I enjoyed the several workshops held at this place pre-Covid. I think it’s about time they hold more again, esp those that involve gardening and arts and crafts. The Center looks worn and old although I heard they had a minor refurbishment a while back. It would do with brighter lighting and atmosphere, as it is gloomy when there’s nothing going, and the cafe should have more menu selections.

Booked the Annex room for a Baby shower event. Booking online was a breeze. The room is spacious for around 20 or so. The air conditioning is great. Bathroom is good. The kitchen and counter was really useful. The only two drawbacks according to me was that it there on the first floor with no lifts and the community center WiFi does not have range to cover the Annex room.

This place has been closed for past 2 yrs during covid. I'm just trying to get help to do my tax return before it's too late, but now it's too late. They could take or return my calls to give me some advice. I'm sure with everyone working from home all year that would not be that hard but apparently it is.

Everyone at the Dougherty Community Centre are always willing to assist with all the venue and catering needs. It is always a pleasure working with them.

There was a crazy woman feeding the resident bin chicken today. If you see her please ask her to stop because rats clean up the uneaten scraps

First visit to the ukulele class. The reception guy was helpful on my entry any exit. Need to get there early if parking onsite is needed.

Great resource for the community... especially for older people. The local U3A (Education for older people) is a thriving group.

One of the widest parking lots in Chatswood. Would be nice if they can create a u turn bay towards the end of the thoroughfare.

Parking difficult as only two disability spaces, unless you go to Westfield. Rooms were rather cold at the meeting I went to.

Good place to have club meetings with plenty of rooms to hire. It has been refurbished and looks modern inside.

Lovely staff, particularly the maintenance man and behind the scenes organisers. Made you feel very welcome

I hope they never renovate and preserve the 1980s architecture and setout.
