motel increased their tariff by about 150% to the people waiting on the list. At this time, people were fairly desperate to get accommodation and payed. Legally, the motel can do this, morally, its extremely disgusting. Be warned, if there is a big event close by, watch out for this motel cashing in big time. I'd suggest staying away from this place and drive a little bit further. There are better and cheaper places a few Kms away.

Absolutely loved this place. We stayed here for a couple of days by car and being a motel was perfectly suited to that. Only a little bit out of town but that's good as you'll be away from any noise and need a good nights sleep. The new Samsung TV was super modern so played USB files with ease.. a really nice touch. Rooms looking like hotels, super nice shower, decor, even complimentary mentos which I succeeded in eating all of them throughout my stay. At this price point just couldn't hope for more - definitely delivering above that level. Only downside was waiting a little on the phone on arrival for the 24 hr. late check-in.. maybe a couple of minutes. A little concerning the person didn't pick up the first couple of tries, but just needed to be patient and the person did answer finally.

Stayed there in a family room. Room was huge and great, seperate bedroom with king bed and 2 singles and the living room/kitchen had a lounge that made a double sofa bed as well. Place was very clean. Checkin was easy. Parking is undercover. It’s conveniently located and easy to get into. You can walk to the train station and pub for a feed as well. We will definitely be back.

The rooms were beautifully made and tidy, friendly and dedicated cleaning service. I'm giving 3stars because the bar fridge in our room was faulty and stinky and they couldn't do anything about it but were eager to offer free breakfast which we didn't need... stuff went bad and had to throw them out because the fridge wasn't working... aside that, was a cool experience.

Clean and tidy. The facilities were good and the staff pleasant and helpful. Only issue was that in our room the glass door in the shower / bath combo was poorly designed or improperly fitted as there was no possible way to have a shower without water dripping down the glass and pooling on the floor right in front of the toilet. Also the floor was not levelled so that the water would flow down towards the drain. It simply pooled in front of the toilet.

This place is above all expectations. The people and staff are exceptional and will bend over backwards to make sure you are taken care of. I highly recommend this place to all. The convenience and location is great. The train station is right there and next to it is a great pup and restaurant that has a lunch special that you won't see anywhere else. This really is a great place.

Stayed to attend work conferences in Richmond. In the top suite there is no peace or quiet as noise from the interconnected door comes through. Next doors TV can be heard as can phone conversations and coughing. Also the pillows are no good. The above is extremely annoying making it hard to enjoy the suite.

4.5 stars from me. Self contained rooms with kitchenette at a very reasonable price. Comfy bed and extra pillows. Spotlessly clean. Under cover parking, fast friendly check in, and close to the Clarendon Hotel if you don't want to eat in. Great little find!

The stay at the hotel was nice and the scenery was beautiful but unfortunately after complaining to management of sleep disturbance due to noise late at night .All we got was you should have come down as were here 24 hrs this is not stated on the phone line when you call late .Most upsetting thing is all we got was no apology and paid full fees .we wont recommend this to our friends in any near future .

Nicest Motel I have ever stayed in. Our room was surprisingly spacious, even when compared with hotels I have stayed in, and we usually are looking for the best price rather than luxury. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the Continental Breakfast had a lot more variety than is usual. Definitely recommended over some more expensive local options.

Excellent. I've stayed here on at least 6 occasions and I can't fault anything. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room is fresh, modern and relaxing. I always enjoy my stay here and it's become a home away from home. On one occasion I even left my phone here and they happily sent it back to me at no charge! I can't recommend this place enough.

Charged us extra for the room for having three people although the room had three beds and they conveniently withheld that information until we checked out instead of letting us know upon arrival, as well as that the rooms towel rack broke by simply by hanging a towel on it also the heat lamp in the bath room was broken and subsequently made a very loud noise.

We stayed for two nights while doing family history research in Windsor and Richmond. The motel was ideally situated in a peaceful area between the two towns. The rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious, the reception and other staff were friendly and efficient, and the continental breakfast was excellent value. I would thoroughly recommend it.

A great place to stay for such a reasonable price the rooms were absolutely clean and comfortable. The Manager was very welcoming and helpful I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Hawkesbury. 10 it of 10

This is a hidden gem! We have so enjoyed being here for 3 nights, one of them we were working nearby. It's quiet, green gardens, lovely places to walk, and you can even watch the ponies training if you are up early enough. Short walk to the local Tavern with the best food and a huge choice. Big rooms, well appointed, secure, comfortable.

Whow. First time staying here. And we shall certainly be back. Beautiful in every way. Extremely clean spacious rooms. Friendly staff at reception couldn't do enough for you. Everything here is 100 percent first class. Can highly recommend staying here.

I was here for the travelling food festival which happened over the weekend. The atmosphere in the area are amazing, all the people we met were really welcoming. Unfortunately sometimes the area does smell but that's understandable due to the nature of the area. It didn't detract from the experience though.

Had the most amazing stay! Room was spotless, spacious and well appointed. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, and they even put the heater on for me as I was going to get in late! Amazing to deal with and very well priced. Thank you so much, I loved it there! More

To be true disability rooms they need a bathroom and kitchen with space for wheelchairs underneath basins. They need bed raisers to lift bed for the legs of hoist to go underneath for safe transfers. The rooms were clean and larger enough.

Very friendly staff and atmosphere. On a very hot day is a great place to stay inside on the soft couches with a cold drink and relax. Prices are competitive to other such establishments. It's a popular spot to go before walking over to the racecourse.

Modern motel with nice rooms and contemporary bathrooms. Beds were a little too soft for my liking but not a big deal if it’s just an overnight stay. Very reasonable rates. Very close to the station and the RAAF base.

Spacious room, reasonable price and lovely staff. Unfortunate that the continental breakfast cost $15 each for cereal and juice. I feel like that should be better advertised as the hot breakfast costs the same.

Great venue more intimate and accessible to get close up to horses. A Shame the winning post is not easy viewing. Would be great to have a higher viewing area for the winning post.
