Normally I would give them 5 stars for magnificent views over Ha Long Bay and an experienced Canadian pilot. Unfortunately a very unreliable service where flights often get cancelled for “technical reasons”, despite the fact that they have at leadt 2 seaplanes in Hanoi Noi Bai airport. Be prepared to be sent 3-4 hours in an overcharged car instead in the last minute....Moreover they claim it takes 30 working days to do the refund. To us it felt like if the plane is not at full passenger capacity they do not bother to pick you up for the return. I get the impression they just want to rip you off.

We would have liked to do a scenic flight over Halong Bay. However they have a very strict cancellation policy and only operate scheduled flights at certain times. Whenever we enquired they were fully booked or the flights were not taking part because you need to be 4 people to make a booking. It would have been nice to just pay an additional charge. To me it felt like they didnt really need the customers and were not customer-oriented, so I can only give two stars.

FLIGHT CANCELLATION - CONFIRMATION -- HAA - 17386 My flight was cancelled in Jan 2018 due to bad weather and was advised a refund of $970 US would be processed within 14 days. It has been a month and still waiting for refund- need to be cautious of this company and refunds are not processed promptly however all payments are required in full upfront.

The flight from Hanoi to Halong Bay was the highlight of my vacation. Magical doesn't even start to describe how wonderful it was to see Halong Bay from above and land in the water. The scenery was breathtaking and we had an incredible experience with Hai Au Aviation. The entire process was easy and great. I highly recommend flying there!

Fabulous end to a cruise around Halong Bay by booking the seaplane tour and seeing the amazing geography of the special location from the air. The experience of taking off and landing on water is not to be missed. The company is highly professional and the aircraft clearly maintained to a high standard for public transport.

My family had a wonder experience during the trip on the sky: scenic flight above Halong Bay and back to Hanoi. The fantastic flight ! You can see a lot of islands on Ha Long Bay that you have never seen. The flight start smoothly and the crew member is very nice and friendly. I wish I have a chance to fly again.

A must have experience of Halong. Extremely supportive staff. The booking process went smooth. The Pilot and co-Pilot were friendly people. The take-off, Landing and the flight was exciting.
