I originally came here because they update their times on medimap and I saw that they consistently had short wait times. I loved the doctor I saw the first time, and have been back twice since. However, the receptionist ruins the experience and the way that the clinic runs makes it impossible to give this place a good rating. Their times listed are absolutely inaccurate. For example I was there today at 8:50am expecting the clinic to open at 9am. On the door they have no times posted, only online. The clinic finally opened at 9:30am. I walked in and the receptionist said they were not open for walk-ins as no doctors would be in today. I asked why that was not at least posted on the door, she replied "there's nothing I can do". I told her that she could post something, even a piece of paper on the door with that information, or update their voicemail (of which they have none) Well at this point I've taken the day off work, I still need to see a doctor, and all of the clinics are at least an hour wait time. I highly recommend staying away from this place.

Walked in to this clinic several months ago after seeing a doctor elsewhere (that told me I had a bad cold and prescribed me cough syrup with codeine). I was sick for weeks and couldn't breathe and was staying up all night with a rattle in my chest. Walked in to this clinic, was seen right away with no wait time at all, and explained my situation to the doctor. She didn't say much, which at first I thought was off-putting, but I quickly realised she was doing her job properly and professionally. She assessed me, told me I had bronchitis and that I had gotten much worse since the other Dr. at another clinic had misdiagnosed my symptoms. She quickly prescribed me some antibiotics and an inhaler to help clear my chest. I felt better within a couple of days. If not for her I fear I may have gotten much worse. 10/10 would recommend this clinic, as the staff are competent and understanding. They aren't customer service representatives, they are health-care professionals, and that's what I want when I see a doctor.

Terrible experience. I walked in with a requisition. All I needed was a self-administered swab tube. Receptionist said they couldn’t fit me in with a doctor. I don’t need a doctor, I repeated several times. I just needed a tube for a self-administered test. They said I needed a requisition. I already have a requisition. They take it, grab a tube for me. Tell me I can’t use their bathroom to do the self test, I would have to go somewhere else. I literally walk to the walk-in clinic next door who were more than happy to let me use their washroom to complete the test. I go to drop off the tube at LifeLabs, only to find they have given me the wrong tube. Great. EDIT: In response to the reply - new and training is one thing, but this receptionist was dismissive and patronizing. I had a simple request, and she made the interaction frustrating and I left in disbelief, unsure of what I had done to make her so angry with me.

Not what you would expect from a doctor, I was 3 times to this place and all of the there times was a complete disappointment. They did not bother explaining what should be done, they never ordered the important analysis that should be done until I went back there and further more when the analysis came back they never bothered to call and when I went there the doctor spent 1 min to give me the result with absolutely zero explanation except, you are good, you need some Vitamin D. WOW I went to the pharmacist next door to get the vitamins and the pharmacist explained 1000% better than this doctor. I felt much more comfortable talking g to the pharmacist than this doctors. If you have choice and if you are there for important reason other than mild headaches or something not very serious than please please find somewhere else. they are a joke

Reception was very poor. Over the phone once, and again in person when I began our conversation an asked "Hello, how are you?" The receptionist hung up the phone on me. Again I called back and said "Hello, how are you?" And she said nothing except "hello?!?" . Once actually at the clinic I spoke to the receptionist again, said "Hello, how are you?" And she for the third time wouldn't answer. I asked it again and she said "what do you need?" She then spoke to her I coworker beside her, not in English, and when I asked what she was saying she said "never mind". She was obviously saying something she didn't want me to hear, because she obviously spoke English. Easily the worst experience I've had at a walk in clinic. Would not return.

Booking my first appointment wasn’t particularly easy as there is no booking confirmation and my appointment had to be moved and there was confusion between the staff - as I’m sure happens with a booking system that’s not super intuitive. However I did get a call the morning of my appointment to check I was coming in and the staff were friendly. I had a really good experience with Dr Mark Abbey, as a foreigner in Vancouver without my own Dr here it’s always hit and miss with a walk in clinic. I found Dr Abbey was friendly and actually listened to why I was there rather than pushing me out the door moments after arriving which is how I feel most of the time seeing Drs in this city. It was nice to feel like a person not a number (:

Accidentally deleted my earlier review when trying to update it. That one was basically "went to the doctor with a problem, doctor gave useless advice to which I told him I'd tried that for a week and I needed him to help he responded telling me I hadn't done it". Basically on go here if you're about to die and have no other options. The staff, both reception and medical are awful and won't help with anything. The update was going to be "I needed a form signed by a doctor, just a signature. Turns out this walk in clinic no longer has a doctor so it's just a useless building with a rude receptionist who'll take all your details before telling you that there's no doctor and won't be for at least a month". No reason to ever go here.

Reception makes you wait I on hold, doesn't supply you with the questions you have even if they are brief and direct and says "OK???" to let you know she is done "assisting you". After 3 min she tells me "I'm very busy here". I say I need to ask a question. She tells me "Then I will need to put you on hold again" After 6 minutes wait she repeats what she already said, repeats "OK???" (Meaning my time is up), and when I again attempt to get my question answered she says "I'm very busy. I already spent time with you. I have to go." Hangs up. 90% of the phone call is waiting on hold twice. 5% is not answering a question and the other 5% is reception telling you that she's to busy to help you. I wish there was a -3 star option

This is by far one of the best walk-in clinics I have been to in Vancouver (both in person and over the phone). Some days it was a little difficult to get through by phone and I was unable to leave a message due to it being full but well worth the wait. I have been helped by Dr. Dickey and by Dr. Norman T. Tong who are both amazing. They are amazing because they actually listened to what I was saying and helped me with no hesitation (you expect this from doctors but it is hard to come by). I am very grateful for these doctors alongside the staff working at this clinic, specifically for their professionalism and for the their help in improving my quality of life. I sincerely thank you all!

Avoid this place for god's sake. A bunch of liars. They told us three (!!!) times month after month that signed us up to MRI queue while they never actually did it. They told us that they CANT TELL US WHICH PARTICULAR CLINIC WE ARE ASSIGNED TO. They can't. Ofc you can't if you never did it. Liars. Stupid, arrogant. Hope you guys have 0 working days week instead of 2. You didn't deserve a penny from MSP. How dare you to make a human suffer for a half a year from backpain and be afraid to tell you simply lied. P.S. to the owner: check my email which I sent on Mar 18, 2023, 3:06 PM asking about MRI date. Which you never bothered to respond ofc.

Be very wary of this practice. I would not put faith in a medical doctor that cannot maintain their own business hours. This place has no waits when open because the local demographic would rather go elsewhere than this sort of a procrastinating medical un-professional. Their own website reads open@09:00. Google reads open@10:00. Tuesday 28AUG no one is in the office by 10:00. No hours posted on door. No voicemail greeting/message associated with office number! Jesus! I wouldn't be surprised to learn this doctor graduated from Almeda. How can you trust a person to oversee your ailments if their own operation is in such poor status?

I don’t know what is going on with this business? I was going here and seeing a doctor. I had my medical exam for my professional license and then got a requisition for some lab tests. After months of waiting the doctor never explained the results and when I call the office ( nearly impossible to get through) a young man promised me that a doctor would call me back at 2pm that day. I suspected I wouldn’t get a call and sure enough no response after months of trying to get ahold of the doctor and office staff. What a completely incompetent, unprofessional and irresponsible business! Don’t use this walk in clinic it’s a joke!

Receptionist ignored my phone calls and when I asked her why she said she got my messages but didn’t feel like responding. Then she said she didn’t get them because her phone wasn’t working right, then she said she didn’t get them because her computer and printer were not working. I called 9 times today, left various messages on more than one day and received no response. She hung up on me, said she owns the place, said she doesn’t have to respond to calls she doesn’t want to, and interrupts patients. Very unprofessional ever since the pandemic. I have been going here for 10 years or so and was treated like garbage.

Made an appointment 3 weeks ago online. Never received a confirmation or a phone call to confirm, so I took it upon myself to do that. To my surprise, no one answers the phone or checks their voice mails, so it's incredibly difficult to get ahold of anyone to confirm. Arrived on a separate scheduled date and time, and was told to come back in an hour because the doctor was going on break. I already rearranged my day to accommodate this medical appointment, so why can't anyone from this office call me to do the same? Overall the staff are unprofessional and inconsiderate of clients. Improvements severely needed.

I hate to do this but they have not been operating professionally during the pandemic. When they are open no one picks up the phone. They said they had sent my form for coverage out weeks ago and had never sent it. They only returns calls when they feel like it and when I asked about a PAP test which I have always had there they just said “Can’t help ya there.” They could at least explain how their operations have changed and communicate better with patients. I have always liked Dr. Fisher and the receptionist but it is not being managed well at all right now, causing dire circumstances in many patients life.

My x ray results have been lost twice and I've been constantly on the phone to try to get them to do their job. I've been suffering for a week because they've failed to follow up with me, which they could have done the same day I had the x ray. Reception staff are unapologetic for these errors. Also very rude on the phone - hang up on you before you're ready to stop talking, put you on hold without asking, monotone and impolite. Really feel like I'm the victim of malpractice here. The doctors here are fine and I have had good care from Dr Yousefi, it's a shame the clinic is so let down by terrible reception.

I called into this office I talked to a young lady first of all she couldn't understand you couldn't hear when I had to say she wasn't listening very well she could hardly speak English she asked me my name I gave her my name probably five times she said that I have to make an appointment that they only have appointments between 3:00 and 5:00 I went all the way from New Westminster to come see it for my 3:00 appointment to find out that she didn't make an appointment and they don't make appointments the most useless helping reception I've ever dealt with very poor communication for reception

Dr. Yousefzadeh is a kind, caring doctor. Though we only had a phone chat he really took the time to listen and take my concerns seriously. He also went out of his way to ensure that I was able to start my medication as soon as possible. He was proactive with the imaging I needed and I appreciated how diligent and professional he was. It isn't often you have such a wonderful experience simply over the phone. Thank you Dr. Yousefzadeh for taking me seriously and being so awesome :) I also felt like the front desk really listened when I expressed my concerns. Very good experience :)

Probably the best clinic on the drive. I've been going here for all my problems for the past several months and haven't had any problems. They always answer the phones, they take walk ins on short notice (they don't close right when they open like other clinics on the drive), and the bedside manner is impeccable. Most other doctors make me feel rushed and I feel that the doctors here take the most time that they can with their patients, which seems to be a rarity here in Vancouver. The clinic is small but well kept and is relatively accessible from commercial-Broadway skytrain.

Dr Gillian Fisher and receptionist Nina are brusque, highly competent, kind, overworked, helpful, and professional. If Dr Fisher had her own practice, I'd have her as my own doctor in a heartbeat. Dr Roger Dickey and other doctors I've seen here have also been great. The wait gets longer as the day progresses, and sometimes the last hour or two are already full by mid-afternoon, just like all walk-in clinics in the neighbourhood. I recommend going as early as you can, or plan to go to the park or do errands nearby.

Highly recommend this place for botox!! I have been looking for a good doctor to do my botox for 2 years now and I finally have found the place!!!! The result was satisfactory and beautiful. It’s so natural and flawless that no one can notice it unless if I tell them. The doctor was so nice, honest, patient and understanding. He managed to give me the exact result I was looking for. I will definitely go back and 100% recommend this place to my friends and family. Keep it up and best of luck

wonderful clinic. honestly, after reading the reviews before my first trip here, I doubted whether to go or not, but this is the nearest clinic to my house, and I was very ill so I could not go far and decided. the staff is very polite and friendly, all 3 doctors with whom I worked were very caring and understanding. the woman at the reception is very friendly and kind. I am glad that I got to this clinic and I will be going here again.

One of THE best clinics I've been to. I never write reviews on Google and this is my first one, but this clinic deserves acknowledgment for their sincere and great work! I've been to lots of hospitals and clinics, living in Vancouver my whole life, but this is the only clinic I go out of my way to go to now. If you need yourself a great doctor, this is definitely the place you should stop by

I went and seen dr.Dickey 3 times, and every time I told him about severe sciatica pain he never once did anything to address it, he simply told me I had a lumbar strain and to walk it off. Dr.Dickey is by far the worst Dr I have ever been to, I would suggest going anywhere else before here. Turns out I have severe sciatica pain now effecting my knee and ankle. Do not go to this clinic.

After looking for and calling many other walk-in clinics that were rude and not able to help me, I was lucky to finally find this one. I sent them an email and they got back to me within a day. I received a phone call from a very nice doctor a couple of days after for a consultation. He was very knowledgeable, kind and patient. I’m very happy with the service. Thank you for your help.

The reception staff were so stuck up and uptight. Feels like they got an issue with you visiting their clinic..grumpy people, went in to collect my lab requisition forms which weren't sent to me, and instead of being understanding, they are not empathetic but, stressed out about something, and take it out on the clients..Go in for attention, and get stuck up people with an attitude.

Doctor was amazing. There was a long wait, but that depends on when you go and how busy it is. It is after all a walk in clinic. And the doctor spent a full 25 minutes with me because I was a complicated case. And I appreciated what she did, I walked out with much fewer worries , and she made sure I got the tests I needed. They even called me for a follow up the next day.

Signed up and confirmed an online virtual appointment over 1 week ago and never got the call at the scheduled time or any further contact of any kind. Clearly incompetent. First impressions are everything so obviously I will never attempt to go back here for any reason. If they call right now Ill tell them they are trash and hang up......but they wont call lol

I came to see a doctor, the woman at reception ignored me standing outside for about 5 mins even though it was during their hours of operation. Eventually she answered the door and told me they’re doing phone consultations only - then please update your website to clearly state this because right now you’re misleading people who need to see a doctor in person.

Worst receptionist I have ever talked to. She was very grumpy and not helpful at all. Instead of aiming to resolve my issue and show some care and attention to a potential patient, she suggested me to go somewhere else. This is a health clinic and a persons health is very important maybe train your receptionist to be friendly and a bit more compassionate.

I advise this medical clinic to everyone. The guy who was recieptionist talked very politely and listen carefully to know what exactly you want and what is your problem. I made an appointment with Dr. Amir Yousefzade and he was a perfect doctor. He is so professional and responsible. I am totally satisfied with my experience in this clinic.

Waited a whole hour(and had to leave before even getting to see a doctor) after being told the wait was half hour. people who showed up after me all got to see the doctor before me for what reason I have no idea. Receptionist was eating lunch at the front desk when I got there and spoke with her mouth full which I found super unprofessional.

Receptionist was literally eating pizza at the desk. lmao Half way home, I get a phone call from her saying she forgot to give me my doctors note so I had to go back. The place is super outdated and reeked of cigs.. This place needs an upgrade too. After I left, I felt super dirty and gross. I had to shower right away.

Highly recommend this clinic, received my cosmetic treatment here, all my questions and concerns are always addressed and answered thoroughly which I really appreciate. I am always thrilled with how natural my results are and how doctors goes the extra mile with a follow up to ensure I’m happy and satisfied.

Very poorly managed. They forgot to send my specialist referral two times and they never take accountability for their mistake. The phone visit from the physician was fine but dealing with their admin people is a nightmare. They rarely answer the phone and their voicemail is always full.

Very helpful, attentive and kind. I've been there a few times and was helped right away. Dr. Yousefzadeh listens and explains everything well, he is a doctor who really cares about the patient's health. I will come back when I need and I highly recommend this clinic and doctor.

I love this walk-in clinic. I've never had to wait. The doctors aways listen to me. I don't understand why it's rated so low. I always come here when my family doctor is too busy and booked far in advance. IF I could get my family doctor here, I would! Seriously, check it out!

The initial appointment went fine but the follow up did not. The receptionist offered me a 10 am call two days later to review my X ray results but they never called. I wasn’t able to reach them by phone or email. No effort was made to follow up with me on my results.

Dr Amir is a really great professional. He takes the time to explain you any inquiry or concern you may have. He also takes the time to examine you properly. He is patient and caring. Also the receptionist is great!! I highly recommend this clinic.

Been coming to the clinic since 2008 after my car accident. I now live in Nanaimo and still use the Commercial Drive Clinic. They’re always helpful with everything I need done from so far. Thanks for your help over the years. I appreciate it.

Just a note that the lab sent my results 8 days ago and no one followed up. It took three calls today to get the results. So it did happen, but be sure that you're proactive. I don't know, of course, if they're understaffed or inefficient.

This office is so disrespectful they told me a doctor would call me and it’s been two days they have not called me. They need to find a new solution where they can accommodate everybody’s needs. I’m very unhappy and disappointed at this.

Ignore the hours of operation posted on here. Just drove in paid for parking and arrived to a closed clinic. According to the secretary they changed the hours three years ago and have yet to update anything online. Call beforehand.

The front end staff are kind and friendly. We didn’t have to wait very long and the doctor we saw was helpful and didn’t go straight to resorting to pills unlike some doctors who seem to be influenced by pharmaceutical companies…

Was kinda worried going here based on reviews but honestly it’s not that bad. I didn’t have to wait at all for a doctor to see me, and they gave me what I needed & were understanding. All in all a totally fine experience.

The receptionist (Nina) is extremely rude and sarcastic. Very unprofessional. After dealing with this clinic on and off for three years, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. Do not go to this clinic.

Came here on a Thursday with an appointment. The wait time was very short. Dr. Yousefzadeh was quick and thorough. The facilities were very neat and clean and the shoppers pharmacy next to it is very handy.

This clinic was wonderful. The staff provided a courteous service. The doctor was careful about my medical history and made sure that he covered all basis. I would totally recommend this clinic to anyone.

This is a great clinic, it's very busy and they do their best to get everyone in to see the doctors. Often there are long waits, but the chairs are comfortable, or you can grab a coffee and come back.

Friendly , professional staff, well organized medical clinic. I needed a medical exam for my professional truckers licence and the clinic staff / doctor took care of the exam / paperwork promptly.

Service within the clinic is good. My suggestion to them is that sometime service within the clinic is slow. If they can expedite it then it will be wonderful. Other than that all good. Thanks.

I find it odd that a lot of low reviews. Every time I come here, everyone is very attentive and approachable. The doctors and receptionist are concise and friendly. I recommend this place.
