Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a staff member named Stephen, who was on duty at the Rockdale Bunnings store on the 2nd of July 2023 at 16:00. I regret to inform you that our experience with Stephen was highly disappointing and unacceptable. The incident occurred when my partner and I visited the store in search of toilet seats. We were unsure which item would be suitable for our needs, so we spent considerable time examining the various options available. Given that many of the products were located on the top shelves, it was challenging to determine their dimensions from a distance. Coincidentally, we noticed an opened package with a damaged box nearby. I picked up the item, carefully read the dimensions, and slid it out of the box for closer inspection. It was at this point that Stephen approached us and inquired about our requirements. However, instead of offering assistance, he rudely accused us of opening the item and implied that we should have sought help if we needed anything. Despite our immediate attempt to explain that the item was already opened when we found it, Stephen disregarded our explanation and continued to lecture us about the perceived rudeness of customers opening products. Unfortunately, he seemed unwilling to listen and abruptly walked away, leaving us shocked and upset. Despite the unpleasant encounter, we still wished to acquire a new undamaged version of the same item. However, as Stephen had already walked away, we had to spend an additional five minutes locating another staff member for assistance. To our dismay, we encountered Stephen once again. During the second encounter, Stephen's behavior was even ruder and more confrontational. He served us with an unwilling attitude, denying the availability of the item we were seeking, despite it being clearly visible to us. As he retrieved the item, he continuously accused us of opening the box and insinuated that he was retrieving the same item we had opened. Despite our repeated attempts to explain the situation, he did not accept our explanation and repeatedly emphasized that it was "the BOX THAT YOU HAVE OPENED." Frustrated by his aggressive demeanor, I intervened by asking him if he was done, and we promptly left. To summarize, we are utterly appalled by our encounter with Stephen. Firstly, he failed to offer assistance when we clearly appeared confused and in need of help. Moreover, we are deeply disappointed by his false offer of assistance, which quickly transformed into a scolding session. This entire situation could have been avoided if he had simply inquired about the item's condition and accepted our response in good faith. After scolding us, Stephen seemed to forget that we still required assistance, despite his initial offer. When we approached him for assistance a second time, he refused to help us, claiming that the item we requested was not in stock and unsuitable for our needs. When he ran out of excuses, he resorted to repeatedly accusing us of asking him to retrieve an item that "WE HAVE JUST OPENED." Even when he finally handed us the item we needed, he continued to argue with us. We strongly believe that Stephen's behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. Furthermore, we suspect that he may have racially profiled us, as individuals of Asian background, assuming that we would be less likely to assert ourselves or argue against his accusations. We find it disheartening to consider that such behavior might not occur with customers who conform more closely to Australian stereotypes or possess different physical appearances. To establish the truth of the matter, we kindly request that you review the CCTV footage, which will undoubtedly validate our innocence in this situation. We kindly request a formal response to this complaint and urge you to address to Stephen

Should be a -5 star rating at the very least!!! Ordered ethernet cabling online, for Click & Collect, APPEARED AVAILABLE & IN STOCK! Well they happily took my money for it! Got confirmation of payment, and very vague indication of when it would be available. Waited a few days heard nothing. Happened to be near the store so thought why not a pop in. No one at Click & Collect desk, phone ringing "off the hook"! Had to chase someone up from the store "Greeter / Door Security" role. Finally someone showed, I explained my situation. After some fumbling through order records, was told it was a SPECIAL ORDER (what the??) and would have to wait for advice back (e-mail etc.) but should have advice in a few days, I COULD GO LOOK MYSELF and if found the goods in store they could arrange for me to take them. None in store, OF COURSE! A few days later I did get an e-mail, was told the item is NOT JUST OUT OF STOCK but NO LONGER AVAILABLE FROM THE SUPPLIER, took another week to refund my money! Software is suppose to track levels of stock right, that is it's purpose right? That would then mean what you advertise as available, IS AVAILABLE! Only one supplier for ethernet cable to Bunnings? They are happy to take payment for goods that they can't confirm an ability to supply? In the mean time, while the refund was going through I got what I needed from JB HI FI took less than two days, Click & Collect easy and ended up just slightly cheaper! But it don't end there, oh no! Got an e-mail request from Bunnings to do a customer review (lol), so was more than (more than!) happy to do that. Provided one titled "Bunnings doesn't have a clue" (lol). I used no profanity etc., kept to the facts. Submitted it, (lol) got a RESPONSE BACK (lol) saying they could not accept my review, was "heart broken" at the news (lol). Well Bunnings hope you see this review and while your at it check out the glowing one I put on the JB HI FI website also! This whole situation just confirms what I've known for a long time, Bunnings is only in business because it has a monopoly / strangle hold on the hardware etc. sector. It's just easy for people to go to their big barns! People put up with the bad service, ineptitude, unprofessionalism etc. out of convenience! But not me, and not anymore! I will now make it my mission to shop via other suppliers, because they may have big barns everywhere, but they are not the ONLY and CERTAINLY NOT THE BEST (SUBPAR AT BEST) retail etc. suppliers in town and in the game!

Bunnings is a very large store. In summer it's very hot in there, so don't go there in the heat of the day. Parking is good if you go at the right time of day. If you go when everyone else goes, for example, Saturday during the day, you will have more trouble parking. Staff are very helpful, but it's hard to find them and you often have to wait for assistance. I have bought a few things from there that didn't work and they don't always keep good quality products. You need to be discriminating. I bought a whipper snipper that didn't snip anything it was so lacking in power. You need to do your research before you go there. They don't stock all brands, of course, so if you want a particular feature in a product don't expect them to know everything or to stock what you want. I don't think they have enough expert staff on the floor to help customers, even in the quiet times, which is discouraging for me as I must rely on advice not being a tradie myself. But having said all of this, they stock a wide variety of products and their opening hours are great, nearly every day of the year, so overall they deserve their 4 stars. Just wish there was more assistance on the floor.

I used the click and collect service for what I needed and then, as you do, I browsed to see what I wanted. The staff member was friendly and helpful. One thing I did notice is that unlike my local stores there not groups of staff standing around chatting and unavailable to assist customers that are looking for an item or advice. As with all Bunnings stores they should have experienced trades people to assist as know that they have a product if you ask for it is not the same as talking to someone experienced that gets what you’re doing and what you’re after and can make recommendations. I understand that young people need jobs, but Bunnings used to be the place you went to and spoke to an older person with some trade background and life experience to be able to assist the shopper that is not too sure what they need. In other words (to Bunnings as a whole), please bring back the more experienced older people

Incredibly terrible customer service. We booked a stair trolley on a Saturday to be able to move our furniture. When we came to the store, there were no trolleys available. All the event was handled unprofessionally as the staff mentioned they could do nothing about it. In particular Hunter and Ariel at the information desk were rude, and we had to struggle to ask them to find a solution. Hunter continuosly slammed the phone in front of us and other customers at his desk and startled my partner, and even after she asked him to stop, he continued. At he end, we were given a new trolley, disassembled, that we had to put together to make it work, and according to Hunter, we were in luck, almost as if this was a favour they were making us. All this could be avoided if we were presented a solution earlier or if the staff had acted professionally and at least willing to help.

Some staff does not know which items are located on which aisles. Asked 2staff there and both got it wrong ended up taking a long walk until we come across with what we were looking for. Self serving station operating only 2machines out of 4, congesting the customer queue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- visited 04/02/2023. Do not copy your key at this place. I had to come back 3times to get redone as all the copies they made did not work. Their explanation was on the machine, and I was advised not to blame on their staff. I simply don't really care if it's the machine or the staff, it's annoying enough when you have to go back multiple times for the same reason especially when you live 20mins away from the store. Try Kingsgrove. They did at one go. Legends.

I live nearby and over the years I frequently shop in Bunnings-Rockdale. Service is getting BAD. Don't expect somebody from the staff to assist you because some of them "only work there to get paid" and not to help. Some of them can't speak properly and has no clue what Bunnings have. Most of the staff nowadays are not friendly, no happy face at all. You need a lot of time if you shop there because you have to wait (for ages) until somebody will come to help. Try asking somebody and you will be like a pingpong ball. You will be directed to the wrong aisle, and the next staff you will ask will also direct you to a different aisle. Unlike before, straight away the staff will accompany you to the right aisle and help you find what you need.

We all have the same expectation whenever we go inside any Bunnings -- awesome staff, well-organised goods, clean surrounding and of course the playground where we let our kids play. But Bunnings Rockdale is a bit different because of its unique playground that catches a child's attention: their play bridges hanging way up high. It's full of fun for children alright, and it's a safe place for kids to enjoy while the grown-ups do their shopping around. Beside the playground is cafe where you can have a cuppa or snack while watching your kids in the playground. This place gave our family a wonderful shopping experience, rather than calling it errands. I really hope more Bunnings would have this kind of setup for the whole family to enjoy.

The most LGBTQI phobic team I ever come across all bunnings in whole Sydney metrpolitan area, I work all around Sydney and bieng in almost every bunnings but all on one side and this bunnings on other, the lady at entry never smile and look upset looking at me and trying to examine me if I am girl or guy and the lady work on tool section miss gender me the other day and today the man on tools shop look like I am criminal getting in tool shop. I thought bunnings have strict policies regarding inclusion . Please try to improve your employee education regarding inclusion by choosing who truely and really are open mind and friendly to every living bieng not who write that only on paper and pretending that when applying for job.

  • Lzy Judy

Horrible experience @Rockdale shop!! I bought nearly over $300 products in the store. After checking out, a young female customer service officer crumpled my invoice into a ball in front of me, like toilet paper and threw it into my shopping basket.I asked her if this was my invoice. She said yes arrogantly. No explanation, no reason to treat customers so rudely! Very bad attitude, not even basic respect! Is there no one running this company? Doesn’t anyone read online customer feedback?? Are we still in year 1900? The terminal no 42175715 @6:19pm 1 Dec23, Rockdale shop. Please review your CCTV. Her rude behavior can be used as a model for your training materials. She needs to be trained!!

The worst Bunnings I have ever been to. The staff don’t even know the most simplest of questions and can’t even direct a customer to an area that may have the item. They are consistently short staffed and the line up to pay is an absolute joke. Not because it’s popular but because there is one staff member that takes their time and has no idea of the concept of customer service. Something that should take 10 minutes to get takes Me on average 1hour due to the mis direction, lack of knowledge of staff and the total disregard to what the customer is after. Will try and avoid at all costs unless I have a spare couple of hours and want to waste time waking around not being assisted in any way.

Very poor bunnings very poor. For such a large company you should hang your heads in shame. I ordered a part 2 days ago got my confirmation and then nothing. Tried calling, was on hold over an hour and eventually I gave up. Tried using your chat and that was pathetic, it's just an automated robot which takes you round and round in circles and back to the beginning. Finally I also sent an email with still no response to cancel my order. It's amazing how other big company's have adapted but bunnings just can't get I right. Not sure I'll be buying online with bunnings again. Second time I've ordered and both not great experience.

This happened last year but just got reminded about it and it still makes me angry. Met the absolute rudest staff member ever! Realised a tub I bought was cracked when I got to the car so went back in to exchange it. Returns desk guy was super helpful and told me to just go grab a new one, but when I passed the receipt checker (girl, 20s, dark hair, possibly Indian/SE Asian?) out front she insisted I'd never been to the returns desk. Didn't even ask, just scoffed and rolled her eyes and ended up waving me away dismissively when I told her to go check with the returns guy. Haven't returned to this Bunnings since then!

  • Joyce Castro

This woman just literally ruined our day! Unprofessional service! If you ever have something to deal with, make sure to avoid the lady SOPHIA!/ SOFIA! However you spell it!!! had to return a 400 dollar equipment to this shop but been DISRESPECTFULLY managed by this lady! Accusing that if we really paid for it and called the guard! The manager wasnt there and I cannot accept the way we have been treated! We have the receipt and also showed the transaction through our bank app, I cannot believe how she reacted this way! I really wish this lady be sacked from bunnings rockdale! She's not for customer service!

  • L. WD

I have 2 Bunnings close by and I choose this (the slightly further) because the staff & security at Rockdale aren't over the top and fake like the other location (I must be the only one who hates that staff are forced to say "hello" to everyone they walk past & when the door security treat you like a criminal before you even walk in). Range is good but the plant selection could be a little more diverse, with more fruit tree varieties. Overall suggestion; paint section needs someone experienced with colour theory & painting, I'm sure it would be less stressful for the staff and better experience for the customers.

  • NilangeMarries Anna

Brought a blind in for refund with receipt. Was asked if I declared this on the way in. Lady from the front asked ‘how come you didn’t declare it on the way in’. This is not my job that I need to know this and there is no policy on the entrance of the store to indicate that an item has to be declared on the way in. I know about declaring on the way out but not IN. Next they had to check the cameras for to see if we did in fact take the item into the store. Never in my life have I felt so accused of being closely labelled as a thief just for a simple refund.

  • Robert Mills

Bunnings is a great place to find and buy all your favourite items...I highly recommend going there for the value for money and simply to browse and enjoy all on offer...flip the coin and the main reason you wouldn't want to go there...remember all the wonderful TV advertising helpful and friendly staff...remember how they are all busting to help you find what you are looking for....sorry folks...all those staff members are either on their break.. at lunch....their day off....on holiday...or fired and no longer work there!

  • Dimitri K

What can I say, went there for a few items got myself lost and asked assistance from an employee who gave me a lot of grief , I just had enough so I walked away never to return to this establishment again His name was Lionel from paint department. Apparently I am not the only person to complain about him, maybe he should be educated in how to talk to customers, you probably spend mega dollars on advertising trying to get customers into your store only to loose them to the opposition when I was there in the first place .

  • Coti Cibils

I am highly disappointed with Bunnings customer service. I have been at least 5 times into different stores and I can’t get anyone to help me with what I am looking for. Your employees are lovely, but if you don’t give them a training on the area they are working on they would never be able to help regular people like me that needs a bit of a hand in this area which I am not an expert . I don’t think it’s impossible as Easy Argentina has an amazing customer service. Please invest in trainings.

  • Robin's Approach

Because of one staff at the counter (1 guy), I am giving you one star. I asked for one item, he said that you guys don't have it. I kindly tried to confirm and asked if he was sure or should I talk to somebody else. He said that he is sure but I still went to ask some other guy and he was able to help me. Please tell your staff if they don't know, please say they don't know and not to provide wrong info (and refer us to somebody who might know). The other 2 persons I talked to were awesome..

  • Steven Kratsas

Staff here don't know their own store return policies. Not only are they not aware of their own store return policies but they openly attempted to lie to me about their returns policy contrary to what is published on the website. The manager continuously lied to my wife and I about the returns policy and then about the value of the item we bought that was faulty. Whether it is poor training, or disingenuous actions from management, not sure what is worse. Never coming back here again!

  • purnima joshi

Oh my god what an experience that was. I wanted some info about the kinds of timber and other stuff for my redecoration. I went to bunnings coz why not. The lady there was soo helpful.. I think Pratikshya is her name. I didn't really buy anything at that time but still provided me all the info that I wanted.. It actually gave me idea as how to do all my re-decoration and what stuff to use.. well done bunnings !! Cheers ...!!

  • Ali Bokdad

If there were a 0 star options I wouldn’t have hesitated to select it. We went it to buy chairs and they were the last few sets, we realised that there were scratches and the item was damaged. They refused to give us a discount with not even a cent. This didn’t annoy the most the thing that annoyed me was that they lied to our faces saying that the chairs were unfairly although they were literally damaged ! Not happy.

  • Marie-Hélene Aquèmann

RUDE STAFF AT THE PAINT DEPARTMENT! Went to go and purchase some paint to repaint walls. As I went up to this Asian guy working there, his attitude and tone needs to be improved. I thought going to Bunnings meant that customers were able to have some friendly consultations with the staff. Instead, I received such a hostile and IMPATIENT staff feeling annoyed at my queries. Not going to be visiting this Bunnings again.

  • M B

The female manager is a joke, rude and disrespectful, tried to charge me full price for a pair of boots that had no sole inside!! with the reason being “we are not a charity” if your not a charity why are you trying to sell products with missing parts for full price learn how retail works love. The rest of the team on the other hand were helpful and well mannered sad they have to answer to something like her.

  • Kerry Taylor

Their too busy to serve and its hard to ask a 16-8 yr ild if i should buy this battery mower? $500: or petrol! Well how heavy is the battery one? I don’t know and I can’t take it out of box to see. Dum i know. I bought it and returned it. They continually stall. But they have alot of stuff. I think they need to employ Seniors. U know the kind that use to fix their own cars or fence or….. Keri

  • ramon ms

Better service than all the other bunnings by far. Staff came up to you to see if they can help immediately. Such a better experience, instead of chasing staff for help. They knew exactly where in the store the items I wanted was, and were able to articulate it, rather than asile 17 find it yourself, I'm too busy chatting with staff that I've experienced many times in other stores. Thank you.

  • Sally T

We popped in here to quickly buy something specific on Sunday, an hour later we were still there finding more 'stuff' to buy. It's always the way.... Bunnings is a fabulous place, it's so well organized and well stocked, you can find most items that you need. The staff are really helpful for directions or assistance and instructions. They also have great sales and reductions.

  • Kaye Johnstone

Very disappointing. Not enough staff due to high rate of absentee of people which is putting a lot of strain on the ones left to do their own job as well as someone elses without being paid the extra they deserve. By the time they are taxed on overtime, it's not worth the extra hours put in by them, can't blame them for saying no, they feel under appreciated and rightly so.

  • CM L

Where are the workers who know something about their products at Bunnings?? I used to be able to talk to any worker there, and they happily answered questions and helped choose products or gave suggestions. Now, no one is around to help, and some are sour faced, at the counters. All I wanted was gutter guards, which I bought previously there. None to be found now. So sad.

  • Mike Mike

Without doubt the worst Bunnings on the planet - staff are just not there and not helpful and when you do ask, it’s like I interrupted their day, stock is all over the place and finding what you need is like an Indiana Jones movie the pitfalls and traps - the parking out side is squeezed into tight you need lube to get in your car - overall not worth wasting tour time

  • S K

Always out of stock of everything you need or not regular considered stock at this Bunnings. 3 years later and this is still the case. End up going to other bunnings to buy stuff. Booked a trailer, broken. Need some cleaner, out of stock, need some gardening mulch, don't stock it at all. Staff are friendly but what's the point when the store doesn't have anything.

  • Marg Enn

Very happy with the customer service I received today. I asked what aisle I could find curtain accessories. Not only was I given the exact l aisle number but exactly where to find the item. To my delight it was exactly where I was told it was. Well done to this staff member. Unfortunately I didn't not get her name, if so I would have acknowledged her by name.

  • Peter Johnston

Like all Bunnings stores, they have everything that you will need to complete all those odd jobs around the house. The missing star is that there is so much stock variety it is difficult to see the forest for the trees sometimes and staff can be difficult to find. That being said, when you do find someone to help they are always friendly and know their stock.

  • Ryan Watters

Went there exchange a faulty caulk gun the bloke Howe just wanted to argue the fact he thinks it’s fine when I clearly stated I’ve bought over 20 of theses guns in the past 7 years an told him it’s not right he wouldn’t lift a finger to help just told me to move on , very disappointed now on the job with a broken gun when he could of just exchanged it…………….

  • Lillian Bonomini

Attending Bunnings very helpful. Telephoning Bunnings - very unhelpful and dismissive! Simply wanted to know if they had a particular item in stock prior to attending. They simply kept asking if I’ve checked their website - um no that’s why I’m calling -and then put me on hold for 11 minutes after which I hung up which is what they were hoping for!!

  • Henry Chandrajaya

Big warehouse with a decent assortment of items. The sections were clearly outlined, like any Bunnings warehouse stores. Finding what I needed was easy and hassle-free, with the help of helpful staff on top of what was already an easy sectioning of items. Parking was plenty, and I found a spot right away. Easy and pleasant experience, easy 5 star.

  • Our First Boat

Would of gave 5 stars but some of the employees there are not very helpful. I asked one guy who was in the pair department, a question he said read the back of the tin, I asked I know this but just asking for advise, he said the best I can do is tell you to read the back. Not even offering to get someone who knew more about the product.

  • Peter Kimber

Despite the size of the place every aisle was clearly labeled and finding the type of product I wanted was quite easy. The range of products was extensive and I found what I wanted in the price bracket I was prepared to pay. The shopping experience was fairly painless and I would recommend Bunnings to anyone looking for hardware.

  • Jenny Shore

Heaps of stuff here, including kitchen and bathroom fixtures and fittings, flooring and paint in addition to classic hardware items. I think they even have plants. Was able to find what I wanted quickly thanks to their website directing me to the exact location (aisle and bay numbers). If it was cheaper I'd give it 5 stars, lol.

  • Shradhey

It's a good Bunnings. There is plenty of parking outside. You can get most products here they have a good range of products. It's not one of the small Bunnings. It's not far from the Rockdale station but it's not easy to get to by train or bus. You are better of to go by your own car. This is the only short coming of this store.

  • Andrew F

Appreciated how compared to other Bunnings I’ve been to, the products in the nuts, bolts, and screws section were actually organised properly and not all scattered in the wrong containers. It’s clean, with a good selection of products. Would have given 5 stars but the lady who served me at the returns section was rude to me.

  • T Taylor

I was served by a lovely lady named Justine in the nursery today who was knowledgeable and gave me some great advice on how to re-pot my lemon tree. Good customer service and they have just about everything although can improve on the range of pots that they have. Not a huge variety but apart from that I enjoyed my visit.

  • Tony Ng

Spoke to 3 different staff members to help with a special order. All said someone can come and assist. Patiently waiting and still nobody came. 4th staff member came and said someone else can come and help in 5 to 10 minutes. Guess what...nobody came...must be a tough gig to process a special order...never realised

  • Gino Naidoo

There are good staff members, who helped and made the effort to check for stock which was not on the shelf. One elderly staff member just checked the shelf and said there is no stock although I mentioned the records show 15 boxes in the store. Thank you to the staff member who helped to pull out 2 boxes of tiles.

  • Michael Drew

Maybe I arrived at staff changeover time, but several of us roamed the place for quite some time trying to find a staff member to provide assistance. We were finally told there would be a staff member to assist if we waited one hour. We didn't. Otherwise an excellent array of products at reasonable prices.

  • Rob Stevens

Who doesn't like Bunnings? Well, I know a few, but they are the minority :). Only problem this time was that there was no BBQ, but being holiday season it may have been hard for them to organise a charity to attend to cook one etc. Friendly staff who were very helpful in locating items we required

  • Raphael Schuller

Everything you may need, you can find at Bunnings. My first time there and I was amazed by all those stuff they sell. And the best is the price. You can find cheap good stuff, and you can find expensive even better stuff. Depends on what you want. But, just go and take a look. Worth the try.

  • George Niotis

Click and collect is a joke. No one answers the phone. They gave us something we didn't order. Then when we went to exchange, they didn't have what we wanted even though their website said it was in stock. Typical of bunnings. Even when you are looking for assistance, they seem to avoid you.

  • Anita Holland

Bunnings is a great store almost has everything, today I needed a remote control battery ☆ yes. Drop sheets in all different sizes to cover furniture yes I've purchased many items over the years at Bunnings, always satisfied with prices and products. Thank you Bunnings!

  • Omar Shum

bad service. bought a kangaroo paw, scanned as $11.98. Told them it's wrong it's $8.49. They wouldn't believe me and told me to go take a pic. Still said no, it's another kangaroo paw of different size. She knows cause "she works in nursery". You be the judge. This place is a joke.

  • andrew farrugia

Best Bunnings in the area. Everything you need on one level Shoutout to Yianni C, who I ran into in the tool shop and was able to be very friendly and helpful to myself and other customers as well as his team members in the short space of time I was there. 5 stars …

  • R

brilliant customer service from Luis this morning, walked the store and found the item as i waiting on the phone as sometimes the stock on hand when low is different from actual stock - what a champ this team member is (this store always has stock, the team here are on the ball)

  • Elisa G Penar

Well done staff for taking me for a walk to 25 isles. I am lack of exercise due to pandemic so I am greatful for your help and for being approachable. I will be shopping with my motorised cart next time coz I am way to 200kgs. Seriously, thank you Bunnings management and staff.

  • M MAN (MMAN)

Located at the back of Rockdale plaza. Entry can be gained from West Botany street or from the Prince's Highway through Rockdale Plaza. Great Bunnings. Always Happy Helpful staff. All shelves were stocked and I found everything I needed plus more. Great store and experience.

  • Joanna Karageorgis

Big shout out to Keryn from special orders for her outstanding customer service. Ordered a kaboodle kitchen with her for my workplace, she made the process so simple for me. She was always in contact with me with updates and was so easy to talk to. Thank you so much Keryn!!

  • Edgar Badawy

Was sent there from the Kingsgrove store looking for a very simple item, which they had 24 off. The old style toilet roll inner holder spring plastic bit. Couldn't locate the small item but the staff there was very helpful and looked and looked until he found them.

  • Elton Morales

Nice and neat Bunnings store with all the trimmings. Unfortunately the parking area is a disaster which I believe isn't Bunnings Rockdale fault but will stop me from shopping here in future. The parking area way too crowded and busy so best to leave kids at home.

  • Katie Procter

Really disappointed in the experience I've just had. very little pedestrian access, especially hard with a Pram! went here to get child safety rail only to find there is no designated pedestrian access Into the store. . Only via the main roads. Do better please.

Very terrible customer service for the mid-day shift. Asked two staffs for assistance, and waited more half an hour, and still no staff came to assist with my queries. Joshua wearing a Christmas reindeer hat does not seem to know what he is doing at all.

  • Roman G

Meh! Service was average took 15 minutes to get someone’s attention for click and collect. Staff standing around looking at you but avoiding servicing you. Took a nice lady to come over in the middle of the 10 things she was doing to just assist us

  • Thimitra Kallaras

The young girl tonight that decided once she served the lady in front of me she was done serving. All tills were shut ( just before 5.30pm ) and she took off to go and talk to her friend at the front. I've had nothing but great service at

  • Christian Stewart

Stay away. Poorly managed. Severely under staffed on a Sunday morning only one checkout open and self checkout not even open because they didn't have anyone to work it. Came in to have keys cut and they young man told me to come back that

  • l P

What a skill it must be to serve (if that is the correct term) a customer and continue a conversation with a colleague over your head about where to stay when you go away on holidays. An even greater achievement to do all of this without

  • Omar Tee

Whilst overall service is ok, I find it is difficult to get good advice like I use to. A lot of staff can't assist with meaningful advice on supplies needed for certain uses etc. and often say they have to get someone else who knows more

  • Gisella Candi

I was in there for under 5 minutes and all of the staff members I encountered were obnoxious, more interested in talking amongst themselves then serving customers, and overly loud. I love Bunnings, but no way am I going back to Rockdale.

  • Fabiopaim Paim

I am so disappointed with Bunnings online shopping while lockdown. The click and collect takes at least 5 days to receive a confirmation when to pick up. This is not a DELIVERY to my home address. This is a PICK UP which means that I am

  • Alicia Chan

Super helpful staff in the tool section, went above and beyond to try and find the item we were after. I'd suggest some extra security for separate little parts for tools as the stock numbers were quite inaccurate, probably due to theft

  • David Todaro

Ordered Rubber GYM Mats online, came within two days which was great. Had an issue with three of my mats and they replaced for me with no issues. It was pleasant to deal with the team and was not a headache. Would highly recommend them.

Bunnings Rockdale offers a vast assortment of home improvement and gardening products, catering to both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. The store layout is spacious, making it easy to navigate through different sections. Staff are

Update: got a call from Bunnings stating they were very sorry about the delay. They updated my drill driver order with a more expensive version for the same price. They also discounted the overall order. Looks like itll all be ready

  • Sahe Alam

Very big space place. All staff are very helpful and nice. You can find anything what you need for you home, garden, equipment, tools, plants and even if u r moving out. I went there for move&wrap boxes. Its very cheap and good.

  • Radames Cintra

It is just like any other bunnings. Plenty of parking, but you may need to look around to find a spot on busy days. The store has a rental van and a couple rental trailers so you can take your items home. Overall pretty good.

  • Ryan “Thingsthatkeepmebusy” B

Coffee was only ok. As at any Bunnings staff are hard to find and often grumpy when you do find them they are however able to give good advice and are helpful. I found the team in the paint section to be extremely helpful.

  • Niki Vasiliadis

Bunnings pretty much has everything you need for garden, home DYI, tools etc but assistance from staff is difficult to find. This definitely needs improving. Weekdays is best as store is a lot less busy than weekends.

  • Matt Burns

The staff there are great, especially Shannon Watson, who helped me with a special order, and another lovely Filipino lady who knows where everything is, and I mean everything. I love Bunnings. Thanks everyone …

  • Vi Ly

Accessible from two different roads. Slightly smaller in feel than other ones I've been to but handy location. Service is fine. Always a spot in the car park even though it's smaller than other locations

  • Stephen Cardno

Good but sometimes can have stock issues. Many times I had to drive to a different bunnings because they had run out of a item. I do check online now before going but sometimes you are not sure of part.

  • Claudia Goldblatt

Our local Bunnings is great. Vicki is wonderful! So helpful and generous and went out of her way to make our visit great. She also made sure my kids had a great time which always helps thanks! …

  • Lisso Mani Joseph

Plenty of parking.lots of expertise people.i went there recently to purchase a mesh door lock.I have no idea about how to select it and fit it.They helped me to do it.I will recommend to everybody.

  • mike aubrey

Easy to shop. Staff were very helpful and polite Love the aisle and bay numbering system made shopping a lot faster after I checked with the website. Website could be a little more user friendly

  • Qasim Raza

Mostly I go for the plants and gardening supplies. The store had a small variety of plants but was well stocked. Quality of plants was disappointing, lots of pests and dead plants hidden away.

  • Adam

Customer service : ✅ Parking: ✅ Anything and everything you're looking for ✅ Opening hours : ✅ Return policy: ✅ I sometimes wonder, how difficult would life be if Bunnings didn't exist...

  • Bipin bajracharya

I felt a racism today from team member omesh. He was not polite and was not able to understand when i calmly trying to explain the situation. Bunnings should not have such racist team members.

  • Tom Bunderburg

Service is disgusting, u have to walk around the whole store to find someone to help u, and no one on the registers at the front only self serve or a huge line a the information desk. Horrible

  • John Gilbert

Untidy from the car park to the shelves! Dark, and depressing. Trip hazards everywhere. Staff are more interested in chatting, than working! Go to another store, this one is depressing.

  • Anna

Easy access and friendly checkout operator. Goods we wanted were in stock, checked website before going which tells you exactly what aisle you need, makes shopping a nice experience.

  • Alfesani Mustafa

The survers especially a the southeast girls really need to improve their service and help clients more...I'd appreciate if store was more organised and spacious like other bunnings

  • Ellie Ski

Great service from a team member named Ali - Excellent Customer Service! Knowledgeable and helpful with everything I needed and answered any questions. Would definitely recommend

  • Kent Marama

Warehouse is starting to show its age compared to the newer ones in other suburbs. Often out of stock of certain items, customer service can be a bit sketchy at times.

  • Matt Medland

Another great Bunnings though access is a bit harder due to road works but easy enough to navigate and a great range of tools and everything you need for trades.

  • Ricky Drabsch

Made me put a muzzle on the dog despite umpteen visits without a muzzle beforehand. Lucky I had one in the car, otherwise it would have been 1 star.

  • Sydboy

Vast amount of parking a friendly assistive staff. Great little district for other services such as auto/plumbing etc also available across the road

  • Ron “SuperDooperMan” T

I always find helpful assistance from staff here. Spend a lot of hours purchasing other things that were not on my shopping list. Lots of parking.

  • Annalise Broadway

Bunnings is a day out. It's really hard to pop In for one thing without leaving with a trolley. Staff here are wonderful down to earth people.

  • Justin Hou

Bought my very first Makita combo power tools from here. The staff compared Makita and other homebrands using iPhone 7 and 11 as the metaphor

  • thesydneytram

One stop shop for tools, fertilisers, plants, and many more. Most staff are nice, some look like they don’t want to be there. Good overall.

  • Natasha Fong

Great experience with John B! He helped with locating items and carrying them to the counter for me. Professional, helpful and efficient!

  • Georgios Koudounas

The staff don't know their job I tried to rent a trailer and I didn't know how they are going to do it I was delayed about 45 minutes

  • Rob Coleman

Genuine surprised by lack of lighting and generally poor cleanliness of the shop. Stock was ok, parking was good. Got what I needed.
