My wife and I are honestly so disappointed with this company and specifically this location. We had gone in to pick up a rental, after being involved in a head-on collision, on July 26th. We were given a KIA Soul and this car is a nightmare (the vehicle has no power, mediocre fuel economy - 3.5 tanks of gas in 9 days - and extremely poor visibility in the back half of the car.) We went in on July 27th and my wife told them she can't see properly out of this car and needs something smaller with less tint. They said they didnt have anything and to come back at 5 or call the next day. We opted to call, but couldn't get through any time we tried. We went to the location on the 28th and the phones were down. We asked about a car and they didn't give us a straight answer just told us to come again at 5. We came back and AGAIN no straight answer and were sent on a wild goose chase to another location only to be told they don't have anything in our class. The other location made us aware at this point that they were fobbing us off. We even asked both locations when they would have something in our class and if we could reserve it before it gets sent back out; they wouldn't even make arrangements to do that. Absolutely appalled by the lack of professionalism and customer service. They wouldn't switch our car even though it was a matter of safety and driver security. They wasted our time and money having us come back only to send us away every time. It's been incredibly frustrating and the situation still isn't resolved. Cherry on top, the car's windshield wasn't even clean when we received it, and had a huge oily smudge right where the driver looks out, completely obscuring everything at night. This whole experience has soured us on this company and we will never use Enterprise again.

I have booked a car through Enterprise website for Christmas in Sept (3 months in advance). By the time I booked the car, I have just sorted the lowest price of a car and booked for it. No one has contacted me further until Nov 30 mentioning that the online price listed was their error and either I have to pay $600 more for the same car or $300+ for a smaller car. Christmas is just less than 1 month and Enterprise has left us with no car as we cannot afford to pay extra amount on car rental. I tried to write an email to their Customer Care department on Dec 1 and after chasing for twice, there was still no one contacting me to resolve this. The department mentioned that they have forwarded the case to the manager of the store and he/she would contact me directly. At the end, since Christmas is just 2 weeks ahead and we cannot secure a car still, so we decided to cancel the trip. I thought it was a TOTAL SCAM - if it is a technical error on their end, Enterprise could have called me the next day after I book the car. I would totally accept it and look for other options as there was still time for me to check around and secure a deal that I am comfortable with. But for less than 1 month, they just informed us and asked us to pay extra to rent a car from them because it was their fault or error! I don't know how a big company like Enterprise can treat customer like this! I am very disappointed with their handling and arrangement! This is the first time I booked a car through Enterprise and I will never book through them again!

Got here and there was no one in the office at all. The phones were ringing like crazy and there were no signs indicating that anyone was gone or will be returning. After 10 minutes one of them showed up and said she'd be with me in a minute. After another 5 minutes one of her coworkers came in and helped the gentlemen who got there last and not the 3 of us waiting in line. I finally got helped after waiting for about 20 minutes and then found out that my reserved van was given to the gentleman who went before me. They still had a van for me, but they had to go clean it out which took another 5-10 mins and not until they helped other customers (understandable since there were a few of us waiting for a bit). I'm not from Ottawa and I don't know if this is how they usually operate, but having 2 employees in does not seem to be enough. Both people working there seemed very nice and helpful, but in my opinion more staff was needed. Maybe they were short a person today, but I could hear someone working in the back office that likely was a manager and probably could have supported his staff if there was an employee missing. Definitely go here if you need to rent a car, just be prepared to wait a while, even if you mad E a reservation. She did thank me for my patience at the end which was nice.

Enterprice car rentel is a great company but not this location. I rent cars very often, i will NEVER come back again. Rude store manger. He was mad because I was over charged and asked to explain my invoice to me. He did not make sense and kept on being rude so I did pay the extra charges just to get this horrible transaction and poor customer service over with, that's how bad it was. I rented a car for over 3 months, paid a lot of money so the least I would expect is decent customer service. Every time I walked in or called he was rude and acting like he's giving me a free car and doing me a favour. I tried to complain to customer but no one did anything about it. If you hate your job then just quit. I hope someone in charge could see my review. This location lost my business and I probably won't use this company again.

Had a confirmed rental weeks ago to replace my SUV. They were all rented when i got to the location. Offered a m300 which had cigarette smoke returned it. Offered a Honda civic which i refused as i could not get into it. Given a PRV 1/2 size of my suv with an engine light on. Told not to worry. My concern was that i didn’t want the car to die or break down or worse be blamed for the issue. Told they would get returns that Monday afternoon and they would call me with a comparable replacement. Never happened even thought they told me i was on a list. Not sure why they confirm a vehicle type , yet when you show up those vehicles are given away to people who just show up. Again my rental was confirmed weeks ago.

***Helpful. Will go out of their way to accommodate.*** I needed a 7-seater vehicle while my family car was being repaired. The need for a rental car was unexpected and last-minute on a Thursday before a long weekend. I needed a 3-row vehicle for a family road trip during the long weekend. There were no such vehicles available in Ottawa due to the high demand and short notice but Alex (Alessandro) went above and beyond to find the vehicle I needed at another location outside of town and brought it in, had it cleaned and ready for our family's comfort in time for the long weekend. The whole family is grateful for Alex and team's work. Thank you very. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience for my first time renting a car here. My car got in an accident and I had to rent a car. It was my frist time but everything was explaining thoroughly and they make sure that I understood everything before I had a car. I had 2 options when I came in to choose: one is Chervolet and one is Volkwagen. My rental car was so clean, nice and in perfect condition. They have 2 locations on bank street and I got lost when I returned the car, I went to different location but they still accepted it and help me have a lift to go pick up my repaired car. *Professionalism*

I was promised to get a full size car - when i got there, they told me they didn't have any and gave me a car that barely even fit my dad. Also, they don't clean their cars. Every car I've gotten from there is filthy and not taken care of. Also let me add, the owner of this garbage location responds to all the reviews on google to make it look like customer care is their priority. I emailed the e-mail he left me under my review and I got ignored. Trust me this is the worst Enterprise you will ever encounter in the city.

I was returning a replacement car from the insurance company. I had the pleause to meet Ryan and the manager Bobby. They provided me with top notch customer service even though they were extremely busy, the manager Bobby went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my rental car. The manager Bobby was professional, respectful and courteous. I cannot say enough good things as they both deserve more than 10 stars. I would definitely recommened my family and friends to rent at this location. Keep up the good work!!!

They didn't have the car I had reserved ahead of time available. Staff were accomodating and did what they could to ensure I left with a vehicle that met the needs for my family of 5 while in the area. Despite the booking issue, I would use them again. The service at pick up was good and they managed well ina difficult situation. At drop off, I was greeted with the same friendly service . Good Customer realtions is important to me and for that, I will be a repeat customer.

I had a very bad experience returning a vehicle here. All of a sudden the staff became very difficult and started repeating that Enterprise was going to "go after me" if I didn't send her emails... which I had already agreed to do. She matched inside and locked the doors... didn't even provide the business card that she had offered earlier. I'm sorry that end of shift was the earliest that I could make it in. I still deserve to be treated like you appreciate my business!

Bad customer service. We booked to rent a car on the app and when we came there was no car available. Why the system still let people make reservations while no car is available and everybody is on wait list? We asked if they can check other locations because we need to rent a car asap and they didn't bother to help. Never come back !

My car broke down so I called to rent a car. They were there within 10 minutes to pick me up. I was driving away with the rental within 25 minutes of calling. Mason and the driver were both very cool and professional. I am very impressed and will be returning to this location next time I need to rent. Thanks for being dependable!

Rented 4 cars over the past 6 months from here. Really good service and when the car I wanted was not available, they gave me a better one. They even dropped me off a little further then usual after a 2 week. Very helpful and friendly staff. Never had any issues. Highly recommended place to rent from.

Very unprofessional staff it seems like they just wanted to get rid of me to get to the next person as if it's a numbers count I did not appreciate the customer service at all this was the first negative Enterprise experience I've ever had I won't be visiting this branch again!

Bad experience with them authorizing my credit card for an extension without my permission. Took weeks to get contact by regional manager and then he never did anything to fix it. Not impressed.

First come first serve, need to be priority for this store. Anothrr person came while I was waiting for ride and driver took her first. Other than that it was an okay experience.

Staffs are unfriendly and give customers incorrect information. For example, the lady there told me that a car must be returned to the same location - which is completely false!
