My grandson, Cash Beaudry started his first day of kindergarten at Belmont. His best friend was Laylon. He loved his teacher Mrs. Warwick. I also thought she was a very good teacher. then he went into grade 1, he had a male teacher and they did not get along very well. But the teacher tried. THEN he passed into grade 2.... Mrs. Hoffman was his teacher. He absolutely loved her. She was one of the most loving,caring and extraordinary people I've ever met. She cared about her children in class and worried about some after classes. Christmas of 2013 came and Cash moved out to Alberta Beach with me, and started school there. he missed Mrs. Hoffman so much. I felt so bad for this young child. He finally got used to his school, made many friends and his marks are very good at Alberta Beach; still every now and then he and I will talk about Mrs. Hoffman and how great both of us felt she was. I truly hope she knows what a wonderful person we felt she is.

It is (was) an okay school. Lots of clubs and friendly students! The old principal was horrible (glad she was fired), and so were a few of the teachers. Bullying is a serious issue that they've had in the past and the new principal has made a lot of progress to change that. They have put a lot of money into things that really don't matter and should maybe do more to get the students engaged, rather than buying I-pads, chairs and solar panels. Overall it's a great school and I miss it very much. I would highly recommend this school to any child who is a social butterfly or who doesn't make friends well.

I went to this school in grade 1, and the bullying is insanely bad. I was constantly being shoved and hit by older kids for NO reason. This area is terrible. Everyone I knew bullied me here. Punched in the stomach. Pushed. Called names. Threatened to be stabbed. I told the teachers many times, and they never cared. They took action ONCE and it didn't change much. I was glad to leave this school.

This will be my childrens second year going to this school. My youngest has been bullied the whole time. Kids punching, pushing, covering him with clothes and laying on him. School refuses to tell me anything about whats being done and I dont get told about the altercations till the end of the day by my child most of the time. I had high hope but very disappointed now.

Some teachers treated me differently than others, and in general bullying is at a high rate and not taken seriously enough. Academically, I felt discouraged due to being underestimated by teachers. I do wish the staff at this school were more encouraging as confidence is an important step in education

The teachers were amazing it's just that they spent all there money on chairs so we didn't go on Feild trips for 3 years then they spent it on solar panels, which im fine with it's been 3 years though so it might have changed

I love this school my daughter Is making friends besides her getting punched in the nose yesterday from a boy in her class over a stupid game who's the strongest but it's a good school principal is amazing

Wasn't the best place, but it was good. I met some good friends here and liked most of my teachers. When I was there, the principal wasn't good but I've heard that she was fired.

I just went to this school for 1 year because i was in grade 6 and i got into so many fights arguments and trash talks and i only stayed in this school for a year

I went to this elementary school grades 4 - 6. I have fond good memories...I would enroll my child there
