Unable to contact customer service directly. Apparently there is meant to be contact info on the bottom of the page, but they haven’t made it easy. Absolutely disgusted with Marks behaviour and the way he spoke to us. He had no idea what was going on and very rudely interrupted the cashier that was serving us saying I have already helped you and answered your question. When I tried to explain he repeated himself and cut us off. My family is visiting from overseas and is unaware of the system here. Mark without questioning just jumped in and was extremely rude. Absolutely unacceptable to speak to customers the way he spoke to us and the look on his face. As if he was disciplining a child. Mark needs to be taught how to speak civilly and kindly to customers.

I am generally happy to do shopping in this shop. However I sense there is an element of racial discrimination amongst a few staff here. For instance today I did shopping. A middle aged woman who served me at a counter did not respond to my 'Hello' in the beginning. I did not do anything wrong. Just bought two bottles of wine, paid by card and said 'Thank you.' She did not respond to it , either. She did not say a word to me. Her attitude towards the next customer (a Caucasian gentleman) was totally different from mine. What wrong with me seems to be a colour of skin which I could not do anything to change. This wasn't unfortunately the first time for me to come across a similar treatment I experienced in this shop.

I'm 40 years old, and the security guard stopped me for an ID check on the way in. And he wasn't pleasant about it. He then proceeded to follow me around about 1 meter away from me the whole time and watched me like a hawk, until it got too much and I decided to leave. I mentioned this to the staff person on my way out, so I hope they address this intimidating behaviour by security. I went to LiquorLand on the same floor just up a bit, and had no issues. Such a shame, my local Dan Murphy's in Alexandria is awesome, including security.

Like most Dan Murphys the pricing is good, but on todays visit the staff were really helpful. We were purchasing for a large upcoming event so requested specific quantities of certain products, and a staff member tracked down every bottle they had onsite of our desired champagne when it looked like they might not had enough. Very helpful and much appreciated. I also like their noted recommendations on products, and the online review system is great. Made it a quick easy visit

Froth me some Dan Murphy's. If anyone knows a better place to buy a good selection of alcohol let me know ASAP. Hahaha absolutely awesome selection of wine. Great spirits selection and as always I love me some beer. If you are after budget wine fine wine. Cheap whiskey to throw down the hatch or something fine and smooth then this is probably the place for. Or maybe you over somebody at case of beer. Come here for good prices and a good selection. Changing my review from a 5 star to 3 star because of a horrendous experience I had in store. Generally the staff is very helpful but today one of the staff told me that a product I was looking for doesnt exist and when I showed him the same product coming up as available in store on the website, instead of apologising he bluntly said that we don't stock it and walked away.... This isn't what I expected from my Dan Murphys store for sure.

Extremely poor customer service - an elderly Caucasian lady who served me did not acknowledge me at all - the transaction was completely silent & she didn't even look at me while attending to my red wine bottles. If she was a mute then I would understand but it was probably because I am Asian. She had no problem welcoming other people (Caucasian). Good to know the manager is hiring unqualified staff with racist behaviour.

Horrible customer service by some of the staff who blatantly have issues with a range of customers, including the disabled. Don’t expect to be treated with any manners or even a little respect. What you get is sarcastic, smart mouthed teenager or bps who doesn’t give a toss about your patronage & certainly doesn’t mind letting you wait while they decide to take your sale or totally ignore you!

I find this store a bit understaffed. But it is a large store and plenty of options. Good variety of single malts and a very large collection of Vodka. Usually not crowded and well located. Except for nearby Aldi store and sells wines cheaper, this store has no good competition nearby. Before buying anything at Liquorland in Coles , check prices at this as DM is always cheaper.

This is a very large shop located on ground level of Westfield Hornsby. There's almost every type of product. The staff is very helpful. If you have a membership then you can receive special discount on some products. If you know what you want to buy and know the product location then a quick visit should do otherwise you might have to spend time in discovering.

Today I seen a whisky tasting bar. I walked past it 4 times around around 7pm waiting to be offered a taste. This never occurred, I guess they didn’t like my dress sense. This week I have spent over $700 on scotch alone including a talisker 25. I could of made it $1000 yet I was not ever acknowledged today! Bad service, poor form to say the least

MASSIVE RANGE!! Dan Murphys in Hornsby Westfield the place to go if your after something in particular, including a wide range of international drinks. I even managed to find some English ales from my local brewery back home in England! Good prices, and plenty of staff who will always offer assistance. Overall, a Tip top bottle shop.

A good place to buy booze. Has good very good offers for the members. Has a very good collection of whiskies. I will suggest to go for it every other time The wine collection looks great as well . Wines of diff taste and price across all the world . Friendly staff ... You can also just go and roam around ... Pretty cool place

My favourite gf beer was in good supply as usual - O'Brien's lager which is an excellent, real tasting Australian beer made in Qld. They also stock the cloudy (all O'Brien's beers are gf but don't let that put you off). I also bought Mercury hard ciders on special for members - Tasmanian cider. Efficient service as usual.

Dan Murphy's is the go to outlet for grog in Hornsby. Park on the bottom level of Westfield and you can wheel a trolley full straight to the car. A good DMs store a lot smaller than many others such as my local Dan Murphy's in North Ryde however a great selection of fine wines. Staff were very friendly and helpful hunting down a bottle of Grant Burge Shadrach Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 that was on members special but not in stock at their store.

Large store with wide range of liquor inside the Westfield shopping centre. Staff are nice and friendly and prices are competitive. They have a policy on matching any competitors prices. Its a good place to explore different kind of drinks and they offer members discount if you sign up for free.

Bought some wine which was off a week ago, I mean really funky. Pinot Gris but with an overwhelming taste of Camembert. Anyway mind chap simply looked up my cell# (member) and provided full refund, how kind. However was saddened to hear they no longer stock Whale beer for Port Stephens.

For the first time in 5 years had to show Photo ID despite being a regular & producing Dan Murphy membership card on my phone. But the lady with dreadlock in the counter insisted anyone could show membership card & she needed to see my ID. And the funniest thing is I am 28.

There is a lady customer with kinda dreadlock hair she is very rude, she reacts with customer as if they are criminals? Today she pointed 2 customer with her two fingers which was very rude how can even such a big company hires such mannerless staffs? Very disappointing

Has a good rang at Reasonable prices. Offers click and collect which is good if you know exactely what you want. Staffing levels vary so its hard to say which time is best for assistance but there is usually someone who can offer some good advice on items to buy.

Honestly, the last store in my mind to shop for the liquors I need to do a classic cocktail drink. Yet, it is here where I was able to find everything I need! Delighted to have visited the shop and will now make this my top shop for liquor buys.

I took my elderly mother to Dan Murphy hornsby recently as it was busy . A lovely worker by the name of Trinel was very helpful .She helped my mother get in and out of her wheechair and pay. Great service.

It's hard to beet the prices and variety on display at Dan Muphies. Staff are pleasent and helpful, and the wine tastings are always fun. Parking is ample. Wheelchair accessible.

It has a wide range of wines and alcohol. My husband always looks for specials as they are worth buying. My children always give him a gift voucher on birthdays and Christmas.

The security guy who stands inside the store near the whisky aisle always looks at me as if he is going to shoot me down if I touch something ;) otherwise it’s a great store.

It might be a corporate giant that competes against mom n pop places but it cannot be denied - Dan Murphy's is the best bottleshop in the Hornsby area. Enough said.

The recent introduction of a 'bouncer/security guard' inside the store has created an unwelcome and unpleasant experience when he rudely demands 'papers please'.

They sell exotic wines, beers and alcoholic mixers. There are several options of Japanese sake available and plenty of cheap wines suitable for cooking risotto.
