This is the worst customer service l ever received. They only pay attention to people that bring a lot of money. l didnt receive any good customer service until l showed them that l had money and l needed to buy 2 pairs of shoes that were expensive. l am a person that wants to buy good quality shoes that will last long time. When l was asking to try out some of the shoes, one of them pretended they didnt had the pair that l was looking for. And l guess l was not worthy enough to go look for the shoes because l had my work clothes on me. And who am l after all to get good customer service if l look like l have no money? Anyways, after l wondered around Rideau and didn't find the shoes l was looking for a had to come back to this place and l requested to sell me the 2 pairs of shoes that l chose. The sellers assumed that l am super rich and on the checkout they decided to throw a spray for the shoes that l DIDNT ask for and they charged me money for it! l would highly recommend to everyone not to go to this store if you have other options.

I recently visited Browns and I was looking for heels for my sister. The second I walked into the store I was greeted by an associate named Seth. He was absolutely amazing and so genuine. Seth went out of his way to print us a piece of paper with all the stores that had the heels we were looking for since the one we wanted was sold out. He also gave us another paper with the SKU number of the heels and instructions on how to order it in case we couldn’t go to the other Browns location. He also tried to help us find alternatives that we might actually like rather than giving us random heels. I was shocked at the fact he actually listened to what we wanted, which is pretty rare. We went to other stores in the mall and they weren’t as helpful. They didn’t really listen to the criteria we wanted. My sister and I truly appreciated the fact he was genuine and listened to us. Big shout out to Seth, keep up the good work!

Fantastic visit to this location! I recently bought a pair of shoes from here back in May. Unfortunately, they started falling apart two - three months after the initial purchase. I went in today hoping to purchase the same pair to replace the damaged ones, but unfortunately they didn’t have them in stock. Hannah, the customer service rep then stepped in and was very helpful and patient with all my requests! I ended up buying a different repair completely and with the help of Hannah and the manager Marie, they offered shipping and replacing my damaged pair at no request on my end(Marie recommended avoiding moisture to keep them looking fresh). As it was raining, I was completely soaked. Hannah even offered complimentary socks for the walk home. Grade A service from them both. I hope they’re well taken care of by Browns!

I went in the other day and there were multiple employees standing around and exactly zero other customers, except for me and my friend. I asked if they had a certain shoe model in my size and the redhead sales associate said to me "I don't know any of the shoe models by name. You'll have to show it to me on the floor." I would think knowing the product would be one of the few requirements needed to work at a shoe store. She also didn't seem interested in looking up the shoe in the system or walking with me to the shoe I was talking about. I left and went to Footlocker and they were more than happy to help me out and Footlocker was really knowledge about the products. I don't think I'll ever visit Brown's again, it was such a shameful customer service experience.

They had fake deals during the Black Friday sale. The attached photos shows a shoes which was priced as “starting from CAD$ 95.98” with discount up to 52%! I first thought that the price is based on color or size, but when I opened that particular item, the price of the shoes was either CAD$ 149.98 or 169.98, but non was priced at or even close to the advertised starting price of 95.98!!! The exact same Palladium shoes was priced CAD$ 20 less at Softmoc!! I reported that to the branch manager and she referred me to the website contact, but they handled the issue in a very unprofessional manner, and I received another promotional email with the same fake price later on the same day!!!

I was greeted immediately when I entered the store. I was looking for an evening heel and the staff surpassed my expectations by not only bringing me what I asked for, but also other alternatives (might I say less expensive options). Once I found my heels, the staff also proceeded by showing me the matching clutch, knowing my evening was a grad bal and I was in need of one. They were not pushy whatsoever; they were very helpful, friendly and polite. Thank you Kal and team for making my first purchase at Browns such a wonderful time!

My parents had gotten me a pair of boots from this location for Christmas 2022. Unfortunately they were a little small. On boxing day I went down to the store to exchange them for a bigger size. Fast forward, I recently received an envelope from them. They were kind enough to return to me a seperate Christmas present that I had somehow mixed up and accidentally forgot in the shoe box I brought on boxing day. so to whoever went through all that effort, thank you! :)

Went and bought some winter boots from here not too long ago, I went in a couple times to try on different styles before deciding. They were super helpful, although sometimes you’ll be waiting a bit if they’re busy. All the staff is super nice though. They were also extremely helpful when I had to exchange them for a bigger size. If only I had more money, I would recommend shopping here if you’re looking for some help finding the right shoe!

Two employees working the register told me I HAD to sign up with my email address to get a receipt, even when I said I didn’t want to give them my info and just wanted a paper receipt. They said it wasn’t optional but assured me I wouldn’t get any promo emails. Lo and behold, I’m getting promo emails. Are the employees getting a commission for this or something?? Very irritating.

Super service! Kahleb came to me and help me beyond what I was expecting! He noticed what I was looking and brought shoes to try! He didn't mind if I didn't touch them and there were no pressure to sell... just really awesome service! Seriously, that was just an amazing service! I hate shopping for shoes, but this time was great! This is my place to go to now on!

Outstanding customer service. I had trouble with two different pairs of winter boots this season and their response was great! Marie the manager is arguably the best store manager I've encountered. Khal is knowledgeable and only wants to see a smile on your face. There is no reason to shop anywhere else!

Horrible customer service. Let's be clear, there were 5 employees and one to two customers around. This is abysmal management. Not one of the service employees could help? Nope, two were working hard on getting the placement of the curtains, just right. In short, lost a customer, fixed a curtain.

I went here looking to buy a pair of Michael Kors sandals but had to wait some time before someone could grab my size from the back and checkout at the cash. Sales associates could be more attentive especially since I did not go during a busy hour and they were chatting amongst each other.

Question? Are Ugg winter boots are fake? Because real Ugg boots tags says Ugg Australia but in your store its says Ugg waterproof. Also, the side metal tag do not say "Event". Why would I pay 295$ for a fake Ugg? Beside that, customer services were great at the St.laurent Mall.

Horrible "service." Certain staff act like they are doing customers a huge favour by replying to a question about their product. It's sad, because I have, in the past, received very good service from male staff. Their hiring could use a serious facelift!

Browns Rideau has a great selection of boots and winter sneakers for women. Check their Sorel new sneakers. They are winterized and really light.

I find it great, but only during sales, because they offer interesting price drops sometimes, for items otherwise very expensive.

Isreal is the man! If you want to buy quality shoes/boots from someone who knows their stuff you need to look no further!
