Such an amazing place to say. The hosts do everything they can to accommodate you and their response times to messages/questions are very prompt. The location is very close to a lot of the great things to see and do in Merida. The room itself is spectacular and they really try to harness the beauty of the Yucatán. That being said, understand that the indoor/outdoor concept in the bathroom will attract bugs do to the humidity and heat. This wasn’t a big issue for my girlfriend or myself, but something some people should be mindful of when booking this place. Also, again, understand the open concept between indoor and outdoor will cause water to enter the bathroom and sliding door. Again, this isn’t something that is a big issue, just something to be mindful of. All of that said, I really can’t say enough nice things about Casa Chaka and the environment that is created for all guests to enjoy. If you are looking for a place to stay when visiting this romantic, beautiful area, then look no further, because Casa Chaka is the spot.

It was very nice there. We would come back, when we are in Mérida. The case is made very nice, you feel directly comfortable. The room was very nice. You had all what you need (coffee, tv, free wifi). The room is decorated very nice. Cold water was prepared in the fridge for drinking. The bathroom was very nice, it was clean, looks modern (rain shower) and you have there all what you need (soap, towels). At the outside you had a private pool like it is common in Mérida. The location of the case was good. The neighborhood was ok, you can walk there good. In 3 minutes, you are at the main street where is always something going on. In front of the case you have some public parking spot. We hadn’t some problems to find a parking spot for the car. Why not 5 stars at the service? It gives a communications fault, so we had 2 keys and somebody else needed the second key. So, we had to go back. But when you had a question, you get very fast an answer.

Excelente lugar para quedarse en Mérida. Está muy cerca del centro y de Paseo Montejo. La habitación que me tocó fue genial, todo limpio, ordenado y con su alberca privada. El diseño es bonito y acogedor. La comunicación con Karlo fue muy buena en todo tiempo. El acceso es sencillo además de que las indicaciones son muy fáciles de seguir. Recomiendo altamente este lugar.

Such a lovely place! I stayed here after driving from Chicago through Mexico (with my ultimate destination being Cancun), and I stayed at many places along the way. I loved that coffee, sugar and (dried) creamer were provided, such a simple luxury! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing (the shower is "outside" complete with a real tree in the shower!). The back area with the pool was a mini-jungle paradise.

Everything is exactly as it appears in the photos. After traveling from Dallas, being able to take a quick refreshing dip in the private rooftop pool was exactly what we needed. Waking up in this beautifully designed bedroom was a great - the bed was very comfortable and the AC kept everything fresh. We will most definitely be returning. Thank you for sharing this beautiful space with us. Loved it.

El lugar es muy bonito, su estilo es unico con toda la naturaleza y el toque especifico de Merida, es muy privado,descansas muy bien,la cama y el baño son muy confortables y te la pasas increible. Esta super cerca del centro y puedes caminar a lugares muy ricos cerca. Muy recomendable y por supesto que regresaria.

Es un espacio totalmente íntimo, con piscina privada por habitación, muy cómoda y decoracion con toques vintage. Excelente para una escapada en pareja, con lugares de interés, museos, restaurantes y bares a los que puedes ir caminando. Totalmente recomendado y sin duda regresaremos pronto.

I have booked a room here on AirBnB and it was a great choice for me and my dog. The space is as on the photos: cozy, colorful, comfortable, and a close to Paseo Montejo. I walked everywhere from here. The host is very responsive and accommodative. You will need to bring water, hair conditioner, and trash bag with you if you need to stay longer.

Estuve hospedado el sab 7 de oct en el hotel. El concepto es bueno sin embargo la limpieza de la habitación estaba fatal, hongo en la regadera, sillón con polvo, olor a humedad. Bastante descuidado el tema de limpieza por lo que no es agradable la estancia. Ojala puedan mejorar ese aspecto

La decoración del lugar es muy hermoso, da paz y tranquilidad ver tanta coherencia en el estilo. Es obligatorio traer repelente de mosquitos. Fue lo único incómodo.

La ubicación es ideal. A dos cuadras de Paseo Montejo y muy cerca del centro. El espacio tiene un diseño increíble. La habitación es cómoda y no le falta nada. La alberca es extraordinaria.
