I can’t speak highly enough about AC Automotive! My vehicle was hit on my passenger side, leaving a huge dent, cracks in my back wheel well, and scratches all over the vehicle. I took it in to the shop to have it looked at on recommendation from a friend, and Chris and Brandon told me the options I had, how long it would take, and about how much it would all cost. Chris called me before doing anything to the vehicle, explained what the guys needed to do, and made sure I fully understood what was going to be done. They also had all the work completed exactly when they said it would be done, which was a huge relief for me. They fixed the dent, the wheel well, and painted the vehicle; it truly looks like nothing even happened in the first place! They also went above and beyond for me; Brandon went so far as to paint over another scratch on the passenger door handle, free of charge. Everything cost exactly as much as their estimate, so there were no surprise charges. I’m truly grateful for everyone at the shop who fixed up my vehicle, it looks as good as it did when I first bought it! I would absolutely recommend their services to a friend or family member, and I will definitely return to them if need be!

This is why AC Automotive is a 5-Star shop. Providing good service when everything goes as planned is easy, it's when things don't go as planned that the true quality of service can be seen. That one percent of the time when you can really see who stands by their work and lives up to their reputation. This gives the customer a sense of comfort and security, and this is AC Automotive. Without going into too much details, I brought my truck in for a front end diagnosis after they were recommended to me. They checked it out, replaced a part, and I had my truck back. A few days later I heard a similar sound again. They found the main issue but there was another problem hiding away that only occurred in rare situations. After calling them back their reaction was pure professionalism. I brought my truck back in for further diagnosis, I was given a loner car for the day, and they found the secondary problem and fixed it right away. I highly recommend this shop.

I brought my 2009 Corvette to this garage for a safety. I handed over my keys and assumed that it would be brought in. After about 5 minutes, I looked outside and my Corvette was gone. I looked in the garage and it was not there. After questioning the male at the desk as to the wherabouts of my car, he said that it was standard to take it for a test drive prior to the safety. I advised him that I just had my other vehicle safetied and they did not test drive it. The male (I assume the owner) shrugged his shoulders. After about 10 minutes later, a young guy returned my Corvette. This goes to show you can't trust any garage. Had they asked to test drive it, I would have went along. For the record, I called three other garages in the Ottawa area and each garage said that they did not test drive the car. I will not return to this garage.

Very nice, very helpful. Excellent mechanics for best pricing you'll find in Ottawa: No upfront fees for diagnostics, no hidden shop supply fees, no hidden environmental/disposal taxes, no costs until car owner agrees to the work, super timely work, regular work updates and know the customers by name and car. They offer options and alternatives for parts and repairs and make sure they get you the best price. Although there isn't much they can't do, they are not afraid to recommend better options for work that they don't specialize in (e.g. car-specific pattented software issues, body work, weather rust proofing). I enjoy dealing with both co-owners. Because of these hey are my main go-to shop for all my 3 cars and have been for 8 years to this day.

Marc totally took advantage of me because I am a girl. I went in twice and the first time I noticed that the spring was missing from my hood. He said "Oh you can get one from a junkyard". and the second time I went in, all my lights on my dash came up and he said that's normal. He checked the battery with a meter and told me everything is fine. It didn't happen when I came in so it must not be fine... Terrible service.

What a great experience! I went in with a free oil change voucher and also needed an alignment done with my new rims/tires put on. They were very honest and didn’t try to take me for any unnecessary work. The work that did need to be done was at a very fair price. Good communication throughout the process. I live far, but work close to their location and will make a point to go out of my way to try and return here.

Had a scary issue on the highway with engine and they fixed it ten minutes. Stupidly affordable. Whilst there they sorted me a quote on my tires and season storage for a feww 00 less than everywhere else. Nice, helpful and explained everything so i could understand it. Recommend to everyone even though i live in the east end. Worth every km

These guys are amazing! I generally do my own work, however, when I get stumped and can't determine what the issue is I bring it to these guys. Brought my Jeep in to get wheels balanced and an alignment, not only did they get me in same day, but did a great job. I've been to other garages before where they messed up the balance on the wheels. Not only was it cheaper at AC auto, but they also did a superb job. Will definitely be back.

So far only good things to say. They've done work on my ac, and my exhaust system. Both times was cheaper than I had expected (also WAY cheaper than an estimate I had from Canadian tire. They're friendly, efficient and on the cheap side! Definitely staying with them.
