I have to say that this is probably the most modernized commercial retail company that has come out of Quebec, period! Who would think that it would be a comic book store that would get this title from me? However, they are so much more than just a comic book store. I don't even know what kind of store you can call them? They're definitely up to date with the times and are tuned into the trends within memorabilia, comic books, etc. The layout of their store is well designed, as well as the cosmetic look of the store itself. It gives you a feeling of a fresh new age of retail, instead of the same old boring and sterile retail store. Definitely support this locally grown business!!! If you want comics in English or French, they got that! The staff are generally bilingual as well. As for the staff, they're the ones who make this commerce the place that it is. It's rare to come across employees within retail who are actually passionate about going to their jobs everyday. They all seem very happy to be working there. Every single one of them has gone above and beyond in aiding me with my comic book collection. They all seem to be very informative and knowledgeable about what it is that they were hired for. You'll never feel pressured into making a purchase, nor will you feel unwelcome. Don't be afraid to ask questions or talk to staff members. Every single one of them are extremely friendly and won't give you the cold shoulder. Words cannot explain how awesome their staff are! So much so that it makes one want to quit their day job to go work with them. LOL

Que vous soyez passionné par les jeux de société, les figurines, les bandes dessinées ou d'autres articles liés à la culture geek, l'Imaginaire offre un large éventail d'options qui sauront satisfaire tous les amateurs. Le personnel était non seulement compétent mais aussi amical et prêt à aider. J'ai été bien conseillé lors de mes achats, ce qui a contribué à rendre l'expérience d'achat agréable et personnalisée. Ils semblaient véritablement passionnés par les produits qu'ils vendaient, ce qui a ajouté une touche authentique à ma visite. L'organisation et la propreté de la boutique étaient également à noter. Les rayons étaient bien rangés, facilitant la recherche des articles, et l'ambiance générale était accueillante. Cependant, bien que l'Imaginaire soit un endroit fantastique pour les passionnés de culture geek, il reste encore quelques petites améliorations possibles pour une expérience optimale. Par exemple, l'espace de la boutique pourrait être optimisé pour offrir une circulation plus fluide, surtout aux heures de pointe. Dans l'ensemble, ma visite à l'Imaginaire de Sherbrooke a été positive, et je recommande vivement cet endroit à tous les amateurs de culture geek qui cherchent à explorer une variété de produits de qualité tout en bénéficiant d'un service attentionné.

The store is really nice, there is a lot of stuff for everyone. Unfortunately there wasn't much for me, I feel like they focus on more "mainstream" series in the plush/figures/manga area which does make sense for a store like that but it'd be nice to have some more variety based on current anime releases and stuff. Really small English manga selection too. What bothered me the most was the fact that they sell collectibles with open boxes so they can display them in their window. I really think 100$+ figures should be sold in their box, otherwise they are not worth full price anymore.

Bien que les employés soient généralement géniaux, la gestion laisse à désirer, se dissociant fortement de sa clientèle dans le but unique de maximiser les profits, même si ça peut envoyer des clients vers la compétition. Les cartes de jeux en particulier, avec peu de nouveauté, des prix toujours au dessus de ce qu'on trouve ailleur localement. Je recommende fortement d'aller voir vos autres magasins locaux plutôt que d'encourager un magasin qui se fout de ses clients.

Je change ma note à 5 étoiles . Suite à la baisse à 1 étoile à cause des pokemons célébrations pour lequel j’ai mis un avis pas franchement sympa et injuste et sous le coup de l’émotion . Je tiens à m’excuser et à rectifier cela . C’est une boutique chez qui nous passons toujours des commandes et chez qui nous sommes toujours bien reçu . Le choix et vaste et si il n’ont pas en stock il y a toujours possibilité de faire livré d’ailleurs .

The store in itself is beautiful. Great selection. However, the pricing on the *new* TCG products are worthy of scalpers on Ebay. Shameless. Products are way overpriced, going for 2.5x above the MSRP prices. Hell, I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra (200$), but 400$ for a box listed at 155$? Absolutely shameless for a store and brand of this scale. Edit: they just deleted similar reviews on the product page.

Euh zéro service! Il y a un gros choix de jeux par contre j’ai cherché un conseiller pour m’aider et il y avait absolument personne. La fille à la caisse m’a même pas proposé un sac et quand je l’ai demandé (après le payement du jeux de société) elle me l’a donné et j’ai dû payer 30 cent comme deuxième payement. Très déçu, c’était ma première visite du magasin et je crois bien que ça serait la dernière!

This place never ceases to amaze me at every visit. So much cool things to look at and/or buy (the only negative being you'd like to buy everything and can't, or at least shouldn't). The staff is helpful, friendly and they know their stuff. Will go back many times again.

Toys, Games, Cards, Comics, Manga, Dice etc. They have a lot. Price is pretty good. Edit: Now compared to other stores I have been to, the selection (especially for Star Wars Comics) and the price aren't that good. Still solid, but that's why I have to take off a star.

Great shop, beautiful figurines, the best mochi and a wide variety of manga of all genres! I don’t regret coming, it’s a joy to have that in Sherbrooke. Thank you for the courteous service, we feel that the employees are passionate too!

J’aime beaucoup ce magasin. Le personnel est très courtois et respectueux. J’ai toujours obtenu ce que je désirais. J’y vais pour les pièces de monnaies et elles sont très belles . Je recommande fortement cette place.
