It’s really disappointing when staff take their own initiative to use covid as an excuse to mask their laziness and lack of customer service..I arrived at 1.00pm and stood at the entrance as the sign instructed me to ..there were only two customers in the branch and one was being attended to ..I was acknowledged 20mins later and the attendee seemed frustrated by my interruption..I was asked to state the purpose of my visit and leave my name and phone number and they would call me when it was my turn..I was not allowed to wait at the branch even though the quota for the maximum amount of customers was not reached..and I was advised to hang around the shopping centre until they called me ..mmm..20 minutes later I arrived at CBA at westpoint Blacktown and within ten minutes I was attended to and my transaction dealt with amidst warm and friendly staff no leaving of phone nos and no promised call backs 55 mins later I was back home and I still did not get the phone call that was promised to me ..makes me wonder how long I’d still be hanging around and waiting

I have attended stanhope com bank multiple times everytime I’m in the branch my eyes are looking out for Sandhya as I have a very good experience with her. Shff we is very humble and thorough, she looks after me very professionally also she takes care of other customers infront of me . Even thought she is very helpful to me in every way . She never puts me before the queue as she looks after all her customers with high quality of professional care and service . I personally like to see her and work my issues out with Sandhya all the time. I find a very responsive on the spot . I highly recommend everyone to see her if they go to stanhope comm bank , she is awesome . Most important her treatment and custome service is 100 percent. Coming in and I was offered a seat. I declined the offer because of my back condition. A lady came out on her way out for lunch, I guess, similarly offered a seat. I said I'm OK. After 5 minutes or so, another lady came out offered the same and said 'Won't be long.' and went it to a secured door. Another senior lady came out to help another staff who is assisting a customer about his loan. She offered the seat as well and said 'Somebody will be with you shortly.' So this is like the 10th minute. So 2 staff members in 1 customer. So I asked is there anyone coming out for another customer? So the senior lady said 'Somebody will be with you shortly.' No one is coming out. I was only after a Statement of Account and also a customer - a new one! Can one of them come out to ask another staff inside to look after another customer in queue? So I left and forget about asking for the SOA Terrible customer service!!!

5/7/22 at 3pm Our interaction with the manager at this bank location, plus the greeter, was completely inappropriate and an example of how NOT to treat your customers. We were in a tight bind and despite this they were rude, inconsiderate and unhelpful. I would strongly advise that they undergo training on how to properly deal with customers and on basic customer service skills as I would not expect this from a manager in one of the big 4 Banks. Considering we hold a large loan with this bank, this is not a way to treat your customers. Ultimately, the provided no useful assistance and we had to come up with a solution ourselves… We would be happy to provide further detail on this interaction. Not coming back to this branch again!

Purnima Luthra is amazing banker from standhope gadern,she knows very well about her career, and she treats to customers very very well, today I did a/c open for my 2 daughters, omg she helps a lot ignoring about the time, we were arrived at 3:10, she did register for us there 3persons inftont of our line, when our turn there 3:15 pm already, she is very very patient and very quick to open a/c without any mistake,even 9 months experience, and ignore about the time, very care for the customer when we finished there was 4:55 pm already. I had a very good experience with Stanhope branch service. A special thank to Payal, their branch manager. No wait time. I had a login issue and reached to out to Payal pretty late almost their closing time. But she was kind enough to take my case and got it resolved even though she had to sit extra time for that. Another exceeding delivery from her was getting our smsf account open in no time, though there were some system errors in our application but she got them all resolved in 2 days which otherwise could have taken a week or more. Thanks snd kudos to her

My experience with this branch is very good. Approached the bank to open an account for a newly formed incorporated association. Sandhiya Pathik was very experienced and knew the products and processes to open such an account very well. She has helped us with opening the account seamlessly with clear communication on what to expect at each phase of the application. She has taken all the efforts to reduce the overall time in the bank for us during the visit. She has also explained us about steps we have to follow for future changes regarding the account.

Service was terrible, Went into the branch today to see if I could open an account to be able to save money for an upcoming trip. First interaction the women wasn't able to help me claiming that she was new and wasn't sure so would get her manager. After waiting around 10 minutes a women came to "assist" saying that I could only open a long term deposit account but needed minimum 5k to open one or a goal saver which I already had , the second women told me that she was too busy today and couldn't assist me at all and was nothing she could do.

Hopeless branch, very poor customer service, 1. I had to wait for 1 Hour to in the queue to be served and I went with all the docs(birth certificate + Passport) for the 3 time to open my kids account 2. When I was at the counter to be served, the person serving me was least interest and like very lazy in the work with constantly finding /giving excuses not to do the work. After 30 -45 min of argument I was told "you have open the account on your own we can only identify the documents". I will never go this branch. period.

What an experience! In one word - Fantastic. After reading lot of negative reviews about this branch I was hesitant but had no option as this one is the closest branch from my place. I took an appointment. My wife and I visited this branch to open an account related to self manage fund which is very lengthy process. We were looked after by Payal on that day and she helped us out very thoroughly. Never received this sort of service in any other bank or branch so far. Thanks very much Payal for your help.

If you are going to make everyone wait for an hour to do any banking task, Why can't you have an alternate appointment making system so people can come to the branch at the time of their appointment. None of the branches pick up the phone If the only way to receive mandatory banking services is to wait over 1 hour every time, might as well close down more branches and make people wait few more hours, The treatment is appalling. It seems, it is only the bank's and banker's time that is important.

Exceptional customer service. I went to CBA Stanhope last week to open a new account for my friend who just landed in work visa. The lady who attended us (Payal) was greeted and told there was a long waiting at the moment. She gave us a time slot after an hour and attended us at the scheduled time. She was friendly, polite and explained everything in detail and make sure that my friend downloaded the mobile banking app and activated. I can recommend anyone in this branch especially Payal.

Stanhope Gardens such a small branch but so busy. Been waiting for one hour but very impressed with Katrina’s service. I can see she running around and tried to help customers. I appreciate that she valued my time and she went beyound. She fully resolved my enquire and also checked all my accounts and make sure everything is in the best way possible. No one explained me that much before. Katrina is polite and kind. I felt valued and grateful. Cba needs more staffs like her!

Staff are rude and unhelpful. Never going into this branch again! Waiting over 90 minutes for a "call back" only to be told they can't help me today and I'd have to come back tomorrow because the branch is closing for the day. Lazy staff, very poor customer service. I've had enough of being treated like my time is not valuable by rude, condescending staff who are on a power trip. Close this branch down asap, they are useless. Not a real bank branch, just a glorified ATM.

Customer service was good especially Mrs Payal Darji guided us and helped us to open bank account. We waited for long time approx 30-35 minute for our turn but it was worth waiting as Payal Darji helped us and gave us genuine information about the account. 2 years ago, the service was fantastic. However, now the general attitude is that they don’t want to welcome you, they dont want to work. Since Ive been with CBA for many many years, I went in to open 3 more accounts at stanhope. The attitude of both the people who served me was why are you asking us to do so much work. I left to go to blacktown westpoint branch.

Today I have visited Commonwealth bank in Stanhope garden branch and I deal with Payal Darji. She helped me opening my personal loan and made me satisfied. She is very good in customer service how to deal and make customer satisfy. I was having difficulties online on personel loan. She helped me to make one and also reduce interest rate on home loan.

Sandhiya, Payal and branch manager Hasib were wonderful in assisting me with setting up power of attorney for a family member. Something that initially felt incredibly daunting became very easy with the compassion, patience and guidance from the Stanhope Gardens team. Commonwealth bank Stanhope gardens branch is most accommodating, professional, proficient bank in these neighbourhoods. I have never encountered a bank that totally helps as well as understands their customers needs. The manager Hasib and Anushka go over and above and Understanding situation and help us is ABSOLUTELY the best team.

Very bad service at this branch, it looked like others have experienced the same. I arrive at the branch at 2.30pm and was told by an old grumpy woman that they are closing the branch with no reason provided even when closing time is 4pm. At the time there was only 2 people at the branch…. Just plain lazy staff at the branch…

This would have to be the least efficient CBA branch I've ever visited. They have a few ATMs that appears can be accessible when the bank is closed. But there is ONE teller in the corner of the branch. The line is long and super slow. I waited 15mins due to slow processing times.

This is what happens when bank reduces staff numbers. I just went to change a pin number on my credit card, but the young lady said I would be number 11 in the list. That equates to over an hour of wait time. This could easily be avoided with only one extra staff member on duty.

Had great experience overall, good customer service and reasonable waiting time. Esp. Ms. Payal gave excellent guidance on home loans and getting new credit card. I can feel confident and satisfied moving forward as she provided a through information to make better decision.

Went to get some cash and none of the ATMs had any cash left. This is not the first time I have seen this. Many times either ATMs would have some issue or won't have cash. Bank staff is also not very helpful and bit rude.

Couldn't provide correct, basic info re getting a keycard for a children's account twice now. On top of that staff seem to think they are exempt from mask protocols and laugh when you call them out on it.

Worst customer service ever, tried to deposit cheques to the teller after long time wait and was told to use ATM. Other CBA branch never asked this things. One of banker was very arrogant and rude.

How is this a branch? It was just a glorified ATM location with staff. No teller to withdraw an exact denomination of cash at all. Useless.
