Get a custard danish almost every Sunday. A few rare occasions they’ve been stale. I asked the counter girl last Sunday AM for a fresh one and she went on to actually argue with me - in front of customers - that they are always fresh and that it was impossible I had a stale one, that I was lying. I 100% have had stale danishes there that I had to spit out. Like I mentioned, most of the time they are delicious, which is why I come back. Anyway, “Customer is always right” is definitely not present here, especially from that young female employee, disgusting behaviour for a great brand.

Sitting in the parking lot on NYE writing this....I went to pickup a small Cape Seed Load for my Senior Parents. The lovely lady behind the counter asked if I had plans for the nite, I mentioned I was here picking up this loaf to take to my parents as I am cooking supper for them tonite. She shocked me by not charging me for this item....my folks only eat this bread and it's the only COBBS they go to in Burlington. Happy New Year COBBS BURLINGTON TEAM, YOU GUYS ROCK

I wanted to give a special mention to the staff at the dundas street location in Burlington. They go out of their way to ensure every guest who walks in is said acknowledged with a cheerful hello with a huge smile. They always have everything freshly prepared upon entering first thing and keep the store in a very appetizing manner! Some how, there breads are more delicious each time! They make the community feel like family and have really keep the store sanitary and safe during Covid.

Arrived later in the day to pick up some chocolate croissants but they'd run out. Wasn't sure what else to get. There were three counter attendants, all very friendly. I was curious about the wide assortment of bread. A guy explained the different types. Ended up getting a sort of pizza bun thing to try, tasted good. It's clean, well organized and great selection. I found it a bit expensive.

Always delicious food and super fresh. Friendly and helpful staff and super clean in the store. People say it's pricey but you get what you pay for. Pay a little extra and you get healthier fresh breads that tastes amazing and you support local business owners

I love Cobs. Always fresh, always friendly. Good ingredients and nice people who make really delicious baked goods. The scones are wonderful, and perfect for coffee at work. I ask for extra icing (and they offer it on everything they sell) because life is short and I might as well die fat. I went there today and I'll be back again and again each week until the sun goes supernova.

A Burlington staple for us. The scones make a good gift and a guilty pleasure. It is also great if you want to get up early and grab some freshly baked bread before the world gets started. The 6:00 am open times are a surprisingly fun thing to take advantage of. It's hard to beat a fresh loaf of bread that is sti lol warm from the oven. This place is highly recommended.

Have bought scones here in the past and we have always been happy. Asked for 6, bought a few things and didn’t realize they gave and charged me For 9 and they were not cooked all the way, they were doughy in the middle not cheap either.

Excellent bread bakery. They make great breads (all kinds) every day. Love the cheese/ spinach/ etc. pull apart rolls. They also have some nice scones that are good with tea. Personally I find some of their sweet baked stuff a little too sweet for my tastes, but that is all personal preference, and their bread is always the trip focus anyway. :)

Love Cobs for many years. Staff are friendly, helpful, and focused on serving you promptly. Their speciality buns and scones are great. Recently (last few weeks) their whole wheat bread does not seemed mixed (see photo for example). Third loaf in a row with this issue. Total of 4 loafs. Hopefully quality will improve.

If you haven't been here, you need to drop everything and COME! Best bread shop in town hands down! The staff is so amazingly friendly and knowledgeable, and the bread is ALWAYS fresh. They always put out samples too, and I owe my few extra pounds around my waistline to this shop...haha.... love it love it love it.

rushed in, to get some pumpkin scones and got over charged, went back a few days later and dealt with a young professional women who solved the issue and gave me a free scone...so nice to see Cobs empowers their employees to make things right and turn a negative into positive..Great work! love their bread !

I have been to multiple locations and this one is my favorite. The products are always perfect, they have THE BEST hot cross buns when they are "in season" and the staff are always really friendly and have no problem answering questions about the product. 100% would recommend to anyone!

Great location. I tried Cobs bread for the first time about a year ago, and since then, it is basically the only bread I'll eat. It is always so fresh. Whether it's a loaf of sourdough or some burger buns, having fresh made bread from here always makes my food much more enjoyable.

When I asked the lovely young woman (with the bomb eyelashes) who served us for the cinnamon roll with the most frosting she did us one better by personally adding more frosting to the bun. Then she gave it to us on the house. 10/10 bun and 100000000/10 service. Thank you so much!

Although personally bread isn't commonly consumed, whenever I have visited Cobs in Burlington (3450 Dundas St - next to Play It Again Sports Burlington), always have a great experience. Staff friendly, smell is tremendous, options galore and easy access.

  • Ahmet Ahmet

Amazing staff, they always have a smile and genuinely seem happy to be there. Perhaps it's the wonderful smell of baked goods. Our family loves everything they have to offer.

Fresh bread that tastes like bread used to and lasts the proper time that bread should. Not like grocery store bread in a bag that lasts for a couple of weeks. Staff has always been friendly and efficient. Hats off to all of you. A good well done!!

  • Steven Johnston

Top tier bakery. You'll pay a bit more for a loaf than you would a grocery store but for the extra little bit of money it is absolutely worth it. Bread is always fresh and made with good ingredients. Their buns for sandwiches cannot be beat.

The blonde teenager who served me with some sort of tattoo on her arm was incredibly rude to me when I spoke to her at the counter. I did not catch her name but she had an incredibly poor attitude and rolled her eyes at me, the CUSTOMER. I

Always excellent service and high quality baked goods at Cobb’s. I recently placed an order in advance for a large number of scones for a work function & asked for a 6:30am pickup. The scones were made fresh that morning and were boxed &

Cannot go wrong with anything you buy here. Scones are chock full of goodness - generous amounts of berries, light and airy consistency. Unbeatable cinnamon buns and butter tarts. I stop by here often for special treats for my grandkids!

  • Chris Johnston

I can’t speak highly enough about COBS Bread Bakery. The bread and baked goods are signature and delicious. And on top of that the service is prompt, respectful and customer oriented. I have definitely found my favourite local bakery.

  • Rebecca Kent

Nice baked goods. I find the prices a bit high, but the quality is great. My favourite thing about this store, is that they bring the baked goods that were not purchased that day, to the Food Bank. Wonderful community service.

  • Tika Carpenter

Always Fresh! They open early so it's a great stop on my commute! They have many kinds of loafss/bun and sweet treats such as scones, cinnamon buns, and tarts. A lil on the pricey side but it shows in the quality.

  • Minty Mocha

Nice cashier, really friendly but not too chatty. The pumpkin scones are the best things I've even tasted, hands down. If you ask for one, NEVER ever skip the frosting on top because you're missing out

  • Alex

Fantastic walkable spot in the neighbourhood for fresh bagels, sweet and savoury baked goods. Scones are an all time favourite, while the bagels are a new addition to the line and are quite delicious.

  • Kim Nolan

Right now, we're loving the scones. We've tried apple and cinnamon, chive, blue berry, raspberry, plain and they have a dairy free dessert: custard and blueberries is what we picked today …

  • Maryann Jurcich

Can’t wait until the one in Hamilton opens. Love the cheese bread. I make sandwiches on it. The scones are delicious! So full of fruit and/or chocolate. Must try the raspberry white chocolate.

  • Andrew Sosnkowski

MMMMM bread. Huge fan of the white loaf and the cinnamon buns, but you can't really go wrong with any choice, at least I haven't. Staff is friendly as well, which is always a bonus.

  • Margaret Walczyk

The sourdough loaf is amazing and a constant staple in our house. Also highly recommend the Cinnamon Scone and Mini FODMAP Loaf. Will keep coming back!

The bread are so good. Love getting the Turkish buns. The staff are really kind! Gotta go early in the day. Some of the favorite buns are gone by 4pm.

I had such great service from abi, she was so friendly and the blueberry scones were amazing. I really hope to come again …

The most amazing bread you will ever eat. I love their Hamburger and hotdog buns the most.
