The food arrived cold...very very very cold and looked disgusting. I couldn't even eat it. In addition, there were little pieces of hardened fries and macaroni mixed in together with a beet salad - looked like it was taken off someone else's plate - looked horrible. I couldn't even eat the food, it was so gross. I wish this restaurant would take more care of the food they're preparing, and to be ethical about how they serve their food to customers - especially with people that are ordering delivery because we can't see the food right away at the restaurant and object to its quality. I paid over 30 dollars for the food!!!!! Skip the Dishes conducted the delivery and their delivery person was great. I'm aware they're not responsible for the food quality, however, they need to hold restaurants accountable because we, the customers, cannot see it before it's delivered. Also, the restaurant forgot to give me the extra bread and garlic sauce, which I also paid extra for them. Overall - they're so careless and the food is disgusting.

Not only the food was horrible, the order was messed up and I did not get what I ordered, but they also scammed us! I placed an order on Skip the Dishes and it was confirmed by the restaurant and ready for pickup. When I went there to my surprise, the guy at the restaurant said that there was no order with my order number. A few minutes later, he said that my order was cancelled and I need to reach Skip the dishes. I had to place the same order through the restaurant and pay for then as it was already late and I trusted him when he said it was CANCELLED! Now that I have reached Skip the Dished, they said that the restaurant confirmed that I already picked up the order and therefore I cannot get a refund! The food was disgusting and has nothing to do with Lebanese cuisine, I ordered shish tawoq and got vegetables instead, the people who work there scammed me and Skip and now I paid double the amount for a meal that was very very bad! I will make sure to report this fraud incident to the officials!

The gentleman servicing the restaurant was very hesitant to explain why I was charged $38 dollars for 2 shawarmas and a poutine which was advertised as $28. When approached on the subject I was told a poutine and shawarma combo was $28 (advertised as $16.30) and a single shawarma was $10 dollars. So the main take away from this experience was to order all items individually since combos are double charged. Very dissapointed in the customer service and the shawarma was cold in the middle, it feels like it was just a disgruntled employee since the actual flavours were quite nice. Maybe try approaching the establishment during 9-5 hours you might have better a better meal and service. Overall experience was god awful and there are much better places to eat in this city.

I ordered the chicken shawarma plate. Hands down one of the most bland shawarma meals I've ever had. The chicken was not shawarma, but just cubes of chicken. Absolutely flavorless. Normally shawarma comes with hummus and garlic sauce, mine didn't. Never had a shawarma in my life that didn't come with both. Rice did have some good flavour. For some reason, I also had in the plate a side of pasta...no idea why. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, I had the baklava. Normally you can't screw up the dessert, but they manage to. Extremely bland to the point where I couldn't figure out if it was pistachios or almond or what. I still can't believe this place had a 4+ rating on Uber, which is why I ordered it. Made sure to review there also to provide my perspective.

This restaurant does not deserve to have the Lebanon Cedar on their windows. The food was atrocious and didn't resemble Lebanese food at all. They served wedge fries for their potatoes, the chicken was shredded beyond recognition and the "beef/lamb" had zero flavour to it. The lettuce was brown, the tomatoes were mushed and they put carrots on a shawarma...what the hell!! They also used mayonnaise instead of toum.... they couldn't even give the whole piece of bread for a sandwich so it fell apart in an instant. This place needs to shut down and revamped properly...

Really bad experience, starting with the ambiance… bad lighting, tables were not cleaned… then the food comes… all meat tried here, chicken and lamb, and falafel was dry and the garlic sauce was dangerous… I was hungry so the rice, fires and the salad were the only thing that was eatable. The only star goes to the fries and rice. Unfortunately for this restaurant I have been to several Mediterranean places and Know the tradition and good service and food. Do not try this restaurant now…. maybe it is because of covid or not…. I do not know…

One word, Disgusting! Bought falafels and usually falafels everywhere is made fresh to order.. it was cold as though it’s been in fridge… and guy who seemed like owner just gave it as it is. No fork, no napkins, nothing. When I returned it saying it is cold, he took it and heated the same thing in microwave in front of me and gave it back… who charges $6.96 for only 3, cold, extremely salty, not fresh falafels? dirty… this place is a mess… avoid it at all costs

We came here on our first night arriving in Quebec, when we weren't aware that almost all restaurants in the area are closed by 10pm. So at 10:30pm and no car in negative weather outside we were happy to find this place open near us. The food was a bit oily and tough, with giant dollops of what turned out to be just mayo covering the plate. The food was microwaved right in front of us. It didn't taste terrible nor was it particularly good, and I guess it's a convenient place to go as it is open 24hrs.

  • assoom T

Terrible food, just ordered through uber eats, food arrived cold and definitely not cooked today. The chicken is definitely not shish tawook and is microwaved, the beef and lamb is cheap sliced doner and the same was used in the mixed platter and the shawarma plate. When we called them to complain the guy kept saying its not our problem and hung up the phone on me! Absolute scam and terrible terrible experience.

avoid unless you are fine with overpriced microwaved and canned food. It was expensive at 13$ the plate and now they raised it to 15$ the plate. This is a restaurant for tourists it seems since it's located next to some hotels, what a shame. There are a lot of other Libanese restaurant nearby with prices at least 3-4$ cheaper for much, much better quality food. With luck you will be eating while drunk in the middle of the night and won't notice how bad the food is.

  • Roxana

It was fake shawarma or shish taouk, We use to go to Amir and Bostan to eat shawarma or shish taouk and we know how it should be cooked but these people serve cold fake meat and dry and tasteless chicken with the name of shawarma or shish taouk. It was the worse food that we have ever had in Quebec! I doubt it was not a Lebanese restaurant. We paid almost 100$ for 4 , and we throw them all away and slept without dinner. These people should close the door for ever!

  • Euna Namkoong

0 Zero Stars-WORST FOOD EVER DO NOT GO!! WASTE OF MONEY!! Everything looked so old and not fresh The meat smelled terrible and tasted like rubber The wrap came out burned and had only tomatoes and lettuce that were probably at least several days old My husband who eats double the amount couldn't even touch his plate. WE WERE DISGUSTED! never ever ever I bet the other ratings were by the owners friends and families.... I STILL FEEL SO GROSS FROM EATING THAT GARBAGE

  • Olivya Lemay

Typical lebanese food joint, but far from the best. Not enough sauce or filling in their rolled pitas. Their chicken isnt seasoned or cooked as you'd expect. Their salad on the side looks thrown together and badly cut. Their hummus is just hideous and way overpriced. Mine had oil floating on it and tasted like nothing. You'd be better off going to a franchised lebanese restaurant like Villa Madina. Im not sure where my 2nd star is coming from, pity I suppose.

  • ABU

We ordered from them, the food arrived cold, the meat was not fresh, the chicken tasted old and outdated. And above all we did not even get what we ordered, this is false libanaise food. I called them to tell them about it, they hang up on my face. They don’t deserve any stars.

Do not go there! It is the worst olace ver! Food is not fresh, the service is terrible! The chicken shawarma is not even shawarma, it is shredded boiled chicken. It is shameful that this place is called lebanese, when it is not really lebanese food. It offers tabbouleh, when y clearly is not even tabbouleh. Nothing is fresh! A 1 star rating is even a high standard for this rockbottom place.

  • Joliane Hebert

We ordered from skip the dishes. We ordered tabouleh, macaroni salad, cabbage salad and nature salad and got this old nothing salad… my boyfriend got the chicken shawarma plate it came with no potatoes, the chicken is clearly not shawarma chicken. Both plates came cold. The garlic sauce is basically mayonnaise, no hummus no pita. Not arabic food AT ALL.! Very disappointed

  • Mohamed Abouelnaga

Ordered 3 pita sandwiches merguez, shish taouk and kafta, and all were really bad. The worst was the shish taouk which was was not even shish taouk but instead minced chicken mixed with the lettuce and was very dry and had bad smell, the kafta and merguez were not fresh as well, heated and dry. We ended up throwing the food away. I would give zero stars if possible.

  • Haider Al-Baldawi

This is an insult to authentic Lebanese cuisine. The beef "shawarma" was almost like Greek gyros of inferior quality. It was so bland on it's own that they felt the need to douse it with a sickening mayo-based sauce. The only redeeming quality of this meal was that the two potato wedges were actually not bad. Other than that, the meal itself was quite unpleasant.

  • André Bahous

Being Lebanese and quite accustomed to Lebanese food, I am simply stunned that this so-called 3.5 star joint is allowed to use the terms Lebanese or even restaurant. Where do i even begin? Chicken that does not qualify as shish taouk, mayo disguised as garlic sauce, no pita bread, etc. Be advised and steer clear. Consider only in the event of starvation.

  • Randa

Good portion size, but a bit pricey for what it is. It’s good though. The restaurant is not really a restaurant. It’s more like a food counter you’d find in a food court and the rest is self service. You get your own food and you clear your own table and tray. It could be a good place for parties, but the food options are too limited for that.

  • Charbel Assaf

Ordered a Chicken Taouk plate. Was served old microwaved chicken crums and rice... Plate smelled so bad I threw it in the garbage. Seriously who microwaves old chicken ? This moght work for the tourists I guess ??? Being Lebanese I wanted to encourage the local community but sadly this brings shame to all lebanese restaurants in the area.

  • Yul PAVAGE

If I could put a negative star I would. 20$ the chicken was pre cut from hours before dry dry un edible. The dish pita looked like can chicken. Mayo with garlic powder was used for the garlic sauce. Nothing good to say about this place. Expensive for awful food

Granted we tried to eat at 2am, it wasn't good. Microwaved kofte kabobs were dry as cardboard with cold parboiled rice. Salad was decent, so were the few fries. The couscous with legumes had a bunch of squash that were microwaved and still cold inside. Pretty bad overall especially for the price. Maybe it's better during the day.

  • Sebastian Arias Hernandez

I just regret ordering without checking the reviews first. I just ordered two tasteless shish taouk which arrived extremely cold, the chicken was boiled in water and the sauce was like a water mayo blend. At least it was a good portion.

Microwaved food, nasty old pieces of meat and shredded chicken in name of shawarma that tastes days old and the cherry on top, the lady(maybe manager or something) in front acts so rude with customers. I don’t know how they’re not out of business, and seeing how they treat customers I’m sure soon they will be.

  • red tomatoz

This is simply not a real shish. That would be fine if at least the price would not be ridiculous. 13$ for a canned chicken shish + 20$ for the bottom of a fridge aka veggie plate. Total garbage quality. The price to pay for a shish in Quebec city and they know it. Garbage food, no one made an effort

  • white lights

That is simply the worst restaurant ever. Extremely bad food, we bought 3 sandwiches and we literally throw them in the garbage. Cleanness bad, food extremely bad. Overall experience = the worse restaurant. If you see a comment with more then 1 star is most probably someone who knows the owner.

  • Alexandre Huot

I've been grabbing a shish taouk plate every time I'm close by and find myself hungry, for many years already. It's always been tasty and fresh. The staff is super friendly. It's open 24/7. It fills a much needed void on a street filled with pretentious restaurants. You'll love it.

  • Uchizi Phakati

The food was cold. It’s a nice restaurant setup for dine in or grab and go. Wanted to try something new and stay in my hotel room so I gave it a chance. It’s good food, just cold. The guy working there was nice and welcoming. I’d give it 5 stars if the food was hot. More

  • Tyra

Food tasted like rubber and wasn’t fresh. Food was microwaved on styrofoam as well :(. Also, the garlic sauce was just mayonnaise. Furthermore, the service was terrible… the man made the food with no gloves with hands that touched everything from the microwave to money.

  • Alberto Jassir

Lebanese restaurant? Doesn't look like. It is not a restaurant just there is old food to heat when a customer comes. Flavor ? You are lucky if dont get sick. We went on Sunday but never come back. Be careful with this place. I love Lebanese food, but this one is a fake

  • Zehra Raza

This place was absolutely terrible. They gave us boiled chicken with deli beef meat. That is NOT Lebanese food. Also for 5 bucks, we got 1 piece of baklava. Rip off. Please please save your money and don't order from here. You'll wish you went to bed empty stomach

I've being working on grande-allé for the past 7 years and always choose this place over anywhere else. The employee with the hat and the glasses who work in the evening, is such a nice men. Everybody should go see him and have a talk with him.

  • Olivia T.

Food tastes ok and service is fine. However, the chicken is dry and the shawarma tastes like canned. The food was heat up with microwave but using a styrofoam. The worst is that we bought bottles of water that the lids were already opened.

  • David “Elijah” Disch

Ordered the Chawarma plate off Uber Eats at 4AM as a quick snack before a big day. Spent the rest of that day sick with food poisoning. Solid effort at killing me. At least it tasted pretty good, on the way down and the way back up.

  • Hassan Hamze

We had a Tawouk sandwich at 2:30 am after getting out of the club next-door. The chicken was cold as an ice-cream. I don't know if they serve it like that thinking that people at that time are all drunk and can't distinguish.

  • Moraima M.

It is a crime to even call this Lebanese food. Food is cold, chicken is DRY as the Sahara desert, the beef doesn’t even look like beef the garlic sauce is missing the garlic lmao and the hummus is THE

  • Sam Yoo

DO NOT EAT HERE! WORST EVER! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN! FOOD IS NOT FRESH AT ALL, MEAT TASTES LIKE RUBBER! COULD NOT EVEN FINISH HALF OF THE PLATE! the good reviews are from family and friends.

Worst place Ever, the rice has a very bad smell and the food is under cooked. Staf very rude and impolite. I don't recommend this place except if you wanna have food poisoning.

  • Kyle Lalonde

The chicken from my dish tasted like it was leftover from several days. The sauce was more mayonnaise than garlic. Would not recommend even as a late night snack.
