My name is Nellie, 82 years old, with very limited knowledge in computers and the ever evolving technology of today. My feedback is based on my personal experience and the feedback I received from many loyal and grateful patrons of Idylwylde library. The knowledge and the confidence I have today in using the computers is because of Blith, Alex, Lenka, Stephanie, Deanne, Brenda ( retired), Janice, Taryn. No words can ever describe how much all these staff members contributed in educating me how to use the computer and the modern printer. They have been showing respect, patience, empathy and understanding how vulnerable and helpless I am and I need not only self confidence but courage. They have been helping me in such a way that blind can see, deaf can hear with their understanding. I do apologize at this point , I did not mention the names of some more talented, skilled library staff on duty at this library provided me with excellent customer service in the past, I always remember the help/service received with gratitude, unfortunately, I cannot recall the names of all helpers who helped me in the past and now. I wish all these library staff the best in 2023 and years to follow. I also wish the best to the new manager who took the office this year. This library offers many other beneficial library services to young moms, dads, disabled, new immigrants. The sky is the limit.

Love the library. Small but it is accessible by train. Also close to other businesses. There is free parking on site. Library has varieties of educational materials. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are many programs that can be accessed by various age groups. Additionally, the Library has a live bus time display screen to keep commuters Informed about their bus times.

Went in to replace my library card, the person at the front desk was so friendly, and made the process super easy. I'm glad I can borrow some books now ☺ Update 2022: Stopped by today to grab a couple books. Glad to see the staff here are just as wonderful as ever . Still one of my favourite libraries in the city despite its small size. Thanks EPL ❤️

Lovely library, always has a great selection of books. The staff are very helpful and kind, and the shelves are well organized. There's a cool fish tank near the kid's section that is worth checking out if you stop in. The programs they run are very useful - I took one on investment literacy a few years ago and I have never regretted it.

Out of all the libraries in the city I've been to in the past decade, I found them to be the most helpful and the friendliest. I went to replace my lost card and to print off some work papers, I had not one but two librarians help me navigate the printer. I definitely will be coming back to this one! …

I love my Idylwild Library. The staff are like family. It is so great for me to place holds online and pick them up when they come in. I'm a heavy user, and the staff is always willing to find a way for me to hang on to my books when a trip I take interferes with a due date.

Very pleasant experience the customer support ladies were very friendly an knowledgeable. Helped me with everything I needed, I'll be quick to recommend this location to friends an look forward to doing business there in the future.

Nice place to visit. The atmosphere was calm and positive and the management was very helpful. The day i entered first time in this library i was impressed with the cleanliness and positivity

Have been visiting the place since I was a kid. I'll always love it, its great. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly, the atmosphere is calm, and the selection of books is good.

New to Alberta....very helpful friendly staff. Clean, organized and designed very nicely. Plus, all the app's and perks that are available are great and simple to use. Awesome place!

what a nasty library. So many native aboriginal peddlers smoking and rude in library. no good for nothing people ; what a shame on our social economic system in canada.

Super helpful staff. A very good place to get books that are French. Excellent place to have a break in our week. The kids section and the staff picks are always great!

Friendly staff and decent selection if books. Anything they don't have you can reserve online. They also have great activities during the week and on the weekends.

A decent library with a decent amount of material in both books and video/audio. Quiet with many tables to read at. And a decent number of computers to go online.

The most charming staff in any library. I loved all the baby and me classes and just having access to such a great place. Thank you for being our librarians!

Loud. Workers talk very loud. I thought library's were supposed to be quiet?? Trying to study and so distracted by two librarians yapping.

I like library's for books and movies to borrow, and also for free internet service, and one of the most friendlies places to go too.

Amazing staff , lots of copies of really cool games which are actually in really good condition. This is definitely my new library

They’ve got a great fish tank that both my 1 and 3 year old kids love.
