This is my go to bookshop to buy from!! Especially since my daughter gets all her books from here! Neat and organised shop along with a wide range of books. But when I went to get a book for my daughter, they didn’t have it in stock even if there website said it was in stock. Then I asked for some books written by the same author and just to see the section. Turns out they didn’t have any of her books in stock but I did come out with another book. Overall, nothings perfect and Dymocks is still an amazing bookshop! Would definitely recommend it to book lovers!!!!!

I came in today shortly after opening time (9:30) and was looking for either some Massimo Pigliucci books or any Little Black Penguin Classics. Unfortunately the store didn’t have any but that was okay, it’s a smaller store so best to keep in mind it will have a smaller inventory than say the George St Dymocks. I carried on looking for a book and came upon Thoreau’s Walden so I ended up getting that. I just wanted to say thank you to Susan who was tending the register today. She was lovely and very helpful. I love coming here to pick up new reads! The trainee who served me today (I wish I remembered her name) was absolutely phenomenal and helped me find a sapphic book after struggling for some time to find one! Not only am I confident in her recommendation, but I’ll be returning soon to get more from her. Amazing customer service, fabulous knowledge of product. 10/10 Dymocks, thank you for making me feel safe (and having an LGBTQ+ section!)

Very helpful and personable younger man was able to direct me to exactly what l needed to find. The bookshop itself is extremely navigable, with a lot of interesting items other than books ie an excellent card selection, plus a great place to hunt for a present.

Great Dymocks store, bigger than a lot of other ones ive been to and also included lots of gifts and stationary items too. Selection of books in stock was impressive and picked up a few good titles from here.

Very good bookstore, many mature and good educated books. Lovely. Just no Anime, comics or short stories. Good for all ages. Organised. Many other things as well. As expensive as QBD

Well lit store with more products than just books. Great layout with easy to read signs to direct you to the section you need
