I recently stayed at Grand time hotel and had an extremely disappointing experience. One of the major issues was the non-functioning elevator, which was advertised as an available amenity during my booking. Unfortunately, throughout my entire stay, the elevator was out of service, causing significant inconvenience. Not only did I have to carry my belongings up multiple flights of stairs, but what made matters worse was the complete lack of assistance from the hotel staff. Despite their claims of being helpful, nobody offered to lend a hand or provide any support. It was incredibly frustrating and tiring to navigate the stairs on my own. I would caution future guests considering this hotel to be aware of the misleading information provided about amenities. The non-functioning elevator and the hotel's indifference towards guest inconvenience are significant drawbacks that overshadow any positive aspects of the property.

First impression walking into the hotel was pleasant. The fireplace and ambiance gave a chic vibe. Front desk staffs were helpful but not particularly friendly, no smiles to greet guests. The rooms were spacious but dark and dated. The thing that bothered me the most was that the swimming pool was right beside the front reception area so everyone walking into the hotel can pop their head against the window. As well, the pool water was super murky, you can’t even see the bottom of the pool. Not sure if perhaps chemicals were added in for safety but it didn’t look good. When I asked the front reception about it, she said she doesn’t know why the water is murky. Location is good, it’s about 10-15 mins drive from downtown. There’s a huge shopping mall with an indoor amusement park (Mega Parc) right across the street, which my kids absolutely enjoyed. Costco, Winners, Walmart all nearby.

Overall nice hotel! 1) Room is small and dark but clean and comfortable. There was NO coffee machine in the room. We got joining rooms which was super great! The rooms are so hot we needed to put a/c. Was not a big issue. 2) Pool was out of service despite having called to confirm it would be operational. 3) Breakfast was part of our package, it included boiled eggs, toast, bagel, cereal, creton, with coffee, tea, and juice. It was perfectly fine for our group. 4) Customer service was fantastic. Everyone was really nice and helpful. 5) Lobby is great. We hung out with the kids and it was very accompanying. 6) There is a huge mall with rides for kids of different ages across the street. Aquarium is under 15 minutes away. I'd definitely stay again.

It was my first stay and would definitely be my last. I was not explained clearly the breakdown of the total when I kept asking for it. Then I realized that they put on some extra charges for something that I have clearly refused earlier. We were 2 adults and 3 kids in the room and they left 1 bottle of water. And then when we checkes out, they asked me if I have used the water bottle in the room. Theb they charged me 3.75$ for that bottle. They never mentioned at the checkin that the water bottle was not included in the price. However they sell small 500ml water at the reception for higher price than you could buy at the wending machine for cheaper upstairs. SO BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLES ‍♀️

We’ve stayed at the Times a few times in the past and decided to come spend a weekend. Unfortunately it was not as great as we remembered. The hotel and the rooms were nice but very dark..The hotel is starting to be outdated. The bathroom fan didn’t work and it was too hot. I do not think it was worth what we paid for. (400$/2nights) The hotel breakfast wasn’t anything special (mostly bread, bagels, cereal, fruits from a can aside from sliced oranges) The service was nice, respectful and helpful!

Stay was okay. Best part was the helpful front desk staff. Rooms were dark and dated but comfortable, though they did have an odd smell—might just be that we didn’t like the smell of the cleaning products they use. Overall was a clean place to sleep for a night. Word of warning if you’re visiting the area and looking to visit the downtown area—an Uber or taxi will run you about $50 one-way to get to your destination, so you’ll need to add about $100 to your expected evening’s expenses. We felt it was worth it, but next time we’ll probably stay closer to downtown in walking distance of the sights and restaurants.

The person at the reception was not happy to do her job, unprofessional and not caring to explain anything. I have been coming to this hotel in the past, t was pleasant, now it's not anymore. Very unpleasant and feels like a motel not a hotel. It will be the last time I come here. Review: September 7,2023. The bed sheets and pillow smell like sweat...found long hair under the sheets, and I am bald. Too expensive for the poor quality obtained.

This hotel is a rip off. We reserved a queen bed for two adults and they gave us tiny bed. I requested a Change of rooms but they said they were full, so I asked if I can get spare mattress as two of us cannot sleep there, they said they will give but will charge us. I said that is it fair as I already paid for two adults but regardless they charged me. The girls at the counter had zero courtesy or empathy. Not recommending

Bare minimum. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. The is no shampoo, TV package and Internet is not great. There is some follow spots in the hallway. Beds are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is toast, cereal and fruits. There is one slow elevator.

DO NOT BUY THE INCLUDED BREAKFAST!! 22$ A DAY FOR CEREAL AND TOASTS IS THEFT! Besides the toast there is no hot food at this hotel. The hotel itself is clean enough and is relatively well located. My advice however is save your money and stay somewhere else.

Breakfast is a scam

Pool is closed, manager didn’t want to do anything even though employees never mentioned that the pool was closed before booking. They care more about profit maximization then customer service. If you want a cheap hotel room , this is it. If you want something better with better service , choose somewhere else.

Breakfast included was really not good, might as well not include any breakfast and cut the daily rate by 20$. The girl at the front desk lacked customer service. They had no spare toothbrush, when we asked them to clean our room they said we dont do that between nights since the pandemic. News alert, the pandemic is over…

We have booked 2 rooms , both were clean and roomy. The staff is polite , free parking. The pool is small but will do the job. Is close to a mall, and restaurants. The breakfast is OK if you are not picky , I rather went to Tim Horton to grab something. I was pleased and I will return .

Presidential suite. Loved the jacuzzi in the room and swimming pool. I didn’t have time to hit the gym but got my exercice right across the street at the skating rink in the shopping mall. I like the concrete design and the abstract and impressionist art is pleasing as well. Maybe change the mattress, a lot of people sleep on the left side it seems.

Nice hotel, within walking distance to Big shopping mall. Rooms were a good size, with mini fridge. Lobby was very clean with free coffee. Bad side was A/C is very loud when it's on, also room had a bit of a stale smell to it.

Don't know how this hotel has 4 star rating. Outdated hotel, needs lots of improvement and thorough cleaning. Rooms are very dark and need new carpet. Continental breakfast was served in paper plates and it was purely a waste of money. Even 2.5 star hotel serve better breakfast.

Not a great place to stay the room was dusty and we found a spider the first day, there was no house keeping during our stay as well, we needed to go to the front desk to get new towels and toilet paper. The room was duty my asthma and sinuses where so bad during the stay. It might be a good place to stay in but not during COVID.

  • Nick Jose

Stayed here for a few days recently. Definitely not a fan. The staff is not the friendliest, the rooms smelled of smoke and the beds weren't exactly comfortable. Decided to switch from this hotel to an airbnb.

As we didn’t got our luggage at the airport, we asked toothbrush , they charge us for that , showing no compassion. Water in the room was charged too !! The breakfast was a big joke , the coffee horrible, no choice except bread wrapped in supermarket bag, quite sewer smell in room More

  • Anil Adhikari

Room was not well cleaned and it was smelly. You don't get basic shower amenities. Also, they are rude, hung up on me twice. Still holding my credit card deposit even though they said it has been released back to my card. Avoid this place all together, and you will thank me later! More

Pool water is white. (like most of the time I have been here) it is just PH unbalanced but not inviting. Breakfast is a joke but at least they don't charge (well they do but nobody checks or pays). It is a nice little one-night stay place. Service is great and coffee is free. More

Would have easily given it a 5 star review if it wasn't for the fact that the receptionist was unbelievable. I arrived and found that she was arguing with the lady in front of us that she wouldn't need 5 pool towels for 5 guests ?!!!! Then

The stay was ok. What we didn't like was you cannot open window to ventilate room. A/C was very noisy not because it was broken, but because of its type. There isn't everyday cleaning service during your stay. You can order it one day

  • Gabriel Auger

I've been there two times. So far, my first one was better than the second one. My bedroom was close to some noisy machine. Lamps are made with neon lights, which means they make a constant noise aswell.

I understand that the designer wants to create a relaxing ambiance. However, the lighting in the rooms are extremely weak. I turned on every light possible and i could barely see my food.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Don’t come here.
