I took a car I wished to purchase here for an inspection, they told me it had no major issues and that “everything was mechanically sound.” I purchased the vehicle because of this. The brake line went out on the car two days later and I couldn’t stop my vehicle and slid through an intersection. I had to get towed to the nearest Canadian Tire (South Common) after being stranded in a parking lot for 3 hours. This Canadian Tire offered to compensate a brake inspection because I was unable to contact this location because they were closed. They let me know my brake line went out. I fought with both of these Canadian Tires (Currents Drive and South Common) over the phone for 4 days to have the repair compensated since Canadian Tire missed it and are liable for that mistake. Over the 10+ phone calls and 4 days I was told “it’s not their fault because the brake line was covered by a piece of plastic,” “this is an unfortunate coincidence,” and also when I asked them to compensate the tow the response was “you can’t drive it?” All of which demonstrate poor customer service and an immense lack of care for my safety and well being. They ended up paying for the repair, but refused to pay for the inspection claiming “it was too expensive since they were already covering almost $1,000 by giving the brake line.” When I went to pick up my car, I was not given a warranty or break down of work done and costs by the South Common location where the brake work was done. I had to come back and ask for it, which the associate seemed concerned that I returned. The final cost of the brake repair? $311.85. I was quoted $850.00. I came in today to the Currents Drive location for a refund on the inspection since obviously it was not a reliable inspection, and they gave it to me immediately. I am assuming they are aware I could sue for negligence. At no point was there an apology for the fact that I could have died or caused serious harm to myself or others had the situation been any different than what it was. I am very lucky to be unharmed. Please take your car somewhere else if you value your vehicles and your life.

In fall of 2022 I purchased new winter tires and had them installed at this store. In 2023 I attempted to remove them, the first lug I loosened broke off. After contacting the store, I was given an appointment to bring my car in 2 days later. While bringing my car in, it was argued by the staff that they should charge me to change the rest of my tires rather than just changing the lug and one tire. And do I risk that the over torqued lug nut only happened to one specific stud? Unlikely. At last they agreed to change all my tires over at no additional cost. The technician on the job called me to come see him while I was still in the store, he mentioned that my struts needed to be replaced and that my transmission cooling lines were leaking, both were true. I asked that they replace both, with OEM cooling lines and aftermarket shocks. Job completed, all seemed well July 2023 - my car stopped shifting while driving. Had it towed to Competition Chev in Stony Plain, they tell me the transmission cooling lines were installed incorrectly and they were surprised it took this long for the lines to blow. I called the Canadian Tire store and explained what Competition told me. After which I emailed the service manager my invoice from Competition. The service manager Alex dealt with my issue by the following Monday, and I came in to collect my refund on Tuesday. On Monday night I emailed Alex, explaining my displeasure and asking that he consider compensation for the hours of inconvenience I have endured revisiting their service department - no response. On Tuesday I emailed the store manager, Leslie, who also can't be bothered to respond. I have not been financially burdened by their mistakes, just hours of driving back and forth. Not to mention I'm 0/2 in my only two dealings with this service center. Surely this warrants a call or email from the store manager, but customer service doesn't seem to be their #1 priority. My recommendation? Steer clear from the service department.

Updated Review (Jan 19, 2023): Manager Leslie called me back promptly on Jan 16, and we discussed the issue. She said that yes I should be able to return my item no problem and that the originally associate at the front who did not return my item initially, misunderstood the “policy” and she would speak with her. I was able to find time 3 days later, and was able to return my item with no hassle. My joy for shopping at Canadian Tire has been re-establish. Thank you Leslie for the amazing customer service. Original Review (Jan 16, 2023): Came to return an item. Lady at front would not return it because she said since they did not have it in stock in the store it was “policy” that I could not return it, and would have to go to another store with the item in stock. I pointed out that on the back of the receipt, under COMMITMENT AND RETURN POLICY, ANY item can be return to ANY Canadian Tire Store with a receipt within 90 days. I have a receipt and I bought the item 2 days ago. She said she was the manager at the front. She needs retraining! What if you ordered an item online, because the store did no it have it in stock? And then you had to return it She said I have to go to the Southside Canadian Tire store to return, because it is in stock there. Totally does not make sense. I should have asked her to show me the “policy”. Anyway I spend hundreds a month sometimes at Canadian Tire. I love the store, because it reminds me of my Dad. He would take me there all the time when I was young. This lady put a real sour taste in me and ruined the joy of coming to Canadian Tire. I left a message with the General Manager of the Windermere store. If all is gets resolved with better Customer Service, I will change my review.

I almost gave a 1 star review because I went in yesterday around 12:30pm, it was quite busy, so I understand. I asked FOUR different people for help, none of them helped me. This was at auto service. I told them I am removing the rust off my car and painting it but I have no experience and have no idea what I'm doing. One guy said go buy some sonax wheel cleaner, you need that first. My friend works in auto body and he said that makes no sense. All I needed was sanding paper, primer and some paint. Little did I know I was supposed to have a paint code. Nobody told me! And I asked 4 different people! All they said was go to that aisle and come back if you need help. I needed someone to come with me and walk me through it but nope, they weren't even interested. They all looked to be 18 years old too. I came in today really angry because now it looks like I have duct tape on my car, that's how off the paint colour is. Bill was at the counter, older and more experienced...he was very helpful, he explained the paint coding, explained how to find it for my car and he was ok with refunding me for the wrong paint colour. Thank you Bill for your help today. Keep this guy around. He is good at his job!

The rear brakes on my Honda were starting to produce a squeaking noise when I applied the brakes, which usually indicates that the pads are getting low and it’s time for a replacement. I have used Canadian Tire auto service with all of my vehicles over the years, and I’ve been singularly satisfied with the level of work and the quality of workmanship. I called around to different repair shops in Edmonton, and as usual Canadian Tire had the best prices. I took my vehicle to Canadian Tire in Windermere in Edmonton. My experience was exceptional. The service advisor was very thoughtful and concerned that I get the best service possible. He took the time to explain things thoroughly, and actually brought me out to the mechanic, introduced me and let me discuss it with the mechanic himself. The mechanic was very friendly, conscientious, caring and careful with his work and I was extraordinarily satisfied with the outcome. There was a price range and the work came to $28 over the bottom end of the pricing. In addition, he went over all of the important mechanical issues and give me a review of any repairs needed. Fantastic. I will continue to use Canadian Tire for all my auto service. Well done.

My dad specifically told the people replacing our summer tires with winter tires to leave 2 summer tires in the trunk of the car, then leave the other 2 summer tires in their garage for us to come pick up with our other car the next day. He specifically asked for this to be written down in our invoice, but the service counter people ignored his request and left it out. We didn't realize until we came to pick up the tires today and saw the invoice. Ahmed (the guy who replaced our tires) then decided to then stuff 4 tires into one car; 2 in the trunk, 2 in the back seats, which completely blocked my rear-view as I was driving home. As well, it left my interior dirty and scratched my leather seats. These guys are complete amateurs, from the service desk to the guys working in the garage. They don't listen to their customers and ended up ruining the interior of my car while creating driving hazards that I couldn't get around because of their negligence. Do yourself a favour and go to the Kal-Tire a couple minutes away instead.

DON'T EVER GET TIRES FROM HERE GO TO LEDUC LOCATION WAYYYYYYY BETTER SERVICE. The westend windamer location forgot to put the tire warranty on 1 of my 3 trucks and said "sorry sir there is nothing I can do. You will have to pay full price for a new set of tires" when 2 of my 3 truck already have it, so clearly it was on there end they forgot to add it. On top of all that they said they don't have my tires in stock and would be a week out. In comes Carrie from leduc CT to the rescue and restored my faith in Canadian Tire. She not only saw that they screwed up on my warranty and pro rated it without question. She went out of her way when they didn't have enough in stock to go get the tires herself and made sure they had them for me within the next day. This lady needs a raise or promotion cause she saved 1 lost customer. I wish I had her at my company that was outstanding service, you don't see it a lot these days.

If there was -0 star option I would give it that. I had a defective product still in the original packaging didn't use it had it sitting for 3 weeks within the policy guide line, another stuff checked the product and confirmed that it wasn't working. Jackie @ the customer service was very rude and refused to refund my money and said that my only option was store credit or get the same product. I told her to check the policy and she said she knows. Other stuff also told her but she still refused. She said that the manager Sherry told her the same thing. This was the second time Jackie has been rude to me not sure why you would put a rude person at the customer service. I have a business and buy a lot of products from this store. After this experience I will never shop at this store and will make sure to tell everyone I know in the area about my experience.

I go to this Canadian Tire because it's close to my work, but boy oh boy is the place laid out in a crazy and confusing manner (which is just every Canadian Tire). Last trip I was looking for DAP, a sanding block, and paint brushes. All these items are in the same place at Home Depot, but I ended up having to traverse through work boots, step ladders, and power tools just to gather up the materials. Normally I use the website to find which aisle everything I need is in but I assumed it would be a quick in and out. (Assuming was my downfall). Find an associate for help? Don't think so. I think we are just used to doing most things ourselves at department stores so I don't fault the staff in having to work with not enough man-hours to be available readily. Mainly taking the one star off for the Where's Waldo hunt I was on for those three things.

Worst experience lately at the Canadian tire. I needed some minor repair on my car, so I called and this gentleman said “yeah, first come first serve, just come in”, I wanted to know how long the wait can be, but he only tells me that. So I drove 30 minutes from the North end and I went in. This manager looking person was so grumpy and frustrated but I had to talk to him. He just asked my info, without saying hi or any positive greeting He told me to leave my car and come back before closing (9 pm), I was visiting from out town and had to go back where my family was shopping at. He was like “well I need your car parked and cued till we fix otherwise go somewhere else” I was really sad because people at Canadian tire usually treat me and our people better. I hope I go back to the other locations and see more smile and positivity

I would like to give negative instead of even 1 star for customer service but well this is the lowest so be it. I went to buy a product labelled at a quoted price, when scanned shows different price, cashier says they will have to override the price and needs manager, now Manager RUBY comes in and says she will not give it at that price my arguement, than why do you have that price displayed, she goes it is for different product. I was in that store for quite a while and never saw any different price there. I asked for scanning code of practice, RUBY says i dont care, i will not give it at that price even if it was mentioned. No politeness, misleading price, no respect of price mentioned. Absolutely disappointing and worst customer service. Second worst experience. Not going back to this place.

Today I purchased a skillet and was treated very rudely by the checkout woman, who happens to be the managers wife. First she told me what to do with my cart then she was offended that she had to pack my pan into my bag I brought. I am not going to spent extra money for a bag just because it had a Canadian Tire logo on it. She told me “can’t you the pan in the bag?”, with attitude that she was better than me. Then proceeded to be slighted when I said no. I Park in the handicapped because I have mobility issues. Why should I give you my patronage when you don't give me customer service? As a senior I am not your employee, I am your customer. My money provides you with wages. If she is this rude to customers I can only imagine what she is like with employees.

Recently purchased about $1500 on new tires and within a day of leaving the sensor goes out on one of the tires. I bring it back a week or so later and am told there is nothing they can do about it. I told them I just got these put on and now the sensor goes out within a day and it seems odd and I'd like it fixed and at the very least looked at. The guy at the counter said ok bring it around to the garage and we'll have a look. I do so and then have to explain all over again to a guy in the back and he tells me the battery on the sensor is probably out and I'll have to pay to have it replaced. This is without even looking at it. Guess I'll be getting my next set of new tires for my other car somewhere else. Always an issue with the car guys. ALWAYS!

Once again disappointed with the chaotic manner in which the store is managed. Came to the Windermere location to pick up an item that stated they had 29 cases in stock. Used the kiosk upon entering the store to locate the item which said to ask an associate. I asked and associate called another to ask where the item was. They did not know and said to check the back room. 15 minutes later they could not find it in the back room and said it was on the floor somewhere and to just.."look for it". I decided to call another store and ask them if they had it knew where it was located. They did. I drove there and purchased it. Third time this has happened in 6 months. Windermere is now last resort status.

The guys working in the auto parts couldn't even supply me with the correct wipers for my vehicle after bringing in the old ones and telling them the make, model and year of my truck. Ended up wasting a bunch of time repackaging, returning and exchanging them for a "one size fits all contraption" because I broke the clips on my wiper arms from trying to get the wrong ones attached. Wasn't super pumped about the customer service here. The manager tried to get me setup the second time around but this store should really get their people trained up properly to do the job. Wipers on a vehicle in winter driving is an extreme safety concern that shouldn't be taken lightly!

  • J C

Brought my car in for a simply alignment as I thought that was the issue but the auto service staff (Ephrem especially) were extremely helpful letting me know that was not the issue. They took their time to assess it, clean up some of the mess I made doing the brakes myself, greased some areas and had my car up and down on the hoist several times to figure it out and even came to speak to me several times as well. For the price I paid* the value of service was unreal. I will ALWAYS bring my car here for service just based off this one experience alone. Thank you everyone and THANK YOU Ephrem

Bought a bike rack for under $200. It left a decent sized dent in my wife's SUV and scuffed the paint the first time we used it. Went to return it and was offered store credit or an exchange. I understand they can't resell it if it's been used but that doesn't mean they shouldn't offer a full refund. Another reason to shop at Walmart or Costco instead. Certainly won't be visiting this store anytime soon. Their return policy is extremely ambiguous when it comes to items that have been opened. Basically they pick and choose what they allow a full refund for. Terrible customer service.

  • Curtis

I used to come here quite frequently due to the location convenience. The personnel stocking shelves are always respectful and always willing to help, but the cashiers, customer service, and guys at the parts counter are MISERABLE. The culture here needs some looking into. And Canadian Tire needs to revise their return and price match policy if they want to survive in the present competitive market. If a Canadian Retailer offers a cheaper price online, you should match that price. I have been a loyal Canadian Tire shopper, but this Canadian retail chain is on decline

  • Molly Chen

I've always found Canadian Tire's return policy to be less than accommodating. I purchased a metal detector in August as an early birthday present for my son. Upon opening it, we realized it was defective. However, when I attempted a return, the store directed me to the manufacturer, citing it was a mere week past their 30-day return policy, even though we had only opened it a week prior. Their pricing often leans towards the higher side, and the quality of their products can be inconsistent. It's truly a game of hit or miss with them.

I was at the Windermere Canadian tire because I needed to get my tire repaired. The gentleman who worked in the shop offered to repair and put my tire back on my car, but I was worried it was going to take a very long time to do this. Within 20 minutes they had fixed my tire and put back my spare in the trunk. I had left my trunk a mess and they were kind enough to neatly put everything in order after putting my spare back in the trunk. They were wonderful at this location and I highly recommend them for kindness and speediness.

  • Jim Kent

Canadian Tire Auto Service only does "first come, first serve" if you need something fixed. This is not service at all. You have to drive all the way there to find out how long it will take you to get service only to be told it will be 2 -3 hours. They don't offer courtesy car service to leave your car and get a ride back home and what do they expect you to do for 2 - 3 hours in a big box-type shopping area? ANY auto service business should be able to take appointments. This is not service, it's disgusting.

  • Colleen O'Sullivan

In a snowy, cold city like Edmonton, you think there would be a prep to taking care of the air hoses at gas stations. THANK YOU to the staff at Canadian Tire, they took me in right away and filled my tire for me, and even found and fixed the problem that I was having. All last minute and during the holidays. They were very friendly and pleasant in a time when customer service seems to be a thing of the past. I will definitely be going back to Windermere Canadian Tire. Fast efficient and friendly service!

  • Colleen Jens

Went to purchase an item that was on sale in 11 hours and was told the computer system will not allow early sale price. Manager on duty was rude. The next day the store manager did apologize but used the word "policy' several times. There are only so many retail dollars to be spent and i chose to spend at a competitor than have to go back to the store for a second trip. Canadian Tire needs to step up their customer service game or expect to lose more customers with the outdated policies and attitudes.

  • Sodany Chin

Terrible customer service a majority of the time. I only ever go to this location if the West one is out of stock on a product. There’s never any staff on the floor to help or they walk the other direction when they see you walking towards them. Today I placed an order for pick up that got cancelled even though the website shows 5 in stock. I called to see if they can find the product. She said something I couldn’t understand then transferred me over to someone else who hung up on me.

  • Susan Barylo

I use a walker (unfortunately). Every other store at which I shop provides me a basket which fits nicely in my walker. You, however, no longer provide baskets to your customers. Today, as I tried shopping without one, I had to precariously balance each item on the seat of my walker, hoping they wouldn't slip off and crash to the ground. Since I had many items today, balancing them and pushing the walker put extra strain on my bad back. I am not happy with your store today!

  • Hamid Zaman

I found out today that canadian tire charges $15 for tire retorque if the tires were installed somewhere else!! Really dissapointed to see the cheap mentality and poor customer service and total disregard to customer safety for a service that takes less than a minute!! This service is normally provided free of charge by other major tire companies and mechanics! Don't know what makes canadian tire so special to be charging for this service!! I should stop going there!!!

  • Carmen Ouellette

Great store, handy location off the Henday. Staff are very helpful, I went in looking for Alien Tape, they knew exactly what I was talking about and showed me right where it was. It was on for a great price too. I thought it was awesome they had the Alien Tape in stock at the store and I didn’t have to order it online! They had everything I was looking for and more! The selection of items they have is great.

I was able to find some bedding plants in the Garden Centre that even the big greenhouses do not regularly stock. In particular, I'm so excited to find a pot with 3 healthy yellow skinned Zucchini plants. The herbs were busting from their containers and one of the ruffled edged Pansy I bought had a name that sounded like it was labelled by Snoop Dogg himself. (Similar to "fo shizzle ma nizzle")

  • Darcy Pysyk

Very upset with the service repair shop. Was told over the phone that it would be a half hour labour charge to change the two bulbs for my headlights on my vehicle. When I dropped off the vehicle, the service guy said it would be at least 2 hours or more to change the bulbs. Complete rip off and underhanded. Will never go to the Windermere Canadian Tire again. Do not trust them. Very disappointed.

  • maged badr

Had a flat tire for my Tesla, asked to fix it and the service centre said we don’t work on Tesla anymore even for Tire swapping. On the other hand Fountain Tire works on Tesla. Very disappointing experience for an emergency situation. I’m not visiting this place anymore the whole brand is useless for me. As long as you don’t respect your customer emergency situation

  • Nugget Forward

Canadian Tire use to be my goto one stop shop. Now that they have changed their return policy, I'll be thinking twice before I make my next purchase there. Also, the Spruce Grove location is basically all under lock and key. I have never seen so much stuff locked up at any store in my life like this place. Sure does make you feel like a criminal, that's for sure.

  • Mohsen Tavakoli

Clean, nice staff. We had an issue with the price matching our item and the customer service manager didn't listen to us. We mentioned that we will buy the item again and do a return on the old receipt. She didn't listen to us and gave us a gift card for our remaining part of the purchase. Not sure what to do with the plastic gift card that has little value!

  • Mohammed Elenany

They completed 3 repairs in my car and each time they install a bad part and I have to go back to them to refix and every time I have to pay for the labour. Technically this is cheating to customers to pay for the labour on a malfunction part they installed. Worst customer service ever. I will never get Canadian tire to do any repair work in my car again.

  • Sadi

Excellent as always, I always buy tissue boxes and kitchen towels from here, among other things. Tip: Kitchen towels are big, strong, reliable, and absorbant, around $6ish. Rock pots & pans: excellent for cooking & washing, just don't scratch it with metal spoons, use silicon spoon spatula (betty crocker at dollarama sometimes has that). Happy shopping!

  • John Isley

Got wiper blades for my car. Went to the parts counter and said I wanted Bosch blades. The gentlemen said my car requires 19-inch wipers. Grabbed 19-inch eo. Partsman looked them up and said my car needed 19A wipers. Got the right blades, paid a parts counter, and left. I was maybe in the store for 20 minutes. Very impressed with the service I received.

  • D C

i was looking for light bulb 7521, it shows 21 in stock. And when I got here, the shelf is empty, the guy checked in side says nothing. So my question is, what’s wrong? To people who care or maybe not. Updates about this store, the auto repair guys are awesome, show me what's wrong with the vehicle and I got my car back after a couple hours. Thumb up.

  • rayan adad

Would like to give a huge thank you to Nick W. Parts employee. He really has an outstanding customer service skills and always has been respectful every time I visit. He always assured to give me his full attention and efficient time. This guy is the only employee I look for when I stop by to look for items in Canadian Tire. Thanks Nick. U rock.

  • Vash

Can't be bothered to answer a phone, stores obviously understaffed or maybe it's the fact that no one born in canada can understand what they are saying on the phone, so stuff takes longer, considering like everything else in Candada it seems to be primarily Indian owned now. Canadian Tire Slogan. run by indians and everything is made in China

  • Ryan Lenz

Don't get me wrong, I truly like the convenience of having this Canadian tire near where I live. But, when I am unable to find something and need to ask a staff member for help. Those said staff members should be happy to assist you, not glare at you and seem upset because you interrupted their conversation of what they did the night before.

  • Shil

I give here every year to their garden center to buy plants, they have great variety for those who are gardening enthusiasts. Also, if you go towards the end of May you'll find most plants at a reduced price. This year they had amazing succulents, also, they have great collection of different roses every year. I got a few flowering plants

  • Taiwo Lemboye

From all my visits to Canadian Tire stores across the city, this store in Windermere is the one with the most poorest customer relationship and service. The service I received from the cashier was poor and was rudy as well. I am only giving this store a 1 star because its large and they carry a variety of items to choose from.

  • Tolu Balogun

Huge store. One of the best and neat Canadian tire store. There is a new party city shop inside this Canadian tire. There are many varieties of items sold here. Home improvement items, office items, sport items, toys, toiletries, bikes, automobile, etc. It is a very well planned store. Free Parking is available for customers.

  • Tazer

Very disappointed today. Canadian tire has a beautiful show case for fire arms but know one to physically allow the customer to handle them. Art at good prices collecting dust for the sales to end. Canadian tire should invest into their employees and get more people trained so that stores can operate more efficiently.

  • a c

Perhaps you should consider posting that your Garden Centre doesn’t open until 8am, so people don’t show up and waste their time before that, when your online hours say you open at 7am. Also- tell your Garden staff to be a bit more friendly when people have been waiting around, and they show up at 8:10am to open up.

  • Prez “Prez” Q

I went to Auto Parts to ask for a part it showed they had in stock online. The Punjabi dude turned around after talking to his buddy and told me" if it's not on the shelf we don't have it" I asked if he could check, because it shows it's in stock online. He said, " Iam TTTelling you we are out if not on the Shelf"

  • Kyla Hermary

I have recently learned you can bring your dogs in! Such a cool experience, the dogs were great, the staff were friendly; many other dogs on site. The store is well maintained with wide aisles, could be a bit brighter but it's clean. Lots of parking, easy accessibility and it's a big store with lots of selection.

  • Brandon

Rude overpriced. Took my car in for tires. To collect the points. Tire technicians vaped in the car. looking back that the video. You can clearly see it’s a cannabis oil pen. Getting high is the customers SUV. Isn’t apart of the experience. I have two kids and this will be getting escalated to corporate.

  • Christine Purdue

Brought my car in for a tire patch recently, but it turned out to be a cracked rim. The service staff were excellent. They showed me the crack and even recommended a place that could fix it. Friendly, courteous service! That's why I continue to use Canadian Tire, especially love the Windermere location.

  • John Addison

In for a quick stop to get Christmas light clips and oil for our old oil burning car. Used the directory to get me to the X-mas lights and had a helpful suggestion from an employee about some funnels that were on sale. Just wish they would stock better Xmas light clips than the Noma ones they have.

  • Arghya Basu

I used to like Canadian Tire. They still have extensive collection. But when the is a Home Depot nearby, you would find that for the same item, Home Depot for is cheaper. Surprisingly Google Nest Doorbell was $299 at Canadian Tire, while it is $239 at Home Depot, and even at Google's online store.

  • A. D.

I always go this canadian tire never had a issues but today cashier number 4 was really rude. I was there around 3 40 pm And he is attitude was really horrible I complain to store manager I hope she did something about this guy. Canadian tire shouldn't have this kind of people work there.

  • Charlie

They should just face reality and state that 98% of the employees that work here are non white, advertise that English is their third or fourth language just to let customers know that a vast majority of the staff doesn't know the alphabet and change the name to asian tire already.

  • Robert Lasseter (Bobby)

This place is huge!! Has pretty much anything you need whether it be tools, automotive, household, sports or even pet food and accessories. The staff are amazing and always helpful!! They just gotta get more pet toys that's the only negative thing I have to say about it

  • A M

Stopped in today to look at Christmas ornaments and to our surprise (and our child’s delight), Santa was there! This was the best Santa we have ever met, he chatted with our child for quite awhile and he made our day so much brighter. Love that Canadian Tire did this!!

This Canadian Tire location is disappointing. Maybe it’s because I compare it to the South Common location. I thought for a Windermere location it would be a lot more high end. Overall it does the job but I avoid this location unless I have to go for inventory reasons

  • Mik

Auto center is consistently GREAT! they are always taking good care of us, whether we needed our new starter, or brakes, or even our tire rotation. Everything is always quick and reasonably priced. Staff is always friendly too! Thanks for being our go to car shop

  • Amit Khatkar

Overall their products are sub quality and their return policy is very bad. I would love to rename it as China tire. Staff at most locations are not friendly at all. Once a staff tried to make fun of me in-front of his colleague so I left the store immediately

  • Gilson Santos

Definitely worth having the Canadian Tire Mastercard to get more expensive items like patio furniture, Christmas trees or machinery, due to their 24-installment plan. Not the biggest store in South Edmonton, but a great addition to Currents of Windermere.

  • Anthony Bandoy

The guy at the parts and service desk on Sunday wanted me to get out of line to read this sign about warranty instead of explaining to me so he could help the people of similar race to him behind me . I went to fountain tire to buy my 1600 dollar tires .

Nick, the auto parts manager, consistently delivers excellent customer service. I’ve bought parts here for most of my vehicles and am beyond impressed every time. Efficient and attentive, I keep coming back because this guy knows his stuff! Thanks Nick

  • Nancy Jimenez

Sam at the store not only has the most complete knowledge about what’s best for your luxury vehicle when it comes to coolant but he was happy to help and attentive at all times thanks Sam pp like you make a big difference in a store.

  • Darlena Maria Arias

My boyfriend went into this location with my son to fix his lid for ball hockey and the Sports section manager was nice enough to fix it quickly for him. He was very kind as it was almost closing time. Exceptional service!

  • Barry Greba

I’ve never had a bad experience at this location and have been going here for a couple years now. It’s always clean, the staff are friendly and readily available. The auto Centre is great as well, knowledgeable staff.

  • Lauren Russo

Took my vehicle in as I had a nail in the tire. Was told it couldn't be patched and I needed a new tire which they quoted me $340. I took it for a second opinion and they patched it no problem for $40! Crooks!

  • Michael

This store is spotless and insanely well kept. It is massive. They have everything. We went late at night and everything was perfectly zoned and filled. It was crazy. Definitely will be back.

  • David Nette

Unfortunately Canadian Tire, much like Homedepot, needs help training good cashiers and staff. These are good home hardware supply stores that could be great with just a bit of tweeking.

  • Valentyna Semenchenko

This is store for the whole family - something for dad, something for mom and something for kids! For all genders and all generations. Not for the entertainment but for family needs.

  • Joseph Gebran

These guys charge for retorquing tires. A clear safety issue that they do not care about. Only place I have ever heard that does this. Nice going Canadian Tire! Cash grab.

  • Elle L

Bring back the women and mens washrooms! I am SICK of going in only to find out some guy has pissed all over the seat! I am sure I am not the only person fed up with this.

  • Faustina Ikokwu

I came in here for a Waterbottle and I left with that and more. Truly love Canadian tire runs and the service here was great as well. Always very kind and helpful.

  • Mounira Sayour

Waited for 1.5 hours for a meat grinder supposedly in stock. They could not find it. Would surely like a nicer more approachable person at the customer service.

  • Jayson Cowan

They will actually do as requested. Many tire shops today will tell you it’s their way or the highway. It's nice to have somewhere to go to get things done.

  • Griffin Edgar

Nick, the Automotive manager, is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He advised me on the best battery to buy for my vehicle. Thanks Nick!

  • Dong Kim

Based on this particular visit, pretty flawless. Got my potting soil and plant food for my folks for their perilla. Looked at tumblers. Yay.

  • NAVDEEP SINGH

worst Service by car service reception very rude the old person, manager is very nice , waste my 2 hour's for oil and filter changing .

  • Christine Gagne

I love Canadian Tire. It doesn't really matter which one you go to, everyone is friendly and they are not limited on stock.

  • Ed Dentrey

Went for a oil filter and only had the high end ones, everything locked in cages doesn't make me feel very welcomed .

  • Karl Driver

Always shop here for home appliances. Recently, bought an espresso machine, soda stream, air fryer and a microwave.

  • Nicholas Young

Kids sized trolley always makes for a fun shopping outing! But also some good things to buy, like kids ice skates.

  • Scott Reinson

Dogs on leash are allowed to enter and can help pick out their fav treats in the well stocked aisle! ‍ …

  • Arif Aziz

Automotive department is very good especially Mr. Ahmed and the manager of the department are wonderful people

  • Monique Blommaert

Good sales in the garden center. I'm still not happy about their floor staff, if you can find them …

  • Sean Gillen

It always got what I need. There needs to be a Timmy's in a Cdn tire. How iconic and convenient!!

  • CSTJeffyo0

No selection for hunting stuff. And the stuff there is double the price then cabelas

  • John C.

Great service provided by Ricia(Patricia?) at the customer service desk today.

  • Manpreet Luthra

Fyi!! One of the water refill machine is out of order. Only one is functional.

  • World Noise

They bent my door backwards so don't take your vehicle here at all.

  • matthew Devost

Good service . Only reason 4 stars workers were loud and obnoxious

  • Michael Cruz

Clean, well-lit place. Well stocked. Friendly staff.
