I will start by pointing out the good points. Rooms were nice, decent for the price. The night staff were very nice and the cleaners were very nice. However the lady at reception who was very rude, her name is MICHELLE, her bad service and how she treated us override everything else. I have stayed at so many accommodations and by far this has been the worse experience. I was given wrong information for the total price of our rooms, before I arrived, and than checking in to be told it was over 1000 more than I was given, and I was sent confirmation email as well. Anyways i was happy to try and pay as much as we can to cover what total price, the reception staff ended up giving us $200 less because we were short by $200. I appreciated this but it was the attitude it came with. I knew our stay wasnt going to be so pleasant with this staff. There was no apology from them, they looked at me as if i was the liar. I remained calm and my husband was also apologising for something that wasnt our fault but the receptionist MICHELLE just looked at him with a 'i dont care attitude '. She didnt even apologise back. Than our room arrangements was wrong, than i was told by someone our breakfast was free but than told it wasnt free. I just wanted to know which is the correct information. We were happy to pay for our brekky but once again MICHELLE spoke to me like i was a liar and her staff would never say that. I wasnt seeking compensation, we would happily pay but how MICHELLE responded just made it worse. I worked in customer service for over 10yrs and yes there are times where staff give wrong info or customer heard wrong, you just need to apologise and show empathy and give them correct information. But noooo not this Hotel, she just wanted to justify and make me sound like a liar. So it was how this lady responded to me that really turned our stay into a bad experience. When i went to check out, she wanted me to explained what happened in the beginning again with the mix up of the total price, i thought she was going to apologise for the inconvenience but instead she just wanted to point out that they gave us a discount. And yet again she did not apologise. So yes i would not be returning to this Hotel ever again. I hope MICHELLE takes my feedback and applies it..there are some things you can train someone and the rest comes from character. Humble yourself and truely care for your customers no matter what colour they are or if they look poor or rich. It maybe a assumption on my end, but I hope our skin cour didn't have anything to do with how she treated us. Hospitality is the worse place to work if your racist. Coz your going to see people from all walks of life and from every culture. Get over it. Anyways, if you don't care about customer service than by all means.

I had an event on the weekend at Atura and let me say this: If you're a big family and love to eat, this is not the place for you. I paid so much money only to be EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Where do I even begin: * Upon arrival, the food was not ready. No cups/drinks on the table. The food wasn't even out yet. When it was served, it was cold. * There were two tea stations. However, for both coffee machines, the water was not refilled. * There was no one at the bar waiting to serve people. * I ordered buffet to feed 60 people. Whilst we were waiting for the food to be refilled, I was told by one of the employees that there was a limit and that was all the food. There was no more food in the kitchen. Meanwhile, my guests were inside hungry and waiting for food. * Plates - I had to ask the employees to get more plates as there were not enough. * Time limit - My event was from 12PM - 3:30PM. One of the staff was EXTREMELY RUDE to my mother and told her that the event ended at 2PM - TWICE. * The staff were rude to my guests * The OVERALL SERVICE was APPALLING !!! W.T.F ! My mother, parents in law, partner, brother and sister were constantly running around and making sure that our guests were fine and WE CONSISTENTLY went to the front desk to ask them to * refill plates * bring out dessert * ask for a bartender * make sure the food was hot We felt like our event wasn't taken seriously. We paid so much money ($5K) only to be running around - may as well be working a Sunday shift. There was only one young female employee and I must give her full credit for sticking around and doing everything herself. Her male co-worker was no where to be seen after only serving 2 drinks. I wish I got her name to thank her. But to her male coworker and the other older female coworker - what an absolute nightmare. Extremely disappointing and wasted our money. I 1000% would NOT be coming here EVER again !!!!

The hotel isnt too bad for the money and the location was excellent for what we needed. Room was comfortable, (little dusty), TV and movies were a bonus, cot already set up in room ready to go when we got there. Did the online checkin which seemed a waste of time, as when I got there I still had to fill out the same info as what was in the app. A ticket spat out with a room number on it and no indication as to where it was located, just worked it out while waiting for the lift that it was on the ground floor. More like a docket you get waiting for a meal at maccas. No info about changes to parking at time of booking through booking.vom and nothing on the website either. Carpark was closed for line marking (on a weekend). We had to ask about the parking as we had a disability parking ticket and the car park was closed with no alternative parking thought about for disability permit holders. So ticked off as we got back at night and the parking was 1km from the front door, mean while the electric cars were parked right next to the enterance charging. Disable customers had to walk. Too bad if we had a wheel chair, pushing it up a hill to the enterance. Seemed communication with customers needed improving from management so people were fully aware and could book elsewhere as not suitable to their needs. Your manager did offer the loading dock but wasnt sure if we could park there all night and no parking at the door was offered thanks for making the cuatomer look like the idiot.

We stayed in G10, a mobility assist room on the ground floor. Why are mobility assist rooms furthest away from the entrance? Would it hurt to provide a courtesy wheelchair? Why is there a 1960 Cadillac parked in the entrance to the hotel blocking the disability access? Why is the restaurant closed on Friday night and all weekend for anything other than breakfast? Most of the staff are either new and untrained or just clueless, and display a sense of apathy and laziness that i have never seen before. I watched 2 young girls attempt to reset the dining area after the breakfast session, the first one slowly and gently placed the napkin and cutlery on the table and the second one slowly and gently wiped the table, around the napkin and cutlery, being careful not to bump the placements. I thought, Just wipe the table first!. The bed does not allow wheelchair access to both sides, and is placed diagonally across from the TV resulting in a difficult television watching experience while resting. The kitchenette is cute but does not have any dishwasher or wiping/drying products. The microwave model is 7 years old and almost unusable due to the close to the floor placement and lack of room lighting to enable reading of the button labels As for media options, the hotel system in use is very outdated and poorly structured which has no options for watching any social media platforms or logging in to any of your visual accounts and does not support casting from your devices. I could go on but I think you get the idea. Checked in Friday, checking out Monday, will never return.

Good position for raging Waters. Has funky decor that fits in nicely drive-in theatre next to it. Dust on table needs a wipe, the carpets were dusty too. (kids were jumping and could see the dust coming out of it.) TV was not working when we moved in. Had to call reception to fix the issue as I tried to fix it myself but couldn't. I guess the TV doesn't get a wipe down either from the all dust caked on the back of it even though it's on and articulating wall bracket. Fridge didn't cool down any of my drinks. I liked the Decor of the rooms and bathrooms. The bed was comfortable but the kids were sinking into middle of the pull out couch bed and complaining about how thin the mattress was. Pool is good but the glass needed a wipe in the morning as it looked terrible from my table at breakfast. Went to dip my toe in the pool after breakfast and noticed a piece of half eaten mud cake on the floor right next to the pool gate. The breakfast was good even though the coffee machine was out of order. Coffee machine was not working. We was never asked if we would like a hot drink by the waitress. We booked a package which includes breakfast and tickets to raging Waters, the booking was misleading as the tickets were only supplied for 1 day even though we booked to nights and were told to enquire the following morning. We ended up cancelling the second night last minute and checked out on the day we were planning on going the the water park.

After an afternoon wandering around the Blacktown Drive-In Markets, and a picnic at Prospect Reservoir just down the road, my partner and I got to stay overnight at the Atura at Blacktown which is just next door to the drive in cinema. The atmosphere and feeling of the place is quite relaxed and casual. The place is very family friendly and there were quite a lot of kids staying for the Easter Holidays (Raging Waters water Park is literally a few hundred metres away) The bar service and food service was great and the meals were delicious. Not a huge menu but enough to satisfy us. The Atura Big Breakfast was bloody awesome. We managed to down a mojito jug a couple of sangria jugs from the bar specials as well as a couple of beers. The staff are very friendly and helpful and accommodating with and questions. A special shoutout to Lauren the food and beverage manager who has a great hands on approach and seemed to be jumping in wherever needed. In our room, our bed was comfortable and the large screen TV that could swivel around meant we could relax in bed and watch a movie. We also made use of the pool and the table tennis equipment. Were looking forward to staying again and maybe catching a movie at the drive-in next time. Our thanks to all the staff for a lovely stay.

Not the best hotel we have stayed in for the price we paid. It would have been good if the location was closer to the airport. Although the service was excellent the decor in room I thought was tacky. The room was clean when we arrived. As you lay in bed you are looking at a concrete ceiling with a huge yellow painted dot. What was meant to be a king room, you get 1 chair and a cheap 2 seater sofa. We wanted to indulge and ordered ourselves a Wine and Cheese board with Chocolates which was beautifully presented. The wine was perfect, the cheese board was for birds not humans and there was more seeds and sultanas, cranberries and dried fruit. No salami or meat, 2 cheeses and a jelly thing and cheap rice crackers. The Chocolates platter was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh. No dishwash liquid or cloth is provided for the room. 1 flannel to be shared by 2. The shower felt slimy and slippery so we had to be careful. The food in the restaurant and mini bar is riddiculusly expensive. Great swimming pool and outdoor area. A restaurant, bar and tv area along with the reception. The staff were all excellent.

My family of four stayed overnight for a little getaway. Check in was easy and staff were super helpful and friendly. We even received show bags for the kids, which were a big hit! They had some fun little toys in them, which was a really nice touch. We had adjoining rooms. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable! Really nicely appointed. A few dusty surfaces but nothing really bothersome. The mini bar prices are very reasonable. The pool is gorgeous and clean, and pool towels are provided(which is wonderful, that way you’re not using the bath towels from your room). The ground floor layout is great. A bar where you can sit(and has happy hour!), there’s a kids play area near the pool table which entertained everyone. Such a good communal area, chill vibes and welcoming. We had dinner at the restaurant. Great selection(my son and I are vegetarian and my husband loves steak), there was something for everyone. We got a late check out so we could have a swim before we left. Breaky was ok. Standard buffet. I liked how they had essential things and snacks for sale near the reception too. Very handy. We will definitely be back! Thanks guys.

We managed to get the New Year's special which included full buffet breakfast for the 4 of us for $117 per night. There is also a full sized pool table, outdoor table tennis table and an retro arcade games table all provided for free use by guests. Bright, funky interior and a nice sized pool made it the place to be on the muggy summer afternoons. We also enjoyed the members discount on Food and Beverage. Food was reasonably priced and my kids loved the ham and pineapple pizzette from the bar snack menu and we enjoyed the fruity cocktail special. The hotel is conveniently located off the M4 and very well insulated from the outside noise but we could hear some of the noise from the next room but it wasn't overly noticeable. Rooms are tight but comfortable. Our kids shared a fold out sofa bed which we folded up the foot end when not in use to make it easier to move around. The room also had a large, comfortable, king size bed. Very family friendly and we would certainly recommend it for location and price, especially if you can pick up a special.

Hotel has a very industrial theme, staff when checking in were friendly. Room looked tidy and inviting (few cleanliness issues so if this is important give the room a quick once over, however our all issues were resolved satisfactorily). Staff were happy to bring extra towels and coffees and milk. Night staff extremely nice and accommodating. The bathroom and room are very indusive of romance. Makes you want to have fun with the one you love. Very romantic environment in the room. If you are spending all your stay in the room, perfect. The pool is in a weird position right next to restaurant and bar area but also near kids area and almost all in the one small space. Would feel weird with families eating watching you in the pool or on deck. Not a very adult environment. Food was good average cafe quality food not expensive. Drive in is 500ms away. That's romantic too. Day staff patient and friendly although I think they have them running food service and front desk.. GM is professional and accommodating... We had a Great nite away

I never had a issue with them up until one of there maids walked in whilst I had a do not disturb sign up. I complain to management about her walking in without permission. The maid then lied to them and said I had it facing the room service side. Which is a complete load of bull because I had it on do not disturb from the second I walked into the room . No ther person had a issue with it . Every time I called room service they all respected the sign apart from this one maid . Then they tried turning it all on me saying I’m smoking pot in there. I told them they can come in and inspect n that I didn’t smoke pot in there I’d be one idiot to do it at a place with no windows. Fire brigades will be there within minutes . I told them 100% I smoke in the car but not in the room . Then after they had just extended my stay earlier that morning for another three nights they told me I had to leave . So I just left but I thought that ppl should just know about how I was treated

This would be the best place I've ever stayed at! The staff that work at this hotel are a credit to their employer. The service here is top notch. From lovely Rebecca at the reception desk,to the young man with the beard and tattoos on the bar, and the lovely Asian lady in the restaurant ....all the staff get five stars for their friendliness, being so approachable, and helpful. The chef is also a huge credit to this hotel. The food was delicious .The vibe at this place is incredibly positive and welcoming. The rooms were just so comfortable and clean. The ambience was perfect. I could not fault this hotel in any way. I got this romantic getaway including drive in tickets for my partner and he was so impressed. It was an absolute pleasure staying there:) Thank you so much for making our one nights stay so lovely. We will definitely be recommending this to our friends and coming back to stay again. It was awesome:)

I went there for a birthday party and it looks so gorgeous. The bar, the celebration rooms, AND EVEN THE TOILET!! I feel like I could live there forever. The drinks seem reasonably priced, and the food they gave was absolutely amazing. I could've ate my life away if I wasn't dead DRUNK. This place has such cute areas to take photos in as well, the pool and car in the day. The bar at night. Let me quickly just tell you about the bar. It's a small serving area but the seats are abundant, you can never run out of seating there. The bar looks so aesthetically pleasing at night and all you ever want to do is take photos there. Service is amazing and I commend every single person who works there because it's truly such an amazing place. If I could leave my current job to work there, I would because the environment looks so amazing. 99/10 stars. Would go again. ❤️❤️❤️

Rooms are clean and serviceable. Staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was ok. There weren't a lot of people eating but the bacon and sausage were stacked high so sitting under the lights for a while. My biggest disappointment is the no cash policy. Would have had dinner and drinks here but no cash policy means I take my business elsewhere. I understand why some companies don't want to handle cash but it affects the customer experience in a negative way. There was 2 other couples at breakfast we started talking to who were also put out by the no cash policy. I'm sure it's costing you business as there wasn't many people there but 3 couples won't come back while this policy is being implemented. Hope this feedback helps.

We had all our family together and spent 3 days here for Christmas. Debbie & The Team were BEYOND amazing. They met every request above & beyond and always with a smile! Their team also went out of their way to re-arraged a room for my disabled mother in law it was really special to us as it meant she could be with us for Christmas too, not many hotels would go to this level of effort as they did, they really are an incredible team. The facilities are great especially for families, everyone will be entertained. We are off to Albury Atura, we hope it is just as amazing . We will be back!!

Fun retro roadhouse aesthetic/theme throughout the hotel. Unique lobby and rooms which use interesting wallpapers, mock cement carpets, comfy furniture to create a lively vibe. Rooms have a decent amount of space, but are not huge. Mattress was one of the best. Bathroom looked great (awesome tiling and nice wallpaper) but water pressure was a bit lacking. Staff were professional but not particularly welcoming. Room service was expensive but good (ordered a steak and chips). Breakfast buffet is standard hotel breakfast (so pretty bland and expensive). Would go back for sure but avoid the breakfast next time.

  • Jeroen.J.C. Veldkamp

Cleaning seems to be invented there, rooms not clean and prints on the curtains seems to contain spores of male DNA. Tables in restaurant always sticky. Items not refilled. Toasters not working. Coffee machine out of order. Breakfast during weekends.... 7:00 - 09:30 and kicked out restaurant at 09:31. No warning that breakfast is included in package or not and they charge you for... 30 kiwi dollars for a lousy brakfast when not. Scrambled eggs looked like porridge. Not capable of sending me a correct bill. Once and never again. Stayed 7 days...

Location was just down the road from a christening party we attended. Rooms were very clean and receptionist was very friendly! Pool looked lovely- but didn't use as it is winter. Hubby played pool with my 5 yo son in the morning before check out which he loved. He loved the old school car out the front! Rooms weren't the most well lit but good enough. Pillows were harder than usual and higher than usual- which suited me perfectly!!! Bed was very comfortable!!

We did an overnight stay - really enjoyed the retro theme in the nicely renovated rooms which are accurately portrayed on the website. Check in and service was top notch - the pool and restaurant downstairs had a great vibe. Excellent historical pub next door which is almost worth a holiday in itself. There’s also a quirky drive-in and trash and treasure market next door on Sunday mornings which is a real eye-opener - so many things falling off the back of trucks in Western Sydney, cash only! The beds were really soft and sinky - not fully comfortable but this could be a personal preference

  • double_ yammy

The rooms are really good! Beds are super comfy! Has a few activities like pool, old retro arcade game, connect 4, and my favourite, ping pong Staff are really nice! Will definitely be coming back! The TV's in the rooms have free movies. The only downsides from our stay was: There was a Christmas party on, meaning the restaurant was closed so could only get food from the pub, and the food there wasn't the best. Our breakfast in the morning was cold, but it was still a good feed! The coffee is amazing too

I am a regular visitor to the facility and it is of a high standard. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and provides all the facilities required. Breakfast variety is great and parking is good. The only issue we had was ringing for room service on Sunday night around 8pm when nobody answered the phone call. Had to go to reception to make an order. Generally, a nice place to stay.

A bit of a weird one... two staff bickering at the counter as I try to check in, thinking their argument is more important than getting me to my room. Photo attached is apparently my room with a garden view - just missing the actual garden I guess. Room is certainly sufficient for a night. Big bed might be the only redeeming feature of the room.

Ordered a diner at 8.30pm at 9 still had not received it. 9.15 got my meal this is not usual however this is about honest reviews. No USB charge points in the rooms. Beds are 6 out 10 for comfort. Rooms are well decorated again the mini bar option is outdated and the fridges are chill only. I have moved from staying at a competitor to this one. I really like atmosphere and vibe of the place.

A nice place in a convenient location. Added bonus of drive-in cinemas right next door. Hotel is modern and has a friendly environment from the front desk and staff members. Breakfast range is a lot and the one's ordered were good quality and quantity. Room was just right, clean and bed comfortable, only issue was that the room became stuffy and there's no window to open and no temperature controls. It's right off the M4 and easy to get to.

Much much better than expected to be honest. Clean, large rooms, buffet breakfast, large pool. This place ticked all the boxes if wanting to explore western Sydney / blue mountains. Sydney Motorsport Park. Raging Waters. Sydney zoo. Featherdale wildlife Park. Blue Mountains. Skyline Drive in. Blacktown markets. Just to name a few spots. We will definitely be staying again.

Held my daughters 1st birthday party here outside by the pool deck for lunch and swim last weekend. Couldn't have asked for a better place to host it at. Guest went home satisfied with the rooms, location, space, parking, pool and especially the food. Def a weekend to remember and a good memory to share with my daughter when she grows up. Staff and event coordinator were super helpful and kind. Thanks Atura

Beautiful hotel, with good staff, room was perfect, ambience of hotel is awesome, i just wish they could have a early check in time, 2 pm is very late for someone like us who were travelling from far away.. n if someone is booking for 2 nights 3 days,, it is not even 3 days when check in is at 2 pm and check out at 11 am.. could be best stay if they have check in around noon as well.

Friendly staff that served tasty food at a birthday function. Facility may consider enhancing CCTV system to cover kerbside parking outside the facility. My vehicle got keyed while parked kerbside for 3.5 hours. Great facility internally, but located at a place where dodgy people keying vehicles frequent. Extra caution by visitors warranted.

Nice place. Very clean and modern. Staff are great and very friendly. Not much in the way of a Dinner menu and there isn't much around so plan accordingly to travel for dinner. If you like Thai, try Thai 11, Google it. Be sure to ask for a room at the back, the front rooms are lit up the daylight because of the lights on the front of the building.

Amazing experience! Great customer service and love the food and bar. The cocktails are so yummy! The rooms have a great vibe and the bed is so comfortable. Affordable and will be back! The only thing I could say to improve on would be the shower heads/water pressure. It was super hard and I think a change of shower head could easily fix it.

Even though the rooms looked basic, the beds were very comfortable, and we couldn't hear any noise from the foyer or surrounding rooms. We'll definitely be back soon!

Quirky retro hotel with industrial features. Different vibe between laid back youth hostel and boutique. Friendly staff, good bar, great buffet restaurant. Awful view, dark corridors and not the comfortable bed I’d wished for (very soft and two singles pushed together) but worth 4 stars for facilities

The staff were super friendly & helpful. The room was great! Huge amount of space, king bed & very comfortable. It’s all pretty funky and fun. Food was good - had the fried chicken entree. Only half negative is the shower rose is small and throws our water in about a 20cm area. No biggie though

Currently staying here for work if I was paying I would have left. Moldy showers and dirty room. Only meet two staff members that show care or attention to there job. Food average at best if you even get you order without asking why it takes 40 mins to cook a Parma. Would not recommended. More

Service was fantastic. The room was really nice, but it would be great if the window could open as it gets claustrophobic and the aircon gets cold. We were very impressed with the in room entertainment with the new movies. The location is

The room was very comfortable and almost soundproof - other than Christmas party noise that leaked in through the door but it wasn't too bad. Nice touches in the room, everything we needed in the bathroom (the same toiletries I found on a

Good news first. The staff were excellent and courteous and the service great. I loved the main area with dining, bar and play area. Great place to hang out. The pool area looked great too though it was too cold to use at my stay.

It was all very nice, but the bed had a bad spring and wasn't made. The food was WAY more overpriced than usual, but the service people were very friendly.
