Dropped by the Home Hardware in Carp a few weeks ago to get some pressed wood (or is it MDF?) cut into shelves and to buy some more pressed wood for shelves. The service was great and available. Julio knew exactly what I needed and made the process seamless and effortless. I didn’t have to roam around aimlessly looking for someone to help me, like I have to in Home Depot! The store was the quaint and had a lot of character. Cooper the cat and Julio’s hat added to the character. It made the visit to Carp all that more memorable!

I went to Deka last evening to buy a couple of cans of paint and a few other things. The young man I dealt with was extremely helpful. I needed to match a paint sample. He matched it perfectly as well as took his time to explain to me the difference between the different bases. He helped me find the other items on my list. The staff also helped me to the cash and the car with my items. Super friendly, super knowledgeable, and super helpful.

Very convenient if you live in the surrounding area. Some things are more expensive than competitors but nothing beats being able to run over and buy what you need in 5 minutes. Staff are always helpful and the selection is reasonable. Have rented tools, purchased lumber, and ad hoc hardware over the past 10 years from this location. Never had a bad experience and staff are always available to provide input on your project.

My husband and I both love the personal service we receive every time we go. Especially if Julio (sp.)? sees or hears us asking where something is… that is the kind of service that keeps us coming back. Mark was very helpful too with a bbq part I needed for the messhall. One of the female associates made sure I found the right Niger seed too, and she wasn’t the one helping me, she just overheard. Love it ! Thanks

I've been shopping at DEKA Home Hardware (Building Center) in Carp for over 30-years. They epitomize old-fashioned small town customer service. The staff are highly knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and will go out of their way to help you. They deliver excellence in customer service. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

I've been dealing with Deka for a few years now, just as great today as when I first started going! The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help fing things, even if they don't have it. The lumber yard is always stocked and delivery is easy to book!

I have been buying lumber and various other necessary items for Home Improvement from this place for quite some time . The prices are reasonable the staff is knowledgeable and it's not so big that you have to wait and long lines

For a month landscaping nearby i was always happy to keep going back, the professional and friendly service was exceptional. Shout out to Mattea, Tom and Ben for being certified beauties. Joy is a gem as well. God bless!
