Beautiful cemetery that is impeccably maintained. The care taken by families of loved ones buried here is amazing. I saw many people bringing flowers and cleaning the grave sites. The views from here are incredible too!

I stumbled upon this after wandering through maryuama park and it seems to be the best kept secret for the best views of Kyoto. Be respectful by not talking, burning incense, bowing, and donating a few coins.

One of the most impressive cemeteries I have seen so far. Take a few steps up the hill to have a full view, and at the same time always mind the place you are in.

There is no route to Higashiyama observatory from here. BUT there are some from chioin, maruyama park and kyomizudera.

山の中腹にある静かな墓地。 分布も墓石もヨーロッパのもの（10,000km以上離れている）とあまり変わりません。 私たちが訪れたのは日曜日でしたが、親戚の墓石を掃除している年配の方がいらっしゃいました。

他の国では、訪問に墓地を含めるのはおかしいと思われるかもしれませんが、日本では違います。時間があれば、訪れる価値があります:)
