Being a homeowner for well over 20 years, I have had my house painted numerous times by various local contractors, and companies. When a gentleman came to my door ( brilliant colours painters ) and asked if I needed a quote, I was in fact in need of window and door painting on the exterior of my home. Receiving his quote, I decided to proceed with the job, and am so happy and satisfied with my decision to do so. The amount of work and effort these men put forth to complete my job amazed me, and I am not using this term lightly. I have never seen painters use power sanders to scrape and sand my windows, which shockingly impressed me, and I took notice of these men after that. They also suggested to use a special bond primer that no other painter has used before, which they applied to the bottom of my window ledges where the rain and melting snow sit, causing premature aging and ultimate flaking of paint. I watched as they meticulously sanded then prepped and finally painted the home with precision, and if their paint touched the glass, they went back and razor bladed it off. The clean up was just as impressive as they returned a day later to windex all my windows that had sanding residue from the day before. I was so impressed with this company, I also gave them a quick job on the inside of my home, and again, the prepping, taping and actual painting was excellent, and again they returned 2 days later to look at a concern that they wanted to address after the paint dried. thank you so much Toupe, and crew for a job well done. Brilliant Colours just painted the entire upstairs for us so far and we could not be happier!!! They ensured all the details were taken care of in each of the rooms and hallways. Note that this review is only about the initial quote estimate. The initial quote stage was pretty professional. After I requested the quote someone reached out to me promptly and set up the appointment time for a time that worked for me. They then emailed me the quote and followed up since there was a mix up with the email. The initial contact with the company does make a good first impression. I have gotten 2 quotes from this place, 1st was 2 years ago and 2nd was this year. The first time they provided paperwork detailing exactly what they will do in the house painting process and the type of paint they will use. The paint is Sherwin Williams brand which is great, speaking from experience. The 2nd time I only got an email with the final estimate, no breakdown of the costs... I liked the 1st method better. In the end, the amount was too high for me and I didn't go through with the company. But I believe, emphasis on "believe" (not know) that they would've done a great job.

Brilliant Colours Professional Painters were recommended to us by a family member. I made the call to Tope from out of province, and we made arrangements for him to walk through the same day. Tope was very prompt to submit us his quote for the complete interior of our house. The quote was very reasonable and his attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Tope worked with us from out of province to choose colors and even went out of his way to pick up keys on our possession day. The attention to detail that Tope and his employees have is impeccable. The prep work was flawless, and the painting went quick as they helped us transform our new home. I connected with Tope through my neighbor who was having some exterior painting done. We had our exterior stipple siding painted very dark a couple of years ago and through hail and bird damage, there were several white spots showing through. I quickly asked Tope if he would be willing to run out and get me paint and do the touch ups. We negotiated a price and he was back within a couple of days to complete the job. I am a very busy person and Brilliant Colours made the entire process hassle free for me. House looks great again. I will keep Tope and Brilliant Colours in mind for future interior jobs for sure. I was informed of brilliant colors by a friend who had great experience using them. I called and spoke to Tope; he was friendly and informative right off the bat. I asked him if he could come and do an estimation for the wall I wanted to paint, I was happy to hear the estimation was free. He came by and looked, gave me a really good price for the job compared to other painting companies. His team came by at the arranged time and finished the job quickly and efficiently. I work for Brydges Property Management and Brilliant Colours completed a large painting project at one of my properties. They did all the window frames on 11 buildings. Their price was fair, they were prompt and accommodating. They went above and beyond what was quoted and repaired and replaced rotten wood and caulked all the windows. Tope answered all calls quickly and dealt with any issues immediately. I would definitely use Brilliant Colours again.
