We had a wonderful first visit at the clinic! Roxy, my Pomeranian was so comfortable with the staff! We just moved to Kingston from Toronto and we're looking for a new local vet. The prices were reasonable, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Dr. Size is a wonderful doctor. Update: I have since left this clinic and are now seeing a new Veterinarian at a different clinic. We absolutely loved Dr.Size, however she is no longer with this clinic. My dog became sick and I brought her into the clinic where we did blood work. We found out that her liver enzymes were very high and was urged to have an ultrasound done. Unfortunately, the cost of the ultrasound alone was quoted to be $2000 through their partnered vet clinic. I was advised that my only options were 1. Pay $2000 for the ultrasound or 2. Treat the symptoms and hope for the best. Of course I panicked and started calling around to see if anywhere else offers ultrasound. To my surprise I was able to find 3 clinics in Kingston who could provide this service for a fraction of the cost, and all less than $800. I brought my dog to a vet my mother recommend for a second opinion and did the ultrasound for $500. When I advised him Downtown Animal Hospital quoted me $2000 he appeared agitated and said "That's absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable". Needless to say he is our new Veterinarian. He was able to diagnose and treat my dog for quarter of the cost. Blood work, medication, and specialized food's for her treatment were all at least 50% less cost that this clinic provided. Our experience with Downtown Animal Hospital was great, but you guys got way too greedy when we needed you the most.

I had an unfortunate and sudden fatal illness with a new puppy in October. I was devasted and having a very difficult time making the hard choices. Personal finances had been exceeded on my first visit that day. We took her home with meds and pain killers hoping that she would bounce back but the poor puppy cried in both mine and my wife's arms as we shared trying to console her and make the pain go away. The pain for Lucy and for both us of kept increasing so we made a second visit to Princess Animal Hospital. Once the Dr completed his exam and evaluated our emotional state, he proceeded with extreme empathy and kindness while he explained that our pup required euthanasia and it was not our fault, nor would it be financially effective for us to fight to save her life. Knowing how the first visit hurt us ffinancially and i can only assume by my obvious emotional despair, he informed us that should we agree with his assessment, we would not be charged for the second visit, the euthenasia or the body removal and cremation. We were able to survive that awful day with out added stress and without experiencing the nightmarish feeling of not being able to stop the pain merely because of a lack of cash. Having experienced the panic associated with that, i can say the Dr earned my respect and my business for as long as he can take us. This week we brought our new pup in for his first shots, deworming and flea/tick treatment. We were happy with the treatment Cooper received and are looking forward to a long relationship I recomend Princess Animal hospital for all our family, friends and to anyone that values an honest vet/pet relationship .

Took my dog to the vet here with the following symptoms: Itchiness, pustule, crusted skin, small raised lesions, loss of hair, and dried discharge in affected area. The told us it must be a food allergy and there's nothing they could do about it. Turns out, through taking him elsewhere, that a very simple cell sample ($40) was able to tell us that he, in fact, has a fungal infection on his skin (pyroderma). They charged us $90 for the visit and told us, basically, to deal with it. Took the same dog back to this clinic with a small mass on his leg. Our options, we were told, were to: - Test the mass to see if it was a tumor for $400 (F.N.A. TEST ACTUAL COST: $40) - Biopsy the mass for over - $2000 - Biopsy plus tumor removal - $3000 - Remove the leg because the mass would be too difficult to remove. We ended up going to another clinic that was able to remove the mass for $400 and sent the mass for testing for only $200. Can't rate 0/5.. but I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone. Sure, they're kind and they're clean and welcoming... But they'll ram you with their pricing because they know that most people aren't comfortable with price comparisons when it comes to their animals. What's really messed up is that, not only was their pricing on the procedures marked up 200% from other places, but the pricing also included unnecessary testing such as urine tests and several types of blood testing which they, during the meeting, told us wouldn't be necessary and would not provide us any additional results above those that would be found by testing the biopsied or removed mass. Double-dipping isn't cool.

Normally I go to the Princess location but we were booked here to see Dr. Lang, who is my cats usual doctor. We had a really rough drive down there when my cat had an awful accident in the car due to severe anxiety. As soon as we pulled him out of the carrier, the two techs on staff immediately rushed to our assistance, getting cleaning materials and taking him back to be cleaned up. When he was all cleaned up we were put in a room so he could calm down while we waited for His examination. This staff has always been absolutely amazing, no matter what location we are scheduled at. So professional and caring. Dr. Lang is great at keeping Cheeto calm during his exams when he is usually pretty terrified and uncomfortable around people. Cheeto was very traumatized from the drive up so we were worried he would be very scared but he calmed down when Dr. Lang came into the room. He is very thorough and offers all possible solutions there are. He never pushes treatment or medication which can be overwhelming. He is honest and very sweet. If you are a new pet owner, or simply looking for a new vet, I highly recommend this office or the Princess location. Every member of the staff is absolutely incredible and it is very affordable compared to other animal hospitals.

Horrible, stay away from, they are just horrible money grabbers, the 3 vets here work at the Princess animal hospital as well and that’s the location that I actually went to. I went in knowing what was wrong with my dog and I just wanted a simple blood test to confirm it so I could get her on medication, Robyn Buchwald upsold me into getting blood tests we didn’t need just to “make sure” it wasn’t also this other disease as well. A disease that less than 1% of dogs that present at clinics have, which I discovered after I went home and had a chance to look into it. I then found out the next day, when all the bloodwork came back (which I paid $800 for) that it didn’t include the test that I had wanted done and was given the impression we were doing, that the thyroid test they did was just more of a general test to indicate where her levels were, not whether she had a thyroid problem or not. I needed to pay another $300 for that, but I was told not to worry I didn’t need to bring my dog back to draw more blood because they still had enough blood left over to run this test as long as I was willing to spend another $300. Horrible horrible.

The staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care about both of our pets. Our dog LOVES visiting every time we go and even our cat is not afraid of being there which is great because he does tend to be extremely shy and reclusive especially when out of our home. When we had to look into a more costly procedure for our cat DAH/PAH had the lowest price and best attitude towards us. We chose to have the procedure done there and we were very pleased as they provided thorough care of our cat, allowed us to come visit him, and gave us frequent regular updates while he was not able to be at home. When we have had concerns (not even serious ones) we have been able to be seen within 24 hours at one office location or another. The offices are also very quiet, clean, and tidy every time we visit. The work that the Vet Techs do in the offices is above and beyond our experience with other Veterinary offices that we've visited in Kingston, you can tell they love their jobs. We have been going to Downtown Animal Hospital since it opened and we feel confident in our choice to continue to have our pets cared for by the knowledgeable staff there.

Nice, clean clinic with friendly and seemingly knowledgeable staff - but I couldn't help but feel like I was being upsold or paying a premium price for everything. Suggest you shop around unless you're happy to pay any amount for vet services. My cat broke a tooth. Swelling and redness at the lip and gum, but normal behaviour. After consultation, I felt obligated to buy antibiotics (OK) and painkillers (upsold) because the cat was 'in a lot of pain'- meanwhile the cat is playfully rolling around on the floor. Quoted $3000 for tooth extraction surgery and other necessary procedures/fees, with no optional items to bring the price down. Got a follow-up voicemail a few days later after reconsideration for a ~$2300 bare-bones option. Took the cat to another clinic north of town, and although we had to wait a couple weeks, extraction was completed for $1000 and I do not feel the quality of care was sacrificed at all. Shop around.

Highly recommend Dr. Sean Lang! Very impressed with Dr. Lang for taking care of Daisy Mae (my very sweet bunny) who was going through GI Statis. I called a couple of vets (including our regular vet), but they wouldn't see her until the following week, 4 days away. I called Downtown Animal Hospital (recommended from D&J Woolf) and was given an appt the same day. Dr. Lang was very patient with Daisy. He trimmed her nails (by donation) and did a thorough exam. He answered my million questions and didn't make me feel silly for asking them. Dr. Lang even called me on the weekend to check on Daisy. Happy to report she was feeling better the next day and back to her normal self within two days. She is now doing bunny binkies all over the house! Thank you Dr. Lang, Daisy Mae will see you again for a check-up in the future. Also, thanks to Megan (Vet Tech) who assisted Dr. Lang and made Daisy even more comfortable!

We rarely use a vet. However, when we do we know exactly where we're headed. Dr.Caulde and his team have been incredible with our x- large breed dogs. L is a big goof ball who is afraid of his own shadow most days, yet he is always excited to go visit either of this vet's locations. S is a big suck who knows how to get as many cookies as possible from the staff. Even after an excited puppy peeps the vet techs lap, the staff acted like it was all in a days work. Yesterday, for a simple donation to the charity they support, both dogs had their nails clipped and not one whine out of either of them. Best $10 I had spent after a long month of craziness. The staff are always prepared with answers to questions, and know when to ask the vet on call to answer. Emails are usually answers within a few hours. If I could bring this team with me for every out of city trip, I so would. You'll never find a better vet.

I've only had my dog for one year, almost to the date. I chose the Downtown Animal Hospital due to how convenient their location is, walking distance from my house. The cost is affordable, and for those who it isn't affordable for, they do their best to accommodate. With two clinics in the city, the services and hours they offer are extremely flexible, from nail trims*by donations* to boarding, I've even had assistance giving my dog her pills. My dog has a few medical conditions, they have late hours which makes emergency problems way less scary. The entire team at PAH and DAH have made my first year of being a pet owner a dream. I appreciate everything Dr Caudle, Dr Jeff, Dr Lang, Dr Oulette, and all their amazing techs have done for us. In my opinion, I think any other vet would have suggested euthanasia long ago, but Dr Caudle has given Naya a chance to live her best pug life. I'm forever grateful!

  • Ingenuity Labs

My brother took his dog to the Princess animal hospital, so when I got my dog I did the same. Then a few years ago I had to move out of that locations area. It happened to be the same time Downtown animal hospital started. I was so happy to still be able to walk my dog to the vet. Smudge recently had an injury, and I was impress how fast they got her in. They took care of her right away and worked with me to create a plan of care. I also like that the two locations have such talented, knowledgeable vets and they are able to consult with one another to come up with the best treatment options. I know there are less expensive vets in town but I don't believe they have the state of the art care that Downtown Animal Hospital can provide. My dog is my family and she deserves the best.

Had my dog Sass there on Tues Mar 12, 2019 for a Free First Check-Up and update Rabies shots. I received Sass on Feb 14, 2019 after owner passed away suddenly, and I was trusted with her care. Found out soon that Sass does not like the vet. She is a 9yo Black Lab that just loves meeting people, but white coats scare her i think. Took 15mins just to get her on the scale to weigh her. Jasmine the vet tech and Dr. Lang were both really helpful and patient and explained everything well. Left with ear drops and a plan of attack for diet to help loose some weight. We have some follow up appts that I'm sure Sass will not look forward too, but I would recommend to anybody. > Sass says she would like a drive thru door and just treat and check her in backseat of car..ha ha.

  • William Davidson

i wouldn't even give them a star if that was optional, this clinic lies to people to get them in the door then tries to charge exorbitant amounts of money.! i only went their as they stated to me on the phone that they could provide a surgery for my animal at a cheaper price then what i was quoted from my original vet . after the appointment, then then quoted me a price that was almost 600 over what i was originally quoted. and wanted to charge me 300 for booster shots and an initial check up. absolutely disgusted with them and they should be ashamed of taking advantage of people when their animals is in a time of need.! do not go there they will milk you for every penny and dry out your bank account due to the love of your animal.!

  • Tamara D

Highly Reccommend this animal hospital!!! they are hands down the best vet I have taken my cat too. (She hates vets because of her expirence with Frontenac)...But as soon as she went in there, they were comforting her, gentle and talking to her till the moment we left. My cat has never been easy with vets, we usually have to take her out of her carrier and be the ones to hold her (mentioning she is a wild cat, main coon), We didn't this time! She was perfectly content with them. It was such an amazing feeling , and still is to know you can bring your animal to a veterinarian hospital and feel comfortable knowing they are too. Thank you guys so much for your help, and for your huge hearts! 5 Stars for sure.

I have been going to another vet for five years, I listen to what they were saying and also info from my coworker and my pup was missing shots and a few other issues weren't taken care of. After having a bit of crying I looked up downtown animal hospital and the young lady on the phone was so friendly she went over their services and I made an appointment. I had one this week and I was nervous as soon as I entered and when I walked I was smiling and relaxed. His health team is great friendly.. spent plenty of time with us.. went over a guide line on what we can do and he also got the shots plus one I didn't know about..So I highly recommend the animal hospital.

Once again we needed to have our precious canine child, Katie, examined after she somehow injured her left leg last evening. She was still in discomfort in the morning so I called PAH at noon and they were able to see Kate at 12:30. It appeared to be pulled muscles and she was given a steroid injection and a few day supply of the med to see if the leg settles down. It's 5:30 pm and she seems much better already. The quality of care, attention and compassion are always consistent no matter whether you go to PAH or the Downtown Animal hospital. We are truly grateful to have such amazing veterinary care for our Katie. Many thanks! Tom, Lori and Kate

  • Lydia Ackley

I was impressed by the attentiveness and reassuring knowledge that Dr. Lang and staff showed Pretzel and myself being new to them. Seeing that we had never been to this hospital before and on telephone referral they took us right in I was relieved knowing that Pretzel was given proper medication as she was facing a tough medical situation. They worked out well both medically and financially giving me options. They did follow up with a phone call, and then email. I normally do not like email. Since i lose them, and do not know how to save them When reading about the other vets there I did notice that none of them specialize in feline care.

  • Martha Gray

Usually this is a great place to go for THREE of our families’ pets but today’s experience left me frustrated at how their poor service can actually be. Sending a simple order to the wrong Bayridge clinic location instead of the clinic it is meant for, promising with profuse apologies it would be there this week when they reopened at the downtown clinic but not calling, not actually following through and then acting like they had no idea about it until cued. Then not calling the person who is picking it up when specifically asked to, all spells incompetence. Will it be there tomorrow? I’m betting on no. Poor. Do better.

  • Alex Ploughman

My Fiancee and I brought our dog and cat here for over a year, and we highly recommend this clinic. Very friendly staff, excellent level of care, and they are very open about pricing and took plenty of time to explain to us what each shot/pill/procedure was for and what it consisted of. We recently moved 20+ hours away, and after being spoiled by how great Downtown Animal Hospital is, we are going to have a tough time finding a new vet that is up to their standards. Big thanks to Dr. Size, Dr. Lang, and all the excellent techs at this location. Chipotle and Caesar were lucky to have you all :)

  • Dawn Flicker

I recently took my kitty to Downtown Animal Hospital and I can't sing their praises loud enough. They were really nice, and patient with Skipper, and took time to give him little treats, and toys. We saw Dr. Lang, and you can tell he really cares about animals, and was genuinely concerned about our little guys health. We also received a follow up call/email to check up on how he was doing. After years of going to a vet that made me feel like the bottom line was all they cared about , its refreshing and comforting to know that Downtown Animal Hospital puts animals first.

  • Sarah Barcier

I'd never taken Tiger to the vets before until yesterday. Dr.Lang was just great with him. He and Carole were very helpful at giving me options and what the best form of treatment for Tiger was. The weighed him and told me for his health he needs to lose weight. I love that they treat each and ever pet like they were their own pets. Tiger and i have found our vet and will go to no one else. Dr. Lang is our vet now. Thanks for being so helpful and not pushing tests or things on me when i was on a stricked budget and giving me the option to have it done at a later date.

  • Megan M.

I've had a consistent number of fabulous experiences with Princess/Downtown Animal Hospital -- at both locations. The reception staff are always so warm and inviting on the phone, and both Dr. Caudle and Dr. Lang have been excellent with our rabbits. It's so difficult to find a rabbit-savvy vet, and I'm really happy to know I have two to turn to in the event of an emergency. The clinic is clean, appointments start on time, and no one pressures you into services or products you aren't comfortable with. Definitely a recommended vet clinic here in Kingston!

  • Marin Beck

Great experience - staff were kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. They put my dog and me at ease immediately by being friendly and welcoming. Dr. Caudle made my dog feel comfortable and safe during his exam - I really appreciated both the vet & vet tech getting down on the floor at my dog's level to make him feel okay about being locked in a little room with strangers! Also upfront about pricing and possible treatment plans (giving me the option to choose what was best for my family & dog). Will definitely be returning - thank you!

We live in Kingston, but when we got our dog as a puppy 6 years ago we took him to the Bath village vet. When they closed down we took him to Downtown animal hospital- and made them our primary vet. Our pupper gets along really well with the staff( nail clips are no easy task). When we had to rush him in they got us in so quickly without an appointment. As for price, I know it varies by vet, but if this practice costs more I havn't seen much difference. They take great care of Pasqualli, and they deserve all the praise they get.

  • Cat H

Our first visit with our three animals (2 dogs, 1 cat) even during pandemic times, was wonderful. Ever since our move from QC to ON, the staff at PAH/DAH have been helpful with all my emailed questions trying to set up new files. Dr. Greenwood spent a lot of time over the phone discussing each pet's visit, and was very reassuring. Megan, VT was amazing with our animals as well, and everyone was so friendly. We are very happy that we chose this vet practice as our new one now that we've settled in Kingston. Thank you so much!

  • Joshua S

We absolutely love the care we have received from Downtown Animal Hospital. Dr. Caudle is wonderful and every staff person is so friendly and helpful. They are easily reachable at the clinic and stay in touch via email. They always follow up to see how we are doing after seeing them. We love the location and walk to our appointments. We also needed emergency care and were able to access care at the Princess Animal Hosptial location. Dr. Latimer and Dr. Ouellet were amazing. Highly recommend this team for you and your pet!

  • Kate Gollogly

My boyfriend and I had a very, very sick kitty cat, he hadn't eaten anything substantial in over a week and only a small amount of water. This animal hospital was able to see him and help him by giving him a shot to gain his appetite back, and keep the food down. He was given prescriptions to go home with, and within a couple of days was eating and drinking water regularly. I was very impressed with the two follow up phone calls the hospital made to see how my boy was doing. Thanks for helping my Pixel-boy eat again.

  • Alex Haagaard

Brought my dog in to have her nails clipped last week. She's very anxious and had a bad experience when she panicked during a nail trim at her old vet, so I was worried how it was going to go. But the techs who worked with her were really gentle and patient, and got the job done with as little stress for her as possible, then sent her home with a bandanna and some liver treats! Really appreciated their patience with her, and feeling more confident that we'll be able to keep her nails under control from now on.

  • Ira Decyk

I was absolutely astonished with the service I received. I found myself in a difficult position after adopting a kitten from a litter that was to be tossed aside by the owner. The Downtown Animal Hospital treated the kitten, and gave me the information I needed to be a successful and responsible pet owner. Kate, my new best friend, is now sitting on my lap purring away after a long day of playing. I will definitely return to the Downtown Animal Hospital for all our veterinary appointments.

  • Serena Welsh

Our appointment was at 9 am which is when they open up. We got there about 13 minutes early and when we got inside, they already knew my cat's name, and they were ready to see him almost 15 minutes before they opened! Both the VA and VT we saw were awesome - they were patient with my nervous boy and got him some treatment to fix him up. We were in and out before our appointment time even started! Fantastic team and responded to emails very quickly and with detail. Thank you guys SO much!

  • Lisa Varrette

I love this place. They have taken amazing care of all of my furbabies. I started with them with my ferret Pocket, and then my two kittens ha e been well taken care of by the team. Recently my puppy Ruby came to meet Dr Buchwold and Gabby who wee so good with her as they always are. The entire team is amazing. Dr Buchwold and Dr Caudle have been so good to me. Dr Deslauriers was so compassionate when Pocket passed away. They are just a really amazing team here.

  • Elyse Gerson

I had a really lovely experience here. I was so nervous to take my cat to the vet after recently having a traumatic experience at another clinic, but all the staff were great with me and super sweet with my cat. The exam room was nicely set up. The vet explained all tests and procedures to me clearly and made sure my questions were answered. They even sent June home with a new toy! I’ll be making them my regular vet from now on. Thanks again.

  • Big Danny T

DAH saw my Ragdoll cat right away during an emergency when my vet declined to see her. It was a tremendous relief for me. The vet was very professional and through. She consulted with her colleagues before deciding on an expensive but necessary set of x-rays and got back to me the next day with the all-clear. I think they have a lot of depth of expertise in this practice and it's great to know that they are there if I ever need them again.

  • Melanie Frazier

We took our kittens in for their first checkup and shots and were so pleased with how kind and professional the staff were. Dr. Greenwood was very friendly and explained treatment and costs in detail over the phone and I was surprised and happy to get a follow-up phone call the next day, asking how the kittens were faring. We felt really welcomed by everyone we spoke to during the whole process. Very happy with Downtown Animal Hospital.

  • Maria X

First vet clinic I had after adopting my first cat. I received exceptional service from both the receptionist staff and veterinarians on the two occasions I visited (one for follow-up vaccinations and one for a health concern/medical problem). Now that I have moved to a new city, I cannot help but miss the friendly and professional service I once received from DAH back in Kingston. The contrast cannot be overstated

  • Jordan Kokocinski

Nothing but good experiences here. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Even amidst the COVID-19 situation, staff were accommodating and safe. My cat was brought inside by the vet for examination, and subsequent discussion and advice were given over the phone. Payment was done over the phone as well. We have brought pet cats and rats here in the past and have always been met with smiling faces and enthusiasm.

  • Kate Co

My dog Smudge had to go in during Covid 19 and they were so safe and still made me feel like I had personal service. They came out to my care in the pouring rain, took my dog then called to confirm the procedure. They returned her to me with a positive happy attitude. They brought the machine out to me to pay by tap, so i didn’t have to go close and kept our distance. Great Job DT!

  • Carl Beaupre

Staff were very helpful answering questions and concerns about costs. First exam was free with certificate from website, and all treatment options were explained in detail along with a cost breakdown. I did not feel pressured in any way, and ultimately very happy with the way both myself and my cat were treated. Highly recommend this vet clinic, and location is perfect for me.

  • Shiny Li

Love Downtown Animal Hospital so much <3 !! Everyone staff is so nice and professional! As a new kitten *mom* I got many awesome advices ranging from literally every aspects from them :) Dr. Lang and Dr.Fitzgerald are always always being super helpful to both me and my kitten Quincey :) 200% recommended! (and I got free first exam free by using the coupon on the website! )

  • Tori Sharpe

We started going here in April when we got our puppy and are very satisfied with the service even throughout the pandemic. Rebecca Greenwood is our vet and did a very great job with our dogs spaying surgery, she has healed well and you can't even see the scar now. Would recommend to anyone! All of the staff I have encountered have been great my dog Millie loves the vet!

  • Kendra

BEWARE! Over priced and money hungry. I went in for an emergency visit with my dog and I felt like I was over sold a lot of things that were not necessary. I felt as if I was taken advantage of due to my fragile state by Dr. Latimer. They do not consider the well being of your pet, they see dollar signs in their eyes. You will end up paying 75% more than any other vet.

  • Margaret Barsi

All staff is very friendly and efficient. Robyn was very patient with Zeus (17 years old), it was stress free for him. She took time to speak with me about any concerns I may have. She noticed a slight "noise" while examining his heart, took the time to have the vet that works in that area to check him. Always a good experience as you can feel how much they care .

  • Alexandra Dupuis

We had an excellent first experience at Downtown Animal Hospital. Both the vet, and vet tech were so kind and caring. We spent the entire appointment sitting on the floor playing with, and petting my puppy. They were also very patient and took the time to answer a long list of questions that I had. I would strongly recommend Downtown Animal Hospital!

  • Jenna Fowler

My pup required urgent care yesterday and DAH and PAH got me an appointment right away. All the staff that I interacted with were calm and kind, and my pup got the care he needed in the most effective way. I am grateful for their customer service and their skillset. To say the least, I am beyond satisfied. Thank you for saving my doggo PAH & DAH!!

  • Lydia Stevens-Ackley

Downtown Animal Hospital is available 7days a week. Although a bit pricier to me it is worth it for the comfort of having them there for my pet The thoroughness compassion and the time they take to make sure that I fully understand and participate in the wellness of Pretzel my cat reinforces a partnership and friendship for all involved.

  • Nathan Rose

All of the staff at this clinic are really friendly and welcoming. It was easy to transition from our previous vet, and the staff is really thorough with all of our concerns and questions. Our dog likes her visits so much that she actually pulls us in the direction of the office while on her walks. Overall super happy with this clinic!

  • Mabel Madariaga

I don't have enough words to explain how great the staff in this clinic is. They did explain everything from top to bottom (even more as I am inexperienced) making sure all was clear. They do care and love your furry family member. Very friendly and acceptable price. I 100% recomend them! My Lola couldn't be in better hands …

  • No alias

I paid my whole odsp money for them and they did nothing but hold a stethoscope to her heart than say i should gie ger urine sample..thats not my job. Im not a vet ....my cat contonues to suffer because they do nothing for over 500$ im going to bring her in for fleas smx id toh guys charge me without doing anything its going to court

  • Jim

I am very very impressed with the staff. I went in and made some appointments and they were so friendly. They answered all my questions and made me feel completely welcome and so happy i came to them. Katherine, Jasmine, and Megan are amazing!!! I look forward to my future visits. I know my new kitten will be in good hands.

  • Alex Kerr

Dr. Lang was very caring with my dog and patient and gentle when handling him. He listened to everything I had to say, and explained things to me properly so I'd understand, which I loved. Also, the RVT we had, Paige, was so sweet and helpful on our visit. My dog is definitely in spectacular hands in this clinic!!! :)

We couldn’t be happier with the genuine care and commitment provided to our dog Rolo by Dr. Lang and the amazing techs at Downtown Animal Hospital. We really appreciate everything; from the follow up calls and warm greetings to the excellent care given. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Highly recommend!

I recently took my kitty to the Downtown Animal Hospital and I was so nervous since it was my cats first visit.. But they were amazing! So friendly and genuine, they were honest and helpful and I didn't feel like they were rushing us out to get to the next client. I'm happy to call them my Vet.

  • Kim Danylchuk

the vets at this clinic are very down to earth kind hearted and were amazing in detail with telling me what was wrong with my cat. they were so gentle and amazing I with my cat doo-doo I couldn't imagine going to any other vet now. So thank you to the vets at the downtown animal hospital!

As always, our appointment the other day was a 5 star visit! Dr. Latimer and staff make it seem like they have all the time in the world for my cat, Rala, and me. I can't even imagine getting through some of the challenges we've had in the last 4 years without these beautiful people...

  • Rhonda Brady

It's always hard putting your pet's best interest/health in the hands of someone else, especially someone you don't know, but I was very pleased with the service we received. We were given options, not told how we MUST do things and they aren't in it for JUST the money, they care!

  • Rebecca Coupland

I switched to the Downtown Animal Hospital when it opened because it was within walking distance of my home, and because of disappointments with other vets, and I'm so happy I did. Everyone knows me and my pets by name, and the care and follow-up are fantastic. Highly recommended!

  • Mary Amodeo

I recently took my cat in for her rabies vaccine and received excellent service. The staff was very friendly and the vet was so easy to talk to and got excellent explanations and advice. I will be taking my other cat in as well and will be staying with them for my cats’ needs.

  • Diana Turner-Oke

I was so impressed by all the extra details that were put into making my pet feel more comfortable when he wasn't feeling well. It was also appreciated that the Dr. called the next day to see how he was doing. A very thoughtful clinic that I would recommend to any pet owner.

Princess Animal Hospital Staff and Dr. C are very good to Mindy. I wouldn't take her anywhere else! One year later, 2 dental surgeries later, Mindy is as healthy as a horse...a 12 lb. horse lol. Sorry to see Dr. Size leave and Mindy and I wish her all the best.

I have been to PAH/DAH multiple times for my rats, and have never once been disappointed with the treatment from all staff at both locations! Everybody is incredibly kind, empathetic, professional, straightforward, with your fur baby’s best interests in mind.

  • Sarah Gordon

The Vet technicians and staff at this location have been amazing with the Foster Kitty Raven (adopted from KHS New Year’s Eve 2020). Can’t give them that 5th star yet because they’re not technically my vets yet, but would trust them with any cat/dog …

The team was able to get me in same day to get my labs ears checked when I thought she might have an infection. Dr. Garcia was kind, talked about our options for treatment and also prevention once it's cleared up. Thanks to Meg as well for your kindness!

  • Laura Davis

I have called many times asking for pet advice and anyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They always expressed so much compassion, especially when my guinea pig passed away. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

  • Lori McLeod

I have a scaredy cat. It can take as much as 1/2 hour to get her in her carrier. Once we are there, everyone is fantastic with her. Going in for a nail clip is at most 10 minutes and gone. They all care for my Lucy as much as I do.

  • Sam

Great people! Caring and Concerned for our puppy Wicket wanting to make sure she is in the best of health, Very honest and understanding, I would recommend them to anyone in need of a vet! Keep up the great work guys!!!

The staff is very professional and caring. I always get a cat toy when I have his shots done. The fee for clipping cat nails goes to a charity

They were amazing to my pup! He genuinely loves seeing their place when we walk there, his tail wags as soon as we turn the corner and see it.
