From my experience as a 9th grade student, Blacktown boys is a horrible school and here are the reasons why. First and foremost, many students behave like monkeys in a zoo. They are rude, talk loud and do stupid things all the time, even in class. Most don’t go to school to study anything but to waste their time at school messing around. This greatly disturbs the minority of students who actually want to learn, as well as the teachers’ ability to teach. Secondly, the school has a massive lack of teachers, most of the teachers here are uneducated and/or can’t manage the class. Some “teach” by presenting a slideshow yet explain almost nothing and give work to students to do. In addition, the actual teachers are only present in 60-70% of classes, the rest have substitute teachers who can’t actually teach the particular subject. Last but not least, the learning facility is not the best, laptops and the internet are extremely slow, and most textbooks provided are torn. The school’s toilets are horrendous, insanitary and stinky.

Excellent school with great facilities, excluding the toilets, and extremely dedicated staff. I miss this school since graduating as it had been the best 6 years of my life. However, the only reason I'm giving four stars is because of the rare but big fights and unsanitary prison-like toilets. Overall excellent, facilities but some students engage in physical altercations which disrupts others, although this is quite rare. Mr Calleja is a great principal who is genuinely involved with his school and values the academic and sports performance of his students so will try his best to maintain or improve that. I can't think of one bad faculty as all permanent teachers know their subject very well (at least the ones I had). I definitely recommend the school and the stigmas are false that it is dangerous and your son will turn into some gangster is a complete myth, if you send your son here you both won't regret it!

Toilets are worse than slums of any third world country as quoted by my son. Been three weeks i am calling to speak to principal or deputy , left phone messages, emails no response. DONOT enrol your kids on this school, education level is below the bar , save your self the trouble and thank me later for this advice . Some teachers don’t speak English well and kids get a hard time trying to understand. Class work never checked and school doesn’t take a note of any complaints and turn a deaf eye towards it.

Have called multiple times to book a meeting with Principal regarding lodgement of an out of area application in July, August, September 2022. Over the phone staff were rude to me and preamting/assuming the answer No. And I haven't given opportunity to book a meeting with principal. Not happy with Enrollment/admin team for failed to given me opportunity to have a meeting with Principal. I would give zero.

The choice of teachers is very questionable. Some teachers (not just casuals) can't even speak english, and instead mutter incomprehensible words, but mostly just grunt. I'm thankful dubey left, as he was a complete failure of a teacher. The people in charge just seem to hire people with horrible communication skills, most with Indian accents. The education is worse than primary.

Had Mr Guneser, my son’s history teacher call me complaining about my son’s behaviour in class. Completely unprofessional, seems lazy and doesn’t know how to speak properly just tends to mumble the same thing out of his mouth, not even trying to explain why he rang me in the first place. Until the staff learn how to communicate, their calls will be cut short.

In this school, you are not a boy who goes to balcktown boys' high school, you are a Blacktown Boy, you will be taught by the best of the best (cough cough) teachers in the world. You will not regret coming to this school. I highly recommend going to this school.

My nephew goes to this school and be said best art gallery in the world, 70% of the sky is filled with bad students and 60% of em vape, lots of rasism, mike ox big is very bad student at that school and the teachers are pre good and bbhs is better than ruse

Very good school great choice of teachers it is very good ,there was lots of fights 2 years ago but there isn't now because there is a hands off policy and the police can control it, Amazing and well educated teachers their. The Best High School Ever:)

love this school made so many new friends we all went to the bathrooms at recess to let out some steam and sometimes at lunch we go to the year sevens and caress them to the isolated art museum and have lots of fun together.

BBHS has lack of educated teachers, some teachers talk about future plans and university goals but some teachers just navigate about Tafe all the time. A massive teacher shortage in BBHS. Toilets are horrible.

Mr. Guneser is a great teacher! He is consistent, on time and is constantly motivating students into working harder and achieving further success. His teaching method is great, according to what I understand.

How dare you sully the name of Blacktown Boys' High School people below me. It is better than you'd expect. It's just the most angry people are the most motivated to chuck a negative one-star review here.

The open day for Year 2023 was very well planned. The students and staff gave great information which is very useful for starting High School. Great work by all.

So far, this school has been alright, it was pretty easy to settle in. Great teachers for sure. I would recommend this school for anyone.

Go to the boys toilet between 12:10 and 12:40. It was the greatest experience of my life. But they do smell like strawberry..
