I have been coming to this clinic for all my dental needs since 2014. While Dr. Shannon owned the place, it was the best dental clinic around, even when I moved out of Vancouver I drove extra long just to come to this clinic. Recently, Dr. Shannon sold this clinic to someone else and majority of the staff are new. I made an appointment for teeth cleaning. The front desk staff greeted me nicely and were very polite. I started doing my cleaning, and 45 minutes into the appointment, my hygienist said this was a 2 hour appointment. She explained they needed to do X-rays, and some other stuff. I told them no, I need to leave after 1 hour because I did not pay for 2 hours parking, and because I needed to leave for Whistler for my dads birthday. Even after telling them this they insisted I stay for 2 hours. I said no again and it became a bit awkward. Then, the hygienist told me I needed to wait for the dentist to come talk to me because the dentist thought I would be done closer to 2 hours. It was already an hour and 15 minutes and by the time the dentist came it was an hour and half. Basically I ended up leaving in 1 hour and 40 minutes. I had my elderly father waiting to pick me up from my house for over 45 minutes. Oh did I mention, they also charged me extra for the extra stuff they booked even though no one told me about this. Then to add the cherry on top, I got to my car and had $110 dollar parking ticket because the appointment went on for way longer. I called the office and explained all this, and the front desk ladies agreed this was very unprofessional. However, when the manager called me, I asked for them to either refund me for the extra I was charged during my appointment or to cover my parking ticket, because at this point I was down $250. She said absolutely not lol… I told them I was a loyal client, doing all my dental needs at this clinic, spending tens of thousands of dollars of the years, and that I would stop coming here if this was not dealt with. She said no problem, and told me to seek dental care elsewhere. Dr. Shannon would have never let something like this happen, it’s a shame what a change of ownership can do to a successful, professional, caring business. Definitely will not be returning every again, the manager was as petty as it gets.

I moved here from Ontario and have been with the same dentist for nearly 22 years, so I was extremely hesitant and nervous to find a new dentist but was experiencing tooth pain so it was necessary. Every single person in this office, from the front desk receptionists to the hygienists to the dentists, are so extremely kind and knowledgeable. They made my experience here so much less scary than I thought it would be. I had my first major dental procedure done by Dr. Ahmed Al-Juboori, who made time for me in his schedule to have this done last-minute before I leave for a vacation. He was gentle with me, as was the hygienist, and I left feeling comfortable and like I had full understanding of the entire process. I would recommend this place to everyone. 100/10 experience and am so grateful to have found this office.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Andrew Shannon and his team for years now. I’m extremely happy with the service that I receive. The staff are always very friendly, they make the cleaning process as easy and comfortable as possible (it is still the dentist after all!), and are always on top of any additional care I might need from time to time. I like their approach which isn’t always to jump to immediate intervention. Dr. Shannon is a kind and caring man and I feel very at ease in his chair. The office and equipment is top notch. I would highly recommend them for your dental needs.

This had been bothering me for some time now and I feel like patients at the establishment should be aware of this. Last year I had a checkup and was told I had two cavities. I normally wouldn’t disagree with a doctor but I felt like something was off with him. I am glad went to another dentist. And not to my surprise, I did not have any cavities at all. It’s been a year and a half now, I just had another checkup and still no cavities. No one likes to be taken advantage of and this was very unethical.

Over many years that I have been using this center to keep my aging teeth in shape, I have always received the most professional service. The staff have always been very compassionate and have gone out of their way to teach me tooth care that I was never shown while growing up. I find that even at my age (80) I am still learning about proper care from on of their Hygienists who's care and professional talent far exceeds any previous that I have experienced. Thank you. Dr Ahmed is the best ! I was too nervous about the wisdom teeth removal and I was very scared to remove it. However, he is super nice ! And his assistant very gentle ! I feel very confident and comfortable, they teach me how to breathe and no rush ! I feel completely nothing ! I can say it is zero painful ! Guys, If you just like me , scary about wisdom teeth removal, you should make appointment with him ! Good technique, quick and feeling comfortable.

Best dental clinic I have ever visited by far. Dr Andrew is a very professional, polite, calm, and most importantly knowledgeable dentis. I remember how he drew a picture of a tooth in one of my early visits to explain the root canal therapy for me. They keep track of everything by periodically taking Xrays and doing examinations, and everything is done on schedule. Definettly recommend this clinic to everyone in Lower mainland...

I have been a patient at BDC for over 20 years and have always found this clinic efficient, convenient and professional. Dr. Andrew Shannon is extremely competent and has consistently looked after me well; and always with a sense of humour. His dental hygienist assistants are well trained, I strongly recommend Nikki. If 70’s and 80’s background music is not your thing you can watch the overhead TV with headphones !

I am a new patient and have had a good experience switching to Dr. Hariri. The reception team is really lovely and helpful. Eloise is a great dental tech and takes the time to explain the procedures she’s doing (great for people who are nervous about the dentist like me!). They’re very transparent about costs which is appreciated. Overall very happy with the staff, facility, and the lack of wait time for appointments.

This was one of my best dental experiences. The front office staff is kind, cordial, helpful, and informative. They knew exactly how to process my insurance and helped get the right clearances. Dr. Lee was amazing and very patient. He walked me through all the steps and ensured that I was never in discomfort. I am very happy with the care and treatment I received.

He was very thorough in his explanations and answered all the questions that I had. In addition, he was honest in the advice he provided, which was crucial in me making an informed decision. I was stunned to be charged $440 for my visit. They room all kinds of pictures abs when I asked what was happening they indicted this was standard. Nobody asked me or presented to me that I would be paying this kind of money for this service. I would have said no. This might just be my last visit after decades of coming here. I feel fully ripped off.

Very friendly staff who listen to all your dental concerns and promote good dental health without shaming any lifestyle choices or guilting you into flossing more. Not sure if they have immaculate long term memory or take notes on their patients but it’s very sweet when they ask about past events I shared at follow-up cleaning appointments.

Had a new crown two-stage procedure. The first procedure involving shaping the tooth was comfortable and the temporary crown was well fitted and looked good. The final crown placed a week later was perfect in appearance and fit - a flawless procedure.
