Staff Nikhil's service is awful and extremely unpleasant. I have waited for my parcel for 2 months but it hasn't been delivered to me, so I called 131318 for help, my call was transferred to him, who is from the international team. Firstly, he gave me the misleading and wrong information. He said your parcel has been sent back to the sender and you won't get it anymore. While the Au Post app said your parcel is awaiting for international departure, but it hasn't been handed over to the air or sea carrier yet, which means my parcel is still in Australia. Secondly, I asked to talk to his manager, he said I can't talk to his manager, I need to leave my details and request a call back. I asked what his manager's name, he said his manager won't call me because she's on holiday. He said you need to wait until Monday, someone else will call you back. Last but not the least, I have waited for the parcel for 2 months and this is urgent, I asked him to transfer me to someone else, but he hang up the phone. Nikhil doesn't have any sympathy or mercy. He doesn't think in customers' shoes, but only care about himself. I have waited for 2 months, how frustrated I am. When I call the customer line, I'm seeking for help, not expect the misleading information and arrogant + none of my business attitude. He made the situation more difficult.

The worst post office experience, there is this lady there who is so rude and makes it look like its you who is doing her a favour by asking for assistance. I had a parcel that was sent to another PO and when i asked for help as it would return back she just said go home ill call you tomorrow with an update and no need to come here. I never got any call from her and the day after i just called the toll free straight (even though it wasn't urgent as meds or passport - btw those are the only 2 reasons they say you can call for else leave a note online which i did too!) as i had no other option they said it was returned back to the US. I waited for 2 months for the item, it got sent to another PO without my knowledge, i asked for help on different platforms and they sent it back which is absolute rubbish. I am just so disappointed on how the staff there treated me and then just did nothing to help which wasted my day with my parcel being sent back. The online query i put through (9th April 2020) only responded yesterday!! I have signed up for parcel locker now so as to avoid as much interaction with the staff there tbh because its just not pleasant.

Poor customer service, 0 problem solving skills. Worst post office... My parcel got lost over Christmas because they couldn't find the address. Address that was already registered (as previously parcels have been sent). I was told my parcel was straight away sent back to overseas. No proof of contact me, message, letter... Four months later I've been told my parcel has arrived to Spain, after my family complained about being lost. The letter says, there were attempts to deliver in dates after I was told my parcel was sent back to Spain. My parcel has been in Sydney for 3 months and no one ever contacted me, not even after complaining several times since December. "Sorry your parcel has been sent back to Spain, there's nothing we can do".

By far the worst post office I have ever had to deal with, consistently unhelpful at best and downright lazy the rest of the time (probably the slowest moving people I have ever seen). The delivery slips are frequently wrong, or when you take them in the staff tell you they don't have the package until you make them go out and check the back again where it magically shows up (this has happened at least 4 times). We paid for a post office box to try and get around all of this and somehow everything got worse! After purchasing our PObox they wouldn't let me redirect my mail because I needed a receipt attached to the form WHICH SHE REFUSED TO PRINT FOR ME! despite standing directly in-front of a printer. Hopeless at best.

I went to pick up a package, showed her my barcode and had my two forms of non-photo ID ready as per the website requirements for picking up packages. Apparently these were "insufficient" as she refused to accept my medicare and credit card that were mentioned as valid identification. I lost my waller previously which had my drivers license and also my passport is kept at home for safety reasons. Hence why I wanted to use my non-photo IDs. I am lucky to have captured a photo of my passport on my phone to show to her but if I didn't I would have travelled 1 hour to get my identification REJECTED. Please be cautious when picking up your packages.

Useless post office, staff need to be sacked and location needs to be closed down. Went in to collect a parcel, and would not give it to me because i did not provide them with a payslip to say i was the owner of the company, even though the parcel was clearly addressed to me. Go figure. I have had thousands of parcels delivered to other post offices where i show my drivers licence, these people want a pay slip to show i own the company. What the hell are they smoking in that place? I have only ever been twice to this post office (not by choice), and I have had issues both times.

Incompetent and rude staff. It seems as if we are not customers but a nuisance and they are doing us a favour ... Unacceptable! I had to post a prepaid envelope and buy a tracking number and insurance on top of that. The guy seemed unaware that that was a service a post office could provide -- he called his manager who seemed VERY annoyed, and she suggested I used one of their envelopes! Please note that I already had a prepaid envelope sealed and ready to go. In the end, given the rudeness and confusion that they were making, I decided to leave and go to another post office!

It's a post office. I'm not terribly excited about it but I'm kind of mystified as to why the reactions here are so strongly negative. Service is a little sullen in store but I've never had an issue with deliveries (although I'm never home at delivery time and a card is my ideal outcome). The early morning parcel pickup is a good idea and has always been reliable for me, albeit with the aforementioned enthusiasm gap when it comes to service. Then again, I don't imagine that I'd get super jazzed about working in a post office so let's not set our sights too high.

Appalling lack of delivery service. I’ve lost count of how many times an Australia Post delivery driver couldn’t be bothered calling my apartment so I could collect my delivery. I waited at home all day to accept my delivery (which was signature on delivery) only to find a red card in my letter box once again. Now I have to leave work early tomorrow to be able to collect my package before 5pm. Lift your game Australia Post. DHL & other courier companies leave you for dead. Wish I could give you 0 stars. You don’t deserve 1 star.

Went there to lodge my passport application and the guy who handled it insisted the form was not complete. Had to drive back home and check everything again and again and still couldn't find the information that he said was missing. So I brought the old form and went to another post office and it turned out everything was fine and complete and got my application lodged. So if you were at the position and doing your job, please be professional and at least know what you are doing and save people's time. Thank you!

Post offices aren't exactly something I'd typically bother reviewing, but after reading all the bad reviews I felt compelled to do so. It's clear the people that work here care about what they do. I can't speak for how things were in years past, but I had a pleasant experience here and they really went out of their way to assist me. A package of mine had been misplaced temporarily, so Libby, a lady that works there, personally delivered it once she found it. If that's not customer service I don't know what is.

Need PHYSICAL IDs to pick up parcels here, seriously annoying. I'm sending out 2 parcels from my name, which you happily accept. At the same time I need to collect 2 parcels in my name from the exact company I'm sending my parcels to but I get refused. Just want to add that my parcels for collection were originally in the parcel locker and transferred to the actual post office. I find it funny that if I were to collect from the locker direct I'd have no issues but in the post office it's a different story.

Rude staff member who I dealt with. Refused to give me my parcel even though I showed 3 forms of proof of ID. It was simple, I was authorised to pick up a parcel from someone else (a family member) however she just could not figure that out and treated me like I was trying to steal something. Finally once I proved I lived where I said I did she handed it to me with no apology and acted like she was still suspicious of me. Terrible service. Never knew it was so hard to pick up my own parcel.

By far, by so far, the worst post office I've ever frequented. I have lived in the area for four years now and this is my local post office. I might be in there once a week on average and the staff there are simply miserable and rude. Never once have I been greeted with a smile or even a verbal hello - I receive silent service. It must have replaced actual customer service. Any question or request is meet with disdain. Seriously they need ALL new staff to replace these miserable people.

The closure on saturdays recently incorporated (effective immediately, without notice) effectively means that those on a 9-5 job without work from home capabilities cannot access their mail. A post office is a public service foremost, and returning a very small window of flexibility (3 hours operations on a weekend) would substantially assist people in using the parcel service / doing business with auspost. If this issue were to be solved, then I would increase my rating.

If you’re looking for the over enthusiastic greeting of a poor uni student working at a kids restaurant relying on tips to afford a vodka cruiser on the weekend.. this is not your place, it’s a post office. I drop off online shopping returns here weekly, they do the job and will often help tape up my parcel when I’ve done a dodgy job or ran out of tape. I’ve never found the staff to be rude, but perhaps just giving the bare minimum to get through the day. Can’t blame ‘em

I had a parcel delivered by expressed post to the Meriton Suites in Sydney today with all the correct address information which they returned to sender and said it was not a valid address! it is a quarantine hotel and my 2ry old granddaughter is locked in a room for 2 weeks so I wanted to send her something to play with. Australia post you had their phone number and every thing and that wasn't cheap to send it express post, I'm pretty disgusted.

This post office has really lifted it’s service over the last few years. I have been collecting parcels here for 4 years and over that time I’ve seen the customer service improve, staff seem to be happier and dare I say they are even more efficient. People seem to forget that they’re doing a thankless job and if there are any issues it’s not the frontline customer customer service peoples fault. They also offer a service from 6am. Great work!!

I’ve never had a better experience in any Australia Post around the country! Liby and Bel provided an exceptional service. SO friendly, overly helpful and efficient! Good work amongst their team, you can literally feel that flow through to the customer. Can’t thank them enough for such an easy and surprisingly wonderful Australia Post experience, when visiting with a large amount of items that needed sending - this is how AusPost should be!

Had a great experience. With a lot of Australia Post Office locations you have to wait a long time, or they don’t have all the services you want/need. Not the case with these guys. My local post office is Erskineville, but things tend to get sent to this one if I miss a delivery, & I have always had fantastic service. Disappointing to see as many negative reviews for these guys as there are. Just impatience.

The best service ever!!!! Angus (I hope I remember his name correctly) helped me to send big boxes to overseas. He was so patient, kind and helpful. I was a bit stressed, as I was not organised enough and there were quite a few people waiting behind me, but Angus helped me to organise my stuff and directed me to get ready to send the boxes to Spain and Korea. I really appreciate his patience and support!

I went to the post office on Wednesday and the lady was SO helpful and assisted me to register for a business post account so that I would save money with all the parcels I post on a regular basis. She really went the extra mile and I just wanted to say thank you. Usually post office staff look so unhappy but this lady defs had a smile on her face and was so chill and willing to help me.

I feel compelled to post my overwhelmingly positive experiences with these guys. Hundreds of deliveries over many years have gone EXACTLY as expected, as specified, with delivery and office staff being helpful and courteous. Maybe there are some legit negative experiences here but there sure looks like a lot of bratty reviews from people who didn’t get their parcel when they wanted it.

Normally wouldn't think to review a post office, but the rating is so low and my experiences there so vastly different!I've been going here frequently to return items purchased online. Each time I've had a different person serve me, and each time they've been polite, quick, and very helpful. Total time spent there each visit was under five minutes - truly fantastic.

Went on a Sat and the queue snakes around the entire post office. Shows you the demand yet there are only two posties around to serve people. Poor customer service as well. Parcel (used an Ebay shipping label) went over by a bit of weight and was rejected for shipment. The only reason I go back is coz my parcels are carded here, else I will not visit them

Sent back an item I was waiting to the sender a day after receiving it rather than waiting for me to pick it up. Ordered on the 28th, missed it on the 29th, went to pick it up on the morning of the 30th only to be told it was sent back to the warehouse and I'll have to wait until the 5th for it to be returned and possibly further screwed up.

Worst service ever. After complaining 3x of not really ringing the doorbell when a parcel arrives then you will just see in your mail that there was an "attempted" delivery, now they did not leave any card for me so I can claim it. Have to call the AusPost customer service so I can know where the f*#$ they dropped it for claiming.

I felt the need to comment after reading some of the comments posted here. This has been my local PO for 7 years and I have never once in that time had a bad experience. The staff have always been extremely helpful, always cheerful. The store always looks clean and tidy. Thank you to all the staff they do a great job.

Twice I’ve had 2 packages returned to sender by this post office, apparently due to non-collection. However I never received a collection card, or an update on the Australia Post app (which means they never scanned it at the post office) and I am still WFH and never heard the doorbell ring once for a delivery attempt.

Lovely staff who try their best under super challenging conditions with Covid and public holiday's!!! Simply the worst customer service. I asked for a piece of tape as i felt on second thought that my box could perhaps be a little more secure. I was told "sorry we don't do that"....You are a POST OFFICE you are supposed to assist people to send their parcels, not just charge them an arm and a leg! Disgraceful!

The tall western guy working on monday sept 6th was so helpful and honestly the best experience I've ever experienced at the post office. Australia post pickup was down and they helped me patch up all my orders and send them through. Even ushered us out nicely at the end of the day I appreciate their work

I sent a document on 30/1 at this Post, to Stanmore Post code, which is 6km away. Today, 4/2 still not arrived. The parcel was processed at Alexandria on same day pm, then processed at "Sydney facility", then came back to Alexandria Post on 3/2. What a joke. I should have walked to deliver the letter.

The WORST post office i have ever had to deal with! One of the staff members there was just horrible! He was incredibly unhelpful, not to mention sexist! Delivery slips were incorrect, deliveries were late & a complete lack of respect was shown. I will, however, mention the Manger was quiet lovely.

The last two deliveries I have had to go and collect at a branch. The delivery driver did not attempt to deliver my goods. I have some one working from home so the place is always occupied. Makes me wo dear why we should pay for delivery when you have to go and pick it up yourself anyway.

In this day and age we have a lot of instruction as to what makes good customer service; it's not rocket science, it's been around for a long time. So I can only assume that good customer service is old fashioned and out dated and my experience today is possibly the modern Australia Post.

Absolutely terrible. Rude staff and they never actually attempt to deliver parcels or bother leaving slips. Have been home all day waiting for delivery on several occasions, I get notified of an "attempted delivery" on their tracking system, but there is never such attempt, nor slip left.

Why does Australia post Alexandria never leave a card notifying you of a parcel in your letter box anymore? three times now NOTHING. if I hadn't gone online to the tracking site I wound never have known my parcel had been awaiting collection for more than a week. NO CARD. NO SMS.

Paid for platinum post service .My parcel was supposed to be delivered to Adelaide the next business day but have not recieved it yet and the parcel is stuck in some Melbourne facility. It contains my passport with a visa and I need it urgently. Very poor service.

It's been my local Post Office for years. Staff may change, but it's still good service. Actually had a "Bonding" experience with one of the staff members a few weeks ago whilst TRYING DESPERATELY to return my FOXTEL BOX. I'll always return here.

Liby at the counter is very rude. She may not mean to come across as such, but speaking down to me as if I didn’t understand English and throwing my applications paper back at me certainly spoke volume. Pls give her more customer service training.

Slow and unfriendly staff. Walking into this shop feels like time-travelling to the '90s - in a bad sense. And the opening hours are horrendous. I'd rather drive to a 24/7 parcel locker any time, even though this office is just around the corner.

Worst post shop experience. 1. I was at home all day on Friday but was left a card anyway. Bell never rang. 2. The card says working hours on Saturday is 9:30-13:00 but when I get there, it says closed on Saturdays. Please respect other's time.

It is extremely inconvenient that this post office does not have any weekend opening hours. Australia Post refuse to leave packages at apartment blocks in this area, which means having to juggle schedules just to make it down to pick those up.

Yet another useless branch of the useless carrier service. My parcel is stolen after they left it to a "safe" place, which is public entrance of my apartment. After calling them, they advised me to solve the issue with Amazon. Hilarious.

Nice lady at the counter but disappointing to arrive and realise you can't collect your parcel. If it is not your name on the Star Track note, you will need an authorisation letter from but you need to reach the counter to discover that

Similar as some other reviewers, 1 star is overrated. I don’t understand the staff’s judgmental attitude. Staff named Liby is horrible and rude. This branch should not be providing any public service even it is private owned.

Very friendly staff unlike my own LPO, The kind lady went out of her way to make sure my lost delivery was investigated and was very professional. Good customer service should always be acknowledged and not taken for granted.

The customer service isn't amazing but the most egregious problem is the opening hours. 9-5 weekdays only. This is simply unacceptable and impossible for anyone that works a regular job to collect their package.

These guys lose things, get defeated for parcel delivery by a simple gate door, and give bad customer service. They waste your time...The only reason they got one star was that I couldnt give them zero starts

Very helpful and professional staff. I received a call when some bulky packages arrived whilst we were on holiday and it was easy to sort everything out. Really appreciated the caring and excellent service.

The fact that this post shop is not open on the weekends is utterly ridiculous. People who work full time cannot pick up their parcels. Please reinstate the Saturday morning shift.
