This place have a most Pathetic customer service, i am new in this area and i have seen poor reviews about this place but experiencing such miserable service on first visit is so heartbreaking. I have to submit passport application and for that i need to wait 25 min in a queue, by the time i reached out to counter it was 4:50 PM, i have been call out by the person on left most counter and once he have seen me with passport application he said he is about to finish and asked me to the go to the right most counter where one customer was already getting served and the he told me to queued up behind that customer. The guy on the right most counter was in the room to get the parcel for the person in front of me, when he came back and have seen me in queue he start shouting on me 'why you are here?' I told him and pointed out your that colleague asked me to go to this counter, he shouted again 'go back to that counter' and screaming for his supervisor. This is so terrible that you are shouting on customer face and guy on left counter dont want to serve customers with passport application and routing them here and there, it really made me upset. By the time supervisor showed up the guy on the middle left counter asked me to come over and he processed my application. Giving 1 star for whole experience.

Very unhappy with this branch. The delivery guys never deliver the parcels to your front door as promised, they call you up and rudely ask you to meet outside the building which is inconvenient if you have to work from home all the time and simply just can't go down stairs. They sometimes use Covid as an excuse. I've asked them to just leave my parcel in front of my door several times but they just ignore my request and keep demanding that I come downstairs. As for the branch itself, every time I go in there, one of the staff members yells my personal information out loud where every one can hear it, EVERY TIME. You can see my name on my ID with my photo as well on the parcel details, what's the point of yelling it out loud There is a bit of passive aggressiveness and impolite manner at which everyone working for this branch seems to operating under. I'm almost thinking about relocating just to avoid my parcels coming through there.....

I’m not gonna bore you with my review. Just the transcript of the actual exchange that just occurred between me and the post office employee just moments ago. “Am I colour blind?” Says the man holding my form behind the counter “I’m sorry?” I respond “Am I colour blind?” He repeats again “No you’re not” his assistant responds “I’m sorry is there a problem with the form?” “You’ve made a HUGE mistake” says the man “I’m sorry can you explain what’s the problem?” I respond “You’ve signed this in blue ink” he finally reveals “Oh I’m sorry I didn’t know, I have it online can you just print the form again for me and I’ll sign it in black?” “That’s another problem…we don’t have a printer here” he says unapologetically. “….but you’re a post office?!” I say puzzled “Come on Monday….next” as he literally shoos me off without looking at me and directing his attention to the next customer.

I'm quite shocked to have to rate them as 1, as generally has been a nice PO when you get to know the staff, and I have had plenty of great service there. Today sadly one of the staff was quite rude. He refused to sell me a prepaid express post box if I wanted the prepaid post option, and he tried to turn it onto me, stating "What would you like me to do" and swiveled his screen to show how he couldn't do it. He wouldn't tell me if they had changed this recently even though I let him know it's something I do there all the time. Essentially that was it, and too bad. I called a nearby post office later on to check if they would do it, their response: "Of course no problems, please come in whenever you are ready". It will be refreshing to use another PO.

Have been working from home ever since the covid restriction started. I've had 5 of my parcels delivered directly to the post office without any attempts being made to get it delivered at my address even though I've been home all the time .Raised too many complains with Australia Post regarding this issue. No proper follow-up from their end and lastly they ended up telling me that my intercom is broken which is working perfectly fine. Amazon and Uber eats seems to figure out the way to work the intercom perfectly but somehow magically my Intercom does not work for Australia Post delivery drivers. absolutely ridiculous service by Australia Post and bunch of incompetent workers.

This Post Office is a prime example of over bloated bureaucracy. It is surprising that anything gets done. There is always someone "looking" busy at this post office yet they are do not engage with the customer. I have had several notices in my mailbox for parcels, yet when presenting them with the card (from them) they don't seem to know where my package is. The Post Master said he would trace it then get back to me....NOTHING! Customer NO SERVICE is more than likely what will great you at this post office with the attitude "you are disturbing the peace". AVOID at all cost. Unfortunately for me...I live in the area and this is the POST OFFICE that services me!

“Oh, the parcels are everywhere and you’ll have to come back on Monday morning” - said a staff member, even though my package arrived a day earlier. If you go to this Post Office, expect the worst and hope for the best. Something is seriously wrong with this place - staff, procedure, something with the lighting, maybe? - whatever it is, they just seem completely incapable of completing even the simplest of tasks. The staff are rude, which is probably because the people that enter the office are constantly annoyed that they can’t do what is expected of a post office. Probably divert your packages to a different office, anywhere is better than here.

Unreasonably slow service. Lines are often out the door and people are waiting for over an hour just to pick up a package. The staff seem to be on a permanent go-slow and do not move at an appropriate pace at all. They have a sign at the front which states “Our team is working hard to help you. We have zero tolerance for aggressive or abusive behaviour.” However, it’s clear there is no hard work going on here at all. My advice is to show up early to pick up packages and to wear a hat during summer. You’ll need it. Maybe pack a lunch and some drinks to help you survive the seemingly decades-long wait in the queue. Utter garbage.

Incredibly slow!!!! Do your staff know how to use a keyboard?? I can tell they are paid hourly and not a piece rate lol. I have been going to this post shop at least 2 times per week for the last 5 years (and collect mail daily from it). Every task no matter how simple or hard seems to take forever. Simply trying to change a PO Box name has eventuated into 3 visits so far with more to come. Every time I go in there is something else required. I really hope AUS Post see all of these reviews and actually make a change. In all of my years going to different post offices I have NEVER come across one on par with this.

This place does make me think that maybe there is such a thing as 'too old to work...' The lady at the early morning counter for pickup last week was just about there. She had no sense or desire for helping people and was clearly irritated by the fact that she had to do anything. She didn't speak a lot other than 'go away!'; and was 'shooing' people by gesture from the window as we waited for our parcels which were being brought out by a second lady who seemed to be the only one who was working. This has been my local PO for over 10 years. feel more disgusted than disappointed !

I have been using this post office for the last 5 years and I never had any problems with the parcel or staff attitude. I wouldn’t say they may seem slow because they have to deal day to day with all different people and make sure they giving right parcel to the right person . They deal with a lot of other things like passport photo, bill pay, sending parcels and probably a lot more than I know. They are very professional and polite but the problem is that only people who ever had any problems write reviews and only a few of the ones who have had good experience.

Please please find a second person for before hours parcel pick up! This is the second time I've tried to collect the same parcel. On Monday I was told it had been sent back to the company but when I called them they advised that the parcel tracker says it's still at the post office. I have been standing in line for a good 10 minutes now just waiting.The lady is sweet but takes a long time to find any items (if she finds them at all). If you are going to offer this service, please make the process efficient. The wait times and service levels are way too painful.

Disappointed customer: Went to use western union service, after waiting for 20 minutes got my turn. However, the guy just kept my papers aside and started serving other customers without telling me anything. I assume my job would take time but he needs to inform me if so, and besides I waited for 20 minutes on the queue already. Even the other lady on the queue told him "why don't you serve him first". I eventually had to take back my papers and walk away. Arif.. (I think that was what his name was) never do this to anyone again..!!

Bunch of liars. They take the heavy stuff straight to the post office and say the delivery was attempted and no one was available. I work from home and I am always there. In fact they made a delivery within 5 mins of the said attempt and conveniently left the heavy item at the post office. And this stupid branch is at location you won't even find free parking around it. So either you pay to park close by or walk a few blocks with the heavy item. Talk to them about it and all you get is a poker face and some made up nonsense.

Entirely frustrating with a stay at home parent and some how notices are still dropped in the box on more than a handful of occasions. Knowing my partner is unable attend to the post and retrieve any sort of parcel equals bad service. The couriers even with express post do not even attempt to buzz. Several ocassions they deliver notices on a Friday and they are not open Sat...doesn't make sense in the least bit. In house service average but no real personality to make people feel welcome, line up please and thats about it.

I was just in here around 2.40pm the lady serving took forever with one customer who was picking up a parcel, not to mention she was having a long social chat with her for 20 minutes while the line was getting bigger and bigger. Very unpleasant having to line up while waiting for their social conversation to end. There is a time and place for social conversations and at the post office with so many people in line is not one of them. Especially while they are having to wait, so long for her to serve one customer.

I have been going to this post office for the past 6+ yr's. I have to go there on a weekly basis for various things. Can't say much for there lack of service except "DISGUSTING" . Customer service appears to have gone out the window a very long time ago. Not to mention there general attitude toward snail passed service. These people have NO idea nor do they even care about providing the necessary service to the general public. I TREAT THEM EXACTLY HOW THEY TREAT ME.

Not sure if they even bother to read their customers' feedback, but apart from their unprofessional behaviour, my biggest concern is the pace in which people work here, the old guy who served me for my passport application works too slow with no passion to serve his customers. A job that can be done in a fraction of a second takes an hour to be completed. I'm sorry for being rude, but he also keep on sparring with other staff as if he is just a little kid.

This is the slowest service I have ever experienced in a post office. Every time I come here I am waiting for a very long time even when there is only a wait of two people. The staff do not care whatsoever about getting customers through in a timely fashion. They take their time and move at a snail's pace. I am surprised that considering the reviews, Australia post isn't taking disciplinary action on the staff in this store. Very disappointing.

Customer service always woeful here, not that I would ever expect their staff to care. Their unfriendly, unhelpful attitude a constant. An issue today that was just too difficult for this place to resolve was fixed at another Australia Post immediately and with ease. Not the first time this has happened either. And I didn't have to tolerate any unpleasantness. Mistakes I can forgive but it isn't hard to be friendly or try to be helpful.

I have been coming to this place quite often to collect parcels for about three years. The people who work here need to be let go honestly. You have a old man who moves one metre an hour I’m quite concerned about his health because he looks like he could pass away at any moment (Indian guy). And The rest? Ha! most of the time are pretty rude. I’ve had enough I redirect my items to locker parcels so I don’t have to deal with these guys.

Possibly the worst Post Office in Australia. Slowest staff. Took my license and didn’t return it - had my contact details, but could not be bothered calling my mobile to let me know they had it. Dangerously positioned building for pedestrians & people getting in & out of cars, right on a super busy intersection. Have almost been hit several times. Have to pay for parking to pick up parcels or walk for blocks. Typical Australia Post.

Terrible customer service! I work from home and every time I get anything delivered with this branch, it goes straight to the post office. They tell you the parcel is on it's way so you're prepared and waiting for it and no one shows up. If you try to complaint you will be ignored and will be looked at in a condensing manner by the staff. If you live in the area, I'd recommend using other delivery carriers besides this branch.

After 20 minutes waiting from around the corner I finally got inside and it all mate perfect sense. The painfully slow shuffle with which the line was moving slowly forward was the exact same as the painfully slow shuffle of the staff behind the counter. When they eventually got to behind the counter that is. Much time was also spent painfully shuffling in the back room. Update 20 min later still here. Only 1 behind counter.

The lady who assisted me on the 12 of March was very impolite. She asked me if the money i sent was my mum in Myanmar,and when i said yes she went I know this country is very poor. She also asked me if i was born in Australia. I know it does sound like the normal comments and questions but that was not a case with her, she was inappropriately and unprofessionally nosy. Its very unpleasant to be served by someone like this.

This post office is a disgrace. The staff speak in their own language all the time between themselves, no customer service at all. Shocking behavior, I paid premium price for Express delivery within Sydney. It took them four days to deliver it, and no one takes responsibility of their actions. Worst post office. Customer service is non exis. Staff think they have a very secured job. Such a waste of tax payers money!!

You would think it’s on purpose when you walk in and see the painfully slow shuffle of the staff behind the counter, with all the time in the world to go and get your parcel. The staff either need a coffee or a new job that doesn’t require fast paced work when you have a queue of 17 people. Australia post need to do something about this post office because I would go as far to say it’s one of the worst in Australia.

There is a middle-aged man working at this post office who behaves very very bad with customers. The staffs are really slow and any time I've been there, I waited at least 30 minutes to do my work and there isn't any free parking there for more that 15 mins. Also they can't organize the customers and sometimes somebody just go out of the line and do their work before others. Hope they improve their customer service.

Very very bad service, bad attitude and appallingly slow service. Need a staff overhauled! I went to collect a small parcel recently and was told rudely that it was not there even though I was already notified earlier by the seller. Told to come back again the next day, which I refused. Eventually after I showed them the email from the seller, the rude Indian man reluctantly slowly went to search and found it.

Avoid this post office at all cost. If enjoying rude customer service is your thing, then this is the post office that will cater you to a tee. Staff are obnoxious and rude. They will lose/misplace your parcels and then put the blame on you. They will lie to your face. They stuffed up my parcel and said it was return to India when I had never ordered or received anything from that country. SIghz! Pathetic!

Very busy place , because of mail being directed here if driver don't deliver , have to wait in line every Saturday morning from 910am before opening at 930am to get my parcels. It's frustrating as heck and especially when workers can not find your parcel, but they try at least a few times before turning you away.. western union here is great but you have to be extremely patient with the service you get

No updates online on tracking on the day of delivery,on the card time to collect the parcel was mentioned after 4.50 pm didn't allow to collect by 5.02 pm coz they of course closed by 5 such a short window to collect for an important parcel I was expecting. Could have been there on time had I been notified via sms or had they even updated the status..as per online tracking its still saying in transit..

Staff have always been very helpful and nice, can't complain about their service. It does appear they are understaffed however when I've had to renew our passports we made appointments and had no issue. Our parcels are usually delivered timely. We've been using this post office for almost 10 years. I can say with confidence that we've not yet a negative experience with this particular post office.

I have always found the North Parramatta team to be friendly, helpful and professional and have no hesitation in giving them a much deserved 5-star rating! This Post Office is often very, very busy and perhaps customers take this out with their negative ratings: it's not the fault of the North Parramatta team if a lot of people choode to go to this particulat Post Office at the same time.

Australia Post North Parramatta does not even deserve a rating, even in negative! The staff are exceptionally uncommitted and slow. They have zero customer service talent and skills and are just there to do the 'job' to get 'paid'. Horrible customer service experience. This is one of the slowest serving post offices around. The staff is incredibly slow and one guy constantly takes 10 minutes per customer. No matter the inquiry. During busy times, they only ever have at most 2 staff members on the counters. Most people on a weekend just want to get in, get their packages and go, but you're waiting for about 1/2 an hour just to get it

Terrible….very slow…..line is outside. Left and went to the post office in Westfields in Parramatta but they are closing end of this month. What are we going to do? Residents need efficient staff in the North Parramatta office. They say they are understaffed but it’s because they are so slow. Get some fresh blood & change the management there. Place is bit crowded most of days. Went to collect a parcel which was pending for 3 weeks. I did not have any notice or tracking number. Staff helped me patiently and searched through system and then found my parcel at the back of the storage. AusPost may screwing the notifications to collect your parcels, but staff at post office will help you.

There are 3 counters open. One only does parcel pick..but there is no sign to indicate this..just the girl shouting it out every 5 mins. The other 2 counters are doing passports. Poor organisation. There should be a counter for quick general services and not 2 dedicated to passports that takes ages..the line is currently out the door

I have went to this post office many times. Extremely unhelpful staff. Apart from being very slow they dont go beyond to help their customers. I was rejected a form for some stupid reason there. Went to another post office and they accepted it without any issues. Its frustrating to stand in que and then return without any result.

Don’t ever ever ever go there unless you absolutely have to. Slow. Beyond slow. I’m sure the staff are lovely people and this is not a personal attack against them. It is an extremely busy post office and everyone who works there is just so slow. There is zero sense of urgency. Don’t come here unless you are desperate.

Shocking. I pay hundreds of dollars to have a PO Box here, yet no free parking close by and today I stood waiting in a line for over 1 hour to collect my parcels. THEN the stagg had the hide to argue with me I had no parcels to collect. After insisting someone else check...low and behold... my 2 parcels were located.

Incompetent and comically slow (Sloth in Zootopia comments are accurate). Refused to accept provided Client Authorisation Form as part of a Land Title Verification of Identity Check. This is a basic part of the process as described on the Australia Post website. Had to go elsewhere and pay again.

Staff give differing information all the time. Some of the staff 2 in particular are extremely slow and incompetent. Asking for my email address and asking me to sign up for things that are absolutely not needed when there is a huge queue behind me. No sense of urgency. No idea.

This is a very busy Post Office, however, the ladies who work in the sorting area are absolutely delightful both Irene and Rhonda go out of their way to ensure parcels are delivered to the early morning counter with a pleasant greeting they are always so helpful and cheery.

I never complain about service but this post office truly has unbelievably bad service. Don't bother with the 15 minute free street parking outside because you have no chance of getting in and out in that time frame, even if there's only one or two people in the store.

By far the worst post office I've been to. Sadly it is our local end up there quite often. Always have to plan ahead as the staff take as long as humanly possible to serve each customer. I'd recommend allowing ~30mins if your picking something up.

Terribly rude and inconsiderate and disrespectful staff. Maybe they should hire younger staff with better social interaction and communication skills and just basic manners I guess.

This post office is severely understaffed all the time. Currently, queued in store and about 20 people queuing outside on the pavement. Ridiculous!!
