Went there for the $8 lunch takeaway special. I specifically asked for no sauce when ordering. When it was done I could see that there was sauce in there. I went back and states there was sauce in there. The cook came out and said he used only a small amount of stock in there. I said I wanted no sauce and wanted a simple dry fry and rice, that's all. He stood there and didn't even offer to replace it or refund my money when he knew I wasn't happy. I didn't want to quarrel over an $8 special so just left. Was disappointing but still might give them another chance as I won't let this affect my final judgement. Please listen to your customers instructions.

Old lady on the phone can’t even understand a person.. asked for a simple order of satay chicken and a fried rice.. she kept saying no no you get half half in one container you want the special, wouldn’t listen to a basis request.. absolutely appalling. Spoke to another mate locally right after the call and he had the same issue and when collecting the order was totally wrong and she gave him attitude then a meat head claiming to be the owner came out and also gave him attitude so he walked out without paying so the guy came after him and made threats. I think his on the juice flexing muscle.. pathetic

Chef Mikey is pure masterclass. The Satay is second to none. I tried his Red Curry tonight and was most impressed. I’ve been eating here for a good 8 years now and will forever keep coming back. When I can’t be bothered getting out of the house their presence on MenuLog is a blessing. Prawn toast, spring rolls, dim sims - all made in house and I have the mixed entree every time I’m here. If you’re in the area, support your local. 5/5 is an understatement - give Fountain Kitchen a go.

I've been ordering the $9 lunch specials the past few months. Great chicken in garlic sauce, chicken in satay sauce & sweet & sour pork, all with boiled rice. All great & tasty. They have nice steamed dim Sims & the spring rolls are awesome. The prawn toast is good as well. Nice people & great service as well

Hot and delicious. Tried this for the first time today for lunch. It was cooked fresh to order. The service was quick and friendly. It wasn't a long wait. The dishes were all hot and delicious. My personal favourite was Mongolian beef. Spring rolls were crispy on the outside and tasty inside. Fed 4 people with some left over for under $50. Will definitely be back.

Awesome food, amazing staff. This is the only Chinese food establishment I ever go to.

I’ve been going here for about a year and have enjoyed every meal I have had. The owners are always friendly and the daily specials for $9 are a bargain. I would not hesitate to tell everyone to go there and enjoy a wonderful meal

I love this Chinese restaurant! My absolute favourite is the vegetarian laksa wich comes with my favourite part, the fried tofu puffs within the sauce! I also love that they use fresh vegetables. It is so healthy and yummy! I can't wait to try other meals from their menu and find new favs :)

Service was lovely but once I got my meal home it was riddled with onions. I ordered satay chicken and I had more onions then Chicken. the Mongolian lamb was beef and I had the same thing. 1 whole container of onion and sauce. was so disappointed. I will never return. waste of money.

I took home curried chicken for lunch and found I hair in the chicken after I had already took a few mouthfuls, look it was a Short hair and I know it happens sometimes but not great for me because I like your food. Just letting you know so you will be careful in future, thanks !

I have used Fountain Kitchen now for the last 6 months and have not had a bad meal. The lunch specials are great and normal dishes are the best. Would highly recommend this restaurant to everybody.

Best chinese in my area from st marys, just so sad they closed 1 week ago due to "covid" hope they eventually re open because their $8 take away lunches are "Good"!
