It is 11:00 on Saturday 17/07/2021 I have booked a spot for my son's bike to get service. So far took me 45 minutes in the line... and people getting in slowly. I dropped 5-star review for this centre initially but the thing made me disappointed today is, the customer service. Is a windy and cold day and people making line in front of centre cause of Covid which is understandable. Giving 5-star review is easy in normal situation but the good customer service would show itself in tough days. Why they don't use BUZZER to respect their customers and ask them stay in cars instead of queue without social distancing in front of centre and/or in windy/rainy days. Everywhere do like this. So I have changed it to 1 star. I saw couple of old people and kids in the queue in wind. Totally disappointing... I know somebody from 99bike would apologise and they would not change the way of customer service cause they think about money only... (sorry to say). As a local guide in Hills District, I hope they change the way soon and would definitely change my review to 5-star. My initial review: (5 star) Got this beautiful bike for my son, he is so happy. Regarding the shop, the staff are nice and helpful. They explained all my questions with patience. There is $5 option to have membership lifetime. Would come back to get another bike and services as well. Would highly recommend this bike shop to Hills people. The price was expensive compared with Kmart or Target, but for heaps better quality.

10/9/21 Nothing has changed. I placed an order for my daughter's bike on 29 August for click and collect and I don't hear anything from them about estimated available date. About a week after, I checked the website and the same bike is available for collection within 1~3 days. I called the store and the staff says "did you get a message?" I said no, then he says "you should wait for the message." I asked when it will be ready and why it says it's available online, he says we're extremely busy and hung up. I wait another 3 days and still no message. I contacted headquarters and asked for update. Bek couldn't assist and she said she contacted the store but no response received and tells me to contact the store directly. I sent an email to the store and they never respond. Finally today, I got a message to pick up the bike and there's 20 people waiting in line at 2pm. One of the staff comes out and says it's going to be more than an hour wait and now I've been waiting for an hour. How could they be so inefficient? These are just click and collect and they take 20 minutes per person. It's like the staff are moving in slow motion and they have absolutely no sense at all and inconsiderate to people waiting. I understand they may be short staffed and busy but why does it take 20 minutes for a staff to check the order go in and pick up a small box and come back? Absolutely ridiculous. It appears they have no intention of changing and blames the lockdown.

Recently updated: A tale of 2 experiences, I visited the Castle Hill store on Saturday and I could not of had a more professional experience. This prompted me to return on the Thursday with my wife with the intention of spend over $5000 on ebikes. The poor kid who "assisted" us could not tell a regular bike from an ebike and when I showed him a photo of the bike I wanted in an XL frame, spent the next 10 minutes searching the computer to tell me "a medium" bike was not in stock!!!(?) I don't blame him, he should never of been on the shop floor in the first place and obviously the training at this branch leaves a lot to be desired. I walked out after feeling we didn't matter as customers, which was the exact opposite of my first experience, so lift your game 99 bikes and I will look for my bikes at a store that will offer me a level of service all customers should receive. The store did follow up on my feedback and apologised, which gets them another star! Follow Up: I ended up visiting the Parramatta store and I could not have had a better experience!!! Idris provided outstanding service and my wife and I walked away very happy having purchased 2 ebikes.

i have been a couple of times in the last month for 2 different Giant bikes, first visit and repairs was good overall, second visit with a second bike was ok until I got it home and discovered it hadnt been test ridden and there were 2 issues on 2 different components that would have been picked up in the first 10 meters being on the bike. I seriously question any mechanic from any field when doing some major repairs and not test riding the vehicle/bike is very disappointing to me. not only does it mean i have 2 waste another 2 hours of my day bringing the bike back it simply means I will go elsewhere. this also happened on a third bike I brought in a couple of months prior and the same thing, bike wasnt test ridden and the bike was unrideable from the very repair they supposedly did. very poor and I implore the owners to seriously review this procedure. I have other issues re some of the charges that should be inclusive as part of their $169 service. NOT HAPPY!

We bought a Root Industries Invictus Scooter online from 99 Bikes. Upon arrival there is an issue which we have identified with the handlebar not locking properly with the fork. This is brand new btw. Rang the Castle Hill store to see if they could take a look and the guy refused point blank and said they are a bike store and told us to go to a specialist scooter store. Imagine being so brain dead to give this advice, knowing that we will never spend another cent in this store, one in which we have bought 3 bikes in the last 12 months because you are so lazy to spend 2 minutes helping a customer. Zero customer services skills whatsoever. I contacted 99bikes online with the issue and their advice was, yes you guessed it, take it to one of their stores to look at. You can be sure that I made them aware of the response I got from the Castle Hill store. It can take years to build a reputation and minutes to destroy it. Will not spend another cent with this store

A team member was helping me pick some new bike lights and after he helpd me out I explained to him that I got charged more then what was indicated on the price tag the last time I was in. He said sometimes that happens when there is a deal on. He didn't seem like he was going to apply the difference. I mentioned that I'm pretty sure its law that you have to charge what is on the tag provided. At this point two other team members say no its not and one of them continues to say the price is, what it states on the computer. Now the real problem I have here is both of their tone. It wasn't stated in a friendly manner and came across very abrubt, almost scoffing at my comment. The ACCC website clearly indicates a business must display clear and accurate prices and to charge the lowest price if two have been provided. Two prices had not been provided only the one on the box, as I cannot see what numbers you are charging me until I recieve my online receipt.

Went to this store to look into purchasing a mountain bike for my sons birthday, was helped greatly by a wonderful sales man - Charles who answered all our questions. we selected the bike paid for it in full & arranged to collect the bike 6 days later as the bike needed to be assembled, my partner arrived to collect the bike on the selected day to be advised the bike was not assembled & would need to come back no time advised just we will get a text when it was ready, called the store to speak to Charles to see what has happened, comes back apologies advises the bike will be ready by 1pm. ok great. receive a call at 12.45pm to advise they now cant located the bike & unsure what has happened. after a few calls back & forth it has been pretty much established they had sold the bike I paid for in full to someone else. so unprofessional & unacceptable.

I am writing this review because I am hoping it will trigger some one to answer the phone at the castle hill store. It has been 2 weeks since I have put my click and collect order through and I am still waiting for it. The worst part is we are totally in the dark and have had no communication from the store as to the status of the order. Multiple phone calls only to be cut off after couple of minutes ---- why bother having a phone number ? I have exhausted all avenues of contacting this store and my daughter is eagerly waiting her much anticipated new bike. Everyone is busy and have various challenges during these times- but it does not give a license to keep customers in the dark without any updates !!! I hope some one from 99 bikes castle hill takes the time to read this review and pick up the phone or read their emails !!!

My son’s bike had small issue with gear assembly and had to book his first free service which was delayed due to COVID. I went to this Castle Hill store and I had bad experience. I went to reception they asked me to talk to service desk and when I went there they asked me to check with reception, nobody was willing to talk at first attempt . Finally reception guy took me to service desk but that guy was not willing to have a look at the problem and said we might have to replace it and need to book for it. Secondly he was not willing to give first free service and for paid I have to wait for a month. Such a waste of time dealing with these guys. I took the bike to Paramatta store and they had a look at gear assembly and fixed it in 5min and booked in for free service in 10days. I highly recommend paramatta store.

Was an up and down experience Always room to improve on certain things. Product is fantastic, my partner and I love the bikes. Process of purchase was a little rocky with lack of information given by the sales man. Stating no stock of one of the bikes yet there was on in the build centre. Either lack of understanding or time to check for us ? Once norm had gotten involved over the phone he had brought my intentions back for sale. Stating the bike I wanted was in fact on site, one trip turned into 4. Main point of disappointment was waiting a week for the wrong bike to be delivered on hand over and not a lot of answers given as to why this happened other than I’m not sure. A $50 discount when an hour and a half in store doesn’t really smooth things out. Staff communication and information can be improved.

I visited 99Bikes store @Castle hill today to shop around and purchase bicycles for my kids. Being a noob in bicycles i didn't know what to ask and how to choose a right quality bike for my kids in my budget. Dave has been exceptional in assisting us choosing the right bike and the reason why we waked out buying two bikes for my kids happy as. I always had reservations visiting an exclusive bike shop as opposed to going to a departmental store thinking it would be an expensive exercise but the myth got demystified with the help of Dave. He was friendly, approachable, took time to help us choose the right bike despite shop being very busy being sunday arvo. Mate, you are an asset to the store and heartfelt thanks for all your help. Highly recommended.

  • Steph Burrows

I originally visited the store to buy just myself a new bike, but with the amazing service from Matthew, we decided to get all new bikes for the whole family! Matthew took the time to understand each of our individual needs and styles and matched us with the perfect bikes to suit. Matthew's approach was genuine and caring as he explained to us the different options and features. He was never pushy, like some salespeople can be, and ensured we felt comfortable and fully satisfied with our final selections. With our young family, we will be needing new bikes again in the coming years and there is no doubt as to where I will be visiting and which salesperson I will be seeing. Thank you, Matthew, for your outstanding service and great conversation!

After experiencing great customer service in Dee Why and by the ladies in the Castle Hill shop downstairs, I was left shocked and genuinely concerned about the management of the service shop upstairs in Castle Hill. The manager (I think his name was Gerald) had no skill of human interaction let alone customer service, and certainly should not be in a management role, let alone dealing with customers. After bragging about revenue made during COVID-19 (4 times their Christmas revenue!!!), Gerald was prepared to charge me more than double what the gents at Dee Why had charged for a previous repair on the same thing (although I have only had this bike for 6 weeks). Do yourself a favour and don’t even bother visiting the service shop here...

  • Paul Regis

I bought a child's bike here about a year ago. Sometimes I leave reviews until later, and then I can comment on how things have been over the long term. While the service to buy the bike was fine, they let us ride the bikes around the car park and so on. Yet I am not happy with the quality of the bike sold. It seems to have lasted poorly, and now it requires much tinkering to keep it running. The chain keeps coming off, and it looks like the frame geometry is out. There haven't been any accidents, it hasn't been mistreated. Not consistent with a bike costing $400. In my experience, what I have world be more consistent with a model costing half that. When I buy our next bike in the family, I will not go to this shop.

After looking online I found the bike I wanted to buy my 4 year old boy. We decided to go into the store and purchase the bike. On arrival into the shop we were not greeted or even acknowledged, after waiting for 15 minutes I approached two separate sales staff and requested assistance to which I was told they would be with me after they finish what they were doing. (Meanwhile other customers who walked in the shop after me are being served) 25 minutes in the store and no service I decided to leave. I went to another local bike shop and bought him a bike, while the price was higher at the other shop the service was worlds apart. Pros - good website, good range of bikes, price Cons - customer service

I bought 2 Merida bikes last Dec, one for kid, and one adult bike as Christmas gift. I paid $840 as club price, kid’s bike was charged $413. I didn’t pay attention to the price as I trusted them. However, after 4-5 months I found the kids Merida bike was only $260! but I was charged full price without club discount applied. I called the shop twice but they refused to refund, they said it’s long time ago and the price had changed. This is nonsense! You could check the invoice of the bike that you sold to other customer during that period as it’s the most popular kid bike! I am so disappointed of the customer service, they charged the wrong price and refused to refund! Please feel free to discuss!

  • Abhishek Kishore

They're not big on responding to emails and phone calls, for some reason. I paid the advance on a bike on 3rd September, and was told on 17th that it had arrived and awaiting assembly. Another week later, I sent a mail, made calls. No response. After getting the customer service guys involved, got a terse response saying bike's ready, and they'd been trying to get in touch with me. I had received precisely zero emails, missed calls, messages or voice mails from the Castle Hill store since the last update on 17th. How they were trying to get in touch is a bit of a mystery to me. Not happy. Update: I've had good subsequent interactions with them, so updating my review.

  • Luke gratland

I have been to this bike shop now on two occasions. I should of learnt from my first experience and not returned as the staff member I dealt with was extremely rude and wasn't interested in what I had to say in relation to sizing of the bike which has now left my daughter with a bike which is way too large for her that she doesn't want to ride. I returned for a second time and now can confirm the service I received on the first occasion must be their default as again the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful to the point where I felt I was an inconvenience to them. I won't be returning anytime soon and will be sure to share my poor experience.

I visited 99 Bikes Castle Hill today to inquire about purchasing a bike for myself (age 74). I was attended to by a lovely, kind and patient salesperson (David) who was not only vastly knowledgeable, but also proferred useful advice and guidance in helping me arrive at a decision. He also suggested an e-bike considering my age. At no time did he pressure me into making a purchase. He provided me with a written quote for the two types of bikes and advised me to think carefully about the choice I make. It was a real pleasure talking to David who, in this day and age of impatient and greedy salespersons, stands out as a beacon. Many thanks

  • Max Powell

Avoid at all costs, this is one of the worst bike shops I have been to in regard to both sales and service (but especially service!). Service team has no idea what they are doing, or are being intentionally malicious and will milk you of as much money as possible while breaking as much stuff on your bike as possible. They returned an unfixed bike while saying it was perfect and ready to ride which could potentially have been very dangerous. Took it elsewhere and will never go back. Really, can't believe this place is still in business and feel sorry for anyone who goes in unsuspecting and has to learn the hard way.

I rarely write reviews but I had to write one regarding my purchase and service at 99 bikes Castle Hill. Had to wait a bit due to customer demand, being a weekend, plus a sale on, however once my partner and I were attended to by Charles it was awesome. Nothing was a drama. Any question was answered or any issues raised was sorted. I really cannot praise Charles service enough. From Setting the bike up and how to dismantle it and maintain it. Recommending different helmets, pegs and tubeless setup info. It was awesome service. I will definitely be back for any future parts or items needed. Thank you!

  • Mariam Mukhtar

My Son's first ever bike with them and the bike is really good. My son is very happy and its the best price I could get for a very good bike. I am upset why didn't I come across them early, wasted a lot of money and time on wrong bikes. The sales person answered all our questions, was very friendly and would definitely recommend every one to them. A special thanks to their customer service on the web chat, who gave me so much information and answered all my questions also suggested I call them and order before saving me a lot time. Can't wait to get another one for my would be teenagers birthday :)

  • Peter Howie

Become a gold member and save heaps! During a recent purchase (last weekend) of two thorn resistant inner tubes I was made aware that my Gold Membership had lapsed. Joe, who was serving me, mentioned it was only $20 to get it going again and I immediately saved over $14 on the purchase. I've just been back and bought some tools and have already saved more than the Gold membership renewal fee. I appreciate Joe's knowledge of the membership system and his encouragement to immediately renew my membership. 99 Bikes reward loyalty to their brand - and I'm more than happy to participate!

  • Tina C

No idea how this store is getting such high ratings. The staff here are useless time wasters. We have taken bikes up to have a simple service and check to only get a call the next day saying they can’t work on it and to top it off 3 different staff all told us different things. We had to drag our bikes upstairs have it looked at by a team member who said yeh leave it we can sort it out. We get a call the next day saying they haven’t looked at it, can’t tell us what parts we need and tell us that they can’t work on it! Biggest idiots in the business! AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!

  • Daniel

This is a great shop! This the shop where I bought my dual suspension bike. I do ask a fair few questions to be quite honest, however these guys really know their stuff! I'm happy with customer service here. I would recommend anyone looking to get their bikes serviced or purchases to get it HERE. I've also had my fathers bike and family friends bike purchased here. Their payment options allows you to purchase bikes that really catch your eye the moment you walk into the shop. It's great to have bikes you can get off the shelf on the day tuned and adjusted to you.

Have had a lot of dealings with this store including buying two new bikes for our kids along with the accessories needed by an avid road cyclist. Our experience with Allie for our kids’ bikes was excellent with great advice and above and beyond service to source the right size. I’ve also had some experiences with Ashish which have also been above and beyond. Great product knowledge and excellent customer service from a guy who is clearly passionate about cycling! Even with the difficulties of COVID, I can’t say I’ve had a bad experience with 99Bikes Castle Hill.

  • Seth Butcher

Not a good customer experience. Waited over a week for a simple two-item click-and-collect transaction (for items listed in stock). No answer to a dozen phone calls or email. On collection, one of the items was an inferior substitution (even though the correct one was listed in stock). The other item (brake spare parts) turned out to be a mismatch of incompatible parts. Tried calling the store, but of course there was no answer. Ended up purchasing elsewhere online at 50% cheaper. The only thing they managed to do properly was take my money upfront.

  • Rebecca Eldridge

Walked in service was terrible. Did not even look at the bike. And the wait to sevice my son's bike is just appalling. Meanwhile 3 people standing behind the desk doing what......nothing! With music playing so LOUDLY! Found a place in Dural that have amazing customer service and same day repair/service. Do not even want to rate 1 star so I will give 0 stars. Bought the bike at this shop, when I just then dropped my son's bike into the repair man at Dural he said that the bike has not even been put together properly. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

  • Kripa Amour

I had spoken to Michael over the phone regarding a buzzing sound on my Aftershokz head phone I had purchased in 2020. Michael was very polite over the phone and asked me to bring the headphones to the store. He carried out the warranty for me and handled the whole process diligently. I was dreading the idea of being without my headphones, as the process of recovering your item takes more than just a few days. Michael completed the process efficiently and left me with a brand new pair of Aftershokz! Thank you again for your professionalism.

  • Menai Johnson

Fantastic customer service from Dave at 99 Bikes Castle Hill. Dave took the time to understand the wants/needs of the kids in their new bike purchases and encouraged them to try different models to find their perfect ones! Despite it being a very busy Sunday afternoon in store Dave certainly made time for us and the follow up customer service including accessories purchased the following day was second to none! Thanks Dave, the kids are thrilled with their bikes and the youngest says it is the best thing he has ever been given!

  • Damian Duran

They don't really have a click and collect system. Click and collect means you browse online, you pay online, you wait until they tell you the product is ready to be picked up... then you need to queue outside the shop for over 30 min to get your product. You basically need to wait for the staff to help all the non- click and collect orders before they can just grab the product you already purchased and paid. It's not that hard folks! Just look at what other businesses are doing... or maybe just use some common sense.

  • KSL International Archery

For the first time I had my nine year old Trek Emonda serviced at 99 Bikes Castle Hill. I dropped my bike off at 9.30 am and got an SMS 3 hours later that my bike was ready for pick up. I had booked it for a Standard+ service, but after a close inspection the bike mechanic recommended that a Standard serve would be sufficient, saving me $50. I was very happy with the service and would recommend 99 Bikes Castle Hill to all my bike friends as the staff is also very helpful and knowledgable.

  • David Zhang

First mountain bike for my son, he is really happy about it. We saw many happy customers around in the store I think they are good in business. Great staff very helpful. Answered all my questions with very detail information. It's the in store shopping experience you want, nobody want to drive hours to the store then read item description by themselves, right? If you want to talk to sale men to get more information then chose the right bike to your kid, this is the store you should come.

  • Sam Moore

Absolutely horrendous experience. All the service guys did was try and up sell me to a more expensive service. Then after I told them to do the original booking of a tune up they didn’t check a single bolt nor did they tune the gears or clean anything. The lack of check caused my gears to mail function and slip continuously and also caused my derailer to fall of getting caught in my cassette completely ripping it off and braking it Not a slight bit of recommendation for this place

  • Jim Miao

Called in today and tried to book a time for service, as my son's bike got a flat tyre, a male staff answered the phone and simply said "we dont have time to do it, in any time". It actually took me a few seconds to realise that he was talking to a customer. Yes you are getting much busier during this lockdown period, but thats not the excuse you can provide 0 star customer service. I would not go back to the store anymore and would not recommend you to any of my friends.

  • Lavina Pinto

I was in there with my husband and kids , needed to buy a bike for all of us.we waited at the lobby for a while to be served however we were looked at and ignored, so we decided to go help our selves to speed the buying process, we had an elderly rep appeoach u s telling us he is swrving 2 ppl and really busy, while the other rep was just strolling. The tone was rude and could be due to being over worked, however un called for. I will never visit this place again.

  • Jim Douglas

I would rate this store 0 stars if I could. Always excuses and a bad experience. I was told by a mechanic at this store my daughter had a flat tyre due to riding over a bindi. This was on a bike that had less than 30mins use from new. We have since had further issues with expensive bikes purchased from this store. I will now cut my losses and have these issues rectified elsewhere at my own cost. It’s a thumbs down from me 99 bikes! Your customers deserve better!!

  • Narasimha

Just bought a kid (Norco 21 Storm) and an adult bike (Silverback 22 Stride Sport). Must thank Joe from Sales, for being extremely helpful, patient, and guiding us through the process, and facilitating a good deal on the bikes and accessories. Appreciate the tips he gave to maintain the bikes. Very kind of him to help us load the bikes onto the car. We tested the bikes yesterday, and it was great going. All in all a good buy, great shopping and riding experience.

  • June Ong

I had my 2 young kids with me in the Castle Hill store today. It was a really busy time so I waited for a while. Lachlan came to my rescue and helped me with getting 2 adult bikes and all the accessories I needed. He was extremely professional, patient, informative and efficient in what he do. He helped set up the bike rack and put all the bikes on it. I was very impressed with my first experience at 99Bikes. Lachlan is definitely an asset to the business.

  • Rjja Leal

I have made two queries at 99 Bikes Castle Hill in one week in which both instances were actioned within half an hour each. I would like to commend this store with the way they attend to their customer’s needs in a very timely manner, exceeding expected response time. A thumbs up to both Chris and Phillip in handling my queries leading to my recent purchase of a Wahoo Kickr Snap indoor trainer and a gift voucher as a 99 club member.

  • Peter Robertson

If you want a bike, I'd totally encourage you to try 99 Bikes, however..... just not this store!!! I've been in to this store four times in three years and each time walked out with nothing but frustration (until recently I'd just thought my experience was the way 99 Bikes worked - apparently not). A tough pill for the Castle Hill team to swallow - customers can get FAR BETTER (read awesome) service at OTHER 99 Bikes stores.

  • A S

Special thanks to Leo! Was genuine and helpful from the moment we walked in the door. We took my son in to let him pick out a bike for his birthday. He happily let him test out a few in the shop, After picking one, leo showed him all the colours he could choose from on the computer. The bike had to be built for us and 40 mins later all done and off to the park! Thanks for making my little guy super happy on his birthday!

  • Emily Kate Byrne

Today I bought my first bike in a loooong time and I was so grateful to be assisted by David. He couldn’t do enough for me, and was so incredibly helpful. I know NOTHING about bikes and he was so generous with his knowledge - he found the right bike for me - great price and quality - and I’ve been riding it all afternoon with the wind in my hair!! Awesome shop, awesome product, awesome staff!! Thanks a million David!!

  • Chad Meltzer

Despite the hassles of only being allowed to have a capped amount of customers in the store at any one time and being constantly busy, the staff all displayed a positive and helpful attitude. Christopher was excellent. His knowledge of the bikes and stock levels was amazing. I walked away purchasing an ideal bike and happy after a great customer experience. Keep up the good work!

  • Peter Howie

Had a problem with my rear suspension and dropped into the store to see if someone could help me adjust it properly. Joe was really knowledgeable and helpful and sorted it all out in about 10 minutes. Joe mentioned he used to do heaps of mountain biking and knew lots about suspension. He was right - it rode like a completely different bike on the way home. Thanks Joe!

  • Robert Furno

Store was busy on a Saturday afternoon, however, I still got prompt service and there was sufficient stock in store to find a 24 inch bike for my kid. The store has a selection of quality brands and has plenty of spares and accessories within the store. I also signed up for the once off $5 membership, and got immediate discounts on all of the items that I purchased.

  • Lemmy Nga

Great service! Gerald was really helpful and gave really practical solutions with regards to upgrade of bikes components. And he was also trying to help me save some money by suggesting more cost effective solutions. Just what I needed to improve my riding experience! More recently, Paul has been really helpful with my project of rebuilding an old bike. Thumbs up!

  • Victoria Head

I just want to thank Brendan for his attentiveness when I took my bike in for a service on the weekend. He was exceptionally friendly, courteous and asked questions about my riding so he could really understand how I use my bike to make recommendations on other products. It was a pleasure to be assisted by Brendan, please pass this feedback on to him. Thank you!

  • Rob Harper

We just purchased new bikes and gear from the Castle Hill store. Staff member Ethan was fantastic. He took the time to listen to our needs and spent a great deal of time to make sure we found what would suit us. He was patient and informative throughout the entire transaction. His manner really did make a positive impact to our customer experience. Thanks Ethan

  • Sugandha Sharma

Visited them last week. Ended up buying 2 bikes for me and my husband. Absolutely love their helpful staff. There was a younge gentleman there names Ethan I guess, he helped us a lot to explain different models. Took good time our for us and helped us chose accessories. I absolutely love my bikes and will totally recommend everyone to go and chcek them out.

  • Chris Batty

Fantastic service and advice from the whole team. Great product knowledge and a genuine passion for their products and the sport in general. My daughter is delighted with her new Merida. As a side note - I was very impressed with the business’s approach to the current hygiene and social distancing guidelines. Look forward to my next visit!

I recently purchased a bike for my daughter from 99 Bikes in Castle Hill, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received, especially from Joe. He went above and beyond to ensure we got the perfect bike and provided valuable insights. Joe's knowledge and friendly demeanour made the experience a breeze. Kudos to Joe!

Joe helped our family with the purchase of new bikes. His customer service skills are very impressive. He was more interested to help us with our needs than just do business. He is very polite and approachable. We got some of the best deals in the market and are very happy with the purchase. Thank you Joe!

Had a warranty claim for my ebike and without a doubt - Yoken (apologies for spelling) and the team followed up my replacement part with the manufacturer and had my bike back on the road in time for a long weekend ride - thank you team for your constant following up and service - highly recommend …

Buying a bike is a more complicated experience, and the right guidance is critical. Ash helped me understand the sizing of the bikes as it would affect the cycling experience. Incredible Customer service experience and he knows what he is talking about and is passionate about it. -Thanks, Mate.

  • Glenn Grover

Absolutely awesome experience. Allie was super helpful and speedy to locate a bike I had been looking for and was able to have it shipped to the Castle Hill store for me. I plan on purchasing another bike for my wife in the near future and it will definitely be from Allie at Castle Hill.

  • Julie McEwan

Great friendly service. The work was professionally done. I like that the bike was assessed when I dropped it off so all costs where known upfront. My only reticence is that I t does seem a bit pricey given the initial cost of the bike and the suggestion that it should be done 6 monthly.

I bought my first electrical bike this week here and I cant be more satisfied, the guys are experts and extremely kind. Specially Charles that helped me to choose the all the accessories for my bike and gave me essential tips to ride safe. I strongly recommend this place and the team.

I just popped in as I was having tires fitted to the car, was curious re the pedal assist electric bikes. David gave me a break down of types and costs. Followed an emailed quote for the special of the month, along with offering me test ride during the week day. Very nicely run shop.

I had my bike serviced and repaired here recently and they did a great job. Having a bike that’s an unusual make and trickier to fix, they were able to provide solutions to the bikes problems in a timely manner. Good team here, treat them well and they’ll do the same for you. Thanks.

  • Ken McNelley

Don’t seem to ever have a pleasant experience at 99 Bikes Castle Hill. This is the third time (first review) where their website has what I need but they don’t hold the item when speaking to them in store. Recommend going to another 99 Bikes store, can recommend Pennant Hills.

  • Yevan Mallawa

The service at 99 Bikes was fantastic! Also, the range and the colour of the bikes they had were marvellous. The staff are really friendly and the bike service at the store is really convenient for those who see their bike as more than just a fixture of metal and grease.

  • Michela Barry

This is the second and third bike we have purchased through 99 bikes. I originally placed a call to head office and had exceptional customer Service. We then visited the very busy store, Norman was so helpful to us despite being very busy. I highly recommend 99 bikes.

  • TONK AU

Terrible experience waiting in line for 40mins just to buy a shock pump. They should dedicate a team member to serve customers who are lining up for quick transactions. There was no way I was staying in line for another half hour or more for a 2 min transaction....

  • Warren

Great bicycle store, more than willing to help me swap out shoes I ordered online with a pair that fit in the store. Call them up for a front derailleur tweak and Gerald in servicing sorted it out. Massive thank you for always being so accommodating and friendly.

  • Ponding Jones (Pon007)

Had my bike serviced and very happy with outcome. Yakim fixed the issue with the rear derailleur. He's a fantastic mechanic, very knowledgeable. He also let me know what other bike parts need to be replaced next. Will be back. Keep up the good work.

Was informed tyre tubes have no warranty after a new one lasted less than 30mins before leaking. The service guy was great but had to fork out for another tube. Was never informed at purchase.

  • Matt Buch0

Had some BMX forks I needed a star nut installed on. The legend in the service area did it for nothing and I was out in 2 minutes. Rare these days you get that type of service, appreciate it!

  • Brett McMurtrie

A pleasant buying experience. Although one part was on Back order Dave communicated that clearly. It only took a couple of days to arrive and when I picked it up Kim’s service was faultless.
