Excellent view of Circular Quay and the Opera House. Lots of space to stand, good grassed area but very little seating, no public toilets nearby. You can drive in but parking is very difficult and expensive. For events, a better option is to catch the train to Milsons Point or catch a ferry. Both public transport options drop you a short, 10 minute walk away from the park (five if you're fast). NOTE - not an easy walk for older folks as it is steep in places! Don't bother trying to drive in last minute if there's an event - you'll just be sitting in traffic. Leave plenty of time for parking and walking. Awesome way to spend an afternoon. Shops at Milsons Point include takeaways, formal eating and a very good bottle shop! Short walk to a couple of independent supermarkets (currently IGAs) None of the food outlets are particularly cheap, but they aren't too bad. They are good quality and there is a good variety.

Good location for sight seeing. Good view of the city skyline. Not the best view of the Sydney Opera House but the view of the bridge is good and view of the harbour and the city buildings is very good. There are metered parking spots limited to 2 hours so better pay and then walk or sit in the car with engine running. Accessible by train as well if you get out at Milsons Point station. It's only 5 mins walk from the station. There are few benches to sit and there is also small park area to have picnic.
Playground
Some play area.
Restrooms
There are paid restrooms down below.
Dog-friendliness
Dog friendly.
Picnic area
Some grassy picnic area and some benches to sit around.

Wonderful place for picnic and chilling with family or friends. Has great view for Sydney Opera House and side view of Harbour Bridge. Also a good place for New Year’s Eve fireworks. If you don’t mind seeing only side of the Harbour Bridge. Here can fit in around 35,000 people. So if you are planning to come for New Year’s eve but don’t want to queue up too early and also looking for free entry. Bradfield Park is a good place to take your time and come around 4-5 pm and wait for the fireworks. During New Year’s eve, this place also have food stand for you to get some street food. That’s a plus. PS: this place is alcohol free zone.

Top spot to take photos of the harbour Ideal for a picnic or a stroll, this iconic park runs partly under the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and offers iconic views of the harbour, Circular Quay and the Sydney Opera House. A paved under-bridge area is ideal for strolling and having lunch. The park is linked to the Olympic Pool and Luna Park site, and to open space areas along the Kirribilli foreshore. There are monthly markets, heritage items and significant tree plantings. Please note the playground is closed from 9 March 2023 until further notice.

Some of the most iconic views of Sydney can be seen from here. Great panoramic photo spot, with wedding photographers stopping by this location on a regular basis. The park has events overt month or two, of course with the biggest one every NYE. Bathroom (paid) facilities are at the top of the hill, next to the Italian restaurant. There are is a table tennis setup beneath the bridge. Tip: it’s easy to get here by the Ferry from circular quay, and a nice experience to be out on the water if you haven’t already. Many mornings there are yoga classes, if you’re into that sort of thing.

  • Social Bee

Bradfield park has every thing you need to enjoy a lovely day at the park no matter what the occasion or age group. There is a childrens play area for kiddies to have a play while mums or dads enjoy sipping on a coffee or play dates. The play area is fenced so nanny's or nonas can look over the kiddies stress free. The park has open spaces with panoramic views of sydney's most iconic spots, the harbor bridge runs over while the park is situated right at the harbour with views of the Sydney Opera house. Luna Park is a minutes walk for a full day of entertainment.

  • Nalin Adhikari

The location is at the base of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, offering uninterrupted views of Circular Quay and the Opera House. It's ideal for a short walk, photos, and picnics and connects to other areas along the Kirribilli foreshore. Public transport is recommended due to challenging parking, and there are nearby shops and eateries. Exploring hidden green spaces for quieter views is also a charming option. ️

This park is located under the northern end of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Plenty of shade here. Excellent views of Sydney Harbour and Sydney Opera House. Great spot to grab a scenery photo. The park is positioned about 400 metres south of the Milsons Point train station, and about a 400 metre walk from Sydney's Luna Park. There's a ferry service that operates from near Luna Park - this ferry can take you across the harbour to Circular Quay or into Darling Harbour.

  • C. M.

This is the best place to take postcard worthy photos! Opera house, harbour bridge, and the CBD skyscraper of Sydney with waterfront. Easily accessible by train, bus and spaces to park cars (street parking ticket applies). There are park benches, lovely sea freeze, actually not going great for tourist, not bad for a place for a date to meet!
Dog-friendliness
There is some grass and bins around. Dog's need to be on leash as cars around and road nearby.

  • Les Saville

Loved the atmosphere. Recycle Bins set up. Clean grounds awaiting families to enjoy a BBQ or a Picnic Lunch. Viewing area closer to Sydney Harbour was excellent. On Australia Day, this area was ready for the Australian Army to position their guns for the 21 Gun Salute. Safety Regulation Barriers placed in aid of Safety. Ear Plugs handed out by the Australia Day Volunteers. Certainly an eye opening experience for everyone.

  • Phoebe Haylen

You can’t go past this spot for a view; however North Sydney council’s choice not to provide clean or even passable bathrooms is an embarrassment to our city. If they can charge folks from all over the city to park on a weekend to enjoy the bridge and harbour that the local government didn’t pay to build, you could at least provide these taxpayers a basic service. Embarrassing to Sydney.

  • Windaryatno Nugroho

Good spot to spend new year's eve from just across Opera House. It's also family friendly place. You can come earlier to get good spot to watch fireworks on Harbour Bridge here. We arrived there 6pm, so it's hard to get the best view of Harbour Bridge fireworks cause we stood near the bridge, though we still managed to get beautiful view of fireworks in front of Sydney Opera House

  • Jay RC 23 (The Octagon)

Just across the world renown Sydney bridge lies this spot. If you have the time to sit and relax and at the same time to offer your free service to keep an eye on Sydney than this is the place to be. You can see the entire city center from here and just a nice place to spend the evening doing nothing but gazing the natural and man made poster made available right in front of you.

  • N.M. L.

The park under the bridge, sought after for new year's eve, Australia Day boat races, the new years eve fireworks, and to watch the vivid display, there is car parking here but U need a ticket- no not the ticket u get from the council- the paid ticket so u don't get booked! There's also a wharf and buses, it does get cold quickly here in the evening so bring a jacket

  • EventArious cy

We went there for new year's eve. Amazing location for the fireworks. Loved every minute of it. We went there at 14;00 and we had a picninc until the fireworks started. I guess that was relatively early. You would be perfect coming even wt 20:00 or 21:00. A lot of food trucks available. Can take some time to buy food. (Slightly expensive as well)

  • Les Saville

Open air surrounded by Australian history. Sydney Harbour Bridge, clean green grass manicured to perfection. Food outlets. Exceptional display of the 21 Gun Salute by the Australian Army. Set up the four cannons in line pointing across the harbour waterway. Glad to be part of Australia Day celebration as an Volunteer with my great team.

  • Chandramouli Sonti

I love Sydney! This place is just one of the reasons for it. Stunning views of the harbor decorated by the iconic harbor bridge and opera house with the Sydney CBD in the backdrop makes this place a perfect spot to spend peaceful moments. Just sit and relax on a bench overlooking the opera house and feel the spirit of Sydney in the air.

  • Tahmid Tishat

Amazing view from down close to the bridge. If you go during the sunset, you will have a great view of the sun getting down on the other side of the harbour bridge. If you are into photography it is a great spot to capture both harbour bridge and opera house in the same frame. The photo I took was taken with an iPhone using night mode.

  • Rich Frost

This is an iconic part of Sydney for both locals and vistors, best place to view the Opera House and the city at night. Tourists can walk from the city over the bridge, jump on a ride at Luna Park, then grab some food from the many great Kirribilli cafes and catch the train from Milsons Point station back to the city.

  • D. Lundy

Beautiful location and very accessible through the sydney public transportation system. Recommend taking the train to go visit and then considering visiting luna park and the local areas just nearby - great spot and beautiful views over the harbour - arguably better than those from the botanic gardens in the city

  • J “J Ly Photography” Ly

Great place to seat and take in the view of the harbour and smell the beautiful ocean air and heard and see the train roll past on the harbour bridge with the nice warm sunny in your face. The park has a lot of open space and is great for a morning tea or lunch break where it is a good place to eat and relax.

  • Melissa Hardy

Love this place. Situated on the edge of Sydney harbour under the northern side of the Harbour Bridge with many things to see from boats, beautiful lights to spectacular Sydney skyline views too. Meter parking, catch the ferry, go Luna Park, go for a walk, or sit chat over dinner while always feeling safe !!

  • angel novale

I got married here. One of Sydney's most beautiful spots. Great views of the opera house. Parking can be an issue at certain times of the day. At night, its spectacular views of the opera house, bridge and city. Plenty of sitting areas to picnic and just around the corner is Luna Park. Worth a visit.

  • ali wahidi

I have been at this park during the daytime and nighttime, i can clearly say at night its very sexy to bring your partner as it close to the water with beautiful footpath by the water . And it have a Wonderful view of the city and the opera house at night . It is good for families with children too.

  • Briggs Jourdan

Close proximity to the train station, and boasts a stellar view of the bridge from the northern pylons and a view of Sydney City. Despite being right around the main distributor, it's actually still a quiet and serene spot to relax. Plenty of space and gentle slopes to have a picnic and monitored.

  • Paula Miranda

Stunning views of the city, Opera house and Bridge. Very easy to get there from the train station, just 5 minutes walk. I went for a wedding and loved it. If I could get married again I would probably choose this place. It was during the week, so it was pretty much just us around the place.

  • Roland Leitner

It is a beautiful park that enchants with its special view of the harbour bridge. If you go further east, you will find a series of beautiful green spaces and partly hidden places from which you have great views of the bridge and the opera, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

  • Benjamin Mangold

Setting up under the bridge with a picnic or fish and chips and watch the spectacular view unfold is pretty magic. It's been a regular spot and will be for a long time to come. It's also worth a quick drive-by if you have a friend who hasn't been to Sydney before. Great spot, great view.

  • Cody Swan

Good size with several different areas for people of all ages. It's great to walk around the park and try to get yourself lost and just get swept away by the scenery. I would recommend making a day of it and going to the Met first and then there park. Grab some lunch while you're there!

  • James Arthur

Great view for New Year's Eve fireworks. Very popular location. Arrived at 3pm on NYE and already very full. Would recommend arriving in the morning for the best views. There were good public amenities with many portable toilets and several pop-up stalls selling a good variety of food.

  • jason davis

Awesome location at the base of the northern end of the Sydney Harbour Bridge with uninterrupted views of Circular Quay and the Opera House. The path runs under the bridge and around to Luna Park on the Western Side. Fantastic spot for a short walk and to get photos of the harbour.

  • A B

An excellent view of the Opera house and the water just under the harbour bridge. There are public toilets at the end of the park close to the train station. Parking is ticketed and limited. Close to Luna park it is a great place but not so convenient to get to or to park.

  • Crazy Dog

Good place to take your family & kids 2 . Basically you're under the harbour bridge and right next to Luna Park also you got a beautiful view of the Opera House. You can have a barbecue there just spend time with family or walk around see the beautiful heart of Sydney.

  • Zach Lam

Okay so personally I have sooooo much nostalgia attached to this place. It's such a nice place especially for little kids (namely me) and it's a great place to sit and relax and have fun. Most parks don't have engaging equipment, but Bradfield park has it covered :)

  • Jude Dias

Enjoyed watching the yachts sailing. The traffic moving on the Sydney harbour bridge as well as the train moving along from a distance. The Opera house and the Sydney skyline.Sydney is a picturesque abd bystling city.I hope to visit Sydney everytime I visit Australia.

  • jang-wook lee

I visited here to see night views of Harbor Bridge & Sydney Opera House with my family. We bought a pizza and enjoyed at the bench in the park. What a wonderful time it was! Park is wide and slopped. Beside the park is Olympic Swimming Pool and Lunar Park.

  • Michael xx

Did 90 minutes of yoga there, to the fascination of ferry passengers passing by. The scenery is exquisite. There's the heroic architecture of Bradfield and Utzon sitting on the verdant shores of Sydney Harbour. There's no place on the planet to match it!

  • Petarina Faneva

Excellent views and really just needed to use the bathroom. Though the bathrooms are disgusting, but when you need to pee you need to pee. Wish I had more time to soak in the excellent surroundings as the day was beautiful.

Diwali celebrations at Bradfield Park on the evening of October 29, 2022 - organised by the Hindu Council of Australia. Highlights included - Fireworks over water - Free henna/mehendi stalls - cultural program - food stalls, firerecraker stalls etc.

  • Jess S

Had a friends wedding there, it was small but alright. A little too public for my personal taste as there are men fishing on the pier and the water has a bit of a smell. But seems to be popular enough as there were 2 other weddings at the same time.

  • Theodore Stackpool-Habel

Overall a good, expansive park with good views. Bit hilly, and can be very loud as the bridge is underneath, and the park has been plagued by some form of construction for what feels like forever. Can be good if you want to relax with good views

  • Mark Titley

Pretty nice park with views of the Harbour bridge. Convenient bottle shop and toilet. Few tables and chairs if you fancied a picnic. Pretty noisy when the reasons go past. Otherwise pretty well kept and close to the train and ferry stations.

  • Sean Nairn

Bradfield Park offers the classic Sydney postcard views and is always popular with tourists. Located directly under the Harbour Bridge, only a few minutes’ walk from Milsons Point train station with numerous cafes and restaurants nearby.

  • Avishek Gupta Roy

Not sure how to rate this place but it is excellent . The view is amazing . I went there on the 31-dec-2018. The whole world wants to be there on that day for the fireworks, but believe me it is crowded. It is so crowded that you would

  • Jade Anderson

Close to train station. Shops. Food. Coffee. Such an amazing view!! Plenty of people come to see the bridge, take photos of the harbour, you can see the opera house and everything!! Bring a picnic. Perfect for families with children!

  • Mil Dantas

After crossing the Harbour Bridge and walk towards the opposite views of Sydney Opera House, you must stop by the beauty of this nice and quiet place. Bring some snacks and a good company and take some time to appreciate the view.

  • Scott Anderson

Lovely small park with great views of Opera House straight in front of u, and great community atmosphere with a mix of rich, poor and tourists- it is Kirribilli if u don't know, which has the most expensive Real Estate in Sydney!

  • Statler Willand

Could this be the most scenic park in Sydney? Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t, but man oh man is this place great. You can’t beat the view from here. Great place to sit back and relax for an afternoon and relax in the sun.

  • Timothy Balmain

Fantastic, great view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. What a magnificent engineering structure, and to know it was designed and built in the 1920's and opened 1932.What vision, pity our politicians don't have that now.

  • Stop Lazy Cash

Great place to go - peaceful and good view of Sydney city. Can easily get a bite to eat or a drink just up the road or only a few minutes walk from the train station. Only draw back is it gets cool quickly at sunset.

  • Ayesha

I've watched the New Year fireworks here since I was a little girl. The best spot to enjoy the two most beautiful views Sydney has to boast. If you go at off-peak times, parking is quite easy to find as well.

  • Syed J. Uddin

Love the view of Opera and harbour Bridge from this point. Easy to get parking spot, convenient to come via ferry and train too. Waterside garden, public toilets, luna park and fishing spot for many.

  • Ricardo Fainbaum

Great view. Nice spot for a walk for whoever that works around the North Sydney area. It doesn't feel like you are in a work area, and there is an awesome relaxing view to the harbour and opera house

  • Chrystal Argus

At the moment there's quite a bit of construction going on so it does block the views quite a bit.. there is still a kids playground there and both shaded and sunny areas to sit and have a picnic.

  • Darryl Heather

Came here to look at the views at night. Great place to see the lights and take a few evening snaps. Perfect if your a social media person, wanting a selfie with CBD and Bridge in the background.

  • Chloe Siva-Jones

Bradfield Park has a beautiful view and is very clean, access to toilets, no barbecues but has picnic tables and a small park! Parking is expensive the closer you get to the park and water

  • Rijan H (Ricky)

Beautiful park to spend time with your loved ones. Spectacular view on the Sydney Hsrbour what more could you ask for? Oh, yeah, and there some amazing restaurants in the area as well...

  • Adnan Maniar

Location was good but crowd management after fireworks was very bad. It was like stampede. I would avoid going there.
