I’ve eaten in lots of Thai restaurants in Sydney over the decades and this has to be the worst. The food was tasteless apart from tom yum soup. Same for fried ice cream. I left my umbrella on the night and spoke to Ed at the restaurant the following morning who said he has got it & told him I will be back to pick it up the following week. I called before coming over on rainy night on public transportation and was told there were quite a few black umbrellas but only to have found none when I got there. In short, the service is lousy and food is barely eatable.

There must have been a change of hands. Food was okay, but service was SO average. Forgot one of our dishes and then said it was our fault when we asked about it. Went to order a glass of wine, told there was no alcohol. THEN very sneakily added a $6 corkage to our bill. When we questioned it, said it was the wine we had. (We did not pay it). To get us out at the end of the night, simply turned the music up so we could no longer hear each other talking.Have been meeting here for years. Sadly wont be back.

Nice friend catch up dinner at this Thai. Starting with Tom Yum Goong(prawn), we ordered Beef salad, pineapple fried rice, and the calamari. Generous quantity made two takeaway box, which were all consumed on the same day. It was perfected with fried ice cream in the end (photo below). a bit of exercise will be needed with so much tasty food. Nice smile of the serving staff made the experience even more pleasant. will revisit.

Decent Thai in the hills with friendly service. Nice ambiance it dine in, either for an intimate meal for two or a larger gathering. They are not licensed so BYO only. Meals came out promptly and were tasty. Be brave and try some of the house specialties. Service was friendly and attentive. The decor is probably due for a clean out and refresh. Seems like the local school may have contributed to the mismatched decor.

I think this restaurant has changed hands. Used to be a regular customer and food was lovely, But last few visits it has got worse and worse. Ordered take away recently and it was the worst Thai I’ve ever had! It arrived almost cold, rice was gluggy, Beef in the massaman was tough, Green chicken curry was watery, and Pad Thai was disgusting. Like eating stale rubber bands. I’m sure it was old or pre made and heated in a microwave. Dreadful food. We will no longer be a Paton of this restaurant.

Very busy with very bad service! 7 of us tonight understood that this place was fully booked, we were patient enough to wait for our food. Within one and half hours, only 4 out of 6 entrees were served, none of the 6 main courses were served. We noticed that people picked up many takeaway orders; are you dealing as a restauranteur or running takeaway business? We decided to go home because it’s way too long. Another table complained as well; they were waiting for 2 hours. Never again!

Interior design in desperate need of update. Windows not cleaned for a long long time! Food however, no doubt best Thai food taste, quality and quantity in Hills district. Best Massaman curry I’ve ever had! (and I’ve been to Thailand multiple times). Strongly recommended for take away and casual dine in gatherings.

Nice staff, beautiful decoration, bad dishes. We went for dinner and ordered 3 dishes. The green curry was average, the waitress recommended exotic duck and it turned out as a terrible dish we took a spoon and felt awful. The duck was not fresh and the curry was tasted really bad so we left the dish untouched. The 3rd dish was the whole baramandi deep fried and it was not fresh. The salad came with it was not fresh either. Not recommend and won’t come back again.

Ordered take away for the first time. Very disappointed. Ordered satay sticks but the satay sauce served with it was such a small portion and didn't go anywhere near being enough for 4 sticks. When I spoke with them I was told you need to ask for extra sauce?!?! You would think the portions would be relative. We now have 3 sticks and no satay sauce!! The Pad Thai was average and quite dry. Always looking for a good Thai but this is not the one for us.

Today we ordered for the first time and we were very disappointed! We had ordered Pad Thai noodles with chicken and instead they gave us Pad See Ew without any chicken . They were not fresh . The other thing was a stir fry chicken in Oyster sauce , the chicken had a bad smell we couldn’t eat it . The last thing was fried rice with prawns which was Ok better than the other two dishes . The quantity was quite less too . Never going back again !

We had our Christmas dinner party at this restaurant on a Friday night. It was so nicely decorated, really festive . They did an amazing job inspite that it was so full with customers that night. We had the banquet menu - food was delicious & they accommodated the late comers. They were very good to let us take home the left-overs and still manage to serve us tea. Maybe next time we just need to hire the whole restaurant

Their quality of food has gone down. This is the second time I ordered takeout. Their Penang curry was so much water down that had no taste. They only put 5 prawns, which it was 7-8 before . I called to complain. No one answer . Also as I was waiting I noticed they have these young people working that had no gloves on and handling food with their fingers. As a customer of twenty years . I will never go or order food again.

Portions have become smaller example (masaman beef curry)I paid 2 plates worth of mains for one plate with noodles & seafood $45,(very expensive)I naturally thought the seafood came with the noodles, near the end before finishing my main meal I found a little shred a dishwasher scourer in my food, they compensated the main with one extra spoon of vanilla ice cream, I'm sorry we won't be coming back.

I booked the reservation for Valentine's Day twice, they never got back to me as said in the reservation form. I would've had a chance to book another restaurant if they had responded to me shortly and told me that it was fully booked or any other reason; I've wasted my time. Good restaurant is not judged only about the food but also the service and how they respect the customers time.

Perfect! In every way. Ordered tom yum soup just the broth, was lucky enough to get a discount due to no ingredients and as I bought off doordash they could'nt discount me unfortunately but were even kinder and put two soups in for the original price. They called to tell me the issue and how they could'nt discount me. Perfect service. And as for the food---DELICIOUS AND TASTY!!! 5 STAR

Tried Full Moon Thai tonight for the first time, delivered - ordered Pad Thai and Half Duck. It was terrible. Worst thai in castle hill. The duck wasn’t even a complete half - there were no bones or leg, just some meat and lots of skin. It also was missing the shiitake mushrooms it was advertised to contain. The pad thai was overly sweet and didn’t come with lemon. So disappointing!

the quality of food has greatly diminished since a year ago. It appeared and tasted like the Sticks out of the freezer onto the grill - tough as anything. sauce on salad just out of the " sweet chilli " bottle. No longer licenced but eager to charge 3 bucks for corkage a person as well as for the plastic containers for doggie bag we went there for years - not anymore in future.

Ordered takeaway and they got my order wrong. Only realised it was the wrong order when I got home. Went back and they were completely apologetic. They made up my order quick smart. With a few extras. Their service is excellent and their food taste awesome. They made a hungry and grumpy customer happy to come back again and again with their service. Thank you very much.

Went there for dinner for Mother’s Day. We didn’t book but they still let us in. Restaurant was really busy and they were clearly understaffed. The poor waitress was literally running around doing five different roles. Food was tasty but took a while to arrive. Despite this, the staff were very kind and apologetic for the wait. Will come back when not too busy.

I ordered the takeaway curry and they were given me a pre-made curry after heating it in the microwave. I request a refund for the following reasons. 1. When they heated in a microwave, they used a take-away box, not a microwave-safe container 2. Instead of cooking the food after ordering, they warmed up the food that had already been prepared.

Great restaurant. I am not a fan of Thai food but this place is absolutely fantastic. I loved all the dishes and it seemed to taste quite different to the Thai food I've had in the past so I'm guessing this restaurant is quite authentic Thai food becuase it was delcious and really fresh. Well done we really enjoyed eating at this place!

On this occasion I got the beef noodle soup takeaway and even by the time I got home to eat it It was still piping hot. While I was waiting and without being asked the lovely staff brought me out a much appreciated glass of ice water. All in all a brilliant experience, I look forward to dining in next time I get the chance. :)

They don't answer their phone and their online service doesn't inform them of your paid order. Place order, paid, waited 30 minutes, then went to the restaurant to be Informed it wasn't even started. Wait another 25 minutes for 1 meal... no discount, nothing.. tried again tonight, rang 4 times... no answer.... hopeless

Food was great but a bit salty (contrary to other reviews). 3 stars because the food took way too long to serve. Suspect chef was cooking table by table and also serving all dishes at once which is not preferred when service is slow.

We enjoy this restaurant. The service is delightful, the food is good and the prices are extremely reasonable. We have gone numerous times and have never seen the problems that some reviewers have raised. Its also fun to try and sample different items on the menu. The Luna Duck is lovely.

Everything here is good but from my experience don't get the massaman curry because it has a weird cinnamon taste

Really nice and authentic restaurant. I used to go here all the time however stopped going as the menu didn't change at all in the last few years which made it a bit boring and lifeless. The food was great and the atmosphere made you feel cozy and comfortable.

Food quality and taste are good, but oh god, that waitress was horrible. No manners and screaming at us when we enquired for food 45 min after ordering it. eventually received food 1 hr after ordering it. Definitely need a staff review if they want to survive.

Thai food is great. More expensive than other places, but portions are large as well. Quiet during the beginning of the week, and hence a great places to eat and chat without feeling you need to leave. The owner is very friendly and remembers loyal customers.

Honestly, this is probably the best thai place in the area for customer service and quality of food. The staff are always helpful and very polite when dining in or getting take away or delivery. Have had multiple great experiences. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff and the food was great. The papaya salad they do here is great. Generous with the servings too. They are also very friendly and happy about the fact that the restaurant is a poke stop. Would highly recommend.
