I just had thee worst experience a person could have at the BMV. Not only am I an avid reader but so is my daughter. We have been going to the BMV for quite sometime now and have made quite a few purchases. Today for her PA day we decided to have lunch in the vicinity and visit out favorite book store to look for some comics. Upon going to our favorite comic book/graphic novel section upstairs we were yelled at from across the room by an older Asian gentlemen telling me I have to leave my bag at the front desk. Now I know there have been times where there was a sign for backpacks but we have gone upstairs many a time and were not spoken too about my ladies tote bag. I politely told the staff that my bag is not a backpack and I showed it to him, to which he sneered at me and told me in a raised tone that "I PREFER that YOU put your bag HERE" and pointed to the area on the floor. Funny enough a male white customer was up there and he had his backpack and went to the back section and did not remove his bag nor was he told to. As a Black woman to be pointed out while other customers do not have their bag taken off has me infuriated. My daughter left feeling very shaken by the staffers outburst, attitude and singling out. No one should have to be treated that way. I have no idea what his deal was but I will be thinking long and hard before I set foot back in there again.

This is the place I go to if I need books or comics. 4 floors of the cheapest books you can find in Toronto. They put the price on the cover so you see how much money you save buying from them. On the BOTTOM FLOOR you can find: Thouthands of good old vinyl records, VHS, DVDs, Blu-rays and collectibles, Bargain, Film and Music Books. On the FIRST FLOOR you will find a lot of liturature and audiobooks; genres are: Art & Architecture & Design, Cooking, Mystery, Westerns, Adventure, Horror, Historical fiction, Plays & Poetry, Philosophy, New Age Occul, Religion & Spirituality, World & Canadian Liturature. On the SECOND FLOOR you will find: A plenty of books and toys for children, History, Psychology & Self-help, Crafts, Gardening, Health & Fitness, Humour, Language & Dictionaries, Photography & Fashion, Science, Sports, TextBooks and Technical, Business & Economics (which I'd like to see more) On the THIRD FLOOR: Collectibles, Comics & Graphic novels, Vintage Magazines, Sci-Fi and Fantasy. Btw, they have TONS of comics upstairs. I think there you can really find everything you dreamed of. Prices are the lowest on the market. Go check it really!

Unless you’ve got a lot of time, I advise you not to come here. From all the different genres and floors you can get lost in time, my dog is a bit anxious and times and once he gets there he settles down. Doggy friendly so that’s always a great outing for me If there is something you didn’t find on your first visit you might find it on your third, and on your fifth you’ll find an abundance of it. That’s the charm of a used book store, careful what you wish for kind of situation? Highly possible Staff are sweet and accommodating. They have a new releases section which is always worth checking out if it’s a book that you would typically find at indigo, chapters, etc (please don’t go to those big stores, they treat their employees the way they treat their shelves) Now to the best part they have a $1, $1.99, $2.99 book section. If you don’t like the book it’s cheaper than buying fire starter and probably more eco friendly just smudge some Vaseline on their and you’re good. They also have a rare finds sections with some weird vibes to the books and some collectible ones The dog is Bernie say hi if you ever bump into him

I used to buy all the time from this location with my friends and had a blast since I loved the atmosphere, then life got busy I couldn't come back in a few years. Recently, I sold some of my items here which I never used or never opened, and the staff downstairs were really nice the cashier and so were the guys behind the buyer desk, the atmosphere was pretty calm and the employees seemed nice and are very social with their customers and knowledgeable. They were really welcoming :) They didn't take long to look through the items I offered. Just offer them items that they might be looking for and in good condition :) (you can know by checking their website or calling them). If they don't take it from you, don't take it personal, its hard living in these economic times. Every seller wants to sell what they know will definitely sell and is in season or matches the theme(s) of their store. If I had more time, I would've bought some materials from here but I was in a rush. I would love to come back and take a look at their most recent selection. Thank you!

I've come back to add to my review. During my first visit to the store, I didn't have much time to browse but I made some cool discoveries and it looks like they have some good deals. Occasionally I got confused when I got to the end of a certain section without seeing authors' names all the way to the end of the alphabet, but maybe that was all they had. My main reason for going was to sell a book I didn't want anymore. It was in practically perfect condition and was recent fiction, which the website said they paid the most for. I took it to the buying desk. The person there looked it over, flipping through the pages, and said he would give me $3 for it. I think that's reasonably. I recently visited the store again and got $10 for three books. Based on my first experience, I wasn't sure if I would get that much, so I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth it to get books I don't need anymore the chance to find another life on someone else's bookshelf.

BMV books has been a landmark on Bloor West for many years. Everytime we venture out to the neighborhood for a weekend meal, we will always drop by to find some books to bring home & enjoy. It has been a few years since our last visit to Bloor due to Covid but we are back. We are happy to see a buzzing neighborhood and lots of folks are in the book store enjoying their day. This time my kids has grew into loving Comics and National Geographic books. We found one Large Hardcover Legend of Korra comic. It’s a spin off from Avatar and the kids love this find. Staff also helped us find NG’s Geography series, history series as well as animal books. We zoomed into the animal series and decided to get the dogs and world animal books. We will be back!

This is like heaven for comic book lovers. It is at least for me. Graphic novels are in abundance here and the prices are nothing less than amazing. Everytime I go in, I buy some books that I hadn't planned for before in addition to the ones that I did plan on getting. The collection is quite amazing compared to other used book stores. The staff members here are very polite and helpful and honestly, there's nothing I wanna complain about. There are also some manga titles that catch the eye when looking for mainstream comic books. Even books still in plastic wrap are at discounted price even though having no damages at all. I don't live in GTA, but visiting this store is very much worth drive down there and through downtown, no less.

Love BMV [especially appreciate this location's long hours] but knocking two stars [perhaps unfair to the store] because the last time I've been to this location [~10 days ago], I was followed and harassed by a creep within the store. I had stopped to browse and find something new to read and this guy kept following me though the aisles [even up and down the stairs] trying to talk to me, making unsolicited comments, asking me out, giving unsolicited book recommendations, all of this despite me ignoring him and very firmly asking to be left alone. When it was clear that he was not going to stop, my book hunt was over, I ran away. Long story short, I love the place but stopped going due to creeps in there.

  • Benjamin Brezner

I love used book stores, so they get three stars just for being awesome enough to fight the Amazon beast. It's a used book store, so selection is always limited and a lot of niche stuff isn't there. Poetry section, especially, was missing a lot of important authors, IMHO, but I get that it doesn't sell. When they didn't have what I was looking for they were more than willing to recommend other local shops to check out. I tend to already know what I want when I buy books, since my budget is limited, but I could see making a couple more impulse buys there just to support local business in the future, even if they don't have exactly what I want.

  • Siren Skye

If your looking for a good price on a book I recommend going to this place for all your book and video/movie needs hah. The other day i payed $9 for a book that originally would have costed around $20. They have so many genres of books. Graphic Novels, books for Children and Toddlers, Comics, Occult, Religion and the list goes on. There is something for everyone there and if you have a certain genre in mind they will likely have it. Mind you, I have never bought a movie or video from here. Though I have been in the basement and they have quite a large selection of videos and movies. Amazing place.

  • Ruichi

This BMV is bigger than the other ones I've been to. It has great selection of books. The layout of the store was easy to navigate. Bought a good amount on my last visit. Unfortunately they don't have a database to check what all books they have, you have to sort through to find what you want. That in itself can be fun but if you're only looking for a particular book, it can be a bit tedious. They have fairly good turnover rate for books, so what they didn't have might turn up couple weeks later. Will definitely come back to check out what they have once in a while. Fun experience for me.

  • Dale Watson

Avoid the 3rd Floor at all costs. The grumpy, people hating man that lives up there is just awful. He shouts at anyone entering with a bag and is unwilling (or unable?) to answer basic questions and never helps you find anything in the poorly organized space. He makes kids feel really unwelcome, which is hilarious for a comic shop. These books are supposed to be fun and enjoyed, but he seems to have forgotten the point of why these epic stories exist. Don’t you even think about opening a without his say-so! Such an unpleasant experience that taints an otherwise solid bookstore.

  • Glen

I found this place to be perfect for me, to start or continue my reading habits again. The ones I found online were pretty expensive for obvious reasons, so finding a predominantly second hand book store like this , and getting the books for really cheap was really satisfying x The only issue I find with the bookstore, is that it's pretty difficult to find the books you are looking for, sometimes even the ones in the front desk or the one assigned to each floor don't have much idea. I wish it was more clear, that's it. Other than that , a must visit place for all book lovers

  • Amy Storozuk

My first visit to BMV Books was great. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular, just a new to me fiction book (which I found), and I was not disappointed with the available selection. The store is clean, well organized, the materials are in good condition & priced fairly. There’s also a desk at the back to sell your gently used materials. I’ve used their website to order books as gifts for others as well - ordering process is simple, staff is helpful & they send shipping/ order confirmation updates via email. Looking forward to stopping in again!

  • Kris Jags

Easily my favourite shop in the city. Great selection and deals that come through every day. The folks that run the buying desk are fair and knowledgeable. The kids department upstairs is perfect for easy gifts with a wide range of books, activities, and even some toys. There's an expansive comic and graphic novel section as well as the basement with music and other media relics to stumble upon. I can't ever leave this place without another item to eventually file in my ever full bookshelf. A must-visit for any bibliophile.

  • Darrin MacCauley

Living an hour's drive away, it takes a bit of effort to drive in and find parking, yet I continually make the trip every few months because this is the best bookstore I've ever been in. I've been visiting this store for several years now, and have always left with bags in hand and empty pockets. Even if I don't find a book that was on my list, I always find other interesting reads. The store is always clean, well-kept, well-stocked, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this store highly enough!

  • C I

Fantastic!! Truly a great book store from top to bottom ! Most people say 3 floors but there is a basement at that makes it 4 floors !! Top floor is my personal favorite, comics comics comics ! Just awesome , new and back issues with tons of variants and new issues every week ! Basement is great for the old and forgotten, back wall case always has a gem or two ! Fist and second floors are everything and in between!! If you enjoy literature or know someone that dose , this is the place in Toronto for you and them !

  • Kailyn Cloutier

Absolutely love this place. I could easily spend hours perusing all the shelves across the multiple floors of the store. The sheer volume of books here is unparalleled. I managed to find all the books in a series I've been looking to read, all of which were in good shape. Great selection, and great discounted prices. Staff is super helpful. A must-visit spot for any bookworm needing their book fix and not wanting to bankrupt themselves in the process.

  • Kimberly Hoare

A classic bookstore of Toronto. BMV has been around Toronto for years and this particular store location is a landmark. I've purchased books at discount prices and enjoyed them twice as much because I paid so much less! This store is an excellent source of reading material and knowledge for students of any age! Friendly and helpful staff are there to help you find whatever you need. Go get yourself a deal on a good book. Thank you BMV!

  • Jonathan Lau

Decent selection of used books at reasonable prices in this gigantic bookstore that spans multiple levels. My 6 year old daughter loves coming here to browse the children’s section on the second floor. They have all sorts of books from Dog Man to Magic Tree House and many graphic novels for Marvel and DC. We found some Pokémon books the last time we were here, so we picked up a couple. This bookstore also accepts Amex which is a plus.

  • Michael Vinovich

A bookstore! Part of the enthusiasm of this review has to do with how rare bookstores in general are these days, but BMV encourages the kind of stay-all-afternoon visits to hunt down rare treasures or good buys. It's the scale of the place that lets you discover odd categories and even vintage vinyl in the basement. Definitely worth a visit for budget seconds and even rare signed editions.

  • Anindita Satpathi

Absolutely love the selection of titles in the fiction literature section that can take ages to go through because it's spread over four (maybe six) rows. I probably wouldn't find a specific book or author if I looked for it but I'd get half a dozen alternatives that are as great. Huge fan of the prices too, hands down the cheapest and best quality books I've come across in Toronto.

  • Craig Bromberg

A well know used and new book store on Bloor (maybe even considered an icon), BMV (or Books, Movies, Videos) is three levels of reading joy with a large number of literary categories covering philosophy, to history, to poetry, to cuisine...plus a specialty book section...an an immense sci-fi/fantasy/comic book area on the third floor. If books are you thing then visit BMV. Enjoy!

  • Rafael Ribeiro

Even though I'm a frequent customer, I can only give this BMV one star. Unfortunately, one can expect rude employees from time to time here, in particular at the second floor. While dealing with a customer's actions, specially if they are unintentional, there are certainly kinder and more empathic ways to communicate. Politeness should be the minimum standard in such situations.

  • Linda Louise

An aaaaamazing place with informed and friendly staff! There is everything imaginable here, so be sure to check each floor. The Austinland corner was my favorite spot. And the downstairs with dvds lead to great conversation and making new friends. I highly recommend heading inside and stocking up on gifts and seeing what gems they have to offer. Looking forward to another visit!

  • Tung Nguyen

Visiting Bookstores is my favorite. And coming here is no exception, even though it is a bookstore in a strange place, not in our country, another language. This is a big bookstore with 2 floors. Books are organized into categories that are very clear with many topics. Friendly and helpful staffs. Book prices in Canada are much more expensive than book prices in my country.

  • Matthew McKay

One of my favourite bookstores in Toronto to find rare, and interesting finds. They keep new and used collections with loads of interesting covers to keep any book lover with a passion for particular aesthetics amused. Carry a wide array of cds and comics on separate floors as well. One of the highlights of the annex, and a nice and spacious store where you feel welcome.

  • K K

This is one of the best bookshops in Toronto. It’s a huge location with inexpensive, good condition books. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. There’s a program where they buy used books too. The issue with this location is it’s not accessible. There’s one step at the front door. The store does have a ramp but it’s small; it needs to be longer.

  • Nick Zarlenga

Great bookstore. Unfortunately doesn't care at all about the safety of their customers. Alllwed a lady in with a DOBERMAN PINCER without a muzzle. Was barking and jumping at people the entire time. Staff did not ask her to leave. This is CRAZY. Get your act together BMV. Cant imagine the lawsuit you'd have on your hands if a child were bit. Irresponsible!!!!

  • Kunal Asarsa

The largest selection of books, comics and music that I've seen around. Not only is this space huge, BMV is known for their bargain values and deals on books. Right now they're even running 3 items for $10 pop up store next door, which is not to be missed !! The store has a bit of an unconventional arrangement of books, but you get used to it quite fast.

  • Marisha Jones - Lennon

An amazing selection of books over multiple floors, slightly fewer fantasy books than I would have liked, but that's just down to personal preference. The staff made sure you knew they were there if you needed any help but otherwise let you roam the shelves to your hearts content. The books were much more reasonably priced than other places I've visited.

  • Anthony Alexandre

Every time I've dropped by, I picked up at least one book. Their selection is vast on the 4 floors of the building. If you're a comic/manga reader, the top floor is specifically dedicated to them. They also sell their books online, so if you know what you're looking for, have a look on their website and pick up your books when they email you to

  • A RG

My favorite spot to pick up books—especially those that are new and still in print. I find that it is a reliable place where I can almost always count on finding what I need. And I think the price is really hard to beat. Also serves a great spot to hang out while waiting to meet up with someone and be sheltered from the cold in the winter.

  • Sasha “Ranfo” Stefanov

This place is a really neat spot for going down a culture rabbit hole. The basement section has some really weird zines that pull you in with their covers. Otherwise they have virtually everything from gifts to graphic novels. The prices for a lot of the stuff on "sale" isn't anything to write home about, but it's still worth a stop!

  • milo jack

Great selection of books but the real standout is all the great graphic novels on the top floor. Have managed to find so many amazing and out of print books for cheap and this store is the only reason I can read so many comics. It also has some manga though not a huge selection, definitely a must visit for any Toronto comic fan

  • Apollo Reinfield

The range of comics was simply insane, though you probably won’t find your niche crossover (like I didn’t (Transformers crossovers)). The labeling isn’t great in ALL the store areas (we were mostly on the third floor), but I did manage to find what I was looking for! Staff were friendly and didn’t hesitate to help us at all!

  • Simon Michaels

For a mostly used book store they have a wide selection but I find it hard to find anything in particular I ever want at this location - especially as older and used books store are not a common commodity. They also do not have a catalog detailing what materials they do have and you have to go in person to rummage and hope.

  • Elowyn Javor

A great place to walk in and browse the selection. That being said, while most books are quite discounted compared to original price/Indigo Chapters, there are other mom and pop bookstores that offer competing prices while being locally run. I would go to those places first as the BMV often runs low on typical classics.

  • Eugene Wong

This is a popular spot in central Toronto. I find it frustrating that you can't look up titles because they haven't bothered to modernize and computerize their inventory and point of sales systems. There is value in just browsing the bookshelves, but it's also possible to have a lookup system at the same time.

  • Samantha Loaiza

BMV stores have become of my favourite places to buy books! I lost the track of time so easily here because the place is beautiful, well-organized and full of options in every genre you can think of. The staff is super friendly and know basically where most stuff is. Keep u the good work and never close :)

  • Julie Adams

There's always a hidden gem to be found here! They've got a large selection that's always rotating, so it's not the same old books every time you go in. They even get some new releases pretty close to the release date, which is an awesome deal! And it seems the cafe next door is getting some sort of revamp

  • Peter Klages

A multistory bookstore, where 'bookstore' feels like a fully inadequate word since it has a bit of everything: from collectibles to music (vinyl and CDs) to puzzles, games, videogames and of course a very wide range of books. It's a fun and quirky shop and a great spot to wander and find amazing finds!

  • Jon Newman

No parking specific for this location but throw your vehicle wherever you can or just take transit. We wandered around this store for a while looking at everything they had to offer. My wife was very interested in a lot of the books they had for sale. Very cool store and a great atmosphere

  • Sachie Mendez

Great selection!! Not only books but also DVDs, notes, and comics. Staff are very friendly. And I stopped by the BMV cafe yesterday (next to the book store name is BMV cafe, probably new? Idk cuz not on Google map yet), staff was so nice!! I really enjoyed coffee and atmosphere there.

  • JC Sousa

I love this place. Great selection on books and extremely fair prices. There's something for every reader here. I always walk out with an armful of books. Highly recommend to all bibliophiles out there!!! You won't be disappointed. Great selection of kids books too and music as well!

  • LunarRam

Massive bookstore with plenty of comics, manga, cookbooks, novels, references, kids books, history books, language books and many other kinds of literature. If you’re just browsing, just looking through their selection is incredible. They also sell a few figures and collectibles.

  • Bryan Igreja

This place is like...the best place in Toronto to buy and sell books, hands down. Awesome location, cool space, great staff, and excellent selection of books (and other stuff I usually don't touch, but like Vinyls, DVDs, some games). Definitely check them out if you haven't!

  • William S. Vincent

The staff know their stuff - books, magazines, Records and DVD’s. They’re always helpful and friendly and in my opinion they give the best prices for used books and DVD’s. For a used book/DVD store they have an amazing selection. Lots of new release DVD’s to choose from.

  • Robert Lytle

Great used book store with phenomenal prices. Pretty much all the books are in great condition, practically new in lots of cases so the pricing is even better. Staff is nice and helpful. Lots of various books, dads and Blu rays and even records. Well worth the trip.

  • Dawn Elizabeth

Definitely has lost its branding with the wave of selling brand new books. I feel like BMV has always been known for their second-hand books, but ever since they started selling brand new books the store has become so much more expensive than it was. Disappointing!

  • Erfan Movassaghi

IF you are book lover, stop whatever you are doing now and go to this place. It downstairs matter what I say, you should see it yourself, 4 floor second hand books with mind blowing cheap prices. That's it the best I've ever seen anywhere. You must see it yourself.

  • glacialshatter

My first visit to this store was an awesome one.....touring through each floor seeing what the store has to offer. I didnt make a purchase , but I know where to go if I'm looking to start a comic or book collection.... plus add a funko pop to my current collection.

  • Ruchita Deshpande

Great collection of books on every topic that you can think of and some topics that you can’t. There is an entire floor dedicated to graphic art - graphic novels, comics and such. I completely missed it the first time since I skipped the children’s book section.

  • Florence McCambridge

Great selection of graphic novels, cookbooks, and children's books. I also love the section they have for vintage paperbacks. As with most used bookstores, it's better to go in with a general idea of what you're looking for instead of a list of specific titles.

  • Joseph Deveau

Amazing bookstore. Minus 1 star because their new hours make it nearly impossible for me to go there anymore. Please consider expanding your hours back to regular service. Going to BMV on a whim in the evening always resulted in me purchasing more books!

  • Karen Lau

Very helpful and kind staff, with a huge selection of books and media. Prices are not the cheapest I’ve ever seen, but almost all merchandise were in new/almost new condition, so I do think the prices were fair. Could easily spend a lot of time in here!

  • Rocky Wong

Anyone still looking at printed media should be visiting. Not just bargains but here is a place where print thrives. Don't forget to stop by the basement and see some used cd/vinyls,bluray/DVDs ..and music mags.. Just a great place to find some treasure

  • NIKHIL MUKHIJA

The one thing they need the most is catalogue atleast of the author names if not every book Went three times didn't find the books I wanted Bought others though The order of shelve arrangement is also not as per author's name as was told by the cashier

  • Keith Q

Always great prices and very good selection. While we don't always find the newest books or all the books in a given series, the possibility of finding something is always high. I always go to BMV before going to Indigo when looking for something.

  • Michael Robinson

New and used books are sold together in this pleasant bookstore. The store is beautifully laid out on four floors. Knowledgeable staff. Records, DVDs are in the basement. Science Fiction on the top floor. Best of all: the prices are quite low.

  • Mohammed Syed

Great bookstore like most BMV stores, much bigger than the Yonge-Eg branch with lots of great varieties. As expected, great prices too and quite busy for a Sunday evening. Friendly service and three floors full of books and music. Great spot!

  • Steve Szilagyi

Manages to provide everything from manga to music alongside a satisfyingly rich and varied selection of fiction and literature. I always come away with an armful of hard-to-find titles and obscure treasures. Wish it didn't close so early.

  • Jason Lee

My favourite book shop in Toronto. 4 levels of books so you can find all sorts of books here at great prices. Not everything is used. Those that are used are in very good condition. They've expanded into the collectable market somewhat.

  • Stephen Lamers

Great selection of used books and new books. Best prices around. Great comic books and graphic novels a like with movies and vinyl in the basement. Overall amazing store of all things books, graphic novels, movies and music. Best around

  • Osama Sidat

Lovely discounted books store with 4 floors full of books, comics and CDs! The staff was very helpful, and we enjoyed browsing around, and locating some fun finds! I definitely want to come back and spend more time on the comics floor

  • Maria K

Disappointing selection of books. Bestsellers at the front are pretty expensive. Staff on the third floor think you’re going to steal and demand you leave your bags with them. Threw me off, never had to do at any other BMV location.

  • Luis Ramirez-Liberato

I absolutely love coming here once a week to browse through their bin of new arrival comics and to find whatever book it could be I desire. You are bound to find something you will love here, both book and comic book lovers alike.

  • Gabs S

Perfect place. So many books and books and books. Affordable prices. And a sale section which is amazing for some steals. "The" place for someone who loves books to visit and buy books. I would live there if i could. Great staff!

  • Mike Pearse

Nice room, clean room, updated bathroom, great price at the time (I used Hotwire), great location...parking is expensive despite in/out privileges. Flat rate for 5pm to 5am + the flat rate for 5am to 5pm = $26; they charge $40!

  • Mariel “Roadie”

My favourite place to go used book shopping! It’s such a big place with so many books to choose from. I even found some more obscure poetry books here. Out of my 3 trips so far, I’ve bought about 10 books I absolutely love.

  • bryan nguyen

The staff are friendly and the layout is very straightforward. The variety changes every few weeks, so it's a treasure hunt for your favorite reads. Reasonably priced and most are in new to slightly used condition.

  • Victor Gandon

Very cool looking store with a large selection of books. I went there mostly for their records. Happy about the visit although the record selection was not exactly what i was looking for. Would happily visit again.

  • N L

Great place to browse for books! They also have great deals on books and some great used books. However, if you are looking for a place to chill and relax, this is not the place, since they do not have any seating.

  • Arlene

I love bmv .you always find something you want.books, dvds excellent selection. I always leave very happy. Staff downstairs are very nice and helpful. I try to visit at least 3-4times a month.always something new.

  • Abbiyaahwu Asha

If I say what I want to say about how good I think this place is, you will think I am exaggerating. So all I will say is, go and check it out for yourself, you will not be disappointed! …

  • G J

A truly remarkable collection of foreign-language books. Probably the best place in Toronto for used books in German. Also lots of high-quality used textbooks, though they’re not cheap. Prices are firm.

  • Joshua Immanuel

Surprised I've never been here. Place is huge, people are nice, staff is friendly and it just feels like a good vibe escpailly compared to the big box book stores.. loved it here. Def coming back

  • Sam West

I love coming here! There are some fantastic little oddities to sift through and everything is incredibly well priced and great quality. I've never left this store without at least one book

  • Joe Doggo

Great book store it really is a pleasure to shop here. They have great prices on books and all of them are clean and in great condition. Located right in the Annex it's great location also.

  • Karin Porter

Three levels of Books, Music, and Videos. Basement stocked with videos and vinyl records! Nice small selection of 'Other' items as well such as mugs and gaming items, Action figures etc.

  • Christopher B

I love all the BMVs. I love going through and finding rare gems. And of course the savings. From fiction, memoirs to graphic novels they have it all! And always a helpful staff. …

Had bought a set of books for my friend's kids at this 2-storey bookstore. Great location with wide selection of books in this spacious store. Definitely a good place for book lovers.

Store and selection are wonderful, they should get employees who are just as nice. Unfortunately that is not the case and someone can expect to run into rude employees at this store.

  • Tere Zúñiga

The place is ok, but I couldn't find the book I was looking for, when I ask for some help, an employee told me that they don't use any kind of system to check what they have or not.

My kids love this place. This is bigger then the one on Yonge. You will save lot of money if you are a comic book lover and looking for some rare collection and excellent price.

Great spot to browse and find a wide range of books, both new and used. Kids have an opportunity to sample books under the tables upstairs, creating their own personal forts.
