Imagine the best Islamic education for your kids. Academics, Akhlaaq, Hifdth, General Knowledge and all around growth. SubhaanAllah,  AHES is everything you could dream of times 10. My children have show amazing academic development with astounding Islamic Knowledge for their ages. They effortlessly memorize vast number of Surahs while keeping up with Ontario education. They learn a tenet of Islam monthly, whose theme is tied to various activities, ending with family quiz night! And most importantly, wake up happy to go to school every morning. The best part? Tarbiyah. I recently volunteered at school and was floored to see how kindly each child was treated. The kids too were naturally respectful to the staff and volunteers. The principal's office is always open to hear grievances of the parents and the admin is always exceeding helpful. This school brings a hadeeth of our Prophet (saw) to mind: "He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young ones and esteem to our elderly. (At-Tirmidhi and Ahmad; authenticated by Al-Albani)."

If your child is "well educated" and does not need teaching i.e. self learner then this is the right school for him/ her. The building of this school is fantastic (if this is what matters to you) but the experience we had with (grade 1 teacher) was not impressive at all. The school does not seem to have a well structured system to monitor teaching skills of teachers. The school needs some years to reach that level, in my opinion. The teacher lied more than once to appear good in front of the management. The teacher had concrete thinking and lacked basic skills in dealing with children starting school. We had a rough ride at this school. The school needs higher monitoring system to evaluate staff and management performance. To sum it up I would say : "All that glitters is not gold".

I went to Al Huda four years ago, and it is safe to say that it is a . . . decent school. Al Huda had a great environment as most of the students were very kind. I had seen that most of the teachers in that school wouldn't really care about their students (they aren't even certified teachers), and I think that I was lucky in third grade to have good teachers. My friend from fourth grade also went there, and he said he hated that school. The principal wasn't very great (the new principal is better, from what I have heard), but when the new principal joined all the good teachers were removed from the school and replaced with more uncertified and rude teachers. I eventually left this school at the end of third grade as I had moved away from the area.

The administration has always made things complicated for us. unfortunately once your payment is processsed, they will make it so difficult for you to communicate your requests/needs with school. my daughter started last year with Alhuda, the academics were not up to the mark either. Very disappointed with how they brush parents off without accomodating their needs. PLEASE WORK ON THE ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS.

I honestly lived in different countries and my kids changed many schools, In al Huda elementary I have seen the best teachers in grade 6 and 8, especially, grade 8 the homeroom and Math teacher is such a blessing who has prepared them for high school with full power. We faced some difficulties like any other school, but I am signing up my younger kids for next year as well.

Exceptional elementary school for children. The staff and teachers are very professional and kind. I find that this school pushes the bar in terms of advancing the student's development, without burdening them with homework and assignments. Also, I love the transparency they have with the frequent communication to parents and the use of Google Classroom.

We moved and had to remove our son from this school. You only know the value of something once you lose it. I want to take this opportunity to thank Ms. Saima and Ms. Mehr for the amazing effort they showed our son. Jazakallah. May Allah bless you both for all your hard work. This Islamic school is a hidden gem.

I am very happy and  satisfied that my kids are studying here . I have 4 children at Al-huda since 2016 One of the best islamic  school  in Ontario.  Hifdh program  excellent,  the teachers are over qualified. Alhamdullillah  a good islamic environment  to help the kids succeed.

This is an average Muslim school. In term of teaching Islamic manners, they are good. But in term of day to day manners, they are not good. The quality of teaching is poor. They have no standards of hiring teaching staff. They need to improve their standards.

My son is a garde 2 student at this school. These are his words: "The teachers are very kind and listen to what I say. They teach Arabic, Quran and Islamic Studies. The school is always very clean. The staff are also very nice."

  • Ghufran Ahmed

Good school that's close to my home. They seem pretty serious about maintaining standards. No apparent hooliganism from what I've seen as compared to other places. The principal and front office staff are friendly and helpful.
