We have just recently returned from an amazing 8 days trip to the Omo Valley For anyone looking for an excellent guide to this area I would highly recommend our tour operator Solomon and his company Ethio Target Tours . He was so easy to deal with in the planning stage of our trip before we even arrived in Ethiopia. Honest, friendly, flexible with his time and schedule and always quick to reply to our many questions putting us at complete ease. The trip through the Omo Valley touched our hearts. Local people are so open, friendly, curious, in times naive, but capable of sincere joy and happiness. This trip changed my vision of many things, and I am very happy about this experience. I was also able to witness the bull jumping ceremony of the Hamar people which was fascinating! He is very professional and lined up everything so we had no problems of any kind through out the trip. Their hospitality and knowledge are outstanding so I highly recommend you this supper responsible.

Now I have many beautiful pictures and memories of a magical trip to Simien Mount in Gondar, and Blue Nile Falls and Lake Tana in Bahir Dar in the north of Ethiopia, the trip was for 3 days, day and a half in Simien and full day at the lake and waterfalls, but I would recommend it to spend more than two days in Mount Simien. The trip was during November and the temperature was low, so I would recommend it in October for example or February. The trip was organized by SOLOMON and his colleagues under the name: "Ethio target tours and travel", which included traveling, meals and accommodation in a very reasonable price, in addition to that many services and generous recommendations that were very pleasant and made us feel like we have a friends. These young people you can depend on them in details and coordination your trip even in the other parts of Ethiopia.

This was an amazing experience! I organized it all through “Ethio Target Tours” and was happy with them, their drivers and guides were loads of fun! The environments you get to experience on this trip are unlike anything anywhere else in the world. The salt flats are beautiful, depression is insanely cool, and the volcano is a great experience as well (though it was quite smokey when we went so we couldn't really see any lava). We swam in hot springs, slept under the stars, and had a lot of good laughs. It's not too strenuous physically, but a moderate level of fitness will be required to really enjoy the volcano trek (in the dark, over unstable terrain). Please do listen to the guides and follow their directions, as you move through precious and fragile natural ecosystems!
