So many gorgeous and unique gifts in this shop. However given it’s a gift shop I felt the service level was definitely not up to scratch. I purchased a gift for more than $100 yet they weren’t able to gift wrap it and didn’t even bother to take the price tag off or wipe the dust without my insisting upon. The whole process took about 15 min and the person serving couldn’t have cared less. What should have been a lovely shopping experience was actually pretty disappointing…

Hands is literally my favourite store in Sydney and one of the only stores I actually revisit and purchase from again and again. My house is now a home thanks to all the little things I have bought along the way. The team is always so lovely to me and it is so obvious that they really care about their customers.

Cute little store locates in the center of newtown right next to Tokyo lamington. They have so many cute little handmade designs from local or overseas. It’s a great place to shop if you’re looking for something unique! Bought a ring for myself and the owners are so friendly ^^ love this place! Check it out!

This is the most incredible store I’ve been to! The staff are incredibly warm and helped me to pick an amazing gift. The product selection is full of very hard to find products that I’ve been looking for so long online and the price at Hands was really reasonable. I highly recommend at least a visit!

Vibey store with lots of cute products like candles, hair accessories, glasswear and incense. Most of their products are hand made, if not at least Australian designed, but they also stock high quality brands like Kinto and Baggu. Staff are really friendly - great addition to Australia St.

Amazing little store with so much variety.. loads of unique hand made items. Really love that they have things are different price points too, makes it so easy to buy gifts. Store attendant was super helpful and friendly! Thanks so much, I’ll be back :-)

Passed this shop few times at night time, finnaly found a time to go in. They have a really unique card selection, you can certainly find a card you would need that also has personality. I got a gift for my gf, will definitely come back again!

What a wonderful shop full of super unique gifts and stuff you would want to wear or have in your own home. Everything from hot sauce to candles to the cutest clips that look like dogs. I can’t get enough. Highly recommend visiting!

Found some cute hair clips for some friends here. They have a variety of unique, quirky, and colourful things that are perfect for gifts or something for yourself. Would recommend checking it out if you’re ever in Newtown.
