Asalamualikum. I have been going there for over 10 years and I love it each and every time I visit this masjid,even though I live very faar I would like to go on weekends for the good vibes.but now ther are so many people visiting the place Managment has to do some changes to accommodate more people,like renovations/ maintain cleanliness throughout the masjid and also please put some clear direction/sign for women prayer room downstairs.

To all Muslims, I come here every Friday for Friday prayer, I have a suggestion as most of the people are coming from their works and offices if possible “if the Khutbah Tableegh and announcement part of Friday prayer should be done before 2:00 PM/1:00 PM (in different season) and start the Jummah prayer exactly at 2:00 PM/1:00 PM would be great. Jazak’Allah

The drivers are extremely rude at this mosque. I’ve had cab drivers finger me in the back alley while they search for parking. They’ve also been very aggressive when you’re walking in the alley way speeding past you not sharing the roadway. I’m surprised they don’t also practice what they preach outside their place of worship.

I came here as a traveler thinking I’m about to have the best experience. there were NO accommodations for women, I was asked to move TWICE… I ended up having to pray in THE KITCHEN on a DIRTY HARD FLOOR. Oppression at its finest! Thanks patriarchy for not thinking of us women at all!

Been coming here for 6 Years. Only comment is that during jumaa khutba he gives the mic to a bunch of local politicians that ask you to vote for them and tell us about their campaigns. We come to pray to god, leave politics after salaah, please.

Very good Masjid. Open for all community members. I had the privilege to stay here for few days. Great volunteers running the Ifthar activities. Taraweh were well arranged as well. given the location parking might be a challenge.

Juma khutba starts from around 1:55 pm nowadays and i have to say this mosque is very socially active for every religion. Nice atmosphere inside and outside of the mosque and you can learn a lot from this place.

Al Masjid Al Jamia in Vancouver is a wonderful hub for the Muslim community. With activities for kids and ladies, it fosters unity and togetherness. May Allah bless its founders and members for their efforts!

Big, good and clean masjid that is not too far from train and bus station. This masjid is able to carry more than 500 people. The parking lot is not easy to find but the facility at the masjid is very good.

Good masjid. Open alot of the times so very easy to go inside to pray when I'm on the go. Been here for a long time so definitely a go to place if you're around broadway city hall

Pretty close to downtown. When I came here, I couldn’t find the women’s section or maybe it’s locked downstairs? I wish there’s a sign that indicates where the women section is.

Have been enjoying coming here every Maghrib since I arrived in Vancouver. It’s not insanely large but not quite small either. The location is nice for anyone living downtown.

That so bad brother’s don’t say it’s 24 open and it’s not open. Why are you close it? If you want to have the key somewhere the brother’s know it. Please think a little.

Good masjid but plenty of improvements needed in terms of cleaning. Bathrooms, ablution areas, and most importantly the shoe rack areas are always very dirty.

Hello! So Juma prayer is at 1pm during winter times, starting with the daylight saving arrangement on march 12, Juma will be on 2pm. Hope it will be helpful

I did my first prayer (Maghreb Salaat) in this Mosque on 15th of Ramadan 2012. The oldest Mosque in Vancouver a lots of nice Muslims. Al-hamdulellaah

Amazing mosque. The brothers/volunteers for Ramadan go above and beyond to provide excellent iftars to students and whoever shows up to the mosque!

Very well organized & best thing is they care the neighbourhood always reminding peoples to park appropriately & do not block the way.

A real look of the mosque. Very nice and spacious hall. After Jumaa Prayer, 10 $ Muttom biryani is nice and reasonable price.

Best place for offering prayer in Vancouver area. Especially for juma prayer. Imam gives a heart warming sermon on Friday.

I love it, I came from Alberta Edson for visit Vancouver for few days and I love this Musjid Alhumdulilla.

Ifter arrangement was there which was really good especially people like me who are on the way to home.
