Warm welcoming from all staff, friendly, polite with hospitality and service minded staff. All staff treated me equally compared to my Western partner. I appreciated that so much. That made myself feel pretty comfortable all the time while having dinner. The dinner we had were so delicious. Thus, these were reasons why we had returned again one more evening before we left Hue. Nevertheless, they were very kind offering us a free dish of fried banana pancack topped with honey as a desert for our second return. I'm very please to recommend all visitor to visit this Elegant Restaurant whenever you have a chance visiting to Hue, Vietnam. Thank you so much to all staff. The good first: service was excellent with friendly staff and the setting is pretty nice as well. However, we all (two Vietnamese and one foreigner) agreed that the food was not as good as the service. We had three different dishes and none of them tasted really like Vietnamese food. The chicken with 5 spices was more of a Chinese dish and too heavy on the 5-spice with very dry, overcooked and tasteless meat.The sauce with the beef was also quite strange and of an almost jelly-like consistence. The best dish was the squid with satay sauce. Again, I did not care for the sauce much but the squid was tender and tasty. Looking at all the other reviews, I can only assume they had a bad day. The food was not bad per se, just very uninspiring.

Pessimo in tutto! Piatti e qualità infima. Autostrada per i topi dietro il nostro tavolo. Scarafaggini nel piatto di foglie di banana con le torte (schifose) di huè. Chi ha scritto le altre recensioni con tutta evidenza non ha mai cenato in un vero locale vietnamita, che di solito si presenta male, ma in compenso offre un cibo stupendo. Pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Assolutamente da evitare. Ultimo consiglio, in vietnam fate come noi, evitate i locali recensiti da tripadvisor, perché le recensioni vengono postate da anglofoni che non capiscono nulla di cucina, i locali non usano tripadvisor, per cui guardate i ristoranti, se sono pieni di gente locale fidatevi, mangerete benissimo spendendo veramente poco!

De retour de 3 semaines de vacances fabuleuses au Viet Nam , je souhaite féliciter le personnel de ce restaurant pour son professionalisme et la qualité de ses menus. Comme dans la quasi totalité des restaurants vietnamiens, les menus sont affichés en Vietnamien et en anglais, rarement en français. Nous étions deux couples, et nos amis se sont trompés dans le choix. Ils ont commande des rouleaux de printemps au lieu des nems. Nous nous sommes adressé au serveur (Diom) ainsi qu'à son chef, qui, ont repris le plat et l'ont remplacé par des nems par ailleurs excellents, et tout celà avec le sourrire. Bravo!!!!

Outstanding food, our group of 5 had a really enjoyable evening here. We all loved our meals and drinks. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The place is very well decorated and the atmosphere is relaxing, as it's now located in a mostly residential area. This restaurant had to relocate from the city centre during the pandemic. I really hope they survive in their new location and get customers back as tourism picks back up. Highly recommended!

I was happy I stumbled onto this restaurant as I was walking back to my hotel. I was struggling to find things to eat in Vietnam as a very picky eater. I was looking for something basic but tasty and filling. I went with the baked toast w garlic and butter and spaghetty bolognese. I was very happy with my choice. The bread was so flavorful and melted in my mouth. The spaghetti was flavorful also. The service was great. They were attentive without being over bearing. The outside seating was nice in the evening with the fans blowing.

Good food and outdoor ambiance We had our first Hue meal here and liked it very much. They really want to present the dishes beautifully and you'll get small carrot dragons on your plate! Kk We had the Nem Lui (a dish that you make your own rice paper rolls), the pork and passion fruit sauce with steamed rice and also a noddle dish. The staff was helpful too and guide you how to enjoy your meals like the locals do. If it had bigger portions then I'd give it a 5 star (prices are a bit higher than the average). I recommend it all.

We are a family with 2 daughters age 11 and 7. We had dinner here twice and both times the food was perfect and the staff so friendly and smiling. They made a little flower out of a carrot. We asked them how they do it. Then the waiter came out with the chef Who showed us how to. And besides that he made a fantastik rose out of a carrot. I will highly recommend this place to everyone. PS the price also great value for money. Approximately 100.000 dong for a meal.

We had lunch here on our first day in Hue. The restaurant has a big open air seating area but we chose to eat inside as it was very hot outside at noon time. I wouldn't call this an "elegant" place :-) but it has a nice atmosphere. The food was good, the service friendly and attentive. I had the beef noodle soup and the duck in five spices. The duck came with a dragon made of 6 carrots, quite a unique presentation. Recommended, I would eat here again

Nous avons pris des nems au canard, du canard sauce passion et une spécialité de crêpe fourrée à la viande et aux crevettes avec une sauce cacahuètes (banh khoai) et c'était très bon. Ce sont des saveurs qui changent de ce qu'on peut habituellement rencontrer dans des restos de gammes de prix équivalent. Nous en avons eu pour 399 000 VND pour les plats indiqués ci-dessus et 2 verres de vin blanc (qui n'étaient malheureusement pas frais).

Jestem już 12 dni w Wietnamie i musze powiedzieć, że to było najlepsze jedzenie jakie tu jadłam. Z czystym sumieniem powiedzieć, że to było niezapomniane doświadczenie. Każdy sos smakował inaczej. Każde danie miało swoją wiodącą nutę, która podkreślała smak mięsa lub ryby. Poprostu roskosz dla podniebienia. Po stokroć polecam.

Very nice place to eat. Staff is very friendly and quick. We had Vietnamese food and desert - both was very delicious. Decoration of food was fine and portions as well. We can truly recommend this restaurant!

Vandaag met zeventien daar gaan eten. Eten is matig en saai. We vroegen 1 bordje groeten extra omdat er zeer weinig van was geserveerd, eerst werd vertelt dat alles op was, maar dan kwam er toch nog een bordje groeten, maar dit kwam dan ook extra bij de rekening....??? Sorry maar er zijn betere en goedkoper restaurants!!!

Very nice restaurant with huge open air seating area! Staff were friendly and very attentive. Food was top notch good mix of Vietnamese favorites, local favorites and Western food. Banh khoai was delicious... Prices were very reasonable for being in a tourist area. Very clean would highly recommend.

Amazing food and amazing staff. We were here 3 days in a row during our Hue visit, and we had vegan dishes. They specifically say on their menu they will try to cater to all diets and they do brilliantly. The local food is very tasty and the staff are so friendly! Recommended!

Elegant is right in the middle of the car- free section in Hue. A great vibe. We had a big group and they were very attentive. Meal sizes are big! For dessert, order the banana pancakes - they were delicious. But my favourite was the absurdly beautiful Vietnamese iced coffee!!

A casual venue with great Vietnamese food. I had the grilled pork lemongrass and rice, with seafood spring rolls, and found both dishes to be exceptional. The Vietnamese iced tea had a great flavor, too. Definitely a must try place if you are spending a little time in Hue.

Open air seating on the patio next to the not too busy street. Perfectly timed service and very tasty food at decent prices. Seems to cater to the tourist crowds but the food makes it clear they are catering authenticity. Convenient to most of the smaller tourist hotels.

맛도 형편없고, 가격 엄청 비쌉니다. 물론 한국에 비하면 저렴하지만 베트남 물가 고려시 진짜 비싸게 팔더군요. 그럼 그만한 서비스가 있냐고 생각하면 그것도 아닙니다. 정말 비추요. 고기가 맛이 일정하지않고 비리고 저기는 소금때문에 엄청 짜고 여기는 안짜고 돈 아까워서 죽는 줄 알았네요. 쓸대 없는 방식보다 기본 맛에 좀더 충실하고 가격을 많이 내리는데 좋다고 생각합니다. 음료 포함 200,000동... 얼탱이없어서 진짜... 지나가는 길 랍스터가 1kg 130,000동이던데...

Le restaurant est bien situé, au coeur du quartier dynamique de Hue. Lors de mon passage le restaurant etait un peu vide ce qui rend l'endroit (trop) calme. Le service est attentionné mais les prix sont un peu élevée. La cuisine reste bonne et le lieu est tres agréable.

Место, которое действительно стоит посетить. Очень вкусно, красивая подача, большое порции (прям реально одна на двоих) и обслуживание отличное! Рекомендую! Если просто быстро забежать поесть или посидеть с компанией вечером. Есть зал на улице и внутри помещения.

The restaurant is clean and the staff were very attentive, however the food didn't have much flavour and I think had been quite westernised. I would recommend trying somewhere off this main strip of restaurants because they all seem to be serving similar food.

Not sure why this place is called The Elegant Restaurant! It was not elegant but the food was very tasty Vietnamese cuisine. The Combo options were particularly good value. The place had a good buzz to it and the service was certainly efficient and friendly.

Amazing food and the presentation is out of his world!! It’s good art and so decently priced, the staff are kind and the restaurant is clean. An extensive food and drink menu, you can’t go wrong with this place I’d recommend to anyone!

Food was below average and the place is designed for tourists. We had the set menu for 250.000 dong which is very expensive and most of the food was too sweet. The chicken was a bit dry as was the duck. Don't come here.

Good food - it caters to tourists but they’ll give you extra chilli if you like it hot :) The staff are lovely and service is good. We even got a dragon as part of our meal decoration, lots of attention to detail.

This is a cool place, with big open windows, nice people working. They cared about where we were coming from. We had a pleasent dinners, good food and good service. Prices are ok for the food we eated.
