Buckle up for a whirlwind review of my Enterprise rental at Billy Bishop Toronto Airport! From July 6th to the 10th, I embarked on a journey filled with delayed flights, a last-minute arrival at the Enterprise center, and a smooth midsize rental that made exploring Canada a breeze. Upon arrival at the airport, I encountered a delay with my Porter Airlines flight, causing me to arrive at the Enterprise center right at 10pm, just as the representative was about to close. Despite the inconvenience, the rep was incredibly patient and gracious. He ensured that I had my car rental and would not be left stranded at the airport. I truly appreciated his understanding and willingness to go the extra mile. The rental car itself was a smooth midsize vehicle, which made my trip a breeze. It was reliable and comfortable, allowing me to navigate Canada with ease. The car was in excellent condition and had all the necessary features to ensure a pleasant driving experience. When it was time to return the rental, I had the pleasure of interacting with Assistant Branch Manager Justin Cummins. He was not only courteous but also went above and beyond to assist me. Upon noticing that I had been charged incorrectly and that my Expedia rate was not being honored, Justin took the time to investigate the issue thoroughly. He promptly corrected the billing problem and reimbursed my credit card for the additional charges incurred. His dedication to resolving the issue efficiently and effectively was truly commendable. Enterprise truly made my first trip to Canada one for the books. If you're seeking a rental company that combines superior customer service, sleek vehicles, and unforgettable experiences, look no further. Trust me, this is one journey you wouldn’t want to miss out on, and I would highly recommend Enterprise to anyone in need of a reliable rental car service.

Update: I've reached out to the email below as instructed by Chris, but haven't heard anything back. Dissatisfaction with the vehicle I was provided. The vehicle engine overheated 3 times which lead to me pulling over and shutting off the vehicle each time. The first time was on the side of the road 40-60 minutes into my trip, and the following times shortly after. The second time while trying to drive to Enterprise (1091 Speers Rd, Oakville, ON L6L 2X5) and 3rd time while driving to Enterprise (2071 S Service Rd W, Oakville, ON L6L 5W2) both of which didn't have spare cars for me nor had any suggestions as to what I should do, I was not able to turn back to Billy Bishop since I had prior commitments, and I would have been late. I believe the issue has to do with the air conditioning as the 3rd time I pulled over in a panic I turned off the AC, after that I started driving and the engine wasn't overheating anymore. It was extremely hot that day and driving with the windows down on the highway wasn't doable as I could not hear my GPS, so I was sweating profusely in the vehicle. While the service I received from all enterprise employees was fine, the vehicle condition was unacceptable and down right dangerous. This inconvenience has cost me a lot of time and stress. I was also worried about my safety while operating this vehicle. I was able to make it to my destination safely. However, the negligence of Enterprise could have caused engine failure, engine fire, a traffic accident, and heat exhaustion. I am very disappointed with the reliability of the car. I've tried to contact this local branch and also reach out for support online, but Enterprise has been silent.

1 star for one of the employees I spoke to at this location. So here's the story, I am new to Canada and it's been about 7-8 months for me. I have a valid license from my home country as well as an international driver's permit (IDP) which is valid for one year. I had a reservation at this location but this employee was like I can't use IDP to drive after living the country for more than 3 months. Now according to the rule you can drive a car in Canada for 90 days if you have a valid driver's license without an IDP and if you want to drive after 90 days in the country then you need an IDP. But this guy had wrong information and went on arguing on this. While other location of enterprise hadn't had any issue before letting me drive. Then the manager came in and I explained him and manager was like "don't worry about what this guy says he knows nothing" and checked my documents and was cool with it. 5 stars for manger and 1 star for the ignorant and misinformed employee.

Thanks to Justin Cummins the Asst. Branch Rental Manager for turning what could have been a bad day into an amazing day. I rented from the Billy Bishop location with a return to Etobicoke on Dundas W. The Etobicoke Dundas W. location wouldn't accept the vehicle because there was a minor ding smaller than the size a golf ball. The only way they would accept it was if they filed a claim or I pay for the small ding. I took it back to Billy Bishop and Justin was friendly and courteous. He handled the situation professionally and said that the ding was too small and I should not have been turned away at Dundas W. I never expected such attention to the customer. I thought I was going to have to pay $500 because most places are looking for a away to rip you off. I can't tell you how happy I walked out of there. Actually the entire staff at the Enterprise Billy Bishop location was extremely helpful and and very sweet.

The location to get the vehicle for a one way rental is ridiculous, I agree with the reviewers. Taking a ferry with a vehicle you're not familiar with, nerve racking! I made the reservation on kayak, which allowed me to do it with a debit card, however, this location did not accept debit cards. I was very upset and didn't know what to do. I ask the branch manager, if there was a way to work around this? What are people without a credit card suppose to do to rent a car? His reply: "They just don't rent one" Nice Kevin! In the end it all worked out, thanks to my friend, that offered to use her own credit card and me as a secondary driver. I don't know what I would of done without her. Sorry Kevin, maybe time for a refresh on customer service.

This was my first time ever renting a car and enterprise specifically at the billy bishop location was amazing. I had arrived early to pick up my car and because I arrived early and this was my first time renting the gentleman gave me a free upgrade which was so amazing as i was travelling quite a distance and the extra space was much appreciated. The car was awesome, i loved my experience with it. Upon returning the vehicle I returned it at the beginning of the day instead of the end of the day and they took that day off and charged me a day less. Overall 13/10 experience and will be using billy bishop location again.

Quite possibly the smoothest car rental experience to date. The fact that drop off is on the island makes departure so streamlined, you simply park, drop off the keys, and walk 15 steps to departures. The staff here are so friendly and helpful it’s a complete change in car rental experience. For anyone wondering, the ferry ride only takes 2 or 3 minutes, it’s faster than the tunnel walk to the old location on the mainland.

I ahve very good experiences with enterprise and its my go to rental whenever I travel. BUT this location is not up to enterprise standards on customer service and care. They managed to overcharge me on absolutely everything. And a 1 day rental of a compact went above 200usd. They basically use the fact that the customer returns after hours or has to go directly to airport and receives the bill via mail months later.

Can't say too much about the service as I was just dropping off the car. The biggest surprise for me was that the location is actually on the island !!!! I had to take a ferry to drop off the car. The worst part is there are no instructions saying that its on the island now. Kevin was our Enterprise customer service representative for check in and check out. Stellar service. Gave us our pick of premium SUV, gave clear directions on how to board the ferry and manage the toll gate where there was no fee. The fuel was cheaper than any gas station we could find and pre paid for fuel up. Car was clean and full of gas. Excellent service. Definitely recommend and will use again in the future.

Incredibly slow process. One person working there to check you in. And they have to go to the parking lot to get each car. Basically 15 minutes per customer. I waited a full hour for a car with 3 people in line in front of me.
