We recently stayed at the Cambie House for a couple of days and our experience was excellent. Beautiful tree lined streets, heritage houses and close to the hospital. The breakfasts were good with a nice selection and prepared wonderfully. Even the maintenance and cleaning staff were outgoing, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. To the owners of these B & B's, Bernice is exceptional and a huge asset to your business. Bernice should be given a huge raise for her personality, professionalism and how hard she works. Under her management we would highly recommend any of the B & B's and would gladly stay at any one of them.

Our room was tight due to the double and single bed and thank goodness for the fan as on warm days it is needed upstairs but the room was very comfortable, very clean and homey!

Beautiful B&B close to train, direct from airport to downtown, and bus stations. The Host is kind helpfull and very frienly. You can let luggage weating check inn and post check out. The breakfast was superb and the attendat kind and a very good cook. The house is a fantastic historical home with a great atmosphere. The room was clean and with all you need. I suggest the room with balcony to live some moment in quite. The neighborhood is safe and you can find also restaurant but you are close to train and bus and you can move in all the city. I was the Cambie Lodge ghost guest - I got a really late flight into Vancouver - super worried about making sure I could access a room coming in so late. Even though I didn't meet a soul, I was able to slip into a really comfortable, warm bed within minutes of my arrival. The parking was close-by, they left very specific directions, and I couldn't have been more pleased. I stayed there again, under the same circumstances the night before my flight back to Boston which left super-early. I was in late at night and out before sunrise once again - no problem whatsoever. I would most definitely stay there again - I'm just sorry I didn't get to meet my gracious hosts and enjoy some of their obvious hospitality on a more personal level.

I really enjoyed my stay at Cambie and I would definitely stay here again. I arrived earlier to drop off my luggage and was welcomed by a very nice woman (unfortunately I forgot her name) and luckily my room was about to be ready so I could check in early and it was just perfect to rest before starting my day. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, I had a great night of sleep. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly prepared food, special thanks to Bernice who was taking care of the breakfast and was so nice and making sure all the guests were well served.

Stayed in the Yew Room over the weekend. Location is good, not difficult to find and close to a train station. The person checking us in was very polite, and very clear on coming and going / checking out. Bedroom is kind of small, but wasn't much of an inconvenience as we only needed it as a place to sleep. Bed sheets and towels provided were clean. The room was for the most part clean, but throughout the stay we had to get rid of about 7 or so spiders that seemed to be hanging out in all the corners / in the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again, hopefully not during Covid, just to experience the breakfast as well.

I checked in late at 1800 and accessed the door by code. There was no one there to ask if I could get a breakfast to go in the morning as I had to be at the hospital for 0800, so had to leave before breakfast was served. The room was clean and comfortable.

Nice B&B with friendly staff. We were lucky to be on the ground floor. We didn't need to bring up the suitcases upstairs. The beds are very good, but the pillows are very thick. I asked for thinner but they were not available. Shower is wonderful, no complains! The breakfast is good and more than enough. The location is really nice. It's out of the crowded area, but many things to do in the neighborhood. Canada place is about an half hour walking.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here! All the staff were super friendly and just great in general. I loved the fact the breakfasts are cooked from scratch. Just adds a nice touch to the experience. Free parking, which to me was a major plus factor! Location wise it was great! I tend to walk about in any city I visit and this made a great central base for going into downtown and the west side of the city. And then finally the price was just perfect. Great value for money! Would most definitely consider making a return here on my next visit.

The rooms are clean and nice. There are lots of restaurants and small shops nearby aswell as a connection to Vancouver downtown. The breakfast is okay. There is not a lot to choose from (toast, croissants, a couple of different fruits and cereals and one warm choice (pancake, eggs, French toast, omlet). The breakfast is vegetarian. It takes really long for the warm meal to be ready, if you're not the first one to tell the cook what you want you can wait up to 45min before it's your turn, even though there are only 6 people ahead of you.

Glad to find this quiet and peaceful gem. Hard to believe that it is so close to a major artery into downtown Vancouver , it was peaceful and relaxing when I woke in the morning, no traffic noise at all! My room was the Oak suite which was great for myself and fellow guest , as it had two completely separate sleeping areas. My only thing that made my stay less than perfect was the firmness of the bed, but that's a personal preference thing! Hopefully will be a go to place when I visit Vancouver if space is available!

This time (in the recent past) I made the humongous mistake of booking through Expedia.ca. The fine print was extremely misleading and conflicting. Please note that the management of this b & b proved inflexible to follow through on a simple request to change dates (not cancel) and I was willing to pay the difference owed. Just a note to the consumer, do not book this b & b through Expedia if there is a fare saver and do not trust the management at the lodge to be respectful, timely and flexible.

Such a lovely BnB. The house is beautiful and nestled in a nice location and the staff are so incredibly nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Everything was perfect until I found a rat in my room. The room looked very clean, the location is very good for using public transportation and the price is reasonable (for Vancouver). The downsides are that the breakfast is given in a very short interval (8-10am) and that I walked one day and saw a rat walking in my room. I hope I was super unlucky with the rat situation and it just got in from the street

Great BnB in central Vancouver, close to the metro station but with a cosy peaceful feel to the rooms. Check in and check out was so effortless and the breakfast was lovely included freshly made cooked breakfast to order. I would happily stay again!

Wir hatten den Columbia-Raum gebucht. Hinter der Tür befand sich eine Ameisenkolonie... Obwohl wir dies mitteilten, sind wir nicht sicher ob das Personal etwas dagegen unternahm. Vis-à-vis befindet sich z.Z. eine Baustelle. Genügend Parkmöglichkeiten und Canada-Line ist auch in der Nähe.

Visited during COVID, so there was no room service or breakfast. The place was nice enough, however the room was very small, and so was the tv. The staff also yelled at us to be quiet when all we were doing was walking up the stairs to our room in the middle of the day. Decent though.

The Cambie Lodge was clean and the staff friendly. The location is a walkable distance from downtown. The surrounding neighborhood is residential, so it is quiet but also near various nice restaurants. We would definitely use this inn again on our return to Vancouver.

Was able to book a stay at a super short notice, and they made the process very easy. Delicious breakfast each morning. My room has a soft bed and an ensuite, and you can use the shared living room and the kitchen. Located in a great location for commuting.

Cute little place that's close to transit. Stayed here for one night and it was super quiet. Did not see another person the whole time. The entire place is super clean and welcoming.

Great location, very close to the subway. We had a main floor room which shares walls with the kitchen. If you get the Nanimo room you wake up when the chef starts work.

Welcoming reception by friendly and helpful staff. Clean and simple. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Delicious coffee and breakfast. Excellent location. Highly recommended.
